Civil Disobedience...

Liberals crack me up. They go on and on about how everything they do, say and believe in is based on sound scientific principles. They yell at the top of their lungs about the global warming that's going to kill us all. And even though not a single one of their doom and gloom, end of the world predictions have ever come true they claim it's settled science. Period. End of story. They've fought tooth and nail for the last five and a half years to stop the Keystone Pipeline dead in it's tracks because, well, because the science was on their side. At least they thought it was. Late last week the State Department released it's long awaited scientific based Environment Impact Report concerning the pipeline project and it the liberals mad as hell about it. It more or less debunked the notion that moving 830,000 barrels of oil a day through the pipeline wold dramatically increase greenhouse emmisions. The report pointed out that using alternate modes of transportation such as rail, trucks and barges would generate about 30% more greenhouse emmisions that the pipelineever would. The liberals yelled and screamed about the potential environmental disaster from a spill. But according to the report using the alternative modes of transportation pose a much greater risk to the environment. Now that the scientific evidence has been presented and a consensus has been reached they'd be happy. Wrong. Like everything else liberal they're all loving and supportive as long as it goes their way. They're turning their back on the very science they've held up as a symbol of truth and righteousness all their lives and are now calling for wide spread civil disobedience. Face it libs, you're on the wrong side of history. More and more people are waking up to the fact that your entire global warming hysteria is a scam. But hey, good luck with that whole civil disobedience thing. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/02/01/keystone-opponents-vow-civil-disobedience-vigils-starting-monday/ Kevin McGinty

  2. The liberals have always been on the wrong side of "civil causes" In 1964 it was the Republican Party that overwhelmingly supported the Civil Right Act of 1964. While the Democraps were a party divided.

  4. The problem is that if this civil disobedience materializes the government would probably turn a blind eye on it. The current POTUS has led by example on the support if I agree and whine and not support a law if I disagree. Just like obama supporting the wall street occupiers. That is what disheartens me about this whole mess obama has the US in. Legalizing marijuana is okay because the people of the state voted (Colorado and Washngton) to legalize, but as in Utah's case what the people of the state voted for is not OK , as in the case of same sex marriages. Activist federal judges and obamas administration picking and choosing what lwas to uphold and what laws to say, that is not a good law so we won't enforce that legislation.

  6. Where's the global warming when you need it? They might want to think twice before they do any civil disobiedence. Pres. Obama has no problem throwing people under the bus. If they do anything to radical, drone strikes may occur. Then he'd proclaim that we can't have the pipeline or more protesters might be harmed.

I agree, we need global warming. After taking 21/2 hours to go 30 miles to get to the cows, to help nephew and wife, then 2 hours of scooping bunks, and another 2 hours of chores. Thank goodness it only took us 40 minutes to get home. But I think that we are done for the day. It is nice to have the younger generation doing most of the winter chores. Bad news is no trucking for the rest of the week, maybe next week. Good news is the sermon should be good this week as I have no excuse to leave the warmth and comfort of home. Thankful we did not get Topeka's 13 inches and had only 7.
