Kansas Caucus 2016

Anti-Trump Protesters Inside the Rally

Anti-Trump Protest Outside the Rally

The Lone Anti-Trump Counter Protester

Saturday March 5, 2016 was a glorious day in Kansas.  Not only was it Caucus Day for both the Republicans and the Democrats, four presidential candidates visited Kansas to stump for our votes.

Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump came to Kansas to make a pitch for our votes.  Kansas was in play, we were important and we turned out in droves to vote.  Twice as many Republicans voted yesterday than they did in 2012.

I made the trek to Wichita, Kansas to attend the Trump Rally.  I am glad I did.  It was a spectacle, a circus of sorts with Donald Trump in full control of all the rings – he was, without a doubt, the Ringmaster.

There were about 3,000 people inside at the rally and maybe 25 anti-Trump protesters outside.  Inside, there were about 10 anti-Trump protesters.  A group of about six young black people started yelling anti-Trump rhetoric and got into a shouting match with an older white guy.  They were removed from the rally before it started.  The older white guy remained.

Kansas Secretary of State, Kris Kobach warmed up the crowd with an anti-illegal immigration speech.  Then Trump came out to cheers from the crowd of a mix of young and old.  The crowd was there to see “Trump” and he did not disappoint them.  He was Trump.

He called Marco Rubio, “little Marco” and Ted Cruz, “lying Ted.”  The crowd ate it up; me not so much.  I prefer a little more civility.  I will say, I did appreciate his attack on Mitt Romney.  He called him a stiff and a loser.  In my opinion, Romney needs to shut up and stop attacking Trump.

Trump went on to attack illegal immigration promising to build a wall and stop the flow of drugs into our country.  This brought raucous cheers from the crowd, well at least all 99.999 percent of them.

There was a group of young people in attendance.  The young ladies wore head garb and one of the young men wore a Muslim Student Association shirt.  All wore stars with the word “Muslim” on it.  They unfurled a flag and started shouting something.  I could not hear what they were saying because the crowd immediately drowned them out with chants of “Trump, Trump, Trump.”
They were escorted out to cheers.  Then a lone young man, appeared to be Hispanic, stood on his chair and started shouting at Trump.  He was quickly removed.  Trump responded by saying, “Did you see that?  I told the protester to sit and he sat.  I like that protester, he is someone I can reason with.”  The crowd loved it.

He finished up his speech by taking on Obama and Obama’s trading Bowe Bergdahl for five terrorists, saying, “I am not going to get a traitor and give them five people.”  He railed against unfair trade deals with China and Mexico.  He said, “we need to get rid of these deals.  We get laughed at for these deals.

The crowd came to see Trump and he did not disappoint.  Trump, unlike the GOP establishment, has his finger on the pulse of many Americans.  He knows many Americans are angry and why they are angry.  He is giving the American people what they want to hear from a candidate.

In the end, that is why I voted for Cruz.  I listened to Cruz and he said much the same thing Trump did sans insults.  I liked he did not insult people.  I liked that I felt that Cruz was not telling people what they wanted to hear; he was telling us what he believed and it came from his heart and his soul.

In the end, I found Trump to be entertaining, but I found Cruz to be inspirational.  Substance trumps (excuse the pun) style for me.  Cruz earned my vote.

I came away with this thought; we are a divided and angry nation.  The majority of the attendees at the Trump rally represent one side of the schism and the anti-Trump protesters represent the other side.  It does not have to be this way.  I was standing next to three young ladies protesting Trump when a older man started screaming, "morons" at them.

I said to the three, I am sorry to see you treated that way.  While I disagree with you, I support your right to stand here, without verbal abuse, to protest.  One of the three who had a paper badge with the word "gay" on it, asked me what I liked about Trump.  I explained and I explained, among other things, that even though I was conservative I supported equal rights for all regardless of sexual orientation.  I said, "if I want my rights protected I must protect the rights of others."

She beamed a smile and thrust her hand out to shake mine.  A bridge, albeit a small one, but a bridge nonetheless was built at that moment.  We need less anger and more bridges today to unite our country and to, in the words of Trump, "make America great again.

  2. Your ability to put your thoughts into words is what I've always liked about you, Truthteller.

You and I probably won't ever agree on every issue but on this one you nailed it and made me think.

You tend to be a bridge builder and more prone to be the old guy flipping someone the bird.

Ever since Rand Paul dropped out of the race my choice has been Ted Cruz.

But then along came Trump yelling and saying most of the exact same things I know we're all thinking and I half heartedly jumped on the Trump bandwagon. But as time goes on and the more he speaks it's clear he doesn't actually have a plan.

In a way he reminds me of Obama and the endless soundbites he ran on.

    More rhetoric and empty words...

The counter protester wore a Viet Nam Vet jacket. Yeah, he was Hispanic but so what. I saw an American who served his country, not his skin color. I care about who he is not where he came from.

  10. Excellent says it all, KTT! And it boils down to: sent 'em a message or send 'em a winner. When I caucused I barely paid attention to anyone other than Hammer, Safe or my brother. Now Hammer was the only non-Kasich among us and he was for Cruz. Yet, you can ask Hammer, we all looked at Cruz people as fellows. Our dislikes were pointed toward The Ego and Boy Wonder. Hell, my other brother and his family (interestingly, Hispanic) ALL went to Ramada for Cruz. Like I said, actually voting was almost an afterthought. One more thing, none of us paid any attention to the speeches being given. We're people with stronger beliefs than to have them changed by some anonymous windbag trying to blow smoke up our asses.

And like I've also said: I can barely wait for Truckhenge II!!!

  15. Another note from yesterday, was the fact nobody bagged on each other for personal choices when I met at Ramada. We were all similar, but yet different. I'm fact we did actually understand why we made the choices that we did, and respected them. Try getting that from a liberal.
My choice for Cruz is based on last year's CPAC, his liberal enemies in college referring to him as the best and brightest, political record particularly on immigration, and his speaking ability.
Cruz knocks are TPP, being to smart sounding at times, and his nature of getting suckered into negative attacks(glad they weren't present for you KTT) lately. I appreciate it if he wouldn't eat boogers(wink wink), too.

Now as to the blogger? Fantastic. It's been said already, but making a small bridge is certainly a microcosm of what need to happen in America. When given the chance, we must show why conservatives stand for the principles that stereotypes contradict. That's excellent on his part. Good man. Amd double kudos for sharing what happened in Wichita, because it seems it was ground zero for the Kansas caucus. Double thumbs up buddy!

Looks like Overstreet is doing her hypocritical race-baiting thing over there...accusing conservatives of being "race-baiters".

What do you call someone who has established a clear history of race-baiting, and accuses others of doing the same?

She does make one point though, but not onen that hasn't already been considered. Trump going in a Republican and turning Democrat.

There is still a possibility of a contested convention, with Trump just shy of the needed delegates. That's when things could get really interesting, and ugly. That's also where Cruz could possibly come out on top. "Possibly". I still think that nearly all those who aren't FOR Trump...won't be if at all possible...and will all those "not Trump" could go to the next-leading guy...which appears to be Cruz, at the moment.

    All just speculation.

Anyway...man...whatever I got hit hard again last night. The meds ain't workin'! Gotta go back to the Dr. this am.

  29. I think to a Dem, snark = smart. Hey, Sarge you know I really only jump in Bat's shit. He hates that Mutt & Jeff game I play with him. He's hypersensitive when I pull that Ivy League argument. I know it hurts his ego, so I go for it. The rest of them really don't deserve that sort of game. I know it offends some good people who don't know the score (sort of like EFH last year), but when you've seen it as often as Safe, you know I don't really believe it myself. But it's useful to wound oversize egos. I know how to check Lucy and Boz anyway. YP just won't address arguments he will use. Vacuum, indeed!!! They really hate free speech, whilst Bat waxes eloquent about how much he likes it, simultaneously narcing people out.

Oh "The Return of the Jedi" will be fun on cj. The caterwauling and boo-hoo-hooing will be music to my ears.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Of course buttstache, AKA Il Duce is happy over on CJ. He's as happy as a sissy with a sack full of dicks. He's found a blog on a left wing newspaper that allows him to act as moderator and slavishly deletes any term, words, posts or posters he personally finds offensive. And apparently CJ has conceded his personal taste in what used to be called the free exchange of ideas is the ruling standard. Much as all fascists get a twister whenever their apparatchiks gain control of the media and the public discourse and only their ideas are allowed to be expressed.

I believe somebody wrote a book about this philosophy and it's eventual inevitable conclusion when carried to fruition. Mr Orwell's 1984. If you have never read it, or it has been a while I recommend a refresher read. It will frighten you when you see what happens when the buttstaches of the world are allowed free reign. And believe me, it is indeed happening.

And we also have found a blogging home, except one where there is no single opinion allowed but instead all opinions are welcome. Where if you are offended to the point of tears by someone not agreeing with you, you are welcome to not read it. Say what you wish here. Disagree with anybody you wish. Others may disagree with you and say so. That is the theory our society was built on, and the one it will survive on if allowed to continue. If not, and if the buttstaches of the world prevail, it will disappear for all time. And remember, this is the last society left in this world that still allows free exchange of ideas. The only society that enshrined freedom of speech into it's very founding documents. We're all that's left folks. And I will continue to haunt this blog and comment to my hearts content secure in the knowledge that all may not agree with me all the time, but I'm free to speak my thoughts and others are welcome to agree with me, or challenge me, or debate me. But no one will silence me.

You want to know what America looks like? Look no further. Here it is. You want to know what totalitarianism looks like? Look over on the CJ Urinal. There it is.

  32. And I might add what a pleasant but too short conversation I had at the Caucus with my friends Hammer and Ken. I think if we really looked at it, we would find some issues we agree completely on, some we are close on and some we are in direct disagreement on.

But we had a great conversation. looking for agreement. I walked away feeling much uplifted and happy knowing I have friends like them. That makes my life much richer.

And I find that when I listen to my friend Ken, I learn things. And I have positions that have changed because of listening to his reasoned challenges to my status quo.

I recently saw a facebook post by a Hollywood liberal friend of my daughter. She was commenting she needed to unfriend some people who disagreed with her politically. I thought about how sad that was. You can't even be friends with someone because they refuse to agree with you. That alone would be the death of our civil society if it happens.

  33. O.P. here.

Kenneth..Although you are perfectly within your rights to do whatever you wish to do, as long as it does not hurt someone else, I believe that I have to take exception on your decision to run you "open" Friday blog.
Without going into detail, I think your posting it may have gone against the original intent.
And like you said above, sometimes it is useful to "wound oversize egos", maybe just to get your point across!
You can take my opinion for whatever it is worth to you, because unlike the Liberals who post, with whom any disagreement to an opinion, seems to spell "hatred" for the person that disagrees with them,, we on this site can have disagreements without getting carried away with the difference of opinion.
Just take my ramblings for what they are worth my friend! Have a great day!

    1. If you read my earlier comments in the Free For All blog you know I agree with you.

Here is the thing. Kenneth thinks he is winning but there is no winning with people who are intellectually dishonest.

Once Lucy used a source to bash conservatives but the source then admitted it was wrong and retracted it. I called her on it and she claimed the source, the one she used, was wrong in its retraction.

BS isn't in it to discuss or persuade. He is in it to disrupt. Kenneth could say the sky was blue and BS would say it was green just to disrupt and he'd never admit it was blue.

Kenneth is losing because he doesn't understand the rules of the game. It isn't a debate, it isn't a battle of wits, it is who can be more disruptive and get people banned. Kenneth will never win that game.

  34. Unrelated:
    http://cjonline.com/news/2016-03-06/shawnee-county-quest-credit-union-seeking-improvements-burnetts-mound

Uh...I'm not against development...but some areas like Burnett's Mound....need to be left alone..... Though I wasn't physically here during the 1966 tornado - but the direction it took as it came up over Burnett's Mound is enough to have me believe this "superstition"....

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Topeka,_Kansas

On June 8, 1966, Topeka was struck by an F5 rated tornado, according to the Fujita scale. It started on the southwest side of town, moving northeast, passing over a local landmark named Burnett's Mound. According to a local Indian legend, this mound was thought to protect the city from tornadoes if left undisturbed. A few years prior to the tornado strike saw development near the mound including a water tank constructed near the top of the mound against the warnings of local Native Americans. The tornado went on to rip through the city, hitting the downtown area and Washburn University. Total dollar cost was put at $100 million making it, at the time, one of the most costly tornadoes in American history. Even to this day, with inflation factored in, the Topeka tornado stands as one of the most costly on record. It also helped bring to prominence future CBS and A&E broadcaster Bill Kurtis, who became well known for his televised admonition to "take cover, for God's sake, take cover" on WIBW-TV during the tornado. (The city is home of a National Weather Service Forecast Office that serves 23 counties in north-central, northeast, and east-central Kansas).

    Topeka in 1980
Topeka recovered from the 1966 tornado and has sustained steady economic growth. Washburn University, which lost several historic buildings from the tornado, received financial support from the community and alumni to rebuild many school facilities. Today, university facilities offer more than one million square feet of modern academic and support space.

Gee, sincerely, I am hoping nothing tragic comes from this development project...

  36. Well, it's pretty "safe" to say I have learned a few things from some of the people here, particularly you, Mr. Brown. When sites allow unfettered political discussion, everyone benefits.

The left understood this too, once upon a time. But now they've grown to demand that speech be banned as too "hurtful." As Mr. T used to say "I pity the fools." Their positions, all too often, are infantile. Sure there are exceptions like Boz. But they're all to uncommon nowadays.

And then to celebrate tattling, as Bat-scat now does openly. Minnow complains of his posts being removed as though WE'RE the ones doing the whining. He needs to look at his buddy Bat. 'Cause Bat's no one's "buddy." He's the biggest Blue Falcon in Topeka. (Look that one up if you aren't familiar with it)

OP, it isn't named anything open or anything Friday anymore. I've had some conversations and it will remain as it currently is for the time being. Of course, it isn't my normal sort of blog, but I haven't time for that on a weekly basis and conservatives need some place to be for awhile. There are still some out on CJ.

Anyway, you've probably noticed that I'm here more. It's more pleasant to discuss than to have to be argumentative all the time.

  37. yep Sarge... my hubby was 11 years old when the tornado went through. They were already in the Seaman area north of town and he said it was massive and had the classic V shape before he went to the basement.

Not to freak anyone (and not to have y'all think I'm nutzoid) but I can't help but feel that the force of the tornado had the spirits of the Indians of the past in it as they thundered through riding on their horses.

    2. I was 12 when the tornado went through. My family had just eaten at Griff's on 29th & Adams, then gone shopping at Harry's IGA (where Boyle's is now). The sirens went off while we were shopping and my dad and I stepped outside. The dark cloud looked like someone was holding a snake by the tail, the bottom was whipping all around while we saw it moving north of us. The winds deposited a bathtub in the golf course across the street and we went back inside. Going home was dangerous and took a long time. The residents warning us away from downed power lines "hot stuff" saved dozens of lives. Of course the tornado's path was such that we had to cross it to get from 29th & Adams to Oakland. Garden Park was wrecked. North of Sardou wasn't touched. Anyway, since dad was a cop he got called in (his vacation was cancelled) and he more or less worked for a week straight after that.

He's tried to have some of my writings pulled, but the second he hints at it, I let him know that he's done the same thing, and let the mods know that they can do as they please, but best not to do now what they're going to have a hard time defending in front of Sherman the next business day. 42. You have to remember that browneyestache only visits and posts on those blogs for one reason. To provoke someone into responding in some way he can flag and send an email to his friends the moderators. So out of some misguided sense of duty, they do his evil bidding and delete posts or delete posters depending on which soulless godless moderator is working that shift.

He has no desire to engage, debate, discuss, make any kind of point or appear in any way to be an individual who has any ability to think beyond reflex and instinct. Sometimes referred to as a person with a lizard brain. No real cognitive ability, only able to react.

He seems to have found favor with the CJ mods, not a particularly difficult task for a godless liberal to find sympathizers among other godless liberals. Even Charles Manson has his little group of faithful followers who only saw his messianic projections and completely missed his pathological manipulations of them.

So our black hearted friend lurks with evil intents, hoping to lure an innocent into his little web of deceit so he can further gloat and preen like the foul dark creature he is, freshly risen from the lake of fire where all his fellow demons dwell, cast there by God to be released after the Apocalypse.

And the Captain pimp slaps him around a little, as I have done so many times. But be aware, he has probably flagged you a dozen times by now, just waiting to catch one of his fellow travelers with finger poised on the delete button to make you go away.

He plays with a loaded deck. Just like Satan has no problem convincing the ungodly left to do his work, buttstache convinces his dim witted friends to join him in his quest to be the most detested snitch in town.

And he is indeed proud, isn't he? And we all know how much respect law enforcement officers have for snitches, don't we? Why, they often invite them home for Thanksgiving dinner to show their gratitude for all the great tips. Right? Wrong. They actually view snitches with the same contempt they do the criminals. They consider them to be about the same level on the evolutionary scale as they do the criminals. The only difference between snitches and criminals is the criminal actually has some self awareness and knows what he does is wrong, he just doesn't care. Snitches don't even know just how foul their behavior is.

Where I come from, snitches get stiches. And wind up in ditches.

  48. Captain Ken, I think where you are going wrong is you are imagining deep inside buttstache resides some measure of humanity. And you're thinking if you just hit the right note you can reach that.

But this is one strange cat here. He's one of those guys who when you look him in the eyes you just see pools of black darkness. His soul was snatched out years ago and his humanity along with it.

I know you've encountered his type before. I know some of the places you've been. Out prisons and mental hospitals are full of his type. I suspect the mope who got shot by the Marshals today is one.

They function well in places you or I would never go. They're sniveling little rats who seek to ingratiate themselves to their masters at the expense of other people.

His world is a miserable one I'm sure. And of his own making.

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance and a deep need for admiration. Those with narcissistic personality disorder believe that they're superior to others and have little regard for other people's feelings. But behind this mask of ultra-confidence lies a fragile self-esteem, vulnerable to the slightest criticism.

Expecting to be recognized as superior even without
      achievements that warrant it

      Exaggerating your achievements and talents

Being preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate

Believing that you are superior and can only be understood by or associate with equally special people

  70. Heard today that Turkey has taken over it's main newspaper, who suddenly switched editorial positions from anti government to pro government. And this is a country obama has held up as a fine example of muslim wonderfulness. He considers them to be very moderate.

So the real point being, this is how fascists and totalitarians operate. Have people publically disagreeing with your positions? Silence them. Typically we see governments of that leaning silencing media but in America that can't really happen so it filters all the way down to the lowest bottom dwellers.

We are seeing that over on CJ. Now people post things that buttstache disagrees with. Debate and defend his position? Not his style. Much easier to silence them using a cooperative left wing media. Don't like what I say? Dispute me, prove me wrong. No, easier to hound your equally uncivil moderator friends into banning my speech. That's just the new way of doing things. We knew we could expect a chilling stifling when they elected a Marxist leaning left wing community organizer to the presidency.

We see this happening more and more. When the IRS went after conservative groups, denying and slow walking non profit status, auditing those who dare speak against this regime that's not just a punitive action to punish those who dare publically disagree, that's also a clear warning to others. Follow the same course, and expect the same action. And we also have the EPA, NSA, OSHA and a legion of federal agencies armed with their own SWAT teams, remember that.

Poor little old Gibson guitars. Supported Republicans and got raided by heavily armed tactical agents from, wait for it, federal fish and game. The crime that earned this full scale military style raid? Suspected of using wood imported improperly based on a very tilted reading of the statutes. And no small coincidence, Martin guitars uses the same wood imported the same way from the same place, but wisely donates to democrat coffers, so their name hasn't come up in the list of master criminals needing to be punished by the full force and weight of the government.

So I guess my point is don't be surprised when buttstache does what he does. His president does the same thing and his apparatchiks have led them down this path. Everything old is new again. Even the old Soviet Union Communists. We have one running for president. That guy took his honeymoon in the old Soviet Union. They were pretty fond of silencing anyone who posed a threat of spreading the truth. These are just their descendants carrying on the legacy.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I have new respect for old Blue. Maybe I was too harsh on him. Almost makes me regret all the nasty things I said about him.

I mean I always accused him of being long winded, and look at me. Never say anything in one paragraph I can say in ten. So who am I to talk?

And I will say since I doubt any of you are flagging lucy and blue I think whoever suggested it was buttstache may be on to something. He does like his role of Il Duce of the CJ regime and just like most of his ilk, paranoia runs deep in the heartland. He may not like to hear from anybody but himself. Not uncommon in his particular form of mental illness.

Maybe Batt should help her out instead of trying to get her post pulled all the time.
So CJ had a conservative lady that was pulling the libs posts? Now that is a really far out post. I wonder if she really has some proof or just another Liberal flash back.
But it seems like the urinal has gone to the route of never never land. They are having a hard time trying to keep that place up and running with just their little gang trying to run all the blogs. I really think that a blog over there is just a waste of a good writers ability's .

  88. Pearl wants everybody back. Look at how he goads. But Kevin might want to be like Sandy Claws, you know "Making a List, Checkin' it Twice, Gonna Find Out Who's Naughty and Nice."

    ReplyDelete
  89. Lucy lives in her own little world somewhere inside that head of hers, where reality can find no perch. She believes things she thinks she hears are true as long as she agrees with it. She imagines people are "hacking" CJ and deleting her posts. And she imagines she know who is flagging her. Information that is not available to her. But she is a sad case, possible confused, possible just purely filled with ideological hatred. Victim of the left wing persecution complex. "look at all the names everybody calls me". "and I never say anything the least bit inflammatory".

Sad but unfortunately very representative of the ungodly left wing.

As for Pearl, I still think he is just another log in for buttstache. One of his alter egos. One of the symptoms of his personality disorder. As in multiple. Hell, he probably flags himself sometimes when he forgets which personality is inhabiting his empty soul at a particular given time.

  93. Goosey Lucy has a blog up and she cant even get two pages while they are all over the Capt's blog. I just dont get you libs. You all b and b about the two bloggers and then they go poof up in the air but you will not support poor old Lucy. Now that is some serious things for a blog writer. Why do libs not support other libs? Why do libs cut other libs and back stab them. Why does Batt Ass flag other libs and their blogs? We all know that Batt has flagged more libs than all the other posters combined.
So Batt why do you go on and on about others when you are the one that is a Narc. Doesn't C J pay you enough so you dont have to be a Batt Ass and stab and narc out the other libs?
Note to other libs You all have a spy and a Narc right in among you all.

  95. Lucy is bluffing. And like chicken little, yelling "Hacker!"
    Both are signals of defeat.

What is most troubling is that I read four of her posts. She says that she flags, and doesn't flag. I'm not sure she knows what she does. I guess that is to be expected. So sad. To be "stuck" like that. Probably just like skippey said, damage from journeying down the rabbit hole.

  107. Good morning, y'all! Nunya here.

First off, best wishes to Rose and PK. My best friend has recently gone through some extremely rough chemo/radiation treatment...and he's pretty much cleared out, now. Seeing him on some of his rougher days makes this crap I've got seem like a GOOD day, in comparison.

Went back in the other day (Monday morning)....feeling pretty crappy and achy. What they first gave me (Friday) was doing no good. It appears that it evolved into a full-blown bacterial lung infection. When I got there, I had a temp of 104, and she sent me elsewhere for chest x-rays. Doc said it was just shy of pneumonia...so prescribed some antibiotic, some Tylenol for fever, and an inhaler...to..y'know..breathe.

She said if fever didn't break soon, I may need to go to hospital, but she sent me home. So...home I went. Gobbled some pills, and went to bed. Just being out driving around that morning wore the hell out of me. Woke up in pools of sweat later that afternoon, but fever had come down to 100. Got up...tried to eat a little cereal, some juice...another Tylenol...a hot, hot shower...and back to bed. Got up yesterday morning not QUITE so bad, and fever ...just still weak, coughing up, etc. Today...temp is close to normal. Still headache, weak and some congestion still obviously in there.

Don't think I'm ready to go to work, yet. Geez...maybe I can get a little more food into me.

Meanwhile, I guess I will pop over by the Urinal to see if I can gather any good 'material'. Y'know...never know what kind of ridiculousness from over there might come in handy?

I may feel crappy...but I still haven't lost my sense of humor!

  117. I heard the Hillbeast and Barney on the FOX town hall, well clips of it anyway. They both agreed that abortion is entirely up to the woman, nobody's business. Abortion is OK right up to the birth. A woman can be in the delivery room and change her mind and just say, no, kill it instead. And they would be just fine and dandy with that.

In light of all this hysteria around the civil war, banning the flag, renaming schools, digging up Devil Forrest and moving him, tearing down monuments I wonder something.

I wonder if when America finally comes to its senses and realizes we have allowed people to kill 60 million unborn babies and we are guilty of genocide will the people who supported this infant holocaust become pariahs like the civil war supporters are? Will we curse their names and wipe their memory from our civilization? Will we ever admit we were wrong and they were evil people who led a willful nation down a path of self destruction? Somehow I doubt it.

John Brown was an abolitionist who committed and act of treason and violence to attempt to stop slavery. He was tried and hung as a terrorist. Now his face is on the wall of our state capital building and he is remembered as a hero.

Times change. Nations change. But godless left wingers don't ever seem to change, do they? They use the same defenses for abortion they used for slavery. It's legal, get over it. The Supreme Court upheld it. They aren't people, they're not human. Are those arguments for abortion or slavery? Used for both, and by democrats in both cases.

Funny to me how the Hillbeast says abortion is in the constitution, which it isn't, so it can't be touched. But the right to keep and bear arms actually is in the constitution, and she still hasn't found that.
