So long my Truthtelling Friend...

I sat back and watched as yesterday's drama unfolded.

Call me a coward but there was no way in hell I was going to get in the middle of it.

I understand where our Truthtelling friend was coming from but didn't exactly agree with the way he handled it.

But it was his blog and how he handled it was completely his call to make.

Had it been me I'd have just told you guys to knock it the hell off or I'd have Sara kick your asses and left it at that.

Anyway, Truthteller contacted me through Facebook a little while to let me know he was fed up and that he's done with the whole blogging thing.

He said something to the effect that blogging was making him an angry person.

He asked that I remove his name from the title and unlike cjonline I have honored his request.

Truthteller, I wish you well my friend.

But I do hope you at least stop by every once in a while even if it's just to say hi...

Kevin McGinty

  1. This has me sad at heart - KTT, don't be a stranger - sending you hugs.
Sarge, SSAH, everyone - I'm sending y'all hugs also.

I'm hoping that there will be a day (sooner than later) that KTT will be back and everything will be ok.

  2. Well Kevin I do feel bad, as just before this hit the fan I was telling Carol that I am not the same person I always prided myself to be and I was losing it, so I understand exactly how KTT must feel. This stuff does takes a toll on some of us when for years you have been under the Gun, Now for ever I will blame this mess on myself, I know what I was, not just once but a few times was way over the line, so what it is worth I never meant it to go this far, and like you I pray that he will stop by and reconsider. Now I add that to my list of why I can't stand Handjob. But I also can't blame him for my lack of control. Stay Safe Ktt where are you are, or go.

    1. You know, Hand-Job, I do have to concur with belief that KTT is extremely conscientious and that this shows in how he conducts himself both on (blogs) and off (Truckhenge) duty. And he understands that it isn't a black and white world as well.

But how you hold ME "responsible" for disagreements that not only did I not initiate, I actively tried to mitigate and quell, I honestly don't understand. I expressed support for one standard. For his actions yesterday as well.

YOU, on the other "hand," initiate insulting blog entries whose design is either to hurt the feelings of others or to make yourself look like a big shot.

My being a lawyer has jack to do with jack. You're one, too. But where I like to use the blogs to discuss (face it, I've Dem friends [Blue, Lucy, Jimmie] and I don't know if you have any at all.

Besides, I've never tried to "keep people from getting close" to me. Hell, I've given out my real name, let people know I'm on FaceBook, and encouraged them to "friend" me on that medium.

And you are the "Anony-Mouse," right? And lecture me about my transparency???

      I'LL BE DAMNED!!!!

    2. Being called obteuse by the likes of you is like being called ugly by a hop-toad.

I'd hate to go through life like you. No discernible friends, project your myriad weaknesses onto others.

As to who'd ever come to me in friendship - well you weren't at either Truckhenge, were you? So how would you know?

Things I "don't get???" How come Blue doesn't talk that way to me? And that's in his area of expertise. But then, he's a lefty with integrity, quite unlike yourself.

  5. "Suspected" disingenuousness???? Come, come Hand-Job, you can do better than that.

I figured you'd be by to gloat.

Incidentally, calling people names when they're giving you a forum is the pinnacle of ingratitude.

    1. Unbelievable!! You project your own arrogance, dishonesty, and envy onto EVERYONE ELSE. If these were blogs "of the worst kind" they wouldn't have the influence and size that they do, now would they?

But that's not to say I don't find certain things "disgusting." Say viciously insulting a lady because she thinks we should wait for facts before passing judgment, or attempting to get people jailed when I don't have the facts, or making hateful remarks to people because their denomination has some secular businesses.

Is that the sort of disgust you're referring to?

    2. Anonymous brings nothing to the table. I see only personal vendetta and hatred filled rants that land not even remotely on target. Show some spunk and be a real man. Talk about issues, rather than turn this into some Oprah wannabe couseling session. From what I gather you are no better at that than law, apparently. I'll leave the legal counsel to Cap'n. He seems to be one of the only attorneys with his head screw on correctly.
Other than that, I reside on Safes side. Better get to your community service. Get my highways clean....

  6. Hand job, what's amusing is that you think you're quite the clever fellow with your witty repartee and excrement slinging.

And it's not suspected disingenuousness, it's very sincere disingenuousness on your part.

Now don't you have some community service to be completing? Get that orange vest on. The prison truck will be by any minute to pick you up. Don't want your parole officer putting out a BOLO for you, now do you? Scurry along little man. You're all done here.

  7. A little too dramatic for me these days. But I completely respect those here, those that were here, and those to come. I was even probably wrong to post encouragement to both sides, given the fact that I may not have all the details.
Regardless of current status or level of participation I embrace you all. I will always encourage our efforts in the face of the Ungodly, Unholy left(as always, thanks for that one safe) I am here because it's nice to be connected with people in some minute little way, to justify the feelings and beliefs I have.
I will never take my eyes off the road. I will always stand in the face of challenge, and always back those with me.
I am here not because I have to, but for the reminder of the many people around me feel the same way about our wonderful country.

The turmoil explained by Walsh in Devils Pleasure Palace, and the tactics of alinski in radicals sticks in my mind.
You must be willing to weather the storm, or you will never outlast what's to come. We must never eat our own, that's what they want. Or in simpler terms, Ride till ya Die! America depends on it.

  16. While at the radiologist office today I picked up a Sports Illustrated magazine and read an article about a survey on the attractiveness of quarterbacks'. The qualities ratings included an overall score of perceived leadership quality, intelligence, confidence, poise and social skill. The highest scoring QB is Alex Smith. I just thought y'all might like to know that little bit of information.

  17. Rikki, your dinner sounds great. I love pizza. I am making tacos from scratch. I fry my taco shells keeping some flat and some curved then all all the other ingredients. One thing that I think makes a difference is I grate the cheese instead of using already grated cheese, and I use Colby not cheddar. The already grated chees is coated with something that keeps it from sticking together and it does something weird to the cheese. Homemade tacos are the best. I wish y'all lived closer to me, I'd invite you all over for dinner. I love to cook and I love to cook for large groups. Football season is my favorite time of year to cook.

Pulled out the pizza moments ago - late dinner. diced red and green bell peppers, sliced mushrooms, sliced black olives, diced onion, with the cheese, sauce, and pepperoni.

    Maybe you've seen it.
    http://mobile.wnd.com/2016/06/trans-student-wins-girls-track-championship/

I say we are headed for problems. It's true that sex and gender lines have been blurred. Physical, natural inherent differences no longer exist between man and woman.
What's next, college scholarships for men to play with girls?
This is disturbing and now I'm certain I'm going to have to explain this to my boys way before it's age appropriate. Dangerous path the left is leading us down.
    Gotta vote Trump.
Not for the sake of a man, for the sake of our country.

    On the flip side people.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well as long as can remember I have always said this country will be destroyed from within. It is upon us right now, this election is the most important of my life time.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Sorry about KTT. FWIW, I don't believe "blogging was making him an angry person".

He has integity, and is passionate about our country and the completely wrong direction we are headed, and blogging was an outlet for the frustration. So...more like...being angry about the unholy direction of our country made him a blogger? He has every right to be frustrated and angry about our country. But...I can understand. I have taken a few days off. And, frustration over "blogs" and the conduct within (at the Urinal), has (at least, temporarily) caused me to stop posting over there...but that was more frustration at the assholes at the Urinal, than anything.

Be well, KTT. Don't be a stranger.

Now then, concerning the "trans" thing, and the rapidly-accelerating mass confusion and dangerous acceptance of "gender misidentity"?

Obama did manage to do some 'fundamental transformation' on that. Of course, that was one of his intended goals from the start...and he would probably just LOVED to have pinned a medal on that confused little boy winning the girls' event. (So much for 'fairness for women', huh?)

One of sick, twisted Obama's earlist 'czar' appointees...(even more anti-American and evil...even more than the MANY whackos, Socialist/Commies and ill-suited-for-the-job morons he has installed...and possibly...the very MOST perverted and disgusting)...?

    Remember his "Safe Schools" czar?

    This criminal pedophile sexual-predator....?

    http://www.thenewamerican.com/culture/education/item/158-obamas-safe-schools-czar-kevin-jennings

So...yeah...Obama has made some progress for "the Progressives" (who are regressing us quickly all the way back to pre-caveman...)

A little too warm for a mugs worth of coffee so I gots me a glass of iced tea.

Have some of your thoughts on the Clinton / Sanders campaign led you to ponder that he might be her running mate? I still think that Trump is going to win though.... it's going to be a political battle for the history books for sure. Hillary would be a worse mistake than Obama.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Nunya, I agree about everything including KTT. I understand the frustration that can come and I know some of us got some raw nerves exposed and there was some disagreement over a couple days.

We all disagree on things, we wouldn't be true free thinking Conservatives if we didn't, we would just be unholy democrats goosestepping through life in complete lockstep. That's part of what makes us who we are.

I respect KTT and I hope whatever hard feeling arose can be put aside and we can all stay in this fight together. I certainly apologize to him for my part, I got my back up and was arguing with the guy who is on my side instead of the asshole troll handjob who basically caused the whole thing.

I hope KTT stays on as a part of our blogging family. He's one of the good guys and we need everyone we can get. We have a war to fight.

But I also understand the need to step back. I feel the same way sometimes. It just feels like too much and it gets hard to take the relentless push to destroy our civil society from the unholy ungodly left. But I think about my little two year old grandson and what kind of country I want to leave him and the fighting spirit comes back. I refuse to let these bastards steal my country, not without a fight.

    ReplyDelete
  32. SSAH, I agree with ya , and I take my share of the blame, Hell I take all of it, I know better to say what I said, and our Friend KTT had every right to call me out on it, I like some is just getting tired of watching our country go down the tubes from within. I can't let my discuss with a nobody like LearnedHand get the best of me, I can't stand the punk but I got to let it go. Later

    ReplyDelete
  33. Sarge, it's hard. Especially with that turd knocker hand job who personally stuck his nose in your business and caused you a bunch of unwarranted grief. And continues to try to libel you by saying untrue things here. He's a vicious little evil troll.

I met you at the summit and I expected a real fireball whooping and hollering and found you to be a very nice, soft spoken man who was there to serve others and share the event with your grandson. Not what I expected, but I also know when you say something like that your buttons must have been pushed pretty hard. So not having walked in your shoes and dealt with what that POS caused for you I can't really judge.

I know how I feel about buttstash who personally pushed the mods to boot me and finally caught some newby on the New Years eve shift and got it done. And then gloated about it for a month. I know how pissed off that made me. I can only imagine how angry you get when handjob gloats over what he did and keeps doing the same stuff.

But I hope at this point we can all just put that whole thing behind us, and we all learned something from it. Hurt feelings can be left behind when you choose to.

Hell, it's not the first time I've been crossways with a friend and gotten past it. My hope is that is what happens here.

    ReplyDelete
  34. SSAH, well what you saw is what you get, and thanks for the kind words, the summit Kevin and his family wanted to work means the same to me It is about people meeting people as who they really are, not the ones they think they see from behind a keyboard, And from my army days where I and my family had get togethers for my troops 3 times a year many had nowhere to go, and I was in my prime still involves a lot of work for one family, that is why I ask Him if I could help, between us now others stepping up it gets easier and bigger, I hope to mingle more next time, But I was listening to all as everyone spoke to each other, But to be honest the clean up really suck the next morning, I hope next we can maybe get Batshit to handle that.

  38. I wasn't going to visit Rm 235 but habits are hard to break. And I wasn't going to post but I feel like I need to after reading some of the comments.

You're good people and I like and respect you.

Nun is right. Blogging is a release for me. I realize I am not going to change the world by blogging but I feel like I am doing something to counter the friggin evil in the world and the path that we are on leading us to destruction.

What made me angry over at CJ was the stupid posters. They made me angry.

I liked it here because I didn't have that aggravation of being personally attacked.

And then suddenly I am attacked here by the people I respect for deleting one post of Sarge's. I deleted all of hands posts and in my my mind it was done. Showed him he doesn't run the show here.

Well it should have been done but Sarge attacked him again. I didn't care that Sarge attacked him. Good for Sarge but it was with a foul and disgusting post like those I've deleted of not friend posters before. I weighed the decision carefully before doing it but in the end I felt it had no place here.

Obviously many of you, including Kevin, disagree with my deleting it. That's okay, but I got angry over what I perceived to be personal attacks primarily by Safe. He wasn't going to post anymore because of the censorship - I thought really - it was one post.

You can tell I was angry because of the way I responded to Safe. Safe - I am sorry for being nasty to you.

But I feel like I can't blog here anymore because to the you the truth I would do it again even knowing the firestorm it'd create.

In my mind standards and principles are not predicated on how much you like someone. yes you do cut friends some slack and to tell you the truth I did cut Sarge slack. I deleted that one post and didn't go through and delete all of his like I did hands.

And it just wasn't Safe others to a lesser degree made me feel unwelcome. Not Rikki though - she is a sweetheart.

I know this is a long comment - maybe not as long as a Alan post but long for me.

Just let me leave it with in the end I have to be true to myself but I am sorry I let my temper get the best of me. I do know who my friends are and who the enemy.

I was thinking about going off the grid for awhile and I saw this as the right time.

No hard feelings on my part.

You all take care and continue to fight the conservative revolution.

  39. KTT does this mean you won't beat me up at the next summit? But nice to read your comment, everyone out here know you were right and yes even my wife agrees you were right. 41. KTT, I understand the desire to go off-grid for awhile. Nonetheless, when you return, please show up here. You're a friend and I had a great time with you at Truckhenge. And at the next Truckhenge, show up. It isn't really on-grid.

People wonder why I so rarely blog. It is a hell of a lot more difficult than it looks. Thinking up the right topic, then presenting it properly. And some of yours, KTT, were among the best.

    ReplyDelete
  42. KTT, I appreciate your comments. I too am sorry for reacting the way I did. Sometimes when you feel like a friend has been wronged you react quickly instead of waiting it out. That's a good thing most of the time, but sometimes not.

I think we both misread the other ones intentions and perceptions and reacted too quickly. That happens sometimes, especially in this emotionally charged environment. Then it heats up quick.

I think I react like that around here in part because of what happened on the urinal. Getting booted off there because buttstash found my posts "personally offensive" has made me a little reactive to that phrase. And to have to listen to him gloat about it for a month as well as get other posts pulled and phrases banned for the same reason just left that nerve raw.

So I hope we can put it behind us. You still have a voice people need to hear. So let's just leave it that we're all friends and move ahead from there. Can that work?

  58. Response to the idiot that got his post pulled concerning the conceal carry issue in California..........

Your post is very very mildly relevant, and largely irrelevant. This primarily effects the state of California. The ninth circuit will ensure the rest of California will fall under liberal fears and agenda. Soon, castle doctrine and stand your ground laws will fall there too. But I certainly don't give a crap. California was lost long ago.
So be sure and understand what was posted above will effect state law, and will have no bearing on most of the United states. Some states may follow, true. But I still relish the fact that gun advocates, and particularly the gun lobby are one of the strongest organizations in the country. Remember sandy hook? Democraps couldn't get one piece of legislation to stick. Never will. Activist judges can be replaced, and laws relaxed again. Trumps election will ensure that SCOTUS will not rule federally. Besides that, the many state laws already standing are on my side.

  66. Well that is great I am Happy!! But let me say one thing I don't keep the side of the blogs open, I have about 5 windows open and I move around all day, back and forth, And that isn't counting mail and banking, so a little plain talk would help now and then.

  70. Most of the time I refuse to use that old clanking thing you call a computer. For mobile users it's bottom of the page, left hand side. Tablet or phone. My kids move around and do too much. I wouldn't be able to keep up with most things without mobile use.
Sarge, you need a tablet for Christmas. Trust me.
    And I gotta scram.
    My turn playing yard darts.....
    See what I mean?

  74. Me??? A contributor??? Didn't see that coming!

LOL. Looking forward to stirring it up. I guess Kevin figured since my comments were so long winded I might as well just do a blog once in a while. They will probably be shorter than my rants that pass as comments.
