Democrats just keep on losing...

So, what exactly do the anarchist loving leftists have to show for their efforts?

What exactly has their never-ending campaign of lies, deceit, hate and violence accomplished?

Not a damn thing.

Up until yesterday, the special election in Georgia was a "referendum on Donald Trump's popularity."

And that's the exact same thing they claimed about every one of this year's special elections in Montana, South Carolina, as well as the one we had right here in Kansas.

In each case they claimed it was their chance to prove to the American people just how unpopular President Trump has become after a year of non-stop attempts to destroy him.

As predicted, the talking heads of the Trump hating media are all going on today about how these races have all been close, so even though they've lost every single one of them, in their weird, twisted version of reality, it's still a victory.

That's about as useful as Hillary Clinton winning the popular vote.

Be sure to pick up your participation trophy on the way out the door.

Those of us on the winning side of history have been telling you America-hating misfits on the left that you're seriously over playing their hand.

But will you listen?

Will you hate mongers ever come up with a message worth listening to?

Oh, hell no.

You'll keep on trying to destroy President Trump with all this phony Russian bullshit.

You'll keep droning on with the ginned up and completely fake "Obstruction of Justice" crap you're currently all excited about.

You'll keep on pretending the violence and destruction being forced on this nation on your behalf doesn't exist.

And you'll just keep on losing.

How about it, Asshat, you still gloating?

Yeah, I didn't think so...

HaHA! If Ossoff B'Gosh had won, the Dems would be yelling LOUDLY about how this is such a tremendous backlash of ALL AMERICA against Trump!

Now, it'll probably be "Oh...this didn't really mean all that much. it was JUST a small special election. And besides...the racists came out in too great of numbers to keep Ossoff from winning. The entire country STILL HATES TRUMP!"

So, they bring in "a ringer", who lied with every sentence that he was fiscally-responsible and "shared their values", financed by the worst of the worst of the anti-American Socialist/Commie/Fascists from all over the world, spending a record amount of money...and he STILL lost!

I can't even understand why they allowed him to run. I guess liberals just love having immigrants from other places running things, huh?

Yep...they were polling, and panting and ranting about how they were SO SURE they had this one wrapped up...and it was all because of Trump! Watch in amusement as they all start doing their whirling-dervish dances trying to spin their way out of it.

Normally, I have empathy and some pity for severely mentally-ill people, but I find I can't muster-up a bit of either for today's liberals.

Love those numbskulls over on Kev's Urinal blog!

I just found an actual picture of a climatologist using her equipment:

    http://www.silicon.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/shutterstock_176346965.jpg

It's probably at LEAST as accurate as any and all of which the governments are funding. It it least has the possibilities of "the unknown" that it can consider.

"Computer modelling" can consider ONLY the data that has been input. To get a true database of factual data of the past, they would have to input every temp and weather condition of every hour of every day everywhere on Earth for the past, every solar activity, every volcanic eruption, every meteor crash, forestation/deforestation, every dinosaur emission, EVERYTHING from the past.

And, that STILL wouldn't be able to tell them what will happen in the future.

To do that, they would need to input every POSSIBLE scenario of any naturally-occuring disturbance, every reduction/increase of any possible human and animal activity, every possible variable of solar activity at any minute of any day in the future, every possible EVERYTHING!

Well...there will ALWAYS be something nobody EVER expected. ALWAYS. There will ALWAYS be something from the past that they overlooked or just got wrong.

And, it would take forever to even try to compile all that data, and even if THAT was possible, it would take forever to run "simulations", and what they would end up with using every past bit of data, and every bit of possible variables of the future?

They would end up with EVERY scenario, which means which they would end up with ZERO definitive confirmable certain proof that any one thing, or even a narrow range of anything, is going to happen.

All the supercomputers on the planet, linked together, sharing all the data and all the projected "possibilities" that anyone and everyone can even think of...will NEVER spit out a definitive "the science is settled" answer.

So, why are we trying to cripple our economy, and wasting billions of dollars a year on this "crystal ball climate change" nonsense? Especially, when it's always proving itself wrong...and always will?

    Oh, good grief!

"Capital-Journal panel discusses newspaper operations during truthfulness talk"

"Content that appears on the Opinion page of the print newspaper is generated independently."

And, here we see Matt Johnson contradict himself in one short sentence:

“We still approach issues objectively, even if it doesn’t seem entirely impartial,” Johnson said.

How can you be "objective", if you aren't "entirely impartial"?! That doesn't even make any sense! (Except, coming from a totally-non-objective, totally-partisan hack like him, it's "understandable" that he would utter something so inane.)

'One participant asked whether The Associated Press is considered reliable."

"Smith said the AP has “impeccable standards,” but also encouraged media consumers to scrutinize all of the information they encounter."

WELL...they have "impeccable standards"...(but, ssshhh....you really can't trust ANY of them...)!

No, what he is saying is that the AP DOES have "impeccable standards", but don't believe that they adhere to any of them. Which should be obvious to anyone.

“I think it’s great that people are becoming more skeptical of news, and I think I would encourage everybody to bring that scrutiny to whatever information you’re getting,” he said, “because I think that if you scrutinize all of your information the same way that you scrutinize the news in the newspaper, I think you’ll find that we rise above the rest.”

So...they are the turd that floats to the top, I guess?

"Quickly acknowledging mistakes also is a mark of a credible news organization, she noted. Accountability includes issuing corrections of any errors, she said."

Yep, bury the corrections in small print under the obits.

I still propose a "National Journalistics Standards" by our federal government. Entirely voluntary to join, and if you maintain a score, you may proudly display a logo, but the current "truthfulness score" must accompany it.

Anyone who does not wish to join and be monitored? Well, everyone will know not to trust them. Drop below a score level, you lose your 'credibility', and must re-earn it.

Additionally, ALL "corrections/retractions" MUST appear front page, bold, above the fold for several days, including Sunday. if televised/video media, must run a continuous "crawl" for a period of time, with the top "news story" the 'correction", and many short ones during commercials.

Time to get media back to "journalistic integrity".

Hey y'all, I've combed different newspaper stories across the continental US....

Just love the newspapers and media in their description of last night’s triumphant win for Karen Handel.

    http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-na-pol-georgia-house-race-20170620-htmlstory.html
LA Times: “ Democrats came up short Tuesday night in their costly bid to wrest control of a longtime GOP congressional seat in the suburbs north of Atlanta, losing a race the party had hoped would showcase deep Republican vulnerability in the Trump era.”

    https://lasvegassun.com/news/2017/jun/21/after-georgia-republicans-celebrating-dems-searchi/
Las Vegas Sun: “After Georgia, Republicans celebrating, Democrats searching”
“Republicans immediately crowed over winning a seat Democrats spent at least $30 million trying to flip. "Democrats from coast to coast threw everything they had at this race, and Karen would not be defeated," House Speaker Paul Ryan said in a statement.”

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/jun/20/karen-handel-defeats-jon-ossoff-georgia-race/
The Washington Times: “The high hopes Democrats had of striking a political blow to President Trump in the battle for Georgia’s open congressional seat were shattered Tuesday.”

    http://chicago.suntimes.com/news/house-race-in-georgia-finally-heads-to-voters-as-d-c-watches-closely/
The Chicago Sun-Times: “A special thanks to the president of the United States of America,” she said late Tuesday night as her supporters chanted, “Trump! Trump! Trump!”
It was Handel’s most public embrace of the man whose tenuous standing in this well-educated, suburban enclave made a previously safe Republican district close to begin with.”

    http://www.denverpost.com/2017/06/20/karen-handel-jon-ossoff-donald-trump-georgia-special-election/
From the Denver Post: “President Donald Trump’s hopes of steadying his presidency and his agenda on Capitol Hill were given a lift Tuesday when a Republican won a special congressional election in the Atlanta suburbs.”

And some diehard leftist newspaper headlines:

    http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/politics/ct-georgia-special-election-20170621-story.html
Chicago Tribune: “Analysis: Democrats may have lost the battle in Georgia. But they haven't lost the war.”

    http://www.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/article157303374.html
Kansas City Star: “Republican Karen Handel declared victory in Georgia's 6th Congressional District with a promise that she'll work to gain the confidence of voters who backed her Democratic opponent. But Handel's thank you to President Donald Trump in the same speech Tuesday night is unlikely to comfort backers of the Democrat who came to symbolize anti-Trump resistance.

    http://www.miamiherald.com/news/politics-government/article157305869.html
Miami Herald: “Democrats, reeling from Georgia loss, face 2018 reality check”
“Congressman John Lewis, before the votes were counted Tuesday, called Jon Ossoff’s candidacy “not just a campaign” but a “movement.”
Lewis and the rest of the Democratic Party were reminded a few hours later that movements can still lose elections.”
“This is not the outcome many of us were hoping for,” Ossoff told supporters during his concession speech. “But this the beginning of something much bigger than us.”

    https://www.dallasnews.com/news/local-politics/2017/06/21/special-elections-show-democrats-need-anti-trump-message-win-2018
Dallas News: “Special elections show Democrats need more than anti-Trump message to win in 2018” “It doesn’t matter how many times you toss Donald Trump’s name in the mix, or how intense the resistance is to the controversial president’s policies. Trying to win on other party’s turf is usually a losing proposition.”

They don't seem to have figured out that's what has cost them over 1,100 elections in the past six years. And the House, Senate and Presidency. And this endless seditious phony "resistance" bullshit is not working for them.

But I hope they keep it up. It's costing them every last scrap of power they ever hoped to have. And it just keeps getting worse. And they're too stupid to figure it out.

  12. I contend the godless left was absolutely correct. This was a referendum on President Donald Trump. They said it would be, and them changing their mind when they lost is typical behavior of losers. Losers lose. That's what they do. Then they try to make excuses why they lost, unable to figure out the hard truth. They're losers. That's why they lose all the time.

So anyway, this was a referendum. That's how they framed it. If you hate Donald Trump as much as us you'll vote for the democrat. Hollywood celebrities, Nancy Pelosi, all the godless democrat party said it. If you hate Donald Trump as much as we do you'll vote for the democrat,

So now they found out. Georgians don't hate Donald Trump as much as they do. So all they have left is to pretend they won even though they lost.

But you know what I always say, if that's all you got.........

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/jun/21/arkansas-bar-decide-potential-discipline-clinton/
“Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton escaped criminal charges last year but her legal troubles may not be over — the Arkansas state bar has promised a decision by next month on disciplinary action.
Ty Clevenger, a Texas lawyer, filed an attorney misconduct complaint last year against Mrs. Clinton in Arkansas accusing her of dishonest behavior and lying under oath in testimony to Congress.
In an email Wednesday, Michael E. Harmon, deputy director of the state bar’s office of professional conduct, told Mr. Clevenger he’s still working the matter.
“It is my hope to have something to you by the middle of July at the latest,” Mr. Harmon wrote.
Mrs. Clinton’s ability to practice law in Arkansas has been suspended for her failure to keep up on continuing education requirements, but it could be reinstated.
Mr. Clevenger is also asking for discipline in other venues against Mrs. Clinton’s lawyers during the email fiasco: David Kendall, Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson. His initial complaints in Maryland were blocked, but he’s sued to compel an investigation.”

  17. Cemetery Watchman
My friend Kevin and I are volunteers at a national cemetery in Oklahoma and put in a few days a month in a 'slightly larger' uniform. Today had been a long, long day and I just wanted to get the day over with and go down to Smokey's and have a cold one. Sneaking a look at my watch, I saw the time, 16:55. Five minutes to go before the cemetery gates are closed for the day. Full dress was hot in the August sun. Oklahoma summertime was as bad as ever--the heat and humidity at the same level--both too high.

I saw the car pull into the drive, '69 or '70 model Cadillac Deville, looked factory-new. It pulled into the parking lot at a snail's pace. An old woman got out so slow I thought she was paralyzed; she had a cane and a sheaf of flowers--about four or five bunches as best I could tell.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I couldn't help myself. The thought came unwanted, and left a slightly bitter taste: 'She's going to spend an hour, and for this old soldier, my hip hurts like hell and I'm ready to get out of here right now!' But for this day, my duty was to assist anyone coming in.

Kevin would lock the 'In' gate and if I could hurry the old biddy along, we might make it to Smokey's in time.

I broke post attention. My hip made gritty noises when I took the first step and the pain went up a notch. I must have made a real military sight: middle-aged man with a small pot gut and half a limp, in marine full-dress uniform, which had lost its razor crease about thirty minutes after I began the watch at the cemetery.

I stopped in front of her, halfway up the walk. She looked up at me with an old woman's squint.

' Ma'am, may I assist you in any way? '

She took long enough to answer.

    ReplyDelete
  19. ' Yes, son. Can you carry these flowers? I seem to be moving a tad slow these days. '

' My pleasure, ma'am. ' (Well, it wasn't too much of a lie.)

She looked again. ' Marine, where were you stationed? '

    ' Vietnam, ma'am. Ground-pounder. '69 to '71. '

She looked at me closer. ' Wounded in action, I see. Well done, Marine. I'll be as quick as I can. '

    I lied a little bigger: ' No hurry, ma'am. '

She smiled and winked at me. ' Son, I'm 85-years-old and I can tell a lie from a long way off. Let's get this done. Might be the last time I can do this. My name's Joanne Wieserman, and I've a few Marines I'd like to see one more time. '

' Yes, ma 'am. At your service. '

    ReplyDelete
  20. She headed for the World War I section, stopping at a stone. She picked one of the flower bunches out of my arm and laid it on top of the stone. She murmured something I couldn't quite make out. The name on the marble was Donald S. Davidson, USMC: France 1918 .

She turned away and made a straight line for the World War II section, stopping at one stone. I saw a tear slowly tracking its way down her cheek. She put a bunch on a stone; the name was Stephen X. Davidson, USMC, 1943 .

She went up the row a ways and laid another bunch on a stone, Stanley J.Wieserman, USMC, 1944 .

She paused for a second and more tears flowed. ' Two more, son, and we'll be done '

I almost didn't say anything, but, ' Yes, ma'am. Take your time. '

She looked confused. ' Where's the Vietnam section, son? I seem to have lost my way. '

I pointed with my chin. ' That way, ma'am '

'Oh!' she chuckled quietly. ' Son, me and old age ain't too friendly. '

She headed down the walk I'd pointed at. She stopped at a couple of stones before she found the ones she wanted. She placed a bunch onLarry Wieserman, USMC, 1968 , and the last on Darrel Wieserman, USMC, 1970 . She stood there and murmured a few words I still couldn't make out and more tears flowed.

' OK, son, I'm finished. Get me back to my car and you can go home. '

Yes, ma'am. If I may ask, were those your kinfolk? '

She paused. ' Yes, Donald Davidson was my father, Stephen was my uncle,Stanley was my husband, Larry and Darrel were our sons. All killed in action, all Marines. '

She stopped. Whether she had finished, or couldn't finish, I don't know. She made her way to her car, slowly and painfully.

I waited for a polite distance to come between us and then double-timed it over to Kevin, waiting by the car.

' Get to the 'Out' gate quick. I have something I've got to do. '

Kevin started to say something, but saw the look I gave him. He broke the rules to get us there down the service road fast. We beat her. She hadn't made it around the rotunda yet.

' Kevin, stand at attention next to the gatepost. Follow my lead. ' I humped it across the drive to the other post.

When the Cadillac came puttering around from the hedges and began the short straight traverse to the gate, I called in my best gunny's voice: 'TehenHut! Present Haaaarms! '

I have to hand it to Kevin; he never blinked an eye--full dress attention and a salute that would make his DI proud.

She drove through that gate with two old worn-out soldiers giving her a send-off she deserved, for service rendered to her country, and for knowing duty, honor and sacrifice far beyond the realm of most.

I am not sure, but I think I saw a salute returned from that Cadillac.

Instead of ' The End ,' just think of ' Taps. '

As a final thought on my part, let me share a favorite prayer: ' Lord, keep our servicemen and women safe, whether they serve at home or overseas. Hold them in your loving hands and protect them as they protect us. '

Let's all keep those currently serving and those who have gone before in our thoughts. They are the reason for the many freedoms we enjoy.

    'In God We Trust.'

Sorry about your monitor; it made mine blurry too!

If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under!

You are required to pass this on NOW!!

  28. Here we go again, with that "equitable" school funding farce:

    http://cjonline.com/news/local/2017-06-21/kelly-special-legislative-session-not-likely-school-finance

"We don’t have to come in for a special session. The only thing that could drag us into a special session is if they find some of the provisions are inequitable.”

The Kansas Constitution does NOT specify "equitable funding" for K-12, so the schools and courts cannot claim it "unconstitutional according to the Kansas Constitution".

    http://www.kssos.org/other/pubs/KS_Constitution.pdf

    "Article 6.—EDUCATION"

    "§ 6. Finance.
    (a) The legislature may levy a permanent tax for the use and benefit of state institutions of higher education and apportion among and appropriate the same to the several institutions, which levy, apportionment and appropriation shall continue until changed by statute. Further appropriation and other provision for finance
of institutions of higher education may be made by the legislature.
(b)The legislature shall make suitable provision for finance of the educational interests of the state. No tuition shall be charged for attendance at any public school to pupils required by law to attend such school, except such fees or supplemental charges as may be authorized by law. The legislature may authorize the state board of regents to establish tuition, fees and charges at institutions under its supervision."

There is nothing in the Kansas Constitution that specifies "equitable funding for all public schools". There are a few other sections which specify that the Legislature is directly-responsible for the Education budget, both K-12 and "higher learning" public schools, but nothing that gives activist courts the authority to meddle with the budget.

If they are using 6(a)as their reference, it specifically refers ONLY to "institutes of HIGHER LEARNING", ie, colleges and universities to "apportion among and appropriate the same to the several institutions". And, I question the use of "the same" even in that sentence.

Does "the same" mean "the same amount proportionately, as in size of school, number of students, etc.? Or, is "the same" referring specifically to the "permanent tax", itself? As may have been written "apportion among and appropriate the TAX to the several institutions", but still no "equitable"?

As far as I know from viewing several current official Kansas websites, this is the current Constitution. if anyone can find anything in that entire document that refers to "equitable funding amongst the K-12 public schools", please share it?

"Adequate" (or "suitable") is one argument, and worthy of discussion and debate.

"Equitable" is quite another. If nobody can find a proper reference to it in the Kansas Constitution, then it shouldn't even be allowed to be part of any lawsuit heard by any Kansas court. Especially, not the Kansas Supreme Court, whose function it is to decide Kansas Constitutional matters.

    ReplyDelete
  29. It would be nice if the one above was poofed over to that specific story comments section. Sick of hearing about "equitable funding", when I believe nothing exists to consider it in a legal way.

  31. OH...here we go from the "non-partisan, objective editors" of the Urinal!

"Editorial: Housing is far too expensive
Americans making minimum wage don’t have enough money to afford a place to live"

“The units are priced reasonably. We have too many households who cannot afford to enter the housing market because of their very low incomes. The answer is not to build more units; the answer is to raise the incomes.” This is one of many reasons why Sen. Laura Kelly, D-Topeka, was right when she said a conversation about the minimum wage in our state is “long overdue.”

Well...the way to "raise the incomes" is to work to acquire the skills that will lift a person out of being even barely able to be qualified for a "no-education, no-skills minimum-wage job".

"Low-income Kansans shouldn’t have to worry about whether they’ll have enough money to pay rent on top of all their other expenses, and we hope lawmakers will be ready to discuss the issue when the Legislature convenes next year."

Of course not! the Dems' solution is to (naturally) FORCE EVERYONE ELSE to pay for people with no ambition, and who want everything for nothing!

  36. A good sign of the bias on that other website are the stories they choose to ignore.

See anything about yesterday's terrorist attack in Flint Michigan?

    Yeah, I didn't think so...

    http://www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/article/Motorcyclist-detained-for-driving-at-protestors-11237466.php

Anti Trump folks protesting the Trumpcare bill while in the streets of San Francisco they called their protest a ‘die in’ – a motorcyclist rode through them – gets arrested. When he went through the first time, he then went through a second time…. That wasn’t right, but the anti Trump idiots should not have been in the streets either.

  50. Just came from the "terlit" and Ash's drivel on the Thomas blog...that one is following a dark path. He was defending Soros, of all people. I told him he should look up the history of that one...cannot believe he is so utterly clueless about how old spooky dude uses his billions and the despair and destruction he's wrought in bringing down other countries yet has never been held accountable. Even Putin kicked him out of Russia for heaven's sake. Evil incarnate...
