‘Worse Than Watergate’: ‘Shocking’ House Intel Memo Allegedly Reveals FISA Abuse by Senior DOJ and FBI Officials

by KRISTINA WONG18 Jan 20186,005

Members of the House on Thursday said they viewed a “shocking” classified memo allegedly detailing abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) by senior Justice Department and Federal Bureau of Investigations officials in relation to the investigation of the Trump campaign and called for it to be declassified and available to the public immediately.

“It’s troubling. It is shocking,” Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) told Fox News. “Part of me wishes that I didn’t read it because I don’t want to believe that those kinds of things could be happening in this country that I call home and love so much.”
“The facts contained in this memo are jaw-dropping and demand full transparency. There is no higher priority than the release of this information to preserve our democracy,” saidRep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), a member of the Judiciary Committee, which oversees the DOJ and the FBI.
Another Judiciary Committee member, Rep. Steve King (R-IA), called what he saw in the memo “sickening” and said it was “worse than Watergate.”

I have read the memo. The sickening reality has set in. I no longer hold out hope there is an innocent explanation for the information the public has seen. I have long said it is worse than Watergate. It was & .

Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), another Judiciary Committee member,  called the memo “deeply troubling” and said it raises questions about the “Obama DOJ and Comey FBI.”
“The classified report compiled by House Intelligence is deeply troubling and raises serious questions about the upper echelon of the Obama DOJ and Comey FBI as it relates to the so-called collusion investigation,” he tweeted.

The classified report compiled by House Intelligence is deeply troubling and raises serious questions about the upper echelon of the Obama DOJ and Comey FBI as it relates to the so-called collusion investigation.

“You think about, ‘is this happening in America or is this the KGB?’ That’s how alarming it is,” Rep. Scott Perry (R-VA) told Fox News.
“It is so alarming the American people have to see this,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), a senior member of the Judiciary Committee, also said to network.
The viewing of the memo came after all Republican members of the House intelligence committee, whose investigators compiled the classified memo, voted Thursday to make it available to all House members. Every Democrat on the committee voted against it.
According to Gaetz, the memo’s contents could lead to the firing — and perhaps even jailing — of senior DOJ and FBI officials.
“I think that this will not end just with firings. I believe there are people who will go to jail,” he said on Fox News’ Hannity.
He said what he saw in the memo also explains why Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Judiciary Subcommittee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) recently referred the Fusion GPS dossier author Christopher Steele for a criminal investigation.
“I think there will be criminal implications here,” Gaetz added.
The memo also reportedly contains information about the dossier put together by Fusion GPS that alleged Trump and members of his team colluded with Russians in the 2016 election, according to a report by investigative journalist Sara Carter.
It was revealed in October that the dossier was funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. Despite being a political document, the dossier was reportedly part of the evidence FBI officials used to apply for and obtain a warrant through a secret FISA court to spy on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
Page told Breitbart News in a statement: “After over a year of inciting discord and threats of violence across America, it’s encouraging that the individuals in Washington responsible for these efforts to undermine our great democracy may be held accountable soon.”
Breitbart News reported on March 3, 2016, that the Obama administration took steps to undermine Trump’s presidential campaign using “police state” tactics, including spying on the Trump campaign. That report is widely believed to have led to President Trump’s tweet that later accused the Obama administration of wiretapping Trump Tower.
Members of the public and Congress are now calling for the document to be declassified and released to the public.

Immediately & ALL relevant material sourced in it. Every American needs to know the truth! We wouldn't be revealing any sources & methods that we shouldn't; only feds' reliance on bad sources & methods.

DeSantis said the House intelligence committee, pursuant to House rules, should vote to make the report publicly available as soon as possible.
“While the report is classified as Top Secret, I believe the select committee should, pursuant to House rules, vote to make the report publicly available as soon as possible. This is a matter of national significance and the American people deserve the truth,” he said.
“Rule X of the House Rules allows the select committee to publicly disclose any information in its possession after a determination by the select committee that the public interest would be served by such disclosure.”
According to House Rules, if the House intelligence committee votes to make the report public, President Trump would have five days to issue an objection. If he objected, it would take a vote on the House floor.

Looks like this FISA crap may be worse than thought. Remember this has been going on a long time, all 8 years of obama. Then here is what the Demons said:

The vote Thursday morning on releasing the memo to lawmakers was along party lines, with Democrats voting against making it available for all members.

Seems the Demons are hiding something that they don't even want other law makers to see.

Yes...Watching last night on Hannity, Ingel, and Tucker, it looks like the shit is really going to start hitting the fan with the "Real Russia Scandal" It is getting deeper and deeper, and closer and closer to Obama, Clinton, Rosenstein, Comey, McCabe, and those two idiots having the affair. They are saying jobs may or should be lost, some should have been fired long ago, criminal acts and possible jail time for many! We will see! The Dems of course are resisting having the information made public, as the Repubs are wanting to do! Rosenstein was in pleading with Paul Ryan not to let it go public! I knew from the beginning that he was/is a rat! Don't know why Trump supported him and why Sessions did not get rid of him right at first! Anyway, it is starting to get good! I can't wait to hear the excuses from the loyal Liberal whiners on the Urinal! LOL!

  5. We know we are in trouble with people like this if true.

I got a call from a Kansas Congressman's (Moore) staffer (Howard Bauleke), who wanted to go to Cape town. I started to explain the length of the flight and the passport information, and then he interrupted me with, ''I'm not trying to make you look stupid, but Cape town is in Massachusetts.'' Without trying to make him look stupid, I calmly explained, ''Cape Cod is in Massachusetts, Cape town is in Africa.'' His response -- click

  6. I believe the shit just got introduced to the fan. Old Safe told you a while back it was about to get real. This is just the beginning. Remember, Watergate started with a third rate burglary and ended with a President resigning in disgrace. And they didn't even accomplish anything. They didn't get any information, they didn't do anything that had any effect on the election. And this was a bunch of criminals aptly named CREEP. No involvement by the government. That was unthinkable back then.

This one involves the President of the United States and his party, the democrat/communist party weaponizing the DOJ and the FBI, creating a phony document with assistance from Russian intelligence agencies then using that phony document to get FISA warrants to spy on the duly elected President of the United States with the intent to overthrow the election. This is what's known as a Coup d'état, or a coup. Defined as "a type of revolution, where the illegal and overt seizure of a state by the military or other elites within the state apparatus occurs". This is the very definition of it.

This involves Comey, Holder, Clinton, the democrat/communist party and all the way up to the Kenyan.

This is going to get very very ugly. The press is going to try to tamp this down. The democrat/communist party is going to go crazy trying to distract and divert from the unfolding exposure of their traitorous seditious attempt to unseat a President, but it will not matter.

Somebody once said you can't fool all of the people all of the time. I know there are hyper partisan communist sympathizers out there by the millions, the commies have always depended on easily fooled stupid people who they can manipulate into supporting them. They even have a name for them. Useful Idiots.

But this steamroller isn't stopping. This one is going to hurt. This one may wipe out the democrat/communist party for generations. And good riddance to bad rubbish I say.

Let's watch this one and have a few laughs. This is going to be good. I know the high ground would be to feel bad for them. But these seditious bastards are trying to steal my country. And I want it back, and them in Leavenworth.

Would take nerves of steel for me to play nice with the likes of a Rosenstein but look at the results...begging Paulie to save him. But what better trap to lay for them...keep 'em close and watch what they may do or say, if possible. And Sessions appeared on fox @ night, talking about the immigration mess mostly, but that man looked rested and was as cheerful as I've seen in awhile.

  14. Here's a bit of good news y'all:

"Democrats fail in impeachment vote hours before shutdown"

    https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/jan/19/dems-fail-impeachment-vote-hours-shutdown/

The House easily defeated an effort Friday to try to begin impeachment proceedings against President Trump, with even most Democrats joining the GOP in shooting down the attempt.

The vote came just hours before Senate Democrats were expected to lead a filibuster that could result in a government shutdown at midnight.

Lawmakers voted 355-66 to table the impeachment effort. That’s similar to the last such vote a month ago, which was tabled on a 364-58 tally.

Rep. Al Green, Texas Democrat, has introduced articles of impeachment, accusing the president of bigotry.

But Democratic leaders have tamped down on the push for impeachment, saying it’s the wrong move.
    ____________

Rm 235 Folks…. every time that someone in Congress tried to bring impeachment proceedings against President Trump, each of those times has been defeated.

    1. They do not have just cause.
    2. There is no Russian collusion.
    3. President Trump is in good health and of sound mind.

President Trump has kept campaign promises, exposed the crooked biased media for what it is, and he just keeps on winning even though the biased media says otherwise.

It’s nice to actually have an American President with the back bone and guts to say what has been long needed to be said in Washington and abroad.

“Trump vows to stay in D.C. until shutdown stopped, ready to cancel Florida weekend”

    https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/jan/19/donald-trump-vows-stay-dc-until-shutdown-stopped-r/

President Trump will cancel a planned weekend in Florida and won’t leave Washington until a spending bill is passed to stop a government shutdown, White House officials said.

The Senate is scheduled to vote Friday on a stopgap spending bill ahead of a midnight deadline for a partial government shutdown, but Senate Democrats have vowed to reject the bill over their demands for amnesty for illegal immigrant “Dreamers.”

Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer, New York Democrat, said his party has enough votes to sink the bill.

The president had planned to travel in the afternoon to Palm Beach, Florida, to spending the weekend at his Mar-a-Lago Club.

“The president will remain in D.C. until we pass a government funding measure,” a White House official said.

The House passed the stopgap bill or continuing resolution Thursday night in a near party-line vote. All but six of the chamber’s 193 Democrats voted no.

The stopgap bill keeps the government open through Feb. 16 and extends the Children’s Health Insurance Program for six years. But it doesn’t include a fix to Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals or DACA, an Obama-era temporary amnesty set to expire in March for “Dreamers,” illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children.

The program is clear, but the athletic dept messed up managing the players. It's handled away from coaches, so as to prevent violations that could seriously damage things.

And let's be honest. It happens everywhere. Don't think for one minute it doesn't. These universities make a lot of dollars on the backs of the kids. Right or wrong, it happens.

Yes these kids get an education,if they stick to it. The highly talented ones may not complete it. But it's sort of a symbiotic deal where the student may get something, but the university gets big bucks for asses in seats and TV deals. At no point do I beleive they should be paid, but I refuse to beleive the institution doesn't profit from them as do the handlers agents etc...
