Well, well, well, look who's begging us to come back...

After a year of vicious, non-stop attacks on President Trump and those of us who support him, the drug infested sexual perverts of Hollywood are finally realizing that alienating such a huge swath of the American public has been a really stupid business strategy.

After a year's worth of turning every single one of their self-important, pompous awards shows into another chance to bash the president while their ratings tanked as millions of Americans completely tuned them out they're finally paying attention.

The producers of this year's Oscars promise to put on a more entertaining and less political show.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/27506/oscars-producers-plan-cut-out-politics-should-be-paul-bois

Wow, have these self-righteous, drug infested, Hollywood hypocrites had a sudden change of heart?

Of course not, it's all about the money.

They still hate us.

They still think they're better than we are.

But unless we turn loose of our hard earned dollars to watch the crappy movies they're putting out they can't live the extravagant and pampered lifestyles they believe they're entitled to.

Screw em.

It's not just the awards shows begging us to come back either.

Individual actors and actresses have gotten in on the groveling as well.

Take The Hunger Games starlet, Jennifer Lawrence for instance.

I read all the books in the series and watched every one of the Hunger Games movies and thought she did a phenomenal job.

And if she'd just kept her big mouth shut I'd probably still be a big fan.

But she just couldn't do that.

She joined in with the rest of her buddies and bashed Trump every time she got in front of a camera.

But now that she has a new movie coming out she's decided she wants to play nice.

Actually, she wants us to forget about everything she's said during the last year and go see her movie.

"The democrats made a huge mistake by chastising Trump supporters, and that was disgusting to me." -- Jennifer Lawrence

"I've always thought it was a good idea to stay out of politics. 25% of America identifies as liberal and I need more than 25% of America to go see my movies." --  Jennifer Lawrence

Well Sweetheart, maybe if you'd followed your first instincts, stayed out of politics and focused on entertaining us your career might not be blowing up in your face.

I'm just saying...

  3. Yhep I haven't been to a movie in ?? and don't really plan on it. And the same for their TV. The way to get the message across to them is to hit them where it will hurt them the most. Right in the ole rear end That's the only thing these people fear from us. And don't forget the gun show this weekend .I am going Sunday morning as usual. Maybe hook up with any one. Not another until July I think. It might be a cluster though.

  7. So in an openly disingenuous and opportunistic move, Dick's Sporting Goods announces they will stop selling rifles they actually stopped selling six years ago. So they're lying hypocrites.

So, first of all, who the hell goes to Dicks Sporting Goods anyway?

Second, buy your guns from reputable dealers. There are many small businesses dedicated to selling weapons. And gun shows as well, just know what you're doing when you go there.

Third, what the hell? You call yourselves a sporting goods store and you stop selling what is probably the most popular gun sold? The modern sporting rifle? And are you going to stop selling all semi automatic rifles? Or just the ones that look scary and frighten the godless left wing snowflakes? And shouldn't a sporting goods store know the difference?

So go buy an AR-15 because fuck these people.

  8. But sell you stock in Dick's Sporting Goods, because it's going down.

  9. Hollywood and all of their political activist bullcrap ruined movies for me a long time ago. For decades, we barely heard politics from them; after McCarthy they seemed to get quiet. Then Jane Fonda came along, but the rest kept their distance somewhat. But on recent years they can't keep their mouths shut about anything and finally they wore this movie fan out. Rarely watch one these days and Oscars? Pp0ffftttt!!

  10. As to Dick's....their CEO named the problem and didn't even realize it. In his audio clip announcement, played on Beck this morning, he said "a systemic failure"...

    YA THINK???

    Failure of a government system.
In a county in which the likes of Debbie Washerwoman Schultz has been a resident for some 30 years. What's that tell ya?

  12. Well, I think we are going to get screwed and lose some gun rights, it will just be another little slice until some day, nothing left ion the bread sack. Here is why I think that, old Donald Trump said he believes 18 years old should not be able to buy a rifle, per his quote- "White House proposal will include raising the minimum age for buying long guns to 21 from 18".

Trump is also expected to encourage states to create laws for extreme-risk protective orders, which would allow parents and law enforcement to petition courts to take weapons away from anyone threatening to harm themselves or others. Now on surface that sounds okay, but we know how well the FISA safety checks have worked. This will really allow LEO and the old good buddy judge to do as they please, just like the FISA/LEO did on Trump.

The president said Wednesday he will get rid “bump stocks,” saying they will “be gone shortly.” Like come on bump stocks are not killers!

Trump told House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La.,concealed carry reciprocity proposal desired by Republicans isn't going to pass. This is crap, it is really a pain to read up on each state you pass through while traveling! Even just driving through some state and not stopping (on purpose) like Illinois can get you in trouble.

Damn government is always reactive to whiners and never proactive to common sense.

  13. What they should do is lower the age for all gun's to 18, and put a restriction on the one rifle they are all whining about the AR 15 to the age of 21 and that weapon only.

  14. I would let them do the 21 year old IF they let any one in the military have a or ex military have them and any gun. Going to fight and die for your country but not allowed to own a gun just doesn't make any sense to me. Kind of like the drinking age was and voting age.

  15. The answer is unequivocally NO from me. Not one inch from me. I don't believe in giving up any rights or rights to property for these bleeding hearts.

Now bump stocks, trigger cranks etc... I dont care about. They provide no benefit to me. But that's just me.

Most importantly I want to see those that dont uphold the oath they swore to prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Like deputies who wont or dont protect... Or an FBI too busy looking for a Russian unicorn rather than looking into verified and reported public threats. There lies the fault for the blood of the children.

  16. True, I never did understand that drink age being raised. That was a case of blackmail by the federal government, they told states they would lose 10% of federal highway dollars unless they raised the legal drinking age. Never did understand that as the states pay into the feds via gas tax.

So you can vote at 18, but no drinking and soon it might be no hunting rifles. But it is AOK to go out and get yourself shot up at 18 years old as long as it's for the government.

I wonder if they mean only buying or possession a long rifle?

Then remember this is what the Donald said, you know the Maxine Waters of the congress will want much more.

  18. I look at it like this, when I went to basic training, I started out on the M1 and to the M14 for a short period than to the M16 all before I was 19 years old. And that isn't counting the M60 and 50 cal machine gun's. How times have changed. Oh ya and had to pitch a few hand grenades.

  19. No bans under 21...including the AR15. Said to be amazingly accurate, lightweight and excellent for home defense. And what about the young woman at 18-20, living on her own? Such a law would leave her unable to defend herself if she wished to buy a firearm. Unless of course she found one on the black market...
And nary a word about plea bargains...getting some thug down to a wrist slap and back on the streets before the ink is dried on the cop's paperwork.
To say that I am dismayed with that conference and all involved is an understatement...and who defines what is or is not "mental illness"? Enhanced background checks? Does anybody serioysly think that some street criminal is going to buy his gun legally???

All of this, to me, is political bread and circuses.
    I ain't buyin' the ticket.

  20. The way I see it is that they can pass whatever law they want but other than making a few people feel good for a little it won't mean a damn thing.

Maybe they'll lay low on the schools for a while.

Maybe the next one happens to a daycare center, a public swimming pool, a city bus, etc.

The point is that laws are already on the books designed to stop this shit and we all know well that's working.

    Guns aren't the problem.

    People are...

  21. My following post is morbid. I'll apologize now....

What happens when someone figures out what kind of damage a sawed off shotgun with buck or a slug does in an enclosed environment like a school?

It would be far more devastating than an AR15.

So God forbid some crazy leftwing nut figures this out.

Then they will want to ban your shotgun. That's why we can't allow any incremental intrusion on the second amendment.

    Not even one on age.

I understand some folks thinking if we give a little on age requirements, then things will calm down. They won't. They want all guns, and will do whatever it takes.

  23. Nasty damage from one of those...and once the lawyer/politicians start getting away with incrementalist moves here and there, what do you think will happen over time?

  24. I agree with the idea that if you are old enough to go to war and get your head shot off, then you are certainly qualified to come back home and buy a gun before you are 21, if you have a clean record and are discharged from the military honorably. I also don't think that it is fair, if say a young woman (or man) between the age of 18-20, is living on their own, maybe with a kid or two, and want to own a gun to protect them and their family, in their home, why should they be denied? I think there are exceptions to every rule, and could all be handled fairly, if common sense is used to make the rules and enforce them.

  25. As far as the movies and movie stars, I quote Cats, "Ppffftttt!!" My wife and I have been married going on 17 years and we have never gone to a movie during that time. Have rented several, but not for the 15 dollar price tag our son mentioned that a ticket cost now! Then of course add the couple of popcorns and cokes, for about 20-30 bucks.....I don't think so! Of course they want us to pay those prices so Barbra Streisand can afford to clone her dead dog, with two puppies that cost her 50,000 apiece! But hey, if you got it, why not?

  26. It is shameful how all these companies are jumping on the anti gun bandwagon. You think about it, these shameful companies control most of the economy as well as politicians and spend millions on lobbyists. So the end results is not a surprise who really controls the U.S.A. all behind the scene. Also, remember, nothing will happen all at once. We didn't get to this moral cesspool overnight, it starts out in baby steps and gains to sprinters. Look at the history on how the people of Australia woke up one day to find they lost their guns.
