James Comey. Should he be in prison instead of on TV?

My answer to that is yes. This man is a criminal. He has manipulated the justice system time and time again to attempt to sway an election, then to try to undermine and discredit a sitting President. He has done this because of his personal hatred of President Trump. He was fired for misconduct as head of the FBI, justifiably and deservedly. He lied, he provided disinformation (shades of communism) and he leaked government information to the press in the hope it would lead to the impeachment of our President.

I've been seeing excerpts of this idiot's interview from yesterday. He was interviewed by someone pretending to be a journalist, who is in fact a former hillary clinton staffer, who has supported her financially and is a hyper partisan democrat/communist operative imbedded within what used to pass for a news organization.

James Comey is a disgrace. And seeing him treated like a hero wrongfully fired is a disgrace. This man should be on trial for criminal activity, conspiracy, obstruction and attempting to interfere with an American election. Not paraded in front of the cameras as some kind of pitiful character done wrong by this evil President.

This is a great example of how far these people are willing to go. This is just one small blip on the radar screen of the reach of these people. How deep they reach into the government. How influential they are in the media. And how much ability they have to sow discord and lies and misinformation into the American mind.

This is like nothing America has ever seen.

Our founders knew the biggest threat to this great experiment called America would always be attack from within. We proved to the world that we were a force to be reckoned with from attack by outsiders. But they also knew that attack from within our country would be deadly. They tried to create a government that could withstand it. They tried to write a constitution that would prevent it. But they never anticipated anything like this.

We will survive this. These people are not the majority. They are the loudest. They do the most damage. They think they represent the majority of America. But they don't. The rest of us are busy working and living so we don't have time to wear funny hats and march around carrying stupid signs. And the majority of America is slowly catching on.

People just like this have tried to destroy our country from within for as long as we've been here. It's gotten a lot worse since WWII and the birth of Stalin's Russia and the communist movement. They may hide behind other names and faces but they are the same people. They hate America and they hate us.

But when this is all over, and America shakes off the dust and ashes of this anarchy, and all that is left is the dust and ashes of this movement to destroy our county history will record this time as one of the darkest periods in our history. The Civil War was one of those times. This will be remembered as another. Let's just hope it doesn't lead to that level of rebellion.

  1. Comey needs a one way ticket to jail....not to pass 'go' and not to pick up $200.

In reading the Washington Examiner this morning, I saw this:

"List: Obama’s 29 scandals and the media’s campaign to hide them"

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/washington-secrets/book-obamas-29-scandals-and-the-medias-campaign-to-hide-them-1

Was former President Obama the “scandal free,” top 10 greatest president he claimed to be as he exited the White House?

To his aides and most in the media, the answer has been a hearty “yes.”

The View’s Joy Behar said, “President Obama, for eight years, was completely scandal-free.” NBC’s Tom Brokaw said, “He’s been scandal free, frankly, in the White House. We haven’t had that what for a while.”

But now, to counter that legacy campaign, biographer Matt Margolis has penned a book detailing some 29 “scandals” under Obama in, “The Scandalous Presidency of Barack Obama.”

It reviews some of the bigger affairs, such as the Benghazi attacks, and littler ones, like his stonewalling of the media, in an effort to chip away at Obama’s stain-free legacy.

And it also details the ways the media sometimes played along -- or played dead -- in a pattern that has been flipped in the coverage of President Trump.

“Obama’s supporters in the media, academia, and the grassroots of the Democratic Party are invested in the idea that his presidency was an unparalleled success, and that he was the archetype of presidential ethics. Nothing could be further from the truth, as the following pages prove, but if they repeat their lies often enough, perhaps others will believe them,” wrote Margolis.

He also hopes that it keeps a focus on Obama’s administration and its effort to help 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton.

[Related: James Comey book: President Obama and Loretta Lynch 'jeopardized' the Hillary Clinton email investigation]

Asked to list the worst scandal under Obama, Margolis told Secrets, “There are many serious scandals, and therefore it’s hard to say which is the biggest scandal, but I believe Obama’s spying on the Trump campaign, which is starting to be fully unraveled now, will likely prove to be one of the biggest.”

But the media is also his target, said the the co-author of the critical best-seller, The Worst President in History: The Legacy of Barack Obama. “The purpose of the free press is to hold our elected leaders accountable, but they were asleep at the wheel during Obama’s two terms. Had they done their job during the Obama years, perhaps presidential historians and ‘experts’ wouldn’t be ranking Obama as a top-tier president,” he said.

“Many of Obama’s scandals covered in my book make Watergate look like a high school prank gone wrong by comparison. Yet, last year, the state of Illinois honored Obama by making his birthday a state holiday. Can you imagine if California had made Richard Nixon’s birthday a state holiday after he resigned from the presidency?” he added.

His publisher is Bombardier Books which also just published Fraud and Fiction: The Real Truth Behind Fire and Fury, from the Examiner’s Eddie Scarry. It shredded the anti-Trump book from Michael Wolff that was gobbled up by the mainstream media.

With that book, Margolis said the media is continuing with its history of treating Democratic and Republican presidents differently.
“The same people who treat Michael Wolff’s Fire and Fury as gospel despite it being discredited garbage are the same people who continue to dismiss Obama’s real scandals as much ado about nothing. If Donald Trump abuses his authority while in office he should be held accountable, but how can we have an honest conversation about corruption in government if we don’t hold our leaders to the same standards regardless of party?” he said.

  2. interesting how the biased media couldn't get enough of Hillary Clinton's "What Happened" and now doing the same with James Comey's "A Higher Loyalty".... but nothing about Matt Margolis' book "The Scandalous Presidency of Barack Obama"...

  4. First of all his stupid book is nothing more than another left wing hit piece.

    It contains nothing new.

It's just the ramblings of a bitter old man that's been kicked to the curb.

But it serves the purpose of keeping the shit stirred up.

And this is exactly the kind of shit we can expect 24 hours a day 7 days a week until the mid term elections in November.

Obama’s Justice Dept. feuded with FBI, agents quit as politics played a larger role.

Rm 235 folks, it sounds like things are going to get a lot messier than it has been in recent days. More finger pointing going on.

  7. Nothing will happen until it gets to the point of civil war and that won't be pretty. I would hope it wouldn't get there, but things are lining up for it. However, there is evil all around on both sides, but especially the left. Funny looking at some of the left wing posts, they are building an negative environment that will end up getting many people killed, just like they did in the past. It is as if they want this to happen? They are digging their own graves! They will lose. But if a civil war does break out, there will be others like China, Iran, Russia or others who will take advantage of the situation. Just think how easy of a task they would have if we were already in a full blown civil war. Could we survive this kind of scenario?

You study end times in the bible, you will find what are references to what could be Russia, Iraq, Rome or China in the final battle, but no mention of a country that suggest U.S.A. has any major role to play. Makes a person wonder if we even exist? You know this is a great country and still could be, but we haven't been around that long. Nations like Greece and Rome were great powers for much longer and because of corruption and moral decay, went to nothing. Could that be our future?

  8. Actually, there is a lot to use from the Comey situation.
True that he flails and fails at the right and his tales regarding Trump.

But his comments regarding Hillary emails, opening the investigation to ensure she didn't look like a "illegitimate" are DAMNING....

The whole situation, his interview and book are just a charade.
He's a crook just like his brother.

  15. Here’s something the Washington Times recently posted:

    https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/apr/17/donald-trump-is-winning-thats-why-the-lefts-unrave/

“Trump is winning – that’s why the left is unraveling”
By Cheryl K. Chumley - The Washington Times - Tuesday, April 17, 2018

    ANALYSIS/OPINION:

President Donald Trump rode into office on the wings, in part, of a promise to clean up the Deep State, drain the swamp and boot from places of influence those who’ve worked behind the scenes to undo America’s greatness, one unconstitutional usurpation at a time.

It must be working. How else to explain how nuts the left’s been acting of late?

Just look at James Comey and his “A Higher Loyalty” book. In it, he paints Trump as a liar, a mafia-esque leader — a man of small hands, a president who’s brought the country to “a dangerous time,” to an era “where basic facts are disputed, fundamental truth is questioned, lying is normalized and unethical behavior is ignored, excused or rewarded,” he wrote, according to published excerpts.

But peer past the words into the mind of the writer and it’s obvious: Here’s a guy who’s so ticked, who’s so pissed, who’s so filled with hate that he doesn’t even bother to filter. The rhetoric is unbefitting for a man of his supposed esteem — but apparently, he can’t help himself.

    The tizzy doesn’t stop there.

John Brennan, former Central Intelligence Agency director, unleashed similarly on his Twitter feed in recent times.

In one post, he wrote of Trump: “[Y]our self adoration is disgraceful.” In another, he predicted it wouldn’t be long before Trump’s “venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption” became known — and then, the president would assume his “rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history.”

That’s just a sampling of the vitriol. But again, unbefitting for a man of his supposed stature.

Let’s not forget the over-the-top FBI hit job against Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, and the constitutionally questionable raid of his private offices and files. The raid wasn’t conducted directly by Robert Mueller’s special counsel office, but rather through the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. But it gives a hint of desperation just the same. The harsh tactics used here, described by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich as Gestapo-like, combined with the failure of Mueller’s yearlong investigation to produce anything of value that points a Russia collusion charge back to the president, suggest the raid was in large part a play to anti-Trump press bias. After all, what says guilt more than a dramatic federal raid?

Just ask Paul Manafort, another victim of Gestapo-like early morning federal raid.

The anti-Trumpers are shaking in their wearing thin, Trump-stomping boots.

The powers-who-be who’ve been aligning against Trump since his election days are realizing his impeachment is not imminent, his days are not numbered, his promises to untangle and unravel the Deep State are coming true.

Truly, the left is losing it because Donald Trump is winning.

  16. Here's how the democrat/communists think. They have absolutely no principle to stand on, they just make it up as the situation requires.

When the FBI was investigating hillary's crimes against the country during the election they screamed bloody murder. Witch hunt! Political!

When Comey lied and overstepped his authority and announced he was letting her off scott free even though she was guilty as sin, the democrat/communists heaped praise on him. Proud to have him in charge. Proof that there was never anything to it. He's a devoted and dedicated public servant.

When he announced the investigation was reopened because they actually found more compelling evidence of her guilt, he became a pariah again. Crook! Political! He should be fired immediately!!!

When he got fired as they wanted, then suddenly he was a victim of the evil Donald Trump. Obstruction! Cover up! Dirty politics.

So now he's the spokesman for the rebellion. He's the greatest guy ever. Truth telling and saving America from Donald Trump.

Even though crooked hillary and the democrat/communists blamed him for her losing because of his reopening the investigation, because now he's joined their cause he's their newest hero.

So he causes her to lose, but now he's trying to unseat the guy who beat her so they love him.

That's how anchored to any principles the democrat/communist party is. They just blow wherever the wind blows them.

  17. I see the left is starting to put up billboards saying, "Tax breaks, what did you get?". The common guy with common smarts knows those breaks come next time you file, not this year.
    Purpose for the tactics?
    Midterms. Sneaky tactics.

That's all I got today, and lunch is over. At least I got one today.

    Later peeps.

And good to see the radar is up and running sarge. Not normal for to be absent. Just ain't right. Glad you returned and didn't give up... Lol

So thanks for paying for my health insurance Mr. President. The Kenyan only wanted me to pay for somebody else's insurance.

So much winning I'm almost tired of winning!

  21. No conflict of interest here!

The federal judge presiding over the Michael Cohen case finds herself at the center of one of the toughest legal brawls of the Trump era -- but District Judge Kimba Wood is no stranger to the spotlight.

She has a colorful and potentially controversial past that could arise as the case involving President Trump's personal attorney moves forward. Trump allies were quick to note that Wood once was considered for attorney general by then-President Bill Clinton -- and she even officiated the wedding of left-wing billionaire George Soros.

  25. Still Safe At Home writes the following profoundly perceptive comment :

“This is like nothing America has ever seen.”

    Not only is the comment brilliant, it expresses a widely held belief. For instance, consider Comey’s comments;

“"I just think they've lost their way and I can't be associated with it," Comey said in an interview on the adding that he no longer considers himself a Republican.

"I see the Republican Party, as near as I can tell, reflects now entirely Donald Trump's values," Comey told host Brad Mielke. "It doesn't reflect values at all. It's transactional, it's ego-driven, it's in service to his ego. And it's, I think, consoling itself that we're going to achieve important policy goals -- a tax cut or something."

    Then, none other than George F. Will, another ex-Republican and highly regarded scholar on both sides of the aisle weighs in;

“Privately, many presidential historians would likely agree: It’s been a while since we’ve had a more disreputable, obnoxious person in the Oval Office, nor anyone so manifestly unfit for the job.” Conservative columnist George Will has called Trump “the nation’s worst president.”
He adds, “It’s been a while since we’ve had a more disreputable, obnoxious person in the Oval Office, nor anyone so manifestly unfit for the job.”
“But it’s not so much Trump’s policies or politics that confound experts, it’s his stunning ignorance of the issues, his apparent unwillingness to listen and learn, his lack of any experienced, substantive advisors and his totally unstructured, seat-of-the-pants decision-making process. Under Trump’s lack of leadership, the White House is in total meltdown.”

And yet, SSAH adds this classic line “We will survive this. These people are not the majority.”. Is that right? …. Well, if you’re leaning on Rasmussen for your polling data, you should know it is highly conservative and skews consistently higher for Republicans than the average of nearly all pollsters. Gallup is far more respected. So what does Gallup say ?
    From April 13, 2018,

“WASHINGTON, D.C. -- President Donald Trump's favorable rating, already low by historical standards, has dropped to 38% -- while his unfavorable rating is at 59%.”

But then SSAH overlooks the fact that the “majority” did not vote for Trump. It voted for Clinton by a margin of three million votes.

Here is the Gallup link. You should be concerned. Very concerned.
