Beef and Boodle Friday...

Sorry Rose, I just couldn't help myself.

Anyone interested in taking a break from politics?

I know I am.

I came across a story on Facebook the other day that just cracked me up.

The article never does get around to naming the man involved so I've decided to name him "Tom."

I'm not going to go on and on about it other than to say this husband and wife deserved each other.

"A 52-year old man in Salina, Kansas was taken by surprise after a prostitute he hired through a website turned out to be his own wife of the past 19 years.
The man had been using the site for some months to hire prostitutes and meet them for sex at motels in neighboring areas. Last weekend, the man told his wife he was going out drinking with work colleagues, when in reality he was travelling to a motel on the outskirts of town.
Upon checking into the motel the man used his phone to access his regular website used to book prostitutes. According to a statement he made to authorities, he saw the profile of a new “27-year old” woman who caught his attention.
The photo only showed the woman from her neck down, but the man said he liked her body so he sent her a message to see if she was free later that night. She said she was, and they arranged for a liaison at the motel.
Guests in adjoining rooms called the front desk to report a disturbance at around 8 pm after the woman arrived and found that her client was none other than her husband of the last 19 years.
It emerged that the prostitute was actually the man’s 43-year old wife. She was furious to learn her husband had been hiring sex workers, although he was equally angry to learn his wife had been freelancing as a prostitute."
Good grief.
Anyway, you guys enjoy your weekend.
Stay safe and like always be well...
Oh yeah, here's a video I've selected for you viewing pleasure.

  2. Ha, ha. That was funny. But I must say, the beef and boodles turned out pretty good. I'm starting to cool heavier foods, I guess it is because fall is around the corner. Actually I think it is because I am sick of salads and cold foods.

My spelling has been pretty bad lately. I have trigger thumb and so I peck at the keyboard with one finger. My thumb hurts like heck and I can't get into see my doctor until Sept 14th. At least I have an excuse. For the time being. Now get this. I am wearing an ugly black thumb brace and people come up to me and ask if I hurt my hand. I just look at them, shake my head back and forth and tell them nope and wait for them to ask me another question. One person sitting across from me at a restaurant held up his black thumb brace and smiled at me and acted like we had known each other for years. I just held up my margarita like I was giving him a toast. My husband asked if I knew him. I said nope. Weird.

  8. And back to yesterday's conversation about the newest buzzword "IMPEACHMENT."

Now you know where they get their talking points...

  9. Good Morning -

had my mugs worth of Vanilla Caramel flavored coffee with cream - yummy. Thinking of all this food makes me think of the following:

sizzling bacons, when bacons are done, put some diced potatoes in the bacon grease with diced onion and diced bell peppers.... cook til done.... in another skillet put a little butter in the pan, melt, then put in some eggs (you can either have scrambled or over medium) your choice. In the toaster is some whole wheat slices.

So when it's all ready, your plate will have eggs, potatoes o'brien, bacons, and wheat toast.... and to top it all off..... coffee flavor of your choice.

    (smiles)

  10. This delusion about impeachment will in fact turn people out to vote Republican in November. We are not going to let the godless commie left overturn our election.

Look for record turnout of patriotic Americans to vote this time.

If they actually are able to pull this off and create this level of havoc our country will suffer greatly which in fact is exactly what they want. The communists goal has always been to accomplish exactly what they have accomplished. It took 70 years for them to get this done.

We stop them now or this country will pay a price worse than we did in 1865.

    1. agreed Safe. these idiots do need to be stopped.

On the local level....the dems are really showing their lack of faith in Laura Kelly to run on her own merit - so much so that they're doing all they can to boot Orman off the ballot to broaden her chances of votes in November. They're trying to suppress the votes of Kansans to choose between her and Kobach.

So not only will the dems be attacking Kobach, they're playing worse than dirty on Orman.

  11. Well good morning again comrades.

  12. The local level.... with what the dems here in Kansas are trying to do to Greg Orman - is really a cry for help because Laura Kelly isn't a strong candidate and they lack faith in her to run on her own. I guess they learned well from the lie tactics out of Washington.... they'll soon see that there's folks here in Kansas that aren't going to fall for their bullshit.

  13. Kevin's story today reminds me of the old Pena Colada song by Rupert Holmes. 'Cause you know when people would do this sort of thing they wouldn't "laugh for a moment." More likely screaming at each other, followed by clapper-claw. Almost certainly it would end up a matter for the fuzz.

A lot is going to depend on turnout. Perhaps if we'd string out a bunch of cheap liquor and incapacitating drugs on the streets of some big cities it would induce some of our Democratic friends to indulge in a way that they would neglect going to the polls. (Think that's a good idea there, Boz?)

Bonus, all the people the commies hire to vote won’t make it so the dems throw away money for nothing.

    Win win.
