Hang on to your ass, Sparky. Shit's about to hit the fan in a very big and devastating way.

The Department of Justice’s sweeping review into the origins of its Trump-Russia probe has evolved into a criminal investigation, according to the New York Times.

The launch of a criminal probe allows U.S. Attorney John Durham, the prosecutor tapped by Attorney General William Barr to lead the review, to subpoena witnesses for testimony and documents. The move also authorizes Durham to impanel a grand jury and file charges.
“If true, this shows Bill Barr is doing EXACTLY his job: following the facts Those who damaged America and broke the law to spread this hoax are about to face accountability,” Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) tweeted in response to the Times’ report.
The development comes after an NBC report revealed Barr recently expanded his agency’s review, noting that Durham has “found something significant and critics should be careful.” As part of the inquiry, Durham has sought interviews with CIA analysts who assessed Russia’s activities during the 2016 presidential election, prompting some of them to hire lawyers, NBC News stated.
Durham has been tasked with determining whether the Justice Department, FBI and intelligence authorities improperly surveilled the 2016 Trump campaign as part of their investigation into now-debunked coordination with Russia during the last presidential election. Special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation found insufficient evidence of a criminal conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia.
The hard-nosed U.S. attorney has reportedly received briefings on the “four corners” of the FBI’s use of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants as part of its controversial counterintelligence operation into the Trump campaign. “Durham is specifically reviewing the FISA warrant obtained by the FBI to surveil former Trump aide Carter Page, as well as general issues relating to surveillance during the 2016 campaign and matters flowing from the FISA process,” Fox News reported.
The FBI used the Steele dossier to obtain a FISA warrant to surveil Carter Page, but did not disclose to the FISA court that Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign or the Democrat National Committee (DNC) funded the dossier, despite indicating that the dossier was compiled as opposition research. Barr has described the dossier as “opposition research” with “clear mistakes.”
Testifying before Congress in May, Barr told lawmakers he believed “spying did occur” on the Trump campaign, but stopped short of saying whether it was done improperly.
“I think spying on a political campaign is a big deal,” he told the Senate Appropriations Committee, before adding, “I am not suggesting that those rules were violated, but I think it’s important to look at them.”
President Trump has repeatedly said his campaign was illegally surveilled and has even accused officials of treason. “My Campaign for President was conclusively spied on,” the president wrote on Twitter in May.  “Nothing like this has ever happened in American Politics. A really bad situation. TREASON means long jail sentences, and this was TREASON!”
The Justice Department declined to comment on the Times’ report.
Just saying...

  1. more than glad to see this happen! we all knew it was a matter of time after AG Barr became AG. Though patience is not one of my strong points especially when it comes to the bs in Washington - I have to admit that AG Barr is making sure that things are done right - i.e. gift wrap the demoNcrats for their journey to jail!

it's a race against time.... good will prevail trust in that. also trust in the fact that the demoNcrats will squirm and wiggle themselves like the snakes that they are but in the end....the demoNcrats will be the ones facing jail time!

California sure is having a lot of burning and lose of power. I think it is all due to too many people building where people shouldn't be living? This is another example of politicians not doing proper planning, there are placed that are not suited for people to build housing section with all modern convinces. Same goes for Phoenix, they are going to run out of water some day. Wonder if Randy is having to flee from the fires?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Dive, you are correct. California grew from 20 million in the sixties to 40 million today. And they developed the mountain areas to live in.

These fires have been burning since there has been fire. It was healthy and caused new growth and revitalized the forests. Now there are people living in the forests and next to them and therein lies the problem.

Couple that with California environmental whackos blocking deforestation and clearing the dead wood and brush and you have a recipe for disaster.

California is a desert. Simple as that. It is cultivated and made green by irrigation, but it's a desert. This is not caused by global warming. Pretending it is is simply advancing the problem instead of addressing it. It's a dangerous narrative, one of the worst the commies have come up with.

I live in the mountains, so I'm as bad as anybody I guess. We're on the edge of the fire risk, where we live is close but there's not a lot of stuff to burn here because of the draught primarily. But they could cut my power any time so I have a generator and a bug out kit.

We're not at risk to evacuate. We're close to the areas that are at more risk. My wife is going to LA today to babysit and she will drive right through those fires that are going on down there. They are close to the freeways but she will be able to get through to the daughters house, she lives on the very north of LA in the San Fernando valley.

Yesterday our valley up here was hazy from the smoke from the fires being drawn up here. And we're 150 miles away from the fires down south. But that's how bad they are.

If the damn environmental whackos would get out of the way, and let them build dams and reservoirs to hold water there would be plenty of water for the central valley. But they won't. And the water they do have just runs to the ocean. There is so much snow melt in the Sierras there is water aplenty. But only for snail darters apparently. And more water means better fire control. Then clear the dead brush, deforest high risk areas. But alas, this is California so no go.

I live right by a huge lake fed by the mighty Kern river. This year the Kern ran bank full all summer and filled Lake Isabella to the brim from record snow melt on Mt Whitney. But that doesn't help the central valley. We are below where they really need the water.

So this state is a giant environmental disaster, primarily because of the self proclaimed "environmentalists". Just like if we turn our economy over to the democrat/communist party. Bunch of commie experts who will destroy the economy like they do everything else they touch.

    ReplyDelete
  25. LOL LOL Thus is just so GREAT Pee Losi is all peed off cause Trump left them out of the loop. They were all leakers any way. But the best part now they are peed off cause Trump played the world and the libs got all worked up about him pulling troops out. The bad guys bought it and the troops were ready to go. They just waited for the bad guys to drop their pants and Trump gave them all enema's. The troops are still around. Way to go libs. Ha Ha He He And Trump scores again. Wonder how ole blue balls likes that?

Here are some interesting points to think about prior to 2020, especially to my friends on the fence, like moderate Democrats, Libertarians and Independents and the never Trump Republicans and those thinking of "walking away" from the Democratic party.
Women are upset at Trump’s naughty words -- they also bought 80 million copies of 50 Shades of Gray.
Not one feminist has defended Sarah Sanders. It seems women’s rights only matter if those women are liberal.
No Border Walls. No voter ID laws. Did you figure it out yet? But wait... there's more.
Chelsea Clinton got out of college and got a job at NBC that paid $900,000 per year. Her mom flies around the country speaking out about white privilege.
And just like that, they went from being against foreign interference in our elections to allowing non-citizens to vote in our elections.
President Trump’s wall costs less than the Obamacare website. Let that sink in, America.
We are one election away from open borders, socialism, gun confiscation, and full-term abortion nationally. We are fighting evil.
They sent more troops and armament to arrest Roger Stone than they sent to defend Benghazi.
60 years ago, Venezuela was 4th on the world economic freedom index. Today, they are 179th and their citizens are dying of starvation. In only 10 years, Venezuela was destroyed by democratic socialism.
Russia donated $0.00 to the Trump campaign. Russia donated $145,600,000 to the Clinton Foundation. But Trump was the one investigated!
Nancy Pelosi invited illegal aliens to the State of the Union. President Trump Invited victims of illegal aliens to the State of the Union. Let that sink in.
A socialist is basically a communist who doesn’t have the power to take everything from their citizens at gunpoint ... Yet!
How do you walk 3000 miles across Mexico without food or support and show up at our border 100 pounds overweight and with a cellphone?
Alexandria Ocasio Cortez wants to ban cars, ban planes, give out universal income and thinks socialism works. She calls Donald Trump crazy.
Bill Clinton paid $850,000 to Paula Jones To get her to go away. I don’t remember the FBI raiding his lawyer’s office.
I wake up every day and I am grateful that Hillary Clinton is not the president of the United States of America.
The same media that told me Hillary Clinton had a 95% chance of winning now tells me Trump’s approval ratings are low.
“The problem with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people’s money.”— Margaret Thatcher
Maxine Waters opposes voter ID laws; She thinks that they are racist. You need to have a photo ID to attend her town hall meetings.
President Trump said — "They’re not after me. They’re after you. I’m just in their way."

Here's something that the demoNcrats haven't taken into account.... with all of their efforts to up-end the 2016 National Election..... all of their efforts will be for not because Donald Trump can still run for re-election....

Found this article: a good read.

If A President Is Impeached, Can He Run For Re-Election? It's A Little Complicated BY SHELBY BLACK SEP 26, 2019

Over the past few days, the word "impeachment" has been at the tip of everyone's tongues. On Sept. 24, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that she plans to open an official impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump, and the anticipation has been excruciating. However, there's some information people should know throughout this process. For example, if a president is impeached, can he or she run for reelection? Well, yes, but it's never been done before.

To put it lightly, there's certainly a lot happening in the political climate right now. Not only is the 2020 presidential election looming, but an official House impeachment inquiry towards President Trump is underway. However, there is still a chance that Trump could run for reelection in 2020, even if he's impeached by Congress. Under Senate rules, a vote to convict and impeach a president automatically removes them from office, but does not automatically bar them from holding office again, per Politico. The Constitution states, "Judgment in cases of impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust or profit under the United States.” But the Senate has traditionally treated the two punishments as separate, meaning that should the Senate vote to convict a president, which takes a two-thirds majority, they would then have to vote again on whether to bar him or her from holding office, which takes only a simple majority, per Politico. That, however, is pretty rare — in fact, it's only happened three times in American history, all to federal judges.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Part 2 of 3:

Notably, no president has ever been faced with the option. Only two presidents have officially been impeached — Andrew Johnson in 1868 and Bill Clinton in 1999 — and both were acquitted. Johnson was not nominated by his party for reelection (though he later served again in the U.S. Senate), and term limits prevented Clinton from running for president again.

However, if Trump has proven anything during his three years of presidency, it's that he's certainly unlike former presidents. So, in this political climate, anything could really happen.

Before we start jumping to conclusions, it's important to know what an impeachment inquiry really entails. The thing is, an impeachment inquiry doesn't mean that President Trump will be impeached immediately. Instead, the inquiry marks the first step in a very lengthy process. Currently, six House committees are investigating the president, which, depending on what they find, could lead to articles of impeachment being filed for a full House vote. In order for a president to be impeached, the House must approve it by majority vote. If even one article of impeachment passes, then the president has technically been impeached and the proceeding will move to the Senate for a trial. In order to remove a president from office, two-thirds of the Senate must be in favor. Currently, the Republican party controls the Senate, so that vote could be difficult.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Part 3:

Some of the public might be eagerly awaiting more updates on the impeachment process, but it looks like President Trump isn't worried. Following Pelosi's announcement of the impeachment inquiry, Trump took to Twitter and referred to the action as "presidential harassment." He has also referred to Democrats' investigation into him as a "witch hunt."

    Donald J. Trump

    @realDonaldTrump
    PRESIDENTIAL HARASSMENT!

On Sept. 24, White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham referred to the inquiry as Democrats' attempt to "weaponize politics" and praised Trump's presidency in a statement to Elite Daily. The statement reads,

The Democrats continue to weaponize politics when they should be working on behalf of their constituents, which is nothing new. President Trump is working hard on behalf of our country here in New York City while they continue to scream the word impeachment. Nothing new here.
Just when we thought the upcoming 2020 presidential election would be the most dramatic event of 2019, we've been struck with even bigger news. For now, there's no telling whether Trump will be impeached or not, but even if he is, there's a chance he'll still be throwing his hat into the ring come 2020.

    ReplyDelete
  47. This is what I'm getting from that article:

"However, there's some information people should know throughout this process. For example, if a president is impeached, can he or she run for reelection? Well, yes, but it's never been done before."

    ----

"However, there is still a chance that Trump could run for reelection in 2020, even if he's impeached by Congress. ---

So to my understanding of what this article is saying is that President Trump can still run for re-election regardless of the bullshit from the satanic demoNcrats.

So all this hullaballoo from the satanic demoNcrats is all for show - i.e. all bark and no bite! So though watching things closely is all well and good, but in the end.... President Trump will end up on top again - this time ultimately on top.

House Democrat opposes impeachment, laments 'failed' process
    by Mike Brest | October 31, 2019 10:47 AM

Democratic Rep. Jeff Van Drew lamented that the upcoming House vote on the impeachment proceedings will do nothing more than formalize an investigation he expects to fail.

Van Drew, 66, has been skeptical of the Democrats' decision to pursue an impeachment hearing into President Trump's July phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He has previously complained about feeling pressured into supporting the investigation.

“At the end of the day, we’ll have the same president and same candidate and a failed impeachment process, and the only difference would be that the president will have been exonerated of charges," Van Drew said in a statement to Fox News.

The New Jersey congressman said he does not expect to vote in favor of the resolution. He added that he believes the Democrats' effort to remove Trump from office will be unsuccessful, and he doesn't think it's warranted.

"The presidential primary season is amongst us, and we have a general election coming up within a year. Let the people decide, and let’s get issues such as lowering prescription drug prices, infrastructure, access to healthcare, veterans’ benefits, and small business accomplished. Instead, this will only split the country further apart at the seams and create an even more toxic and partisan political environment that brings any progress to a halt.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the vote earlier this week, likely in response to criticism from GOP members about not having a full House vote.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Now there needs to be more democrats like Democratic Rep. Jeff Van Drew to stand up to the illegal proceedings!

    ReplyDelete
  54. There was one other democrat rep who voted against the trend in addition to Jeff Van Drew.... Rep. Collin Peterson.

NJ Democrat bucks party, backs Trump and votes 'no' on impeachment rules
    Terrence T. McDonald, North Jersey RecordPublished 11:19 a.m. ET Oct. 31, 2019 | Updated 11:29 a.m. ET Oct. 31, 2019

U.S. Rep. Jeff Van Drew, a South Jersey Democrat who grabbed a seat away from the GOP in 2018 and may face a tough reelection campaign next year, voted no Thursday on a House resolution that formalized an impeachment inquiry into President Trump.

Van Drew’s opposition to the inquiry puts him at odds with nearly all House Democrats and with his Democratic New Jersey colleagues like Rep. Mikie Sherrill and Rep. Josh Gottheimer, who also represent districts Trump won in 2016.

Van Drew has said he thinks impeachment will not succeed because Trump is unlikely to be convicted by the Republican-led Senate over his attempts to have Ukraine investigate former Vice President Joe Biden, the Democratic frontrunner to challenge Trump in 2020.

“I’m not sure what we’ve gained by putting everyone through all this," Van Drew told The Press of Atlantic City.

Thursday's vote ended with 232 in favor of the impeachment inquiry and 196 against. Rep. Collin Peterson, of Minnesota, is the only other House Democrat who voted no. No Republicans voted yes.

House members spoke Thursday morning in advance of a scheduled vote on a resolution that would lay out the ground rules for the impeachment inquiry.

“Let us honor our oath of office, let us defend our democracy, let us have a good vote today and have clarity, clarity about how we proceed, why we proceed and doing so in a way that honors the Constitution,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-California, said while standing next to an image of the American flag.

Republicans have characterized the impeachment inquiry as an extension of the Democrats' temper tantrum over losing the White House in 2016. Rep. Steve Scalise, R-Louisiana, on the House floor Thursday called the resolution "Soviet-style rules."

  55. so regardless of the antics of the misguided satanic demoNcrats who voted in favor of impeachment, it won't stand in the Republican led Senate. President Trump will still run for re-election and win....

    ReplyDelete
  56. It is still going to end up as a nothing Burger, the Dem's will impeach, senate won't remove, and the People will vote Trump back in, Simple as that. Then it will be ass kicking time.

  59. GOP launches new ads targeting vulnerable Democrats who voted for impeachment probe

    https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/oct/31/gop-launches-new-ads-targeting-vulnerable-democrat/

By Dave Boyer - The Washington Times - Thursday, October 31, 2019
A pro-Republican super PAC quickly launched new digital ads targeting 29 House Democrats who voted Thursday for an impeachment probe of President Trump.

The Congressional Leadership Fund said the ads will direct voters in the vulnerable Democrats’ districts to an online petition demanding Democrats drop their efforts to impeach Mr. Trump.

“The Democrats are so blinded by their personal hatred of President Trump that they’re willing to sacrifice all work on the issues voters care about, just to have one last shot at removing him from office to avenge their 2016 loss,” said CLF President Dan Conston. “Now that they’ve cast their votes in favor of marching headfirst into impeachment, vulnerable Democrats have shown voters there is zero difference whatsoever between them and the radical leftists fighting tooth and nail to impeach this president.”

He added, “With the House Majority running through ‘Trump country,’ voting for impeachment ensures there will be nowhere to hide for Democrats to escape their constituents’ wrath next November.”

  63. It has been cold here the last few days, i hope my bunny can take the cold. I put a fluffy rug down under a chair and I draped a blanket over the chair to keep the wind out. A gave him extra food and hay. He was sitting on the rug all cozy, but the wind is blowing so I know he is cold. He came out this morning and was looking in my door so I went out and gave him new seeds and fresh water. He is so sweet.

I get a little amused, and irritated, when I see some of these other channels, other than Fox, reporting on the investigations into the investigators, that Barr and the DOJ are doing. Fox has been reporting on much of this stuff for almost 3 years and the other stations try to make it sound like they are just finding out about some of this stuff and how it is all "unverified" and conspiracies going down! They all bitch about Fox being an "entertainment" channel and not a real news channel, yet none of them take time to investigate anything other than Trump! I was also disappointed to hear or read that Katherine Herridge, one of the really good reporters on Fox, is apparently going to NBC, I believe. Not sure what is up with that! Maybe trying to buy off the good reporters so that they will not dig into the screw ups that NBC is now in hot water for?? Don't know!
Plan to go to the Jeff Foxworthy show tonight at Prairie Band. Hope it is a good show and that I can make it on time! Have great day and weekend!

    1. I seen that also. I always thought that she was pretty much a straight shooter. She had been there a long time. One of the original people that started FOX. I am guessing that with the way FOX is going liberial and the other stuff going on there that she was either going to have to change or leave. I just don't get her going to CBS or where ever. Knowing that there wont be any fair reporting and she will either do what they say or hit the road. I think she has put herself in a box with no way out.

  67. This impeachment farce is taking a toll on her physically and it's showing.

When the demoNcrats' impeachment farce fails miserably - the demoNcrats will publically devour each other as they point blame on one another.... starting with Pelosi going through the House of Reps and carrying over to the demoNcrats in the Senate....

Then when the 2020 National Election is front and center.... they will lose control of the House and lose seats in the Senate and President Trump will be re-elected to his 2nd term.

I hope the libs loose big time so that she will have to take the heat for this impeachment and loosing the house. It will fall on her and they will make her retire and give her a big party. Knowing that she got the boot from the real people.

  69. You would think that if anyone could afford dental implants, it would be her! LOL! They told me they would cost $48000 for a full set. That's a drop in the bucket for her! Maybe she could buy me some too!!
What I see happening is that I think she will be gone after the election, no matter how it comes out. Either she will retire or they will carry her out on a stretcher!
The real catch for the future, say in 2024 or 28, I think that AOC is already dreaming of going into the WH. She is buttering up the millenials with all of these far out schemes, saying she will get the wealthy to pay for their stuff, and with the older Conservatives dying off, she thinks she will have free sailing to do any Green Deal, Free college, Free health care, Free etc.,etc., etc.... I don't think she thinks they will get it this go around but by the time she is even old enough to be President, they should be ripe for the picking! Nobody ever said you had to be smart to be elected, you just have to be able to promise enough people stuff that they can't resist, then when it doesn't pan out, blame whoever it is that you are trying to screw over! They are doing it with Trump now, and by the time AOC is 35, which is only 5 years away, she will be prime to run for 2028. She does not have much common sense but she is not stupid and knows how to work a crowd that already believes like she does, especially the young ones. I know I would get put down by the Libs for saying this, but the truth is the truth! When you are young, reasonably good looking and female, you can about write your ticket in politics! Minority, even better! Just the way life is!

  71. Remember When California Was the "Golden State?"

When was the last time you heard anyone refer to California as “The Golden State” in a non-ironic manner? Until leftists commandeered political control, California was considered a land of sunshine, fresh starts, fantastic weather, economic opportunity and endless recreation and entertainment. Through the 1980s, Ronald Reagan’s cheerful optimism and beaming smile served as a metaphor for the state that he governed before becoming president. ... It was the land of surfers, Disneyland, Hollywood, Orange County and sports-cars.
Today, what immediately comes to mind when one thinks of California? In recent weeks, probably blackouts. It’s as if California has become a third-world country within our national borders. By T. L.

  73. For a town that leaks like a sieve, Washington has done an astonishingly effective job keeping from the American public the name of the anonymous "whistleblower" who triggered impeachment proceedings against President Trump - even though his identity is an open secret inside the Beltway. More than two months after the official filed his complaint, pretty much all that’s known publicly about him is that he is a CIA analyst who at one point was detailed to the White House and is now back working at the CIA.
But the name of a government official fitting that description - Eric Ciaramella - has been raised privately in impeachment depositions, according to officials with direct knowledge of the proceedings, as well as in at least one open hearing held by a House committee not involved in the impeachment inquiry.

    ReplyDelete
  74. President Donald Trump has repeatedly slammed the secret impeachment hearings in the Capitol basement as "a totally compromised kangaroo court." Sounds like Speaker Nancy Pelosi got the message. On Monday, she announced the full House will vote to formally launch impeachment proceedings, which will be out in the open instead of in the dark.
Until now, Democrats have been trying to trick the public into believing they've got the goods on Trump. But the truth is, none of the witnesses they've called so far have had any firsthand knowledge of presidential wrongdoing.

  75. I ve watching this crap from the libtards which looks like nothing but a coup to overthrow the POTUS I really don't see how it can be called any thing else. But my concern is how and when does this stop? I don't see any end in this until it gets to the senate and then that will drag out until either right before the election or these scum bags will try to keep it going again after . So my question that maybe some one can answer or send me to a place that has the info.. Whats to keep the AG Barr from stepping in and laying down the law?

    ReplyDelete
  76. There's no doubt Democrats in Washington are hell-bent on impeaching President Trump over the Ukraine matter. But after weeks of polling, it is still unclear precisely what Americans outside the Beltway think.
Much depends on how pollsters ask their questions. Some are straightforward, while others are a bit more complicated. But in the last few weeks, many have asked a variation of: "Do you support or oppose impeaching President Trump?" A new poll, however, done by Suffolk University for USA Today, gets at some of the nuance behind public opinion on the president and Ukraine. Poll Poses Serious Questions About Dem Impeachment Drive.

This attempt by these individuals should be identified for what it is...a COUP D`ETAT.

  79. Got some more Then I need to rest my brain.
what an American coup might include.
We are considering here a situation where powerful people decide they don’t like a presidential election outcome and want to change the result sub rosa; a situation where the president has not committed a high crime and is not incapacitated and, instead, where conspiratorial actors attempt to remove him or her from power for illegitimate reasons.
So who are the conspiratorial candidates? Probably two groups top the list: neoliberals and nNeoliberals and neoconservatives are real groups and not intellectual abstractions. And while they don’t use secret handshakes and ancient rituals to initiate their brethren into the rules and customs of their ideological sect, they do possess fiercely homogeneous lifestyles that make membership in them obvious to their members. They go to the same schools, attend the same parties, work for the same companies, vacation on the same islands, were military officers at the same time, share the same spouses, read the same political columnists, and use the same financial advisers. Most importantly, they know who belongs and doesn’t belong to their respective sect.eoconservatives.

  80. What would be the tactics and methods used in an American coup?
First, delegitimize the president and his administration.
Second, ensure the defense and national security establishment supports the removal of the president.
Thirdly, there must be a singular leader that can sell the coup to the American people. Lastly, an American coup will need to look, as much as possible, like democracy in action.
