The day I thought would never come...

How bout those Chiefs!!!

I gotta tell you, it was really nice to completely forget about politics for a few hours last night and enjoy witnessing a game I thought would never happen let alone actually win.

With the exception of two years when those fuckers were taking a knee trying to destroy the sport football season has always been a huge event in my family.

Every Sunday my wife and I work our asses off feeding the ourselves, the kids and the grand kids.

Because of yesterday's weather I actually fired up the grill and pumped out enough burgers, brats, Italian and Polish sausages and fried potatoes to feed and army.

It's been a lot of work and as the season comes to an end we're always a little relieved but also a little sad that it's over.

Not this year though.

The sad part will probably set in a little later down the road but right now we're all still pumped up after the ending of the perfect football season.

Go Chiefs!!!

  3. The MSM is all in out in full force complaining PTrump congratulated the state of Kansas for winning the Super Bowl. Geez.

  4. I blame Trump for KC Win... He just keeps on Winning , Making Kansas Great and MAG 2020.. YES!

  5. Lol... Nope, I did all the grilling. Travis smoked some at home and brought them over. Sofie made no bake cookies, cupcakes and a cake. Linda did the deviled eggs and two different salads. But mostly she bossed me around...

  6. And the crap about Trump saying the Chiefs represent Kansas well was spot on. They do.

Maybe if they had mocked Obama for his 57 states gaff I'd pay more attention to them.

  7. If that is all they got, boring week coming up. Let's impeach the MFer for secretly having Ks annex part of Mo.

  8. Let's see. Beautiful warm weather! The Chiefs won! It's pay week for me! And the President will be Acquitted this week! Life is good!

  11. One happy Kansan/Californian here. And they're pretty much all 49er folks around here, probably by default. What a game.

I've waited 40 years for this. I had season tickets to the Chiefs back in the eighties, during the Frank Gantz days. But I saw Joe Montana and Marcus Allen play in Chiefs uniforms. Saw Derrick Thomas, Deron Cherry and a lot of other greats. But they broke my heart more times than I can count.

This time they did it. What a team! I had given up on football after the taking a knee bullshit but it looks like the NFL is trying to redeem itself with the patriotic opening. Nobody on a knee. Except some apparently famous rapper and his ho wife who made a point to sit during the national anthem. Commie rat bastards, there's one in every crowd. But they are the ones who came across as commie rat bastards so if that was their goal, mission accomplished. Screw them both. Too bad somebody didn't dump a beer on their heads.

Bet this is one team that won't decline a white house invitation. Maybe this is the beginning of something good.

  12. Richard Sherman of the 49ers said he probably wouldn't visit the White House after the Super Bowl.

    Guess he was right.

Melania Trump to step into political spotlight with campaign events
    by Caitlin Yilek | February 03, 2020 08:42 PM

First lady Melania Trump is headlining a pair of campaign events for her husband in the coming weeks.

Trump will headline two fundraisers in March, according to Politico. The first will take place on March 18 in Beverly Hills, California, and the second is scheduled for March 25 at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

Melania Trump, 49, did not appear regularly on the campaign trail during the 2016 presidential election or the 2018 midterms, citing her role as a mother to 13-year-old Barron. One of the last big appearances she made on the campaign trail was days before the 2016 election in Pennsylvania at an event meant to appeal to white suburban women voters, during which she pledged to fight online bullying.

The president's reelection campaign has outpaced 2020 Democrats in fundraising, hauling in $46 million during the fourth quarter of 2019.

  25. Lol... Crazy Bernie pledges to shut down fracking and legalize pot on day one.

Pretty bold plan to say the least.

Problem is though he won't have the power or authority to do either one.

Cracks me up when the snowflakes whine about Trump being a dictator but they wholeheartedly cheer Bernie on when he's actually promising to be one.

    https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/feb/4/clinton-alums-developed-faulty-iowa-caucus-app-rep/

Clinton alums behind faulty Iowa caucus app
By Seth McLaughlin and Dave Boyer - The Washington Times - Updated: 12:57 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2020

ANKENY, Iowa — The company behind the app that led to the delay in reporting caucus results in Iowa was established by alums of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

News outlets reported that the faulty app was developed by Shadow Inc., a technology group co-founded by Gerard Niemira and Krista Davis — both of whom worked for Ms. Clinton’s 2016 campaign.

“We are campaign and technology veterans who have built and implemented technology at Hillary for America, Obama for America, Google, Kiva, Apple, the AFL-CIO and the DNC,” the group’s website says. “Our passion is to create a permanent advantage for progressive campaigns and causes through technology.”

Troy Price, chair of the Iowa Democrats, said Tuesday that a coding error prevented precinct chairs across the state from transmitting their results to the state party.

As a result, local leaders from a number of the more than 1,600 caucus sites had to phone in their results, clogging up the phone lines and leading to a delay in releasing the raw vote and delegate tabulations.

Mr. Niemira’s slogan on his Twitter account is, ironically, “Make it happen.”

In a since-deleted blog post from January 2019, Mr. Niemira said Shadow would “aim to give campaigns, state parties, advocacy groups, PACs and others a way to manage all of this data in one place in a way that users of all levels can act like experts.”

In an April 2019 Wired.com story about the Democratic National Committee’s efforts to fix its crumbling data operations, Mr. Niemira was quoted as saying he inherited a “s–show” from the DNC in 2016 while working for the Clinton campaign. The story described a $5 million project by the DNC to build a more stable data platform that wouldn’t require its own servers.

The article stated that Mr. Niemira “believes it’s critical for Democrats to build tools that the average field staffer can access easily.”

“In order to be successful in 2020 and beyond, we have to figure out a way to get low-skill users to be able to pull this data around the ecosystem,” Mr. Niemira said in the story.

Campaign finance reports filed with the Federal Election Commission show that former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s campaign had paid Shadow Inc. $42,500 for “software rights and subscriptions” and that former Vice President Joseph R. Biden paid the group $1,225 for “text messaging.”

New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, meanwhile, paid the group $35,000 for services for her short-lived presidential campaign, and the Nevada Demcoratic Party paid them $58,000 last year for “technology services.”

  31. First the newspaper poll that they weren't able to put out the poll results

"It was brought to CNN's attention earlier this evening someone questioned for the survey raised an issue the way their interview was conducted. That means the results of the poll would have been compromised."

Now, the results of the Caucus last night are not coming out, although they say they should be coming out later today.

What does all of that tell us? If I were so terrible as to question the Democratic party and the people in charge of it, I might say that this is all pretty troubling. Could it be that the results that they are or were getting in the poll and caucus was not the results they wanted to announce so the process has been put into question to cover for the information that would actually be coming out? Maybe "rigging" the process? Nah....That couldn't and wouldn't happen, could it? The "people in charge" want Biden to be the nominee because they think that he is most electable, but if it's not him, I think they want Bloomberg. Maybe the want Bloomberg more than Biden! Sounding more and more like another "sham" to me!

This President is making the democrat/communists eat one shit sandwich after another.

Today in the Senate they'll eat one more. Mitch McConnell should rip up the impeachment papers and throw them on the floor then take the vote.

One more sandwich to eat you rotten commie rat bastards. But they've already got the bread out making the next one, you can count on that.

House Democrats 'likely' to subpoena John Bolton, says Judiciary Chairman Nadler

By Gabriella Muñoz - The Washington Times - Wednesday, February 5, 2020
House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler said Wednesday that the chamber’s Democrats may subpoena former national security adviser John Bolton after the Trump impeachment trial concludes.

The New York Democrat told reporters it was “likely” that one of the investigating committees would bring Mr. Bolton to testify about “everything,” suggesting they’d continue several of the investigations they launched last year, not just on Ukraine.

He didn’t offer a timeline of when the testimony might happen.

“When you have a lawless president you have to spotlight that, you have to protect the Constitution,” Mr. Nadler said of continuing investigations in an election year.

Mr. Bolton was at the center of the Democrats’ unsuccessful push for more witnesses in the Senate impeachment trial last week.

Revelations reportedly detailed in his unpublished manuscript include President Trump personally asking him to call Ukraine’s president and demand investigations and that top officials such as acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney, Trump lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani and White House counsel Pat Cipollone were in the room. The book also reportedly details that the president planned to withhold military aid for Ukraine until the investigations were secured.

The impeachment trial will likely conclude early Wednesday evening, with Mr. Trump almost assured to be acquitted.
