Give Em Hell Friday...

Good morning boys and girls.

It's Friday and it's your day to choose the topic.

But I do have a little news nugget I'd like to mention before turning it over to you guys.

From the "Imagine That" Department:

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has taken the position that displaying the Gadsden Flag constitutes racial harassment.

My reaction?

  1. Wonder if Batshit works with them? Sounds like the same exact twisted, convoluted pretzel-logic that dipshit uses to justify his hatred and insanity.......

  2. I propose we rally for a Gadsden flag to be included in this little project:

    http://cjonline.com/news/2016-08-04/new-panel-planned-great-mural-wall-topeka-centers-around-stories-youth

...to be "dedicated to visually exploring the experiences of different community groups through paint."

"They plan on gathering that material by tabling at various locations across Topeka. They’ll provide paper and markers and ask questions like, “What does youth mean to you?” “To what do you aspire?” and “What advice would you give to younger generations?” said Fitzpatrick."

What advice? None better than "Don't Tread On Me"!

“It’s important to me because mural projects like this give regular folks a voice in helping to shape the identity that they live through visual storytelling,” he said. “If you look at the wall now, if you walk around, there are some stories that you know but there are many that you probably don’t, and that’s fantastic, that we can have this introduction to a version of Topeka that we’re not all familiar with.”

And, a version (and vision) of our country that youth isn't familiar with, having been modified and codified by the leftist commies running our schools and media, into something we're not.

Yeah....seems to me...that fits their criteria.

And even better...would be if it pisses off Buttstash and his like-minded (simple-minded) anti-American socialists!

  3. Lol... Ever since the Khan job they pulled on Trump they just love the Constitution.

    They're all about Free Speech.

Well, as long as they approve of it.

    Friggin hypocrites anyway...

  4. Actually...here's the stumper of THAT story.

"They’ll provide paper and markers and ask questions like,..."

Well, markers are nice, but some may prefer crayons...clear on up through college! I suggest having the giant 256-color box of Crayolas handy.

(Whatever they do...DON'T let them see any chalk! Chalk scares the bejeebers outta them!)

“What does youth mean to you?” “To what do you aspire?” and “What advice would you give to younger generations?”

Well...sure. Ask kids for advice to give...kids. Y'know...since they all have such vast, wordly-experience and...y'know...already KNOW everything, and all!

More likely...the kids will just be regurgitating the leftist propaganda CRAP drilled into their previously-innocent little heads to warp and control their minds, through the Liberal Indoctrination Centers for Social Justice (aka...public schools).

Yep...it'll be a proud achievement for Topeka (not based in any kind of reality)!

  5. More than likely it's a test to see how well the indoctrination is progressing.

They'll tweak the brain washing based on the results of the test...

  6. I see ol' Bluestatist is over at the Urinal and started off trying to argue T&C's statement...but actually proved T&C's case! Nothing about Hillary supporting the war...just how "he" couldn't pin down Trump opposing it?

Then, he goes off on his usual nonsensical, disjointed "Loose-in-da-head"-type liberal-illogic prattling of a rant that I didn't go all the way through...(and...really...who DOES?!)

(BTW...haven't seen ol' Loosey lately? Suppose she misplaced that pea-sized brain of hers, when it rolled out of her ear while sleeping?)

  7. ya know.... if Bernie Sanders were a black man, batty and the whole of Hillary supporters would be singing a whole different tune now wouldn't they?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Of course they would.

    But then they're hypocrites...

  9. T&C has responded to blueboy by the way. That T&C guy is pretty sharp. Hope he comes to the next summit. I'd like to meet him. He reminds me of me. LOL

  11. Hey Rikki. I'm learning Christmas carols on my ukulele. Going out to California to spend Christmas with our 2 yr old grandson and I thought it was time to introduce him to live music. Ukulele travels a little easier than the guitar.

  12. Somebody correct me here if I'm wrong. The Purple Heart. Nobody ever wants to get one of these and nobody'd ever say he always wanted to get one, right?

I mean, you guys who've been in the service, you've heard kids say things like this, right? Kids, just coming in, thinking there's glory to be had? Kids who don't know any better and can't see that getting hit could be a hair's breadth, a nanosecond away from getting killed? Even just grazed or winged or wounded or however you put it, nobody who thought about it would ever wish for that, would he?

    1. i go get your point but Trump actually say it? I don't trust the media to report the truth about what he says and doesn't say.

  13. Hmmm, what do you think Safe?

    Your call...

  14. My point? That nobody you'd trust, believe to be a clear thinker, would ever say that he's always wanted to get a Purple Heart.

  15. What was Hillary looking for when she spiraled down in a Helicopter under gunfire Anonymous? That was a Lie.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Who said they always wanted to get a purple heart anyway?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I don't know Kevin. Maybe we should let this play out a little just to see where it goes. It's not making much sense but I'm sure there is a point in there somewhere that we can make fun of when we see it.

  18. Let me say that I don't care if you delete my comments. I can see how you would. You're not here because you wanted to have a place for discussion; you're here to support each other in your cheering for what you think's right. You've been pushed into this corner and have said many times that you're not interested in hearing more of the same "political correctness" that drove you here.

On this Purple Heart deal, though, when I hear it I see in my mind a scene where guys are out in the field and something needs to be done that's more than an ordinary risk. The whole unit has an objective but a couple of guys or one guy has to be the first to expose himself for the operation to work. It's expected, it's known that you don't volunteer. For anything but especially this one. Somebody probably will, though, and it won't be a guy who'd ever say that he's always wanted to get a Purple Heart. It'll be the guy who knows there's a job that's gotta be done but won't get done until somebody gets off dead center. If you were the man in charge you'd never pick the one who said, "I've always wanted a Purple Heart." The person saying that is naive at least and going in expecting to fail at worst. You don't want "fail." You'd do it yourself or pick the guy who just said, "I'll do it, sarge."

  19. Let me guess.

This, like everything else is the issue that's gonna finally destroy Trump?

  21. Nobody's deleted your comment yet but so far you have made no point. Apparently you have some issue with purple hearts. OK.

What does this have to do with anything?

We only delete comments that violate our terms of service. So far you're OK, but it's getting boring. So make a point already.

  22. Skippey, apparently he has some beef with purple hearts. I don't know what it is, he doesn't say. He just keeps blathering on without actually saying anything that makes sense.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Skippey's right. I've never been in the service. That's why I said, "correct me if I'm wrong."

  24. Still waiting for a point. Our readers expect a little higher level of discourse on America's second blog. Step it up a little Sport.

  26. I find no fault in someone wishing they would of made a physical sacrifice for their flag and country.

I do find fault in people that burn or wipe their ASS with that same flag.

And that's why I laugh at protesters setting the self on fire while burning the flag.
    That's karma.

  27. Oh my, Hillary's even admitted that she lied about telling the truth.

    From Politico:
"Hillary Clinton acknowledged Friday that she may have "short-circuited" when she claimed in a recent interviews that FBI Director James Comey said she was "truthful" about her use of a private email server as secretary of state."

Wow, can I go around using that? "Sorry about telling you to screw off and die. I short-circuited", or "Dear IRS, I didn't mean to leave out that million dollars of income. I short-circuited".

I think God is going to get her before Allah gets Trump :-)

3 months to go: she hasn't had a press conference in more than a year; she's surrounded by Secret Service agents and jumps at a loud noise; she has weird head-bobbing, eye-rolling seizures; and she has coughing fits during public speaking".

    Pass the popcorn!
