Let's talk about inflation.

We are all feeling the pinch from the current inflationary cycle. It's higher than it's been since Jimmy Carter, and in reality if you measure it the way they did back then, it's way higher. So what is it, and how bad is it?

Well, inflation is obvious. Prices going up. Simple, right? But what's the cause and what do we do about it?

The cause is too much money chasing too few goods. People want to buy things and there's no supply. The chinese flu shutdown is the primary cause, in my opinion. When the whole country shut down at the same time, supply lines shut down. Remember the toilet paper/paper towel shortage? That was just the beginning. Lumber mills shut down. Car makers shut down. Meat processing plants shut down. Food processing plants shut down. Factories everywhere shut down. So the supply line stopped.

Demand was still there, so the basic law of Economics 101 kicked in. Supply and Demand.

When there is demand and not enough supply, prices rise. It pretty much always happens, for a number of reasons, but the main one is that's how the market controls itself. Prices go up, demand drops and lets the supply side catch up. Same works in reverse. Too much supply and not much demand causes prices to lower, raising demand until the supply catches up.

A classic example of this is Harley Davidson. About 2000 everybody wanted a Harley. They had limited production based on historic sales, so Harleys were hard to get. You had to get on a waiting list and wait a year or more, then take whatever they got at whatever price they wanted, if you wanted a Harley. And they still sold out every year to the last bike. Supply and demand. So they responded by ramping up production, building more plants like the one by KCI in KC. And they produced more bikes. Then demand slowed about 2004 and Harley was overproduced. They finished the year with unsold inventory. They started offering incentives, free accessories with the purchase of a bike. But their stock crashed, they had to slow production, lay off workers and close plants. Supply and demand took them from the catbird seat to near bankruptcy, because they didn't read the future very well.

So what we are seeing right now is partly to blame on the global shutdowns, and part on the Fed keeping interest rates too low, and part on biden's crazy spending.

Now the bulk of biden's spending hasn't happened yet, he has to get it through congress so as much as I would love to blame him that's a fairly small part, right now. Low interest hurts. But the supply issue is the real culprit.

Lumber is a great example. Lumber prices are crazy, as you know if you have bought any. The lumber mills shut down for almost a year and supply ran out without much drop in demand. That drove up lumber prices to crazy levels. Supply and demand. Way too much demand, no supply. Not just low supply, almost none.

So the good new. Lumber futures for July delivery have fallen 41%, from a record high of $1,711 to $1,009. Futures are what investors are prepaying for July delivery of a commodity. If you think prices are going up, you buy at today's price and sell it at the July price. As futures go, prices follow. The framing composite index which tracks daily sales has fallen dramatically. So the lumber hoarders will be selling fast or be eating a lot of product as the mills outproduce demand. Look for lumber prices to fall, maybe close back to normal.

So hopefully this is temporary. I've talked to my financial advisor and we've agreed to treat this as temporary. If I thought inflation was back at this rate, I would be repositioning in the market. I moved to a more risky position when Trump was President and it paid off. I haven't backed off at this point and I'm holding so far.

But remember, this is one opinion. And I could be wrong. I'm just having a conversation here. Feel free to let me know what you think.

  1. Short response for now, could a bit more later.

Let's not discount the money machine at the Fed. Considering we print at an astronomical rate, that's part of it too.

They print, put us in huge debt. Can't give an interest rate, or realize huge losses to the Chinese whom we owe quite a bit.

Inflation is complicated, and devious considering demcomms disallowed food and energy to be taken into the formula.

Overall, this is a great synopsis Safe. As always, good work. Hopefully time allows me to add later.

  2. Correct as always, Hammer. I didn't touch on the Fed too much but you are correct. We have been seeing Quantitative Easing since the Marxist from Kenya was president. That is the practice of the Fed buying bonds from the banks holding them. It is supposed to be neutral to the economy, but probably isn't. It is a tool to keep interest rates low, which is needed because of the huge debt we are incurring with government spending.

The Fed's goal is to keep interest rates low, which can also cause inflation. When businesses see prices going up in the future, and they can borrow money for practically nothing, it encourages capital purchases now instead of in the future, which is an inflationary problem. More demand without enough supply. But if the inflation is seen as short term, then they likely don't spend the money now.

Imagine you want to buy a house. You want a $150K house. If you know that in a year that house will be $160K, and you can buy it today with money borrowed at 3% interest, you probably will buy now rather than wait. Especially if every year you wait the price goes up. When this happens it causes house prices to go up. Inflation.

The Fed just talking about stopping Quantitative Easing causes interest rate speculation to go up. So it's probably here to stay.

This has been going on for 10 years or so now. Big government spending, Quantitative Easing, artificially low interest and government borrowing. Obama did it. Trump did it. It's now the standard. So I don't think that suddenly caused inflation just because biden does it.

If this proves temporary, then we'll see thing back to normal in a year or less. If not, then bad government monetary policy will kill us. That's what happened in the seventies. Nixon started it, then when it continued Jimmy Carter had no idea how to stop it. Ronald Reagan and the Supply Siders fixed it, but it was painful.

  5. I was shocked when I set out to buy a new couch, leather chair, gas stove top and refrigerator. I visited a few furniture stores, selected a couch and chair and I was told it would be approximately six months for delivery. They pretty much laughed when I told them I would shop around because six months was too long to wait. Same thing with appliances. I did my research and found a furniture store that could deliver within two weeks. We have a great furniture store called Weirs and they sell quality furniture. It pays to know your brands and I have shopped at Weirs for years and I have always been extremely happy with the quality of furniture and the service. Apparently Weirs forcasted for the COVID crap and they bought massive amounts of furniture ahead of time. Now, the bad part is the cost of furniture has increased in price. It took almost four weeks to get my refrigerator and stove top. Not bad considering most appliance stores are backlogged. I mentioned previously that I recieved an estimate on wood floors and it was going to cost $30,000. I nearly laughed the guy right out the door. I haven't gotten a second estimate on wood flooring because I know the price of wood right now is out of this world and I am not going to pay a ridiculous amount because of some stinking COVID scare tactics. The wood flooring guy told me he had just finished laying wood floors for Troy Aikman. I am sure Troy can afford the high price for wood flooring but I can't and won't. It's just plain stupid.

I don't drink milk but my husband does and I always pick up a gallon of milk for him when I go grocery shopping. I grabbed a gallon of milk and a lady asked me if I had seen the price of milk. I said no, and then checked the price and it was $6.49 for a gallon of milk. It was $4.99 for a pint of heavy cream. The price of hamburger has gone up too. I just bought milk last month and it was three dollars and something. I was talking to the store manager and he told me the prices have increased because the cost for fuel has increased. I can only imagine the grocery bills for a family of five. Lord help us all.

  6. Well Rose, if my theory holds true, prices should come back down. I know when prices go up like this it's tempting to think it's going to stay that way. But I don't believe it is. It can't. Gas is the exception. Gas prices aren't because of this temporary inflation, they are up because lyin biden cut off supply, and the commies are shutting down drilling and exploration and taking us from being energy independent under Trump to buying from the muslims again. And that does impact the cost of everything.

But have hope. Check that flooring price again in three months. Or six months. I bet it changed a lot.

As the supply chain fills back up, prices have to go down. The beautiful thing about a free market system is things tend to be predictable.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Safe, you are correct about the prices going back down. I hope the price of wood goes back down in the very near future. I should have mentioned the outrageous price quoted for installing wood floors was not because I live in a hugh house because that is not the case. However my little village is now being taken over by people demolishing existing homes and building small castles on the lot. I see trucks coming in the neighborhood everyday hauling wood to rebuild those homes and the wood now looks like gold in my eyes.

I am still disgusted about Crooked Biden and the pipeline being shut down.
Actually there is nothing the idiot in the White House says or does that doesn't disgust me. Come on man, we all know he is a fool.

BTW, you wrote an excellent article!

The things that his team actually let him decide for himself, are things that Dr. Jill must take care of for him. It is so great that she is a Doctor, so that she can make the medical decisions for him! Oh wait....I guess not! Never mind!

We're in transition between moving from one house to the other. Moving is for the young! (giggles).

We're moving into Rick's parents' house - and soon will be doing a little fixing on ours and put it on the market. Nearly 37 years in the house we're moving out of.... lots of accumulated clutter! It's mainly in the basement....I've dubbed that the "Monster Room"!

  12. Lyin biden wants another lock down. This time over the imaginary climate change. Says people should stay in their homes. Not drive. Only fly in emergencies. Not eat meat.

We said from the start the chinese flu lockdown was a practice run to see how compliant the American people are. And it appears they are pretty compliant. It was about conditioning people to the government declaring an "emergency" and taking drastic steps to mediated it.

At least the chines flu was real. It may have been created by the Chicoms and the demcoms for that purpose, but it was an actual pandemic.

Climate change is a hoax and has been since it's invention. This was a long term plan and it's moving into the next phase. Whenever you hear them talk about the "climate change emergency" you know they're trying to kickstart the whole plan. Don't be surprised at anything they do now. The Repubs stopped their steal the vote law and they don't have the support they need to kill the filibuster. So it's plan B.

  13. Well, if you were a renter in California, and you did the right thing and paid your rent for the last year like you agreed to when you moved in, you are a sucker.

Newsome is ordering the taxpayers to pay all back rent owed since the chinese flu. And they had an "emergency" order that prevented evictions. So everybody that just stopped paying their rent now gets it paid. Plus a few months in advance. No qualification. You don't have to have lost your job. Just send in the form and it gets paid.

This is Newsome using taxpayer money to try to buy his way out of the recall that is happening.

As usual. Reward the deadbeats, punish the honest people. And make the rest of us pay for it.

  15. The democrat/communists are creating an artificial labor shortage by paying people to stay home and not work. This adds to the inflationary cycle because it forces companies to inflate wages to get people to come back to work. This makes the inflation cycle more permanent and less transitory. When wages are increased beyond market demand, prices go up. That drives inflation, which cancels any gains in those wages. It also forces companies to shrink work forces to meet the bottom line.

Labor is a commodity in the free market system, just like lumber or automobiles or anything else. It is worth what it is worth. To artificially inflate it disrupts the market.

The driving theory behind communism is the opposite. They believe workers are exploited by the employers. Wages should be based on a share of the profits, not driven by the marketplace. Your value is no longer based on your work ethic, skills and abilities. That's the primary reason communism fails every time. Workers are unmotivated to learn new skills. Companies are unmotivated to create new jobs.

The democrat/communists hate our free market system, also known as capitalism. Although it is the most productive system ever invented and has lifted more people out of poverty than any other system in history, the demcoms are determined to destroy it hoping to replace it with Marxism.

  16. So lyin biden says we're foolish to think the second amendment was written to keep tyrants at bay. Says we would need F-15s and nukes.

Well joe, a bunch of cave dwelling primitives with 40 year old AKs and homemade bombs just kept us at bay and drove us out of the country, like they did the Russians before us and like they did everybody that's tried.

    So much for your theory.

I's sure the King of England laughed when a bunch of colonials with squirrel rifles declared war on them. How that that one end?

  17. It's a little confusing. Lyin biden says we would need nukes and F-15s to take over the government.

But we've been hearing since Jan 6 that a motley crew of peaceful protesters wearing costumes and taking selfies almost TOOK OVER THE GOVERNMENT!!!

  18. How do nations slip from greatness to obscurity?

    * Fighting endless wars they can’t or won’t win
    * Accumulating massive debt far beyond their ability to repay
    * Refusing to guard their borders, allowing the nation to be inundated by an alien horde
    * Surrendering control of their cities to mob rule
    * Allowing indoctrination of the young
    * Moving from a republican form of government to an oligarchy
    * Losing national identity
    * Indulging indolence
    * Abandoning faith and family – the bulwarks of social order.

In America, every one of these symptoms is pronounced, indicating an advanced stage of the disease.
Even if the cause seems hopeless, do we not have an obligation to those who sacrificed so much to give us what we had?

I’m surrounded by ghosts urging me on: the Union soldiers who held Cemetery Ridge at Gettysburg, the battered bastards of Bastogne, those who served in the cold hell of Korea, the guys who went to the jungles of Southeast Asia and came home to be reviled or neglected.

This is the nation that took in my immigrant grandparents, whose uniform my father and most of my uncles wore in the Second World War. I don’t want to imagine a world without America, even though it becomes increasingly likely.

During Britain’s darkest hour, when its professional army was trapped at Dunkirk and a German invasion seemed imminent, Churchill reminded his countrymen, “Nations that go down fighting rise again, and those that surrender tamely are finished.” The same might be said of causes. If we let America slip through our fingers, if we lose without a fight, what will posterity say of us?

While the prognosis is far from good, only God knows if America’s day in the sun is over.

First off, no cops were killed. That's a lie they keep repeating, because they are lying commie rat bastards and that's just what they do. The only person killed by anyone was Ashli Babbitt, a peaceful unarmed protestor who was shot in the back by the cops.

Second, the Republicans did the right thing. That whole kangaroo court was going to be another democrat/communist show trial where they would stand up and repeat lie after lie about Donald Trump.

They are still so scared of him they can't stop all this bullshit.

  22. Anybody watch any of that snooze fest where lyin biden read the speech his handlers wrote for him?

I watched some of it. I particularly liked the part where he went on and on about the "bipartisan" infrastructure bill. How he negotiated a "bipartisan" version. How great he is. That they cut a lot out to get a "bipartisan" deal.

Then he goes on to say he wants a separate bill with everything they negotiated out put in it, to pass in tandem with the "bipartisan" one.

So they give up nothing, and those dipshit RINOs who thought they were actually negotiating with these lying commie rat bastards came off as stupid as we already thought they were.

You don't negotiate with commies. They're lying shitbags and cannot be trusted with anything.

  23. I live in the mountains surrounded by BLM land. Bureau of Land Management. They manage the forests and open land all around us. What they don't handle, the Federal Forestry Service does.

Lyin biden has nominated a woman named Tracy Stone-Manning to head the BLM. She favors population control and eco terrorism. Tree spiking is extremely dangerous. Driving steel spikes into trees being harvested for lumber. Workers have been injured and almost killed when those massive saw blades hit an unseen steel spike.

    From FOX news:

"Stone-Manning has admitted that she sent a letter to the US Forest Service on behalf of her friend and former roommate John Blount in 1989, when she was a graduate student at the University of Montana. The letter revealed that 500 pounds of “spikes measuring 8 to 10 inches in length” had been driven into trees in Idaho’s Clearwater National Forest…

The letter warned officials that the trees “were marked so that no workers would be injured and so that you a–holes know that they are spiked. The majority of the trees were spiked within the first ten feet, but many, many others were spiked as high as a hundred and fifty feet.”

“P.S., You bastards go in there anyway and a lot of people could get hurt,” concluded the letter, which was obtained by Fox News last week.

These are the people biden's commie handlers want running our government.

  24. The commies in charge of California are trying to stop all logging in California, including harvesting salvable lumber from wild fires and logging fallen dead trees which are a major source of wild fires.

  25. So cameltoe finally goes to the border. 400 miles from where the crisis is. So the commie media can pan around with their cameras and say "See? No crisis here. All made up by FOX news". Meanwhile thousand pour across the border at the actual break point.

This isn't a crisis. This is exactly what they want.

  26. They have already lost. That's why the legislation will get further and further from reality and America first policy. Joe gaffes and whispers, Kamel the toe gets heckled, and cringily laughs. Internationally even. Media eats it up, while Americans watch in angry horror. They are merely clearing the house and senate and don't even know it. Commies are stupid. There's no end game, no strategy to their play. Just incremental destruction, and leveraged chaos in opportune situations. Crisis never goes to waste, right.

We need to hold on, and stop the hordes of un-American commies for just a bit more. But we should be used to this. It's in our blood and national birthright. Resist every faction, and blow back in the face of even the weak commie minions we interact in our everyday lives. Be strong leaders, never cowering. Be American. Folks, LIVE FREE, OR DIE.

Hey bwadee, let me know who you are "reporting" us to. I'll happily send them a few dozen of the comments you post, filled with personal insults, vulgar language and generally nasty things. I've saved some of the worst just for that purpose.

You know friends, there are literally thousands of blogs out there just like ours. People who are sick of what they are seeing in this country and share their views and discuss it. And I'm sure each of them has a few trolls like we do, constantly stalking them and hounding them. And I'm sure the web sites that host blogs get thousands of complaints from the Karens and the bwadees out there wanting them to shut up people and quit letting them enjoy the free expression of ideas that America was built on. And I'm sure they pretty much ignore them all.

No doubt if given the chance, bwadee the troll boy would try to convince us he has the ear of some person somewhere who is sympathetic to his blathering idiocy. But it's bullshit. This isn't the CJ Urinal, a sad sack local paper run by leftist commie idiots who allowed these morons to rule the roost. This is the real world.

But here on America's Blog, trolls die in the que. Nothing they post ever gets read and never will. And you don't even want to read the things he says about each of you. Nasty, hate filled things.

So post away bwadee. We just select all, delete. Takes five seconds and you're gone forever. And "report" away, Karen. Try to find the manager to scream at like your fellow Karens that are everywhere. Give it all you got. We'll still be here. We'll still be posting blogs and comments. And we'll still be standing up for freedom over tyranny and exposing the democrat/communist party for the miserable commie rat bastards they are.

So do you best, you whiny little bitch. We ain't going anywere.

  29. So dementia joe, or whoever actually tells him what to say, says bills enforcing women only competing in women's sports is the "most unamerican thing he's ever seen.

So it's unamerican to make sure that only women compete in women's sports. We have dozens of examples now of men who "decide" they are women. Men who were unable to compete in men's sports. So they "decide" to become women and suddenly they are winning competitions. And the left goes crazy if you try to point out that men are inherently stronger and faster than women. It's a fact. And "deciding" you are a woman doesn't change that.

Why does the democrat/communist party hate women so much? Probably just because they are Americans, and they hate America. And this is just one more way to disrupt and destroy our society.

    ReplyDelete
  30. You know we're winning, don't you? I know sometimes even I get down and wonder if we really are losing our country. But we're not.

The democrat/communists really don't have a long term plan. They have a very tiny tenuous grip on our government, and as they found out they can't pass anything by the Senate. And they know this next election they will lose the House and the Senate.

Their plan is to leverage any and every event to create chaos. The death of a career criminal thug overdosing on fentanyl at the hands of a cop was used to foment a year of murderous riots and destruction like America has never seen. Two billion in damage. Multiple people murdered. Tens of hundreds of cops injured. Businesses burnt to the ground. Jobs lost. Neighborhoods destroyed. And for what? What changes? America grew to hate these people more than ever. And no real goal achieved. No end plan. Just chaos and destruction.

That's the plan. Take every opportunity to wreak havok on America. They have no idea how to actually win more seats in congress. Everything they are doing is guaranteed to lose them seats. Americas in a majority hate the stuff they do. But the communist plan of action has always been to create chaos, create enough destruction and spit people up enough that they can step into the void and take over.

But they know they have a year and a half to pull it off. And they're trying hard to establish enough ways to cheat the election that they can steal another one. But they won't have the chinese flu this time. They won't have a locked down America, ready to do whatever they ask. Or at least I hope not. It's possible they have another virus ready to go if they have to. But I think they know America is awake now and won't stand for that totalitarian bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  31. All I ask of the crazy commies is to keep doubling down.
Everytime they do, more and more leave their side of the argument.

For example, defunding the police in inner cities has caused crime to skyrocket. Now they want to re-fund the police and can't find cops and want send therapists to dangerous violent situations?

    Or

Not backing a voter ID that over 70% Americans do? My goodness, gotta have an ID to get a library card, liquor store runs, drive a car, buy a gun, etc...
But the poor blacks don't have money, computers, or transportation to get what cost an average of 12$ nationally to get?

Yep, batshit crazy. America sees it, especially those vulnerable.
But please, continue... Thanks for the house and the senate.

  44. The further we get down this road, the more folks and details that come out about Wuhan, I find myself getting more uncomfortable existing on the same planet with the authoritarian/commie style Gov't the chicoms have and every one of their officials.

Read on DBR today that China has seriously looked into race targeting bio-weapons research. Targeting certain races.

I hate violence. Abhor it. But actions like that compel the thought of a coming conflict and the strife that it brings in tow. And the duty to win the fight.

This planet has no use for the chicom govt. Or their handlers, enablers, or financial helpers.
They hate the planet, apparently all ecosystems and non-Asian humans. I fully understand if the rest of the planet hated them back.

Somebody should tell them Patriots won't roll over like ten thousand school kids protesting in a square. I'm sure about that.
What the west has given them, can be taken away.
Pretty sure that would be okay after what I read today.

  48. So the democrat/communists suddenly realized America hates the commie idea of defunding the Police, which they have openly supported for a year now. Sure, they lie about it but we know who supports it and who doesn't.

So in that giant boondoggle of a bill they tried to ram through pretending it was chinese flu relief, they stuck in some piece about funding the police. So when the Republicans rightfully voted against it, now they and their demcom controlled media are crowing about how it's the Republicans who support defunding the Police.

Shameless and a bold faced lie.

Here's a fact. Police are funded locally. Federal funds for law enforcement come only in the way of grants. Grants with lots of paperwork and strings attached. Mostly grants to buy equipment (that they approve of). Police departments take advantage of federal grants because it frees up other money for more practical purposes. But it's a tiny fraction.

So voting against trillions in demcom reckless partisan spending isn't voting for defunding the police. And saying so is a reckless lie, typical of the democrat/communist party and their propaganda machine.

    ReplyDelete
  49. The demcoms are bailing on the defund the police idea I suspect. They must have finally figured out it is a stupid idea to embrace and the people hate it. So I bet we won't be hearing that useless crap anymore, and now they're trying to blame Republicans for their invention. One more demcrom commie apparachik failure.

These people just aren't very smart. Which is why they are headed for a massive and painful loss next year. America stands ready to punish them for exactly this kind of bullshit.

  53. Sarge, you're right about that. This guy is a particular kind of strange. He posts more comments than all of us put together. Not one of them ever gets seen. He posts comments insulting specific people, as if he thinks they can see them. Maybe he doesn't understand, only the moderators see the comments and we delete them on sight. But he just keeps on.

Guess all his bitch ass whining and complaining isn't getting him anywhere. No posts removed. No comments removed. No stern warnings from Daddy Google about anything we say. So the little insignificant speck of fly shit is doing the same thing with them he does with us. Wasting his time, getting deleted unread.

It's pretty hilarious. This guy lives in an imaginary world where people listen to him when in fact the whole world ignores him. Sad. Mental illness is a terrible disease. Hope he gets help someday.

Supreme Court allows government to detain people who repeatedly cross border illegally
by Nicholas Rowan, Staff Writer | June 29, 2021 03:37 PM

The Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled that the federal government can detain people who repeatedly enter the country illegally while their asylum hearings play out in court.

The decision, which split the court's conservatives and liberals 6-3, was a win for supporters of tighter immigration regulations. Justice Samuel Alito, writing in the court's majority opinion, said that noncitizens who come back into the country after having been deported show "a willingness to violate the terms of a removal order" and can't be given the option of bail for that reason.

Alito added that there were "obvious" reasons to treat repeat offenders more harshly. Chief Justice John Roberts, as well as Justices Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, joined him in that opinion.

Thomas joined Alito's opinion but added that he would have dismissed the case for lack of jurisdiction.

Justice Stephen Breyer, who led the court's liberals in dissent, said that the facts of the case tilted his opinion more toward the noncitizens. In the case, a group of Salvadoreans who had been deported illegally reentered the country after they faced the fear of torture at the hands of gangs in their home country.

“Why would Congress want to deny a bond hearing to individuals who reasonably fear persecution or torture, and who, as a result, face proceedings that may last for many months or years,” Breyer wrote in his dissent, arguing for leniency.

An appeals court found that the noncitizens were eligible for bail. Other appeals courts, however, were split on the question, which prompted the Supreme Court to take up the case.

These people who break the law and violate our sovereign existence should "feel" the long arm of American Law.

I'm not going to applaud SCOTUS for this decision. It is refreshing though, that we saw a decision in line with American law.

I consider it a badge of honor that my state knows the difference between a ding-dong and a coochie. And the courage to keep with biological science in our beliefs.

I judge not, and care less of folks personal choices and "feelings". But let's not fool ourselves into making "disphoria and delusion" mainstream and normalize it. Not making it a stigma, but it's not normal, people. Normal behavior doesn't end up with a 75% suicide rate.

Anyone who chooses to disagree? That's cool, but you obviously haven't studied or read up on the "Money" family from years ago. Real science comes from books, not your silly Facebook pages.

  57. The BLM (burn, loot, murder) terrorist group from LA is suing Santa Monica because the cops arrested a few rioters in a one day riot that broke out. They claim it was a "peaceful protest" and the cops used excessive force. In fact the Mayor of Santa Monica stood the Police down because she was sympathetic to the terrorists. Here is what happened that day. One day:

The city counted 178 incidents of nonresidential “looting,” 49 incidents of vandalism, 10 assaults on officers, 18 damaged police cars, 12 arsons, 17 aggravated assaults and nine burglaries associated with the unrest that day, among other crimes.

And the terrorists are suing the city. What a world we live in. Amazing.

  58. The lyin biden administration is dragging their feet at getting the Afghanistan interpreters out of the country. These are people who helped us in the war immeasurably and put themselves and their families at great risk. Seems like it's suddenly "difficult" to get the proper paperwork and visas and such. So those folks are facing certain death because biden could care less.

Now if you're an illegal alien coming across the Mexican border, you're welcome. No paperwork needed. Come on in. In fact, we'll house you until we can relocate you somewhere in the middle of the country. If your family couldn't make the trip, we'll send a plane for them. We'll give you welfare and free healthcare. Just walk right in.

But people who aided us and whose lives are actually at risk, sorry for your luck. Big paperwork snafu, you know. Good luck with the Taliban, though.

She was truly a glamourous model who brought fashion and style to the White House. But the hatred of the media caused them to shun her. Now they think jill biden is the fashion plate. Typical of the commie rat media. They are just good little apparachiks working for the party.

  60. Hammer, fortunately that ban only applies to state travel. State employees aren't allowed to travel to those states or attend any events or conferences.

This is due to those states not sufficiently supporting commie dogma applying queers. I you don't believe the same way they do, you're unworthy.

I'm sure this kind of stuff really helps people accept queers. As in "you will believe what we tell you or else".
