Another attempt to embarrass Trump blows up in their faces...

Hmm, what to talk about today?

Hey I know, let's talk about how the Philadelphia Eagle's attempt to embarrass the president blew up in their stupid faces.

Yeah, let's go with that.

In keeping with tradition President Trump and something like 1,000 Eagles fans were set to host the team (the whole team) at a ceremony in their honor at The White House.

Everything was set and ready to go.

Then out of the blue the team announced that instead of the 70 plus members of the team showing up they were going to send 8 or 10 people instead.

Trump's response?

Screw you and your team... You're all uninvited.

And once again all we heard from the media was how mean Trump is.

He's a racist.

He's undoing years of tradition.

He's destroying our democracy.

My response?

Screw the Eagles, screw the media, screw the social justice warriors, and screw the NFL.

We couldn't care less about your political views.

Those of you thinking about punking out and embarrassing my president had better come up with one hell of a plan.

He's going to throw it right back at you every time.

In the meantime while the social justice warriors are busy making asses out of themselves President Trump is busy creating the strongest economy this country's ever had.

For the first time in the in history there are more job openings than there are people on unemployment.

Basically it boils down to the fact that anybody that wants a job can get a job.

Of course you might have to throw that Gender Study's degree you borrowed tens of thousands of dollars to obtain away and have to actually work for a living.

Or.

Or you can just sit there crying like you've been doing for the last year and a half.

It makes no difference to me.

  1. I don't give a good shit about any football teams anymore, I will not cave to a bunch of over paid assholes, who out right disrespect the Country that makes them what they are. And I enjoyed College football last year. But I always have NASCAR.

  2. And these fools think they're winning.

All they're really doing is turning the American people against them and creating more Trump supporters by the day...

  3. I'm with Sarge, last year was the first autumn I've not watched any NFL while I've lived in the US. (Ex-pat years don't count, as you wouldn't believe how Germans and Arabs find our football game to be simultaneously confusing and boring.) Although my interest has been waning by the year - in the 70s I was a fanatic. 1973 season I even worked ground crew at the old Cleveland Municipal.

This time, I think my give-a-damn is busted for good. The college game is more fun, the players aren't millionaires, and one weekend afternoon blown watching a game is enough.

But Sarge ... NASCAR? ... Really? On to some REAL racing, who's gonna win the Belmont Stakes on Saturday? The President has attended that race often (albeit when he was a private citizen).

I wonder if Boz and Minnow have turned into Eagle fans? I know Boz would have to give up the Foreskins, er, I mean "Redskins," but their mascot is Politically Incorrect already, so it's probably a lock.

    2. Um, Howdy you need to get out a bit more. The Caps are one win from the Stanley Cup. Pen Quarter- Chinatown erupts with thousands of fans.. the city is full of large screen videos to watch. Post victory celebrations focus on the steps of the Smithsonian National Museum of American Art / National Portrait Gallery. The building will be 200 years old before long... Lincoln had his Second Inaugural Ball there in one of the larger rooms, the rest was used to nurse wounded Union Troops at the time. Nice to see this area ground zero for celebrations with no rioting, glasses all intact... Who cares what Cadet Bone Spurs draft dodger in chief does. He'll be gone before long. In the time being this is what's going on here. NASCAR ? Really NASCAR ? LMAO... well pop that Ole Mill and chug-a-lug. Check it out

    3. The Cappies finally get a Stanley Cup and the town goes bonkers. Over a bunch of beefy white guys. Whodda thunk? That's nice, Boz, I feel great for you. And while I must admit the KC Scouts and Hartford Whalers never amounted to much in the NHL, the Islanders did just fine for years. When the wife was teaching her night class at Hofstra Law, I used to go see the Isles play all the time. Interestingly, the Topeka Roadrunners got bought out and will now be the Topeka Pilots.

Look Boz, what athletes do on their own time is all theirs. Game time, it's play. The NHL and MLB seem to understand that. I no more care what some ball carrying millionaire thinks about polly-ticks than what some Hollywood "star" thinks. If I can use a word as strong as "thinks" for what goes through their vacuous skulls.

Boz, I've already said until I'm "blue" in the face that you're welcome to the attractions of D.C.. As for my getting out - Riga, then Stockholm again in August. That gettin' out enough for ya?

    5. Ian it is highly offensive that you have no shame in taking Jesus' name in vain and to blend it with hell - your unwarranted childish insults are one thing, when you cross the line to use Jesus' name in a derogatory manner - that is another thing all together. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    6. So Boz, you can't even argue with your ol' Oakland buddy without cussing. As the Pres would say - Sa-aa-ad.

What would people think if I used that sort of language in proceedings?

Yep, Boz, I think the election took your sense of humor from you. Is that a valid diagnosis?

  4. I don't blame President Trump one bit - as far as I'm concerned, this is another blemish on the NFL and it's the NFL's fault!

In reading through some of the online news.....I came across this tidbit that the Obama Administration underhandedly aided Iran!!!!

What bothers me is that little tidbits here and there make their way to the media but there's not one sign of anyone arresting Obama and his co-horts. What gives?!!!

To see if this was true or not, I did a broad search of Obama secretly aiding Iran.... for now I'll just post these weblinks....

  6. So Boz, how about discussing the subject he brought up instead of some snarky insults? Because medicine is a ways away from those subjects you enumerated, too. Yep, so is law and medieval history. So what? A fact is either a fact or it isn't. I haven't heard you argue with the facts concerning the volcanoes.

You can say what you want about Trump.

As far as I know Melania Trump has never done anything to anybody.

  17. She didn't run fun office.

And as far as I know she's never said a disrespectful thing to anyone.

But people like Blue and his ilk treat her as though she was the worst person on earth.

At any rate, as you imply there's a difference between family members who put themselves out there (HRC) and ones that don't (Laura Bush, Michelle Obama and Melania Trump). "Issues" like literacy, school lunches and the like don't make you fair game. Health care, for example, does.

  19. Last year after President Trump's Inauguration, I signed up to receive emails. Today's email has a lot of encouragement that the previous Administration seriously lacked.

"500 days of making government for the people"

Americans deserve accountability from their government, President Trump says. Through the first 500 days of the Trump Administration, the President has refocused the Federal bureaucracy to make sure that voters are truly in charge of Washington:

    • President Trump has issued multiple Executive Orders that reform the Civil Service, including making union contracts open to public inspection, cutting down on taxpayer-funded union activities at Federal agencies, and easing the process to remove poor-performing workers.

    • The Administration is operating under a "One Federal Decision" memorandum of understanding for infrastructure, which puts the burden of coordinating complex permitting reviews on Federal officials, not applicants.

    • Despite obstruction from Congressional Democrats, the President has appointed a record number of Federal judges who are interpreting the law as it is written, promoting federalism, and standing for Constitutional liberties to combat government overreach.
