    I will never forget, and I will never attain peace on this issue. Why? Because peace can be used for evil as well as for good, and never more perniciously as on this issue.

    When the issue of torturing terrorists comes up, this is all it should take to justify doing everything humanly possible to obtain information that could save American lives.
