It's funny how these mealy mouthed corporate woketards think they can sit there in their cubicle and dictate to tens of thousands of workers what they're allowed to say, think, and believe.
If this were an isolated case it probably wouldn't be worth paying attention to. Truth is, this kind of shit is becoming today's new normal.
One corporation after another has either bowed to leftist demands or they fully embrace them outright.
Policies are being put in place that state an employee can be terminated for social media posts deemed offensive or even controversial whether it was posted this morning after you clocked in or if it was posted a year ago while were on vacation.
And the most troubling thing is that these piece of shit unions whose only reason for existing is to look out for their dues paying members are allowing it to happen.
Anyway, back to Goodyear. The whole thing would have gone unnoticed had it not been for one anonymous employee with the guts to call them out on it.
That particular employee went to the media with the story, and as they say, the rest is history.
Well actually, it's not history at all. With President Trump getting involved by urging people not to buy Goodyear tires, it's quickly becoming a national story as it should be.
Don’t buy GOODYEAR TIRES - They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS. Get better tires for far less! (This is what the Radical Left Democrats do. Two can play the same game, and we have to start playing it now!).
Goodyear is suddenly in full retreat and damage control mode. They've released a statement denying they made, distributed, or included it in any of their "diversity training" videos.
I hope that turns out to be the case here.
Because if it is, it could mean some junior level, cubicle dwelling woketard took it upon themselves to include it in the training video and right about now they're shitting their pants and worrying about their own job.
We'll see how it plays out.

As far as the comment approval thing goes it all took place before I came aboard.

From the way I heard the story they started taunting Safe and McGinty about how they would comment about anything they wanted and as often as they wanted and there wasn't a damn thing they do to stop them.
Long story short. McGinty stopped them dead in their tracks.
Thanks, I do remember Blue or some guy that claimed to be a doctor causing issues. As you can tell I don't get on here much or other blogs, just as soon not let government and the companies that gather information be looking at me. Not that I do anything wrong, but there are agencies out there that will take things out of context to make them fit their own agenda.

ReplyDeleteDive, good to see you. We had to go the comment moderation route because we had a couple of specific trolls that were posting comments that were particularly nasty, profane, insulting and racist. We would delete them as fast as they posted them, but that just made them post more.
ReplyDeleteSo our options were, make the blog a members only blog, moderate all comments or no comments. We chose moderate because that allows everybody to comment, just causes a short delay. And we can just delete sight unseen the comments from the trolls.
Interesting thing, up until a few days ago one of the trolls was posting comments at a rate of a dozen or more every day. They were deleted without anybody reading them, they only got seen by us in the que pending moderation. Even knowing that this moron kept posting every comments every day, only to have them deleted unread. Just shows how stupid these people are.
And the troll wasn't the fake internet butt doctor. He really wasn't a troll. He is a democrat/communist who posted his assigned talking points like a good little apparachik. Well, he was a bit of a troll, he did get pretty nasty at times. But, problem solved.
And the fires here have been close at times, there was a big one that took almost a month that was just a few miles away. But we're not in any danger and probably won't be. But the air is thick with smoke. I can't even see the mountains which are a few miles away. It's from all the fires below us. The canyon draws the smoke up here to our little valley.
California is on fire, literally. Somewhere close to 350 fires burning right now. God must be pretty pissed at these heathens. They've been laughing at Him and blaspheming Him for years. Maybe he's had enough. The commie governor has closed the churches but allowed the protests. John McArthur has opened his church for normal operation in the face of threats from Newsom. He says he answers to God, not Caesar. The lawsuits are happening, and the commies are threatening him. He doesn't care. And neither does God.
Saw B-Ho bama's speechifying last night. He pretty much greenlighted the riots, heaping praise on them. Guess that's pretty much out in the open now. But then, he did have the black live terrorists group to the white house to show them how much he appreciated them. That's when they were just chanting for dead cops, but had only killed a few.

At least two caucus meetings at this week’s Democratic National Convention began with recitations of the Pledge of Allegiance that omitted the phrase “under God.”
Two videos posted online — one of the person kicking off a Muslim meeting, and the other starting an LGBT meeting — showed the Pledge being recited incompletely.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And to the republic for which it stands. One nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all,” delegate A.J. Durrani said at the start of the DNC’s “Muslim Delegates and Allies Assembly.”
Among the people who attended the Muslim assembly, according to David Brody of the Christian Broadcasting Network, were Sen. Bernie Sanders, Rep. Rashida Tlaib and DNC Chairman Tom Perez.
Mr. Brody posted both videos on Twitter on Wednesday, the second of which featured an unnamed person beginning the gay assembly.
In that video, the pause surrounding the part of the Pledge that includes the phrase “under God” is much longer and more deliberate than in Mr. Durrani’s recitation.
Mr. Brody’s posting of the video earned jeers from liberals and Democrats who said they were fine with not saying “under God” during the pledge.
“‘Under God’ is a McCarthyite addition to the Pledge and its inclusion is offensive to, among others, Orthodox Jews, Atheists, some Christian sects, some Muslims, and polytheists. It was deliberately inserted into the Pledge to offend at least one of those groups and likely more,” claimed one Twitter user.
Another added, “Good. I always leave out that part anyway. It’s nonsense.”
The phrase was not part of the Pledge when Congress first officially codified it in 1942 (it dates back in various forms to 1906). It was added in 1954 under a bill signed by President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
“From this day forward, the millions of our school children will daily proclaim in every city and town, every village and rural school house, the dedication of our nation and our people to the Almighty … In this way we are reaffirming the transcendence of religious faith in America’s heritage and future; in this way we shall constantly strengthen those spiritual weapons which forever will be our country’s most powerful resource, in peace or in war,” Eisenhower wrote.

Some asshole complains about an employee's private facebook page, for example. They're pretend offended about something. So they bitch to the right person at the person's workplace. Some left wing commie takes it and runs with it, even bringing in some cohorts to back them up. Typically the true management team doesn't know about it, and never will. But the godless commies make some guy's life miserable, make him delete his facebook account and drag him through the mud. All to advance the commie totalitarian fascist narrative.
It happens all the time. I've worked several places and consistently found HR departments to be a bunch of liberals who are filled with self righteousness and hypocrisy.
I'm sure Goodyear made the mistake of turning one of these little weenies loose without adult supervision and now they are paying dearly for it. Maybe this will start a trend and get company management to actually oversee what this little commie apparachiks are doing, and start overseeing them.
Because the damage to our country from these commies infiltrating companies is serious. And the turdball who did this one needs to be fired. And Goodyear needs to apologize to it's hard working employees.
And if the Goodyear union had any balls at all they would be shouting at the top of their voice, but they are a typical union, in the pocket of democrat/communists. They give them all their donations and get political favors in return, so don't look for shit from those cowards.
SSAH - I have worked several places and I can assure you HR is not the employees friend. I have sat in numerous meeting with heads of HR and I can tell you with out a doubt, if an employee complains HR will work with the manager on ways to get rid of the employee. Trust me, HR is not your friend.

Some godless fascist out there reads it, decides that can't happen. No free speech! What does Joe think, he lives in America? So he does his homework and finds out Joe has a job. And the commie fascist seeks out Joe's workplace HR department, knowing he has a better than average chance of finding a fellow apparachik there. And he does.
So the commies drag Joe in for the inquisition. The Brown Shirts grill Joe. Threaten his job. Promise he will be fired if he keeps expressing his private free speech.
What's Joe to do now? Quit his job? Lose his benefits, probably whatever retirement he has? Try to find another job? Fully expecting his current employer will submarine him with fake bad references as punishment for being a free speaking American?
Or keep posting. Let them fire him. Then what? Does Joe have the money to hire a lawyer and go after a big corporation? With a bunch of commies running the HR department creating lie after lie? Of course not.

Not that I'm any different from the rest of you here.... I've endured much, next year I'll be 60. My growing up years were not good, but my Mom did the best she could with the hand she was dealt (so to speak). A dad (who was not an honorable man - piss poor excuse of a husband to my mother, a piss poor excuse of a father, and a piss poor excuse of a grandfather) who walked out constantly and when he was home he may as well have been permanently gone - he was all for himself. We had to get help and food, welfare, at different times when i was growing up. Through out my years I've been taken advantage of by family, co-workers -
My husband was a "God send" to me more than any of you will know. My husband, kids, inlaws.... they all have been wonderful to me. I am blessed with them.
As far as the people who have lied to me, taken advantage of me, bullied me.... I'm at the age when i see shit coming - I dish it back bigly.

They are hard to fine, Amazon said they would have some on Aug 30 for about $23.00 for 24 lids. Other places I checked that were out had a normal price for just wide mouth lids at around $4.00 for 12. BTW I dropped my prime 3 months ago when all Amazon could do was BLM on their pages. Black lives are not any more important that any other lives and I get tired of all that crap of singling out one race.

DeleteStrange you mention that, last Monday we woke up and a bat was flying around the bedroom. I caught it and tossed outside. Later I was sitting outside enjoying nice cool morning and googled something like "capturing bat in bedroom when woke up". Seen a hit from Mayo clinic, thought what that got to do with anything, so clicked on it. Mayo Clinic said if you wake up with bat in bedroom you should get rabies series of shots. Said bats can bite a sleeping person and you would never know it because of small sharp teeth. I thought that is BS and checked several more places and all said same thing. Then called Shawnee Health Clinic, they said same thing as Mayo and that you had to go to ER. I still didn't believe it and call doctor's office, yea they said same and they couldn't give shots had to go to ER. Crap went to ER thinking they would laugh, but they said it was correct and they get it a lot. Said if you get rabies it is 100% death sentence. So we got the shots and still have a couple more shots to go. We had some cuts and marks on us, but don't know if they were from working outside or a bite?? Seems like you would wake up if you got bitten, but all these medical people said you might not know. Must have got in from out chimney? Was talking with Joe Steinbock later and he said he has got a lot of calls this year to get bats out of chimneys.

So the commies have a new focal point to riot about, not that they needed one. They are demanding "justice" for the thug that got shot by the cops while going for a gun.
ReplyDeleteJustice has been served. The video clearly shows the officers with weapons drawn commanding the criminal to stop. He refused. He proceeded to go to his vehicle and try to retrieve something. The cops with weapons pointed have no choice at that point but to assume he is retrieving a gun. They are trained and expected to stop the threat. If it took seven rounds, then it took seven rounds.
That situation is extremely dangerous for a cop. If the criminal turned around with a gun and started firing at point blank range, we have dead cops. And when he refused to stop what he was doing, the cop has no choice but to assume he has a weapon.
There was an easy solution to this at any point. Stop walking away from the officers. Show your hands. Submit to a search. Then if the criminal was innocent, situation resolved. But every cop knows when a suspect acts like this guy did, he's up to no good. And in the current environment we are living in, you can pretty much guarantee it.
But that won't stop the commies. Next up is Plugs Biden and the kimono demanding "justice" for the criminal. Just wait, it's coming. Commies stick together. And after all, B-Ho and mrs B-Ho both praised the rioters and the commies and encouraged them to keep up the bad work.
I don't know how any cop can keep this up. They are being pressured now to just let criminals commit any crime they want and then just walk away. And it' getting worse by the day. The democrat/communist party is lawless, racist and filled with violent hate for America.
Trump will win by a landslide. The commies are doing the work for us.
More information on the thug who got shot. The cops were called because he was threatening people with a knife. On the way, they were informed he had a warrant due to his sexual assault charges pending. So they knew they were dealing with a violent dangerous thug.

When he said that, he sealed his fate. When he went to his car and tried to retrieve something, he earned a shooting.
This was entirely on him. The officers did nothing wrong. The only flaw I see is how they shot him seven times from that close and he lived. Somebody needs some firearm training.
And the riots and looting have fired up again. But they have nothing to do with this thug that got shot. This is just the excuse they were looking for to start looting, burning and vandalizing again.

NBC this morning had a poll on this question.. They had the highest number of responses that they have ever had for one of their polls, and the percentage was the same as this:
86% to keep the words, 14% against.. That is a pretty 'commanding' public response.

ReplyDeleteHere in commie land apparently when I got my drivers license they automatically sign you up for mail in ballot. Last election we went to the polling place and they said we had to bring our mail in ballot, we couldn't just vote. Fortunately we live right by the fire station where we vote, and I has saved the ballots so we could vote. This time we will take our ballots to the polling place and vote and submit them where we can see them. I don't trust these damn dirty democrat poll workers out of my sight. I'm sure a lot of ballots from this area disappear. We vote Trump up here.
If they sent me two ballot my mail applications then some one is at sleep at the wheel. Who is checking to see if I was mailed a application? I think it should be turned in but who would I contact. As much as I would like to mail these two back in I dont want to screw up the system? and not get to vote. Thats why i am holding on to them and I will go in person. I sure would like to know how this could happen. The libs claim thats it all good to go. Talk radio host Glenn Beck on Thursday issued a public mea culpa for fiercely opposing President Trump in 2016 and warning on air that Mr. Trump was an aspiring despot.
Mr. Beck said Mr. Trump proved him wrong on nearly every count, not only by keeping his seemingly impossible campaign promises but more importantly by displaying deep humanity.
“I am feeling so humbled this week. I feel truly horrible for the things I said and believed in 2016 about @realDonaldTrump,” Mr. Beck said in a series of tweets.
He sent out the apology as Mr. Trump prepared to accept the nomination for another term at the Republican National Convention.
Mr. Beck, who runs the conservative media empire TheBlaze TV, said in 2016 that opposing Mr. Trump was a “moral, ethical choice.”
“He proved me wrong at almost every turn,” he wrote in the apology tweets, noting that Mr. Trump delivered on a pro-life agenda, completely supporting Israel and standing up to China.
Mr. Beck recalled how he erroneously predicted Mr. Trump would take control federally at the first opportunity.
“Here we are in a massive crisis. Bush ‘violated the free market to save the free market,’” he said. “Trump could have violated federalism ‘to save federalism’ yet he has stood firm through COVID.”
The most painful mistake, he said, was doubting Mr. Trump’s empathy.
“I believed he actually didn’t care about people. When @realDonaldTrump called me after my father’s death, I assigned the motive to politics — AND SAID So. What haunts me this week is how my words must have hit his children.”
Mr. Beck also said he regretted not apologizing this week in an on-air interview with Mr. Trump’s son.
“I didn’t want to embarrass myself in the end and failed to do the right thing again,” he wrote.
Mr. Beck said he did not regret having doubts or expressing them on air but expressed disappointment in himself for not recognizing Mr. Trump’s humanity.
“I knew he loved his children and they him,” he said. “What I failed to see, is the reason I think they love him. @realDonaldTrump is a loud New Yorker with a private heart.”

Two thugs tried to disarm him and take his weapon and both got shot for their trouble, single shot each, assumed room temperature. Third guy approached him intending to assassinate him, got his arm blown apart and failed to get off a shot.
