I'm not saying we are fast approaching the end times spoken of in the Bible, but we might be. My question is, has God abandoned us? Has he abandoned America? And why would he do that?
Look around you. Fires. Plagues. Earthquakes. Drought. Devastating storms followed by triple digit heat for the folks wiped out with no power or water.
A government ruling over us that is obviously under the influence of Satan. Godless, hate filled people who want to destroy one of God's great creations, the United States of America. We've survived revolutions, invasions, wars, rebellions. And we've always been the greatest nation on earth. More people risen out of poverty here than anywhere in the world. This is the only country where if you want to work hard and persevere you can succeed to whatever degree you wish at whatever you want to succeed at. America has created more millionaires and billionaires than any country on earth. And maybe you want to serve God and be a missionary. You can do that as well.
And we've had the longest lasting constitution in history. Written in 1781, and it still stands, with a few amendments.
We've always had free and fair elections. We settled our differences as great Republics do. By electing our representatives. Until now.
The best education system in the world. The best heathcare system in the world. Until now.
But something changed. Just in the past 20 or 30 years. A new menace spread like a cancer on this great country. The democrat/communist party. Dragging us down. Working to destroy the civil society we worked so hard to keep alive. Teaching our children hatred and greed and envy. Slowly but steadily integrating communist theories into our very souls.
So where does God figure into all this?
God blessed this country at it's birth. We won the fight and survived because God provided for us. Our founders knew that. They knew this was a Christian nation blessed by God. So what happened? We turned our backs on Him. Democrats pushed him out of the public square. They cursed his name often and openly. They denied his laws and rejected his leadings. So, maybe he lifted his hand of protection.
This isn't a theological debate. This is just thinking out loud. But it seems like a lot is happening. The commies tell us it's global warming. But that's just pagan worship of the earth, of Satan. They tell us communism is taking over because the rich are greedy. When it's them who are greedy, demanding they be given the rewards of the hard working who earned them.
So what makes me think this might be true? This...

Of course, it was partly to win favor, but there's a more insidious reason. He wants to pull the ladder up behind him. He's made his fortune. And he pays little taxes because he has his wealth structured so it's tax sheltered. He's not drawing a paycheck. But there are thousands of people who have businesses that potentially can compete with his, and those owners are still paying taxes. So raise their taxes he says. So Grace Community Church in Sun Valley pastored by the great John MacArthur stayed open when the governor ordered all churches to close. They harassed him, they fined him, they got injunctions which he ignored. Now he sued the county and just got awarded $400,000. Justice prevails.

ReplyDeleteIt's almost impossible to get a conceal carry in California, with the exception of Kern County, where I live. I haven't done it yet, but I might. We have a great sheriff, Sheriff Donny Youngblood. When the chinese flu lockdown came, he was one of the first to say he would not be enforcing anything. Do what you want. Where I live the restaurants stayed open for business. And we had hardly any cases here. Which seems odd. Up here, during the peak maybe 50% of the people wore masks for a while, then almost nobody. Southern California locked down tight and mandated masks. You had to wear them. But up here there were few cases, almost no deaths. And Southern California it spread like wildfire. Kind of suggests the whole mask thing was just a control freak thing, like we all suspected.
My daughter hates Trump. She's pretty leftie. So we just don't talk politics or chinese flu or anything of the kind when we go see our grandson. Too bad, but it's been like this since 2007 when the Marxist from Kenya ran.

I am friends with a number of True Texans and they are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. John MacArthur and Grace Church settled for $800K and a Fresno church is getting $500K. That in addition to $1.35 million in attorney fees and costs in a settlement with Harvest Rock Church and $2.15 million in attorney fees and costs South Bay United Pentecostal Church and Father Trevor Burfitt and his ministries in two separate cases.
The commie rat bastards went after churches in California even though it was clearly unconstitutional, and the Supreme Court slapped them down. Now they are paying the price for it. And there are many more settlements in the works that just haven't been announced.

"He was shot in the face one time. He’s at the hospital. He’s going to live. He’s conscious and breathing right now," Houston Police Department Lieutenant R. Willkens said.
The incident unfolded Wednesday evening in Houston when the victim was walking to a local Shell gas station to make a few purchases, SBG San Antonio reported.
The suspect in the case was dropped off around the same time, and approached the victim by lifting his shirt to expose a gun and demanded he fork over any valuables.
The victim, however, was also armed and pulled out his weapon and shot the suspect in the face. The suspect is in the hospital and in police custody.
Additionally, no charges are expected to be brought against the victim, as he was defending himself.

The recall is on. I voted by mail. It's the least risky way to vote here. I live in a heavy conservative area that voted for Trump, but the polls are run by Southern California commies. You can tell just by looking at them. When I voted in 2020 they mailed ballots to every voter to facilitate their fraud. When we voted we had to go home and get our mail ballots to turn in so we could vote in person. And then our ballots went in the provisional box instead of directly into the machines. I'm sure it was all part of the big steal that happened.

The commies are claiming that hospitals are overloaded because of the chinese flu. Fact is, they aren't. They are understaffed because they are firing nurses who won't get the jab. They are required to have nurses to staff beds to admit patients. So when they claim they are full, there are lots of empty beds without patients because they won't let nurses work. It's a creation to force people to get the shot. Hospitals aren't even close to full.

The area we live in is solid Trump country. They vote for Trump. They are conservative. You see Trump flags and Trump 2024 bumper stickers and hats. It's better than living in the hive down south, but it's still California.
We talked to a realtor about Idaho. He looked for some houses and we just didn't find anything that would make it worth leaving the family.
So we'll stick it out. That's what families do, right? They don't abandon their children and run away to live in foreign countries to avoid being responsible, right? They do what it takes. Family first. So here we are. And here we stay.
