You can't say I didn't try...

According to some of the early comments, text messages, and emails I received today it was clear you guys wanted this guy booted.

But here's the deal.

You all know I can't block him. My only option is to go back to approving every comment as they come in.

During the day I might not get to them for a while and if they come in much later than 7:00 at night It'll be the next morning before your comment is posted.

The ball's in your court...

  2. Turns out it was a hell of a lot easier to make the whole blog go poof than to spend a lot of time going through them all.

Unless you guys say otherwise all comments will go back through the approval process.

Slow going but but that's my only other choice...

  3. Kevin, please do whatever is easiest for you. We all know he is a punk and in the future I will just ignore him and not read his lists. It is fun slapping him around.

    The Hill posted -
More voters would back former President Trump than President Biden in a hypothetical match-up if the 2024 election were held today, according to a new Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey released exclusively to The Hill.

Forty-eight percent of voters in the survey said they would back Trump, compared with 45 percent for Biden. Another 8 percent were unsure.

The results were evenly split at 46 percent among women, while men backed Trump by a margin of 50 percent to 43 percent. Biden won urban voters by 20 percentage points and suburban voters by 4 percentage points, but Trump romped among rural voters by 33 percentage points.

The poll comes as Biden plays defense on a slate of issues, including inflation, stubbornly high rates of coronavirus infections and the messy withdrawal from Afghanistan.

  13. Please excuse me (Particularly Rose!)I know that I made some nasty comments to Missy yesterday. The only one I wanted to offend is him or her or it, whatever Missy may happen to be! Just couldn't help myself! Really, just a typical Liberal gas bag who's only goal is to offend someone, or anyone who doesn't agree with it but will listen to it's trash! ( I'm really becoming "woke" now, calling Missy "It" rather than him or her, Right? LOL!)
Anyway, as it sits smuggley in it's basement, thinking about how it finally got it's shots in at room #235, but secretly wishing that it had even one friend that would stick up for it the way those in #235 stick up for each other, I almost feel sorry for it, but at the same time would like to see it choke on it's own spittle! 17. Abortion; That means that eventually the government will decide which children will die and which aged and infirm will die. And then they will come after you with no pretense.

For now, unofficial "public policy" is that you can be legally murdered before you are born, you can be murdered if you live in the inner city, and you are expected to — and pushed down the path to — expire when you retire. Too many people and too much consumption is a real and present crisis for the government.

It may not be official or stated, but you can be sure that population control to limit consumption is a serious government policy and program. As more and more consumption flows to non-producing people, the transfer of real resources reverses to these population segments. The tail begins to wag the dog. The economic system was designed to transfer real resources to the government. There is an economic agenda behind the unofficial policy of murder.

Legalized abortion (murder) and population control, even if they were not moral issues, should be opposed because they are inconsistent with human liberty and free enterprise.

But it is also a moral issue. And we must fight the prosecution of like-minded individuals who choose not to participate in the immoral activities being forced into their lives. Do not let them mold your Christian beliefs into their "Murder, Inc." multiculturalism.

It's imperative to protect yourself and your loved ones from plunder — that's physical harm through manipulation by the powers-that-shouldn't-be.

Those who do not will have surrendered their mind and body over to the tyranny of the murder for profit system.

  21. Over time this dumbing down system has created generations of people without knowledge and the ability to follow logic and reason.

As Thomas Jefferson wrote in a letter to Richard Price in 1789, "Whenever the people are well informed, they can be trusted with their own government; that whenever things get so far wrong as to attract their notice, they may be relied on to set them to rights."

Is this true any longer? Are we informed enough? Can we liberty lovers retake our country from the woke, progressive cancel culture warriors?

It is difficult, with the ever-widening divide between the statist elected class and its enforcers (government) and woke slaves, and us "deplorables."

Any red state resident of flyover country prefers to go about their daily business without interaction with or interference from anyone in or representing government. That is because government on almost all levels is at best oppressive, intrusive, unsympathetic and autonomic. The woke crowd wants government control in every instance....

  22. Just have to bring up how the stupid old bitch, Hillary Clinton is still whining about losing the election to Donald Trump back in 2016! Reading the speech, that was written for her when she was sure that she would win. LOL! What a sick joke she was and continues to be!
She's just another one in the continuing list of "old white people" that don't really care about the future of this country, because they have no real stake in the outcome other than trying to keep their power until they die and maybe setting up a situation for their family members to try to keep the power in the family after the old ones are gone.
It is really just a stupid, sick game, if you think about it. Just look at her, and people like George Soros, who are so rich that they are bored with their lives and have to play with other people's actual lives in order to feel worthwhile. They have no clue how it feels to have to decide between paying for gas for your car so you can go to work or spending the money on food and clothes for your family. They don't care if the government shuts down a family business due to the so-called Covid pandemic or makes it impossible for the business, it's owners, and it's workers to survive financially while the shutdowns continue to go on! They don't care if their lies cause ordinary people to be deprived of their human and natural rights, and be put under the thumb and control of the government. They don't care if the law refuses to act when ordinary citizens are harmed by other people and non-citizens are though more highly of than actual citizens.
I'm sure that we will never see REAL justice by seeing all or at least some, of these people locked up to pay for their sins, but I really would like the 2022 election to be a time of reckoning for those who want to destroy this country as we know it and what has made it great!

  39. Well folks, I hate to have to give this news but my doctor told me I needed to start letting people know what is going on with me health wise. This goes completely against my nature and I have put off not telling anyone for weeks. I found out I have a somewhat rare form of cancer. It is very aggressive and the outlook is not the best, but I will do everything the doctor asks me to do. The first step is a CT scan to track how far the cancer has spread, the next step will be a total hysterectomy, radiation then chemo for 18 weeks. The road will be long and hard but I am always up for a challenge. My first CT scan is scheduled for tomorrow and then we are off to the races.....as they say. Please don't feel sorry for me. My telling y'all this information is not to make anyone feel bad but rather I'm just getting it off my chest. My doctors told me it is very important to tell people because keeping it a secret and not talking about it creates a hard burden to carry and carrying that burden alone can make a person going through this even more sick. It doesn't makes sense to me but I will do what my doctor tells me to do. Again, I am very sorry for bring bad news to this wonderful blog. I know Kevin is going through the same situation with Linda and my heart still hurts for them. I send prayers every night asking for strength and comfort for Kevin, Linda and their family. If any of y'all believe in that sort of thing would you please say a prayer for me and my family? Thank you.

  43. Linda and I had several people telling us we should tell her doctors this and that. I had to explain to them that even though they meant well we were in no position to tell them anything.

From day one we've done everything they told us to do to the letter.

Some days we feel pretty good about her progress other days I'm scared to death.

She has another scan coming up in a couple weeks. That's one of the things I worry about most.

Keep your head up and stay focused on the fight ahead of you.

And continue to do everything your doctors tell you to do.

    God speed my friend...

  45. Thinking of you Rose and glad that you are ready to put up a fight! When my wife died 3 years ago from pancreatic cancer, she and we did not know about it until right up to the end. There was no time or opportunity to fight. My prayers include you and your family during this time.
I'm going back in this week for removal, a second time, of some melanoma on my neck. Certainly not close to what you Rose, and Linda, are and have been dealing with, but it lets me know that I have to keep alert of what is going on with my health and deal with it as soon and safely as possible, and it certainly doesn't hurt to have a little support and strength from the people you care most about!
Tis the season to count our blessings! Merry Christmas to all of you!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Thank you Kevin and Gary. It does help to have support. I have the scan with dye in my veins today. I am hoping the cancer hasn't spread to the lungs. I am a pretty optimistic individual so I will take it in stride. I mostly worry about my family members and my husband. I am sorry about you wife Gary. I remember when I heard the news. I'll do what I need to do and if I don't feel confident with my doctor I will go to M D Anderson in Houston. Thereare are so many really good facilities that treat cancer now days. I am really scared of the Chemo. 18 weeks of Chemo is a long time. But I am strong willed and will get through it in no time. My family is freaked out and they are all wanting to come visit in January. Crying and carrying on. They are actually upset because I am not upset. I am scared but I won't let them know that because I am the oldest and I need to set the example. LOL. Gary, I am glad you are taking care of your melanoma. That type if cancer can be very sneaky and deadly. I am sure you know that. No more sun for you.

  47. Just wanted to let those know who have been friends with me on Facebook, that my account got hacked a while back. Probably could have been a better way to fix it, but I ended up just starting a new account.
I've been trying to get the people who want to, to re-friend me. The problem seems to be that when I go to my "friends" home pages, they don't seem to have the friend request button where you can just ask them to friend you. FB must have changed that at some point, but anyway, sometimes even when I see those other places where you can ask people to friend you, I will click on them, people who were friends with me before, and FB will give me this message that THEY don't think that I know that person and won't let me send the a friend request! IT'S CRAZY! Sometimes I don't know why I bother! Oh Well!

    1. The first reason why the “Add Friend” button is not showing, has disappeared, or missing on Facebook is because the user has restricted their privacy settings. ... If you set the setting to “Everyone”, anyone that has an account on Facebook can add you as a friend. This setting is enabled by default.

  55. Sorry for the prolonged absence everyone. Lots happening. I last posted I believe over the early summer months. Got moved into our other house and prepping our old house for the market. Got a new roof on the old house and getting new guttering done, etc.

Working with the contractor to remodel the house we moved into (hubby's parents' house). Going to add a sunroom to the front of the house 16ft wide by 22ft long. Other changes going to be made to the house also. Too many changes to list here in this space.

We also had to replace the sewer line (at the old house) from the house to the alley way. and trouble comes double! had to replace the septic tank at our new house. Whammo... $$$$$. Ouch.

Getting caught up on the many threads of blogs, Kevin - hugs to you and Linda. Praying for her complete recovery. Hugs.

Earlier this month hubby and I came down with covid - got quarantined - luckily no one else in our family or people we were in contact with caught it. We're back among the public now since we've been released from the covid isolation.

Being away from my grandson was really hard during our isolation. Now back to being around everyone.

Christmas was messed up this year due to the isolation, so we've postponed until next month for our dinner get together.

Hoping everyone had a blessed and fun filled Christmas.

I just want to say that I hope everyone in the Bunker has a great and happy New Year filled with God's blessings of health and happiness!

Politically, I believe that 2022 will be when the rubber finally meets the road on the real direction of this country. Unless the Republicans actually DO SOMETHING rather than just talk about all of the stupidity that the Dems have dreamed up, will eventually become a nightmare reality! It would be hard for me to believe though, that some of the current crop of Republicans does not have the same priorities that the Dems have and simply talk a good game to keep getting elected.
i really don't think that Donald Trump should run again. I think we need either a Ron DeSantis or a Mike Pompeo to take over, new younger blood that can inspire and maybe encourage younger conservatives to get involved in the House and Senate. Don't get me wrong, I love Donald Trump and what he did and tried to do, but he is aging also. I want someone quick-witted and sassy to deal with all of these Demorat and Media assholes but one who also has a firm grip on what the Constitution allows and what needs to be done to encourage a resurgence of law and order, standing up to the real enemies, both foreign and domestic, and dealing with foreign matters in a way that these countries know that we mean business!
    Have a great 2022 everyone!

  59. It's small wonder that most people live paycheck to paycheck. Many were producers and savers, or should aspire to be such, but have been reduced to the crumbs of minimum wage by government regulations, dollar devaluation and socialist claptrap. Yet many also stay either lost in a fog of pop culture or agitated beyond reason by the divisive politics that are fed to us through the mainstream media. They don't know how to look beyond the noise.

My Dad used to say that the Lord takes care of drunks and fools. Well, that worked in his day, but it's more complicated now. We have the unprecedented problem of ignorance and mass deception, coupled with poverty and mass malnutrition. These are real problems and they are getting worse.

Exceptions are you, the loyal Bunker people, and may God bless you in this coming year. But also remember that God helps he who helps himself! Stay well folks....Could be a Shake Rattle and Roll year.

  60. Hope I didn't already post this...

Any prudent and wise person who is watching events in the U.S. would know that we are witnessing the last gasp of the elites in their desperate attempt to preserve the present system which is collapsing. The end can't be far away.

There will be no changes to stop the movement of events. Things happen as they are meant to happen. The American people are asleep. All politicians are just kicking the can down the road hoping that they can milk the system a while longer. The fat pensions that they hope for and expect will evaporate with paper money. They are numb to reality.

There is potentially great danger and great hardship ahead. All the government can do is print more money and keep promising everybody everything.

  63. Here's what I anticipate in 2022 and beyond:

Democrats have signaled they are all in on removing guns from the American people, and the Biden administration is willing to issue as many illegal executive orders and use emergency proclamations and "regulations" from the Department of Health to get their way. They are already doing this with "red flag"-type bills and amendments to remove weapons from "dangerous people" and eventually a true bill will pass Congress and be signed by the president. Under "red flag" laws, anyone can report to authorities that a person is potentially dangerous and law enforcement can confiscate his weapons. This is a blatant violation of due process, but the Constitution is meaningless in this day and age. There will also be moves — some successful, some not — to require insurance to own firearms, register to purchase ammo, etc. Economic gun control will continue with banksters and credit card companies squeezing gun and ammo manufacturers and sellers and big tech shutting down any information on weapons-related products. Americans will, by and large, capitulate. There has never been a more dangerous time to your liberties than now.
Big Tech will continue to stifle free speech. Conservative ideas will continue to be classified as "wrong-think" and shadow-banned if not banned outright. This is already underway.
Stagflation coming. It's already begun. Beprepared!!!

  66. We know Inflation is out of control, since it's the natural offshoot of money printing and artificially low interest rates. But inflation by itself is not so painful if your income is keeping pace. For most American workers and producers, it's not. That's what stagflation is all about — rising prices and stagnant wages. Biden will have to wear it as the market crashes. Another bursting housing bubble and bursting auto loan bubble will usher in another period of high inflation, high interest rates, rising unemployment and stagnant economy. Signals are flashing "Red Alert," and the Fed is fomenting it,
Gold and silver will break out again. As Notes From Underground pointed out recently, "The gold/currency spreads … have been a market response to the looming credibility gap of all central banks in a fiat currency world ... The move to buy the precious metals in the face of rising short-term interest rates is a response to concerns that the central banks have no answers to the trap of forward guidance and its mantra of lower for longer. My friends, there is no precedent for the current supply/demand imbalance in precious metals and even industrial metals. This is an investor's dream, and a saver's, too, where supply inelasticity meets rising demand. I hope that all of you can profit from this, but also, keep some gold or silver as a store of value if you can.

  67. Congress will pass some sort of vaccine mandate, which will be ruled unconstitutional by a federal court but will remain in place until the Supreme Court hears the case. It will just be another collectivist scheme that denies you health freedom.
The gay/trans cult will continue their drive to abject absurdity, and religious and economic liberty will continue to suffer because of it. Transgenderism is a mental disorder treated as science by the leftist social Marxists. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, about 0.6 percent (1.4 million) U.S. adults identify as transgender or "gender nonconforming." But by the way it dominates society, including gay and trans characters in nearly every TV show and advertisement you see, one would think there are 100.4 million transgenders rather than only 1.4 million.
War on the horizon. Biden pulled our troops out of Afghanistan. But globalists still want war with Iran (as a proxy war with Russia) and while China claims the entire South China Sea territory, its claims are in conflict with Vietnam, Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia and Brunei, each of which claim some portion of the area. The U.S. doesn't have an official position in either of these conflicts but would likely get involved.

  68. Civil war in America increasingly likely. There is great ideological and cultural divide in America now. Conversation and reconciliation between the two sides seems impossible at this point, and there aren't enough Libertarians to bridge the divide.
Medical privacy gone. Vaccine cards; COVID cards; medical travel passports; judges issuing search warrants allowing police to perform invasive medical procedures from blood draws to cavity searches to surgeries on unwilling people suspected of hiding or using drugs; OSHA performing analysis of health information to look for problems that may be occurring in the workplace that, in their words, "require targeted prevention." And did you know there's a National Center for Medical Intelligence? It's part of the Defense Intelligence Agency. According to NBC news, in order to spy on us, the "NCMI calls upon all sources of intelligence — from communications intercepts to satellite imagery to human source reporting — to seek answers … It also combs open sources, such as social media." Some of the worst public policies imaginable are justified by the political class under the mantra of "keeping you safe" and "for the children." Well that is the best information that I feel like passing on for the 1st day of the New Year, I hope it will make us all to think and act before it is to late... Lets Go Brandon!!!!!
