So I know you're all waiting for my analysis LOL

Are Ameriican voters stupid? Yup.

Pennsylvania actually elected a dead guy to the state legislature. And elected a brain dead deadbeat hulking neanderthal to the Senate. So yeah, there's some pretty stupid people out there, stupid defined as democrat. New York decided they liked out of control crime and elected a pro crime governor. Arizona went pretty much all blue and is trying to rob Kari of the elections she won. California re-elected Grusome Newsome, no surprise. Worst governor in America.

Abortion was on the ballot and passed pretty much everywhere it was. Voters raised minimum wage in several states.

What's wrong with these people? Who knows. They have turned their backs on God for one thing. America is living in the days of Noah, where every man did what was right in his own eyes.

This election shows us that America could be declining beyond hope of recovery. People are greedy, envious. Demanding those who work and earn share the fruits of their labors with those who refuse to work. Blaming the people who create the jobs for their troubles, instead of looking at their own lives and getting busy improving themselves. We have a Marxist president, and many members of congress.

I'm old enough to remember when communists were hated and exposed wherever they were found. It was accepted their goal was to overthrow our government. They were always known to be evil people. These days they run our country. Tailgunner Joe McCarthy was right, you know. He called it like it was and got destroyed by the communists who ran the media and hollywood. FDR had communists in his cabinet and was just an old Bolshevik at heart.

Is it any wonder we are seeing what we are? Sexual perversion is now normal. Actually enforced by law. Call a her a him and get cancelled.

We're looking at the end times, friends. We don't know when, but America and in fact the world are declining fast. The heathens are winning. Be prepared. Look to your families, your friends, your church and God.

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected.

2 Timothy 3

  1. As I see it its pretty much over with now. Grab what you can and hope and pray. You will need a lot of help from GOD. I just wonder if God will let this country and world go to saten or send a savior? He tried that once with Jesus and look how that ended. I could see the same thing happening again. Maybe God see's it the same way.

  2. Skippy, he already sent a Savior. Another one isn't needed. Jesus Christ was the Son of God, and the redeemer of our sins. God won't save the world from themselves and their bad decisions. I believe he's held back but as in the days of Noah, mankind just goes too far.

Not the first time his people demanded a King after he said no. And that one didn't work out too well. Study Saul and you'll see what I mean.

Look to the Savior we have, Jesus Christ. He sent him, and it worked out fine. Don't let political foolishness and the world degenerating into a depraved mess fool you. He told us that would happen. The Kingdom of God is here. It's his world no matter what we do. In the end, all will be judged. Not on what others did, but on whether you accepted the Savior he sent. Just that. Up or down.

  3. I don't much like the outcome of the midterm election either. Satan will do everything he can to turn our focus off of God.... the midterm elections is just another dastardly example. Don't forget about the Parable of the Weeds...
(NIV) Matthew 13:24-30. "The Parable of the Weeds
24 Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.

27 “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’

28 “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.

“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’

29 “‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’” "

In verse 30 the fate of the weeds is hell and the destination of the wheat is the barn, (i.e. Heaven), "First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn."

  12. Still wishing the best to Sarge and his family.

That aside, I have a ramble of things on my mind currently:

Since President Trump's twitter is now restored, it will be very interesting to see how this effects the Jan 6 commission.
His last two tweets and time stamps are important evidence. Probably the reason why they suspended him.
They stand as the public record of him definitively calling for peace, before and during the "peaceful" protest at the capitol, barring the murder of Ashley Babbit.

Another caveat is the fact that it gets increasingly harder to pursue investigations on the man, without it looking political even in the eyes of some democrats. Probably why he announced so early. My guess is they won't let him run or attempt to do so, and solidify the base. I bet the left doesn't have the brains to go "hands off" and let the current division in the base between DeSantis and Trump play out due to their TDS. The toxicity pf egos is our worst enemy, right now.
That would be the smart play. But, I would never accuse the mob to be smart. Ever. Only vindictive and destructive.

Going to be a long 23 months. Hope folks still yet have the stomach for it, because our future depends on it. Hold the f on! Hold the line! And you dam well better stay PREPARED!

  13. Testing testing, Mike has worked on my computer for 4 hours, so if this go's though, I want to thank all of my brothers and sisters for all the well wishes on Carols passing, the last 6 or 7 days she went through was a great deal of suffering, to the point every night I asked Jesus to relief her pain or take her home with him. He did both took her pain and took her Home, I miss her so much, again thank you all.. Zach comes down every day to keep me company and busy I might add. Love ya all.

  14. Sarge, I am so sorry to hear the news about Carol. There is nothing I can write that will relieve your pain, but please know you and your family are in our prayers. You have so many friends pulling for you and you are loved by many. May Jesus provide you with comfort during this very sad time.

  15. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. Heading down to LA to see the family. Got a beautiful turkey smoked and ready to go. Always a nice time. No politics.

Sarge, I know it sounds hollow but if you see this I hope you spend time with the family, maybe reminisce a little and maybe find a little light in the dark. We'll all be thinking of you today and we're all thankful to have you as a friend, even if it's just over a computer screen for some of us.

    God bless everyone.

  27. Skippy, I wish I could disagree with you but I can't. America seems to be in her last days. I live in California, so I see the end game every day. These insane laws that let people out of prison, eliminate bail, make theft of less than a thousand bucks a misdemeanor that won't even get you arrested, these were all passed by the voters of California. They just reelected the worst governor in the country. They do incredibly stupid things that have enormous consequences, then stand around amazed at the horrifying results. And then turn around and do it again.

I think whatever disease caused this in California has spread all across the country. Look at the last elections.

In fact, this is all predicted by the bible. Jesus warned us that in the end times all this would happen. And worse. So no matter who we elect or what we do it will only continue until Jesus finally returns and sets it all straight.

So if you want to have real hope, look to God. He's there, even in a Godless nation like ours. He stands ready to forgive and forget. Jesus paid the price for us and it's there waiting for us. We can't change this dying horror show of a world, but we can be ready for the next one.

I have always taken pride on being prepared, as you all know, but I have found out that no matter how much food you have all the money stashed only away, or all the other things we think we need to survive, You just can't prepare for a broken heart... Only Jesus can do that when he is ready to take you to the one that can mend that, I can hardly wait to Say Honey I am Home...Never take your love one for granted, always make a point to give them a kiss or a Hug before going to bed, you never know if that will be your last chance to do so. 33. My heart is heavy for those that suffer.

I was once told, our obligation by receiving our gift of life is to live it for the Lord and one the ones behind us.
The families and friends we have are our outlet for our love, kindness, wisdom, and respect. By doing that we are fulfilling God's wishes, and aren't allowed to question his plan for each and every one of us.
We are to live our life to the fullest. Grasping to the hope and wonder of eternal life in the midst of our sorrow. Loving those still with us, and knowing our day will come when the Lord decides. It is not for us.

I love and respect all of you, and mean no disrespect with my cheap words. But as one of those behind you, it's the only advice I have.
    Live it.

  35. I wake up every morning with pains in various parts of my body. Arthritis, or who knows what. I don't sleep well. I wake up at 1 AM sometimes and just get up and watch TV until morning. I don't have the strength and endurance to do the projects I need to do. All my old timer friends know exactly what I'm talking about.

I've lived long enough to see a demented old idiot elected president, and the democrat party go so far left so as to be Socialists and Totalitarians. And the American people buying it. Now elections are won or lost on promises of free shit that they even know won't come, but their greed and envy drive them to believe the lies.

I've lived long enough to see God driven from the public square. Subjected to daily attacks from the radical Satanists we call democrats. Knowing he is watching His creations being murdered with glee in the womb and He is weeping along with us.

I've lived long enough to see my country accept insane radical communists riot, burn, and destroy our country while our government cheers.

And the ultimate indignation is living among the heathens. Like the Israelites of the old testament living among the Romans and the Philistines, I feel like a stranger in a strange land.

But through all this, when I wonder why the hell I keep going, I remember God isn't done with me. If I was I'd be in heaven with those gone before me. But he still has something for a fairly useless old man to do. We just elevated our Associate Pastor to Senior Pastor. He's 72 and going strong, carrying out God's work. So I plod on, hoping God will reveal whatever it is he has planned for me. And I'll keep going until He's done with me.

God bless you all. Through the pain and the losses and the fights you still keep going. Maybe just to show those coming behind you what it takes. That life is hard, but you take the hand you are dealt and play it. I'll pray for you, hope you pray for me, and we'll all run the good race with our eye on the prize.

  43. Late merry Christmas and a happy new year. I slept through another one, keeping my streak alive for about the past twenty years or so.

Had a bad fall on Christmas day. We went to walk the dog down in LA and I stumbled and fell and cracked my ribs, so I've been out of it for a week or so. Much better now, but if you've ever done that you know it hurts like hell.
And Kevin is correct. Obama created this nightmare, opening the door to commies, Marxists, racists, homos and every other deviant America hating asshole to feel free and supported. We fought that bastard hard. That's where all this blog stuff really got going. But we couldn't stop him. Maybe it's just the natural decline of a society that has lived a couple hundred years. Maybe it's just the greed and envy at the hog trough feeders taking over. Maybe it's just the decline of mankind that is followed by the end times as we were told in the Bible.

Whatever it is, it's getting worse.

We get to know people and consider them friends even though we have never met them face to face. We can share our happiness and our sadness. We can live fifteen hundred miles away and still feel connected. It's a big world, bit things like this blog make it smaller. We may not have hundreds of thousands of readers, I frankly don't care. ReplyDelete
  55. Maybe they will get a speaker voted in by the time it is time to campaign again for office! I can already tell how well that election is going to go! Let's see, with the Republicans we have in Washington, the swamp has not been drained at all, the chances that anyone in the White House, the FBI, or the Democrat Party will be brought up for charges and arrested for treason are about slim to none, and, even if hearings are conducted, it will be like a snowball's chance in hell that anyone will actually pay the price for anything that they have done!
It is pretty sad that one party cannot come together enough to find a trust-worthy person in their ranks that the members would trust to do the job as speaker!
The pay-offs, the bribes, the kick-backs, the influence peddling, have been such a part of our government for so long and the amount of tax-payer money is so big of a temptation, I don't think any of it can be fixed! Too many voters are too scared or ignorant to get rid of the whole bunch and start over from scratch, and chances are a new virgin bunch would be corrupted within the first term of their office!
Term limits might be the simplest answer but they will never get it approved!
I am quickly losing my faith in anything positive ever being done to save our country! Maybe I am lucky, being old enough that I may never see the total collapse of it before I leave this world!

    ReplyDelete

The rate of income tax audits for those in the lowest income bracket hit 12.7 per 1,000, compared to 2.3 per 1,000 among those in the highest – a nearly five-fold increase. The odds of a millionaire facing an audit were around 1.1%.
The Inflation Reduction Act just passed provides the IRS with $80 billion in future funding to ramp up its audits.

  73. Good Grief! Now just who would have even considered that Biden would have these classified documents strung out in the Penn Center, His Personal Residence, in the garage next to his corvette, and one other now, not sure where, but then to do a "search" for them! This was all found out because someone wanted them to be found out! But also, just how did Biden end up with them in the first place? Did Obama just hand them to him and tell him to go home with them and do some "homework"? Either that or he stuffed them in his pants at one of the "secured locations" where they are kept, and walked out with them! No matter how he got them, the question is WHY he got them and what did he do with them before they were 'found"? Was Hunter taking pics of them and selling them to the Chinese, or Russia? Were these the "influence" that the Biden's were selling? And another question I have is How much of the " questionable income that Biden apparently gets was reported on his income tax and for what?
These people don't care! Most involved are somehow making money from the Chinese and have no worry or care about what it is doing to our country!

  91. It’s not Elizabeth’s England anymore. With as remarkable the length of her reign was – England can really function well without the Monarchy and all their Peyton Place drama. Charles III is different sort, not sure if he’ll last 10 years on the throne and already stirring the pot so to speak. He wants to be a multi-faith, multi-cultural monarch.
Charles III should have been man enough to stand up to Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II and refused to marry Lady Diana Spencer (later Diana Princess of Wales). He never loved her because he was head over heels in love with Camilla. In looking back at the turmoil over King Edward VIII (who chose to abdicate the throne of England to marry divorcee Wallis Simpson)….to see Charles marry Camilla (his mistress and a divorcee herself) and be accepted into the royal fold is hypocritical.
I’m not going to touch on the soap opera drama of Princes William and Harry. Every generation of the Royal family has had drama…. William and Harry are only the “next generation” of it.
I’m glad that we here in America aren’t under British rule! Can you imagine how different our lives would be if we were?

And what direction do you think China would be coming from? A lot of bases were flown over by a weather balloon. Strange that the wind is blowing in the same direction that just happens to be right over these places. They had a pretty good idea where these were at. Now they know for sure. How does a balloon just happen to fly over. Now who would be controlling where they go? The wind? Or? And if they were going to attack the US which directing would they be coming from? But we got a commie ass bunch in DC and just hope that when they drop a bomb it lands on top of the right people.

      Delete
  104. Kevin, nobody ever regrets retiring. Best thing I ever did. The only mistake I made was moving to California, but that was for family so I'm stuck with it.

One piece of advice I give people retiring is about Medicare. When you sign up, you need an additional plan. They sell the Medicare Advantage plans like crazy, and that's what I got. But now I wish I had gotten a supplemental plan with a drug plan. Advantage plans are free, and aren't terrible, but they are HMOs and you can only go to their docs in their network. And you have to have a referral for anything. And that can take weeks. There are other drawbacks.

If you get a supplemental plan, you pay a monthly premium but it is a lot more flexible. See any doc, go to any hospital etc. During open enrollment they have to accept you at the standard rate, no medical exemptions, no preexisting condition exclusions. If you don't get it then, you will never be able to change because they can price it based on your health issues.

So find a good insurance guy you trust and let him help you. Remember this, Advantage plans pay them great commissions, so they push them hard. But after a few years when you figure out it doesn't work as well as promised, you're stuck.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Or you could have Joined the Military and had Tri-care after 20 years than go on Medicare and pay zero for you and your wife we must have use a couple of Million just in the last ten years and paid Nothing and we use Express Scrips for proscriptions at a very low cost, Thank You Tax payers.. :):)

  106. Sarge, you deserved every penny of it, as do all the patriots who gave up so much in the service of our fine country. America's veterans have always gotten back a lot less than they gave. And we ask them to give it all. I don't know a single vet who served for the money or benefits. Every one of them made the sacrifice because they are patriots who love their country and want to serve her.

Until every homeless veteran has a home and a job, and all the healthcare they need, then I say fuck a bunch of illegal aliens and homeless drug addicts. Let them starve. America should be ashamed for helping a bunch of drains on society while veterans who sacrificed and served and protected us are suffering in any way, regardless of what their circumstances are.

  116. Well here is another thing that is going to bite us, Biden is using up all the USA oil reserve trying to keep gas prices down and I bet some of that is going overseas. The thing is the government buys the oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, or SPR. Here is a quote: "The Energy Department said buying oil back at about current prices is "an opportunity to secure a good deal for American taxpayers by repurchasing oil at a lower price than the $96 per barrel average price it was sold for, as well as to strengthen energy security." Yea using out tax dollars!
The sale lower levels in the SPR to about 380 million barrels, their lowest since 1984, raising concerns about energy security.
Now they can't get enough oil to get the SPR back up to the level of Jan 2019 which was 649,139,000 barrels.
We could fill up the SPR and still lower gas prices if government would just let people drill and build pipelines. If electric cars as well as renewable energy is so great, LET THEM EARN IT ON THEIR OWN MERITS and not with government subsidiary, forcing us to use renewables by cutting off our supply of natural resources.
You can bet those politicians are heavily invested in renewable energy as long as it isn't in or near where they live.

  118. Some 160 years after the Industrial Revolution commenced, man is drinking dry the Earth's wellspring. The end result could be the collapse of civilization and the loss of civil liberties.

Global populations could be so greatly reduced that the nation-state may find an excuse to use sweeping powers. Society could eventually revert to the breakdown that prevailed during the Dark Ages, where fundamentalist religions and local despots dominated human existence.

Will today's inflation and supply chain problems lead to extreme food shortages as the population increases? There will inevitably be a shortage of food if any disaster occurs, for sure, so why not be prepared in any case?

    ReplyDelete
  119. Well At the core, that's what us survivalists and preppers are. They are people like most of us who are aware that life is full of uncertainty and who have decided to put things into place for when bad times happen.

With the Constitution and Bill of Rights, our Founding Fathers pushed responsibility from the Federal government down to the individual citizen and promoted a survivalist/prepper mentality. They did it with the 2nd and 4th Amendments, they did it by example (Washington leading a mostly barefoot army across the Delaware), and they did it throughout their writing. So lets get with the program, look around of what a mess this Country is in!

At the very least, start storing canned and packaged foods immediately. Once a foundation of at least a week's worth of food is established, continue to build your stores until you have at least a month's worth of canned and packaged goods that you and your loved ones actually like and will eat. After you have a month's worth of food stored, start looking at long-term freeze-dried or dehydrated food-storage options to supplement your stash.

    ReplyDelete
  120. The harsh reality is... you never know how bad things will get over the next 15 years and you never know how long the hard times will last. The only way to guarantee that we survive is to be prepared. because while our grocery shelves in America have seemingly been, up until recently, chock full of food so the idea of a food shortage barely registers in our minds, delivery and staffing shortages have proven to us that any item, including food, can disappear from store shelves very rapidly and with no warning... or not appear at all!

It is past time to prepare.

    2. No I never want to file taxes because I always owe them more money. The government at one time promised they would never tax social security, now the Feds tax it as will as Kansas is one of 11 states to tax SS. They end up punishing me because I planned well. Then when you add in the tax just to keep your house and car, it's just barely keeping head above water. Then you get illegals and people that refuse to work get free rides on housing, phones, medical and now even laptop and internet access. I get stuff in mail at least every month from Cox and ATT about applying for money to get free internet, reduced price internet, money for computer etc. But because I worked for a living and planned, I get nothing- pay full price!

  130. I am not so sure they are stupid, I think they are smart and just plain evil. They know what they are doing and don't care and getting rich in the process. Also, they have been planning this for a long time by using the so called education system as a means to brain wash generations to their agenda of what is right and wrong, what is acceptable and what is not. This younger generation is growing up and getting in positions of authority erasing history and making the country weak. They don't know any better as the education system from first grade through college as indoctrinated them. This has been the plan all along, using the NEA to meet their agenda. Thus we end up destroying from within! So I guess in the end they have been stupid, because the education indoctrination they been pushing for a few generations will also destroy them as well. This can't be stopped via the election process, if you just check it out those that get in office have a long history of family in politics. Positions just get passed down among family and friends. Trump was one of the few outsiders that got in and you see how he was treated. Not many options on table to fix this mess.
I thought you wanted to get off this subject, I gave you a whole list!
Okay here is another problem that needs fixed and it's really making me mad. How to get that last bit of toothpaste out of the tube? I pay for the whole tube, I want to get it all out of there! 136. The digital dollar, once talked about, is here. Reuters reported that on Tuesday a statement from the Fed's of New York, announcing that Global Banking Giants and the New York Fed are testing the digital dollar in a 12-week pilots.

Citigroup, HSBC, Mastercard, and Wells Fargo are among the financial companies participating in the experiment. According to New York Fed, the project, which is called the regulated liability network, will use simulated data.

How will that affect you and your finances? Well, go figure. You will no longer have any privacy whatsoever. Your hard-earned savings will be "worth-less". Surely the dollar will continue to devalue resulting in heavily diminishing your purchasing power.

Our government will know what you have, where you have it, and how you are spending it. This is the ultimate control that they are after. It limits and blocks the way you spend your money unless obtaining their approval at first.

  138. The further a society drifts from the truth the more it will hate those that speak it.

  139. We conservatives know Emotional and self-absorbed people are easy to control. Critical people that value reason are harder to control. For leftists liberal demOrats to prevail they must destroy critical thought and encourage reactionary emotion as the norm in society. And, if that doesn't work, radical leftists argue that burning primary systems to the ground by force is acceptable. The goal for them is not necessarily to be right, the goal is to win.

The deconstruction mindset views nothing as sacred, and this includes a moral compass. While arguing from a position of moral superiority, the political left will often rationalize highly immoral practices. For example, this is why we now see aggressive attempts by leftists to normalize the indoctrination of very young children into trans activism. This is why we are seeing hundreds of gender affirmation clinics with procedures for children springing up all over the country. This is why we are seeing numerous sexualized drag shows for kids, and why highly sexualized reading materials are being planted in school libraries. Fuck Biden and all the Liberals....

  141. Digital dollar sounds kind of like end times. The mark would be an implanted chip much like they put on dogs/cats. We are not far from that now with CC and debit cards. Digital dollars, they government would know everything you spent, earned and every place you went.
Anyway none of that matters, still trying to get that last drop of toothpaste out of this darn tube!

  143. Deconstruction allows the liberals to break down long-valued standards of merit, morality and accomplishment. With deconstruction, anyone could be idolized, even the vilest fanatics on the planet.

And this is why there can be no diplomacy or reconciliation with groups that value leftist philosophy and deconstruction ideology. The deepest intent of deconstruction is to poison the cultural well. The purpose of leftists is to blow up the world because they see the world as oppressive to their narcissism. And globalists exploit that narcissism and use leftists as a battering ram to wreak havoc. Through chaos, they hope to erect a new world order in which all values, all principles and all morals are dead, and psychopathy becomes "normal."

There is nothing else to be done but to wipe leftist ideology and deconstruction off the face of the Earth before it's too late. One cannot reason with a monster; one can only erase that monster from existence. Just Saying.....

  147. We should try to make time to have another fun gathering. Safe, would you come for a visit to Kansas if this idea of mine takes hold? Just putting this out here for everyone's input. We all need to reconnect with each other. Love, Rikki

  148. Rikki, much as I would love to the logistics are just too much. I doubt I'll ever see Kansas again, much as that pains me.

  149. Well it looks like the Party is over..:):(:(

  150. I wouldn't be so quick to blast this out of the water... going to leave the idea open for most of this week to let other folks hop online to read and answer. Skippey if you're on facebook and connected to some of bloggers... relay this to them. Many thanks and hugs, Rikki

  151. Don't let me stop you. I'm just one guy. There's a bunch of you. You should try to get together. If I was there I'd be there in a heartbeat. You don't know how much you miss your friends until you can't see them again, and know you probably never will see them face to face. So keep those ties going. You've already lost a couple of friends, so hold the ones left close while you can. I lost a brother and a sister last year, unexpectedly. I couldn't go to either funeral. Being stuck this far away sucks. But you are all right there together. Go for it.

  152. Safe you have been gone a long time, things have changed around here, age creep up on most out here, not counting the medical problems, and the few young ones have children that they are caring for and teaching on how to survive in this messed up world, it would be hard to get 5 or so people to even comment at the same time on the blog, Hell it must piss off Kevin off even to have to hang around to approve my worthless comment, but knowing me I love pissing him off. But having said that I really hope you and yours stay safe and well.. It is killing me the lost of Carol but I got some loose ends to take care of with Zach and Mike, than I will be ready to join Her, praying Jesus grants me that time.God Bless.

  153. Thank you Safe. Hugs. I'm hoping this is successful.

  154. Wish you all the luck Rikki but the math just is not there, hoping i am wrong, there is a lot of work to pull those things together, you the one to do all the leg work and planning, Just wondering... Luck be with you...

  155. I'm just trying to see if we as a "group" can get together one more time - honor those who have gone on before us.

Texas Rose passed away also - Kevin has that information. Just trying to get together while we are still able to.

Would like for the other bloggers to comment on getting together. This is something we should do.

As always, love and hugs to everyone. Rikki

  156. As a possible location for gathering..... how many of y'all know about the Billard Airport Cafe in the Oakland area? It's on Sardou... go east on Sardou to it's furthest point and you'll arrive directly at Billard Airport... the cafe is in the larger sized brick building with plenty of parking to the north side of the building. They have buffet style food or you can order off the menu. Saturday mornings they're open thru 2pm. So, some Saturday when everyone gets together on a calendar date... we'll do this.

  157. With disappointment, I must say this is a wash up. Sarge, please do not come at me with the "I told you so's"... ok?

    ReplyDelete
  158. Not sure if I'd call it a wash up, Rikki. Just speaking for myself, I like the idea of us all getting together again. I just don't know how long it'll be until I'm able to walk again. My next appointment is in 3 weeks and hopefully they'll have some answers for me.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Oh, I can still get around using a walker but even that gets sketchy. It's mostly a balance thing. I just don't feel comfortable being out in public for the time being...

    ReplyDelete
  160. Hugs to you Kevin. Let's keep this idea open until we all can get back together. I was feeling discouraged, but your posts have made me optimistic again. Back in 2018, my back went totally out, was in the hospital for a week, then in a full body back brace for 8 weeks from there. Thankfully no surgery needed, but I'm lucky to be walking. I'm extra careful not to fall !

On a comical note - I still laugh at this.... when I was in the back brace, the guys I work with said I looked like I was ready to pay football... (giggles)... to that my reply was, "I'd like to think I look like the Viking fat lady at the opera getting ready to sing the Song of the Valkyries...

Kevin, I am feeling very encouraged with your comments. Hugs!

    Rikki

  161. Well Kevin, you know I will always wish you well, as I even do for myself, but being logical the writing is on the wall. And thats me I just say it like it is, I wish everyone could go back a few years, but that isn't going to happen, we are dealt the hand that we hold now , each has to know when to fold them, as alway praying for everyone out here, the record on them being answered is not what I expected, but I do not question God Or his Son ever. . I know Riki Heart is in this and I bless her for trying.. But time moves on...
