Tax cuts! Finally!!!

Our President is pushing congress to produce a tax reform bill. He's going on the road to promote it and hopefully there are still enough Republicans left who love their country more than they love the swamp they live in to pass it. We shall see.

Look for the rabid insane left to go completely nuts over this one. It looks like they've given up on Russia Russia Russia and all the previous attempts to undermine the legal election of our President and now they are trying their latest tactic of the President is insane. This one is pretty laughable and is doomed to the dust bin like all the rest but we'll get some chuckles from it watching them jumping up and down, arms flailing, spit flying from their mouths while they screech and howl. Always funny stuff.

So it's Friday and none too soon. Here's a little of the late great Glen Campbell. One of the most underappreciated guitar players of our time.

  3. "White house yielding to congress on tax details"...said Politico yesterday...
With democrat Cohn, Paulie, the turtlehead and Hatched with a couple of others now known as the Big Six running this, all things are possible...being discussed:
Elimination of deductions for state and local taxes paid
New tax on 401k retirement plans

They're trying to keep it all under close wraps but things do leak out.

And what will the tradeoff be?
DACA? the wall? Article doesn't specify but dems and rinos would like more cheap labor...

  51. Here's the "Editorial Staff" (Communist Propaganda) of the Urinal bashing Kobach:

"Editorial: Kobach touts increasing workload of state employees while not filling positions in Breitbart article"

First off, let's start with the sloppy, unprofessional, amateurish headline. He's "not filling positions in Breitbart article"? Is he responsible for hiring to fill positions in Breitbart articles? What the hell does that mean?! Typical 4th-rate Urinal writing, but can't expect much from the dummies being run through the college liberal-propaganda meatgrinders these days, I guess. Not to mention, The Urinal is like the Sasnak of news rags. When nobody else will hire you, they'll take ya! Urinal...last resort.

"If Kobach is interested instead in ferreting out fraud, one might question his limited success thus far in tracking down the multitudes in this state who are supposedly voting illegally. Thus far, he boasts of obtaining nine convictions in a state with some 1.8 million registered voters."

Heads still shoved up their asses, and we know they've seen the obvious explanation. The documentation is SO lax, and it is SO easy to vote illegally...that it is very difficult to track down and convict anyone. Just because not many have been convicted, it doesn't mean it's not happening. How much is happening?

Well...if we had RELIABLE ADEQUATE means of verifying everyones' citizenship...we would know, and it wouldn't be an issue!

    Morons.

Not content to stick to one subject, they attempt to conflate the issue tied to other things they want to bash. Get more mileage out of one article, I guess. (Yellow journalism is bad. Lazy yellow journalism is worse. Typical, though.)

"In a key paragraph, the secretary of state writes: “Over the course of six years, I was able to shrink my agency’s workforce by 18 percent. We did it through natural attrition, without massive layoffs. The smaller payroll, along with other cuts, also allowed me to reduce agency spending by over 30 percent. And the agency is still carrying out all of the same responsibilities that it was back in 2011.”

    "Ah-hah."

"While bureaucracy deserves a suspicious eye, one wonders if a more fully staffed office might have either made it easier for more Kansans to have their votes counted, or at least uncovered further cases of voter fraud for Kobach to prosecute."

A-ha! Convince the state employees he's coming after them, too!

And, INSTEAD of enforcing the existing laws, and ensuring VERIFIABLE voter ID, the idiot staff at the Urinal would rather load up with more state employees to track down illegal voting and more to handle the caseload?!

HEY, URINAL!!! The salary and benefits of every single state employee (who continue to drain taxpayer money even after retirement) use money that COULD be going to roads, schools, healthcare, teachers and the poor, you idiots! I'm betting we could could cut departments' and agencies' personnel (and even entire departments and agencies that are duplicitous, or not even the responsibility of "government"), fund all the necessary things, AND lower taxes. Should also phase out taxpayer-funded "guaranteed-funded" pensions, and have them face the same risks and responsibilities of retirement planning as their bosses (the taxpayers), and move them to 401k, IRA, etc. And, no "taxpayer-funded retirement benefits" until the same age as Social Security recipients. They can retire early, if they want. They just can't draw that money, until then, IF on taxpayer-funded pension. If they are on their own 401k, etc., they get the same rules as their bosses (the taxpayers).

The fewest government employees, the fewest departments and agencies possible...that is the ONLY way to right this heavily-listing ship.

But, the commies don't like that. Right, Urinal Propaganda Ministry?

"But whatever we may wish to say about nuclear deterrence, we must also ask whether we think that our luck will hold forever, and whether every leader who comes to possess nuclear weapons will be transformed by the awesome power of these weapons. If the sight of Trump or Kim with the bomb disturbs you, then you believe in nuclear disarmament."

Hey, genius...exactly why DOES North Korea even have those? And, why is Iran getting closer every day? Where was your handwringing when Obama and the Democrats set everything up for them to even get this far?

You want to talk about "lunatics"? Trump didn't allow them to get this far. Obama actively HELPED them get this far.

"Disarmament"? You mean, of course...we make agreements, and actually hold up OUR end, while the regimes who want to destroy us keep on chooglin', right? Well...THAT makes sense! We won't have to worry about "mutually-assured destruction". We'll just have "assured-destruction" of US!

Two suspects were shot by homeowners in two separate incidents only four hours apart in Houston and Corpus Christi during Hurricane Harvey.

One Intruder Dead, Second Hospitalized After Being Shot In The Head.

Many homes in the area had no power and had been evacuated which may have encouraged the burglars. In one incident, the intruder was shot by a South side homeowner after he broke into the home just as Hurricane Harvey made landfall.

    According to bluelivesmatter:

The first incident occurred on Friday, August 25, about 11 PM in the 7100 block of Ficus Court, near Yorktown Boulevard, according to the Caller-Times. Police officers responded to a home for a report of an intruder in the home.

Upon their arrival, they found the suspect inside the home, with a gunshot wound to his head. Police said that the suspect had broken into the home, and the homeowner had shot him. The incident occurred about an hour after the Category 4 Hurricane Harvey made landfall near Corpus Christi.

Well, we were wrong - it appears the PC mob is now coming for the film industry.

The historic Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, Tennessee has decided to censor "Gone With the Wind" from a line-up of movies it will show as part of its 2018 Summer Movie Series after dubbing it racially "insensitive". The 1939 classic film, based on the book by Margaret Mitchell, is set on a plantation in the American South during the Civil War and Reconstruction era, and is widely considered by critics and historians to be among the greatest American movies of all time. It broke Academy Award records at the time, receiving eight Oscars including a Best Supporting Actress for Hattie McDaniel, who became the first African-American Academy Award-winner. It also remains the highest grossing film of all time (with ticket prices adjusted for inflation) - beating out even Star Wars.

But apparently this nearly 80-year old world renowned classic has been scrubbed for the first time based on some complaints the theater received after its last August 11 showing. “As an organization whose stated mission is to ‘entertain, educate and enlighten the communities it serves’, the Orpheum cannot show a film that is insensitive to a large segment of its local population,” the theater’s board said in a statement.

  69. The theater indicated that for the first time this year's screening “generated numerous comments” which led to the decision to drop it, adding that, “while title selections for the series are typically made in the spring of each year, the Orpheum has made this determination early in response to specific inquiries from patrons.” This will mark the first time in 34 years Gone With the Wind will not show. It appears that much of the negative feedback came via Orpheum Theatre's Facebook page with some comments decrying the film as "racist" and leveling the charge that it's a "tribute to white supremacy".
