Where I live is where they grow the mandarins you buy. The little oranges that peel really easy. They call them Cuties among other brands. They grow in our climate really well and there are acres and acres of fields of orange trees. There is a big processing plant outside Bakersfield where they bag them up and sell them.
They harvest twice a year. When we go to Bakersfield, which we do from time to time, we drive through the canyon on a highway that was carved out originally over a hundred years ago. It follows the mighty Kern river. The Kern flows out at the bottom of the canyon and is harvested for irrigation. At the base of the canyon there is a massive orange farm.
Twice a year, they pick the oranges. It's quite a sight. But what I see always surprises me. The pickers park their cars next to the fields where they are picking. I see some pretty nice cars and trucks. And the people I see working are white, black and brown.
I said all that to say this. I don't see a bunch of poor immigrant illegal aliens being enslaved to pick oranges. I'm sure there are illegals in there, they're everywhere around here. But I see people who are working, many who have nicer cars than me. So it leaves me wondering about the godless commies claim that we need to throw open the gates to anybody who wants in. Because, they often claim, they do the jobs Americans won't do. I say bullshit. I've seen the grape harvests here too. Same story.
What they want are future democrat/fascist voters. And gang member who will terrorize America and keep the country living in fear. And drug traffickers hauling loads of meth and heroin in to keep Americans enslaved. And human traffickers bringing kidnapped children to sell.
They want Americans overwhelmed, living in fear. They don't want people to pick oranges. We have plenty of those. They want people to do the dirty work of terrorizing Americans. Terrified people are easier to control, as we just witnessed this past year.

Well, friends, that does about sum it all up. The democrat/communists have gone completely batshit crazy. Barking mad. I mean, what's left? Even my liberal daughter is seeing her people going too far, just getting stupider by the minute.
ReplyDeleteI'm old enough, as are many of you, to remember when liberals were different. JFK, Hubert Humphry. They were always wanting a larger social net, they had a soft spot for the poor. But they would fight like hell at the thought of the government or anybody else stifling free speech of any kind. They would have hated this cancel culture fascist bullshit. Their slogan was, and they meant it, "I may disagree with what you say, but I'll fight like hell for your right to say it".
I remember when the ACLU fought for the Nazis to march in Skokie IL. Detestable as they are, they still fought for their rights under the first amendment. Now the ACLU is just another fascist commie group trying shut us up.
I spent a few days with my six year old grandson last week. And he's all boy, and does everything boys do. My fear was his mom, being a liberal would believe in this trans mental illness crap and try to neutralize his boy side. Not a chance. She knows who he is and loves every minute. Every rassling, running and playing, digging in the dirt, playing with cars, pretending to barf on everybody minute.
I fear we will lose an entire generation with this crazy nonsense. Kids growing up seeing crap like the Mister Potato Head nonsense and a million more stupid destructive ideas just as bad. And they just won't know what to believe. My prayer is that at least some parents will counter that bullshit and raise their children like humans have always raised them. Boys are boys. Girls are girls. That's science friends. That's a fact.
I always say, if you got run over by a cement truck, and all that was left was a pile of goo and bones, the one thing they could know from that was your sex. You genes tell them. This pile of goo was male or female. Not what they thought it was, not what pronouns they used, not what imaginary fake gender they created for themselves. It was one or the other, just like God created them.

ReplyDeleteIn a surprise move, today Hasbro announced it's keeping Mr and Mrs Potato Head as is. They had a change of heart. I'm guessing they heard from a shit load of real Americans who told them it was a stupid idea. They realized it was indeed stupid and was going to cost them money.
ReplyDeleteAppealing to a small minority of mentally ill people, and insulting the majority of Americans is never a good marketing move. I'm guessing whoever sold them on this stupid idea is now filing for unemployment.
Maybe there's hope for America after all. Remember, it's a small minority that makes all the noise. The rest of us are too busy living our lives and taking care of our families to mess with this crap.
As they say, get woke, go broke. Hasbro figured that out, maybe in the nick of time, maybe not. The damage is done.

ReplyDeleteWell for anyone watching the Obits to see if I am there, I am not, but just got out of the Hospital, had many test to many to bring up, Both Brain scans came out good except a minor infection on the left side of the head, on med's for that., The rash and swelling in my arm's is down and about 60% of rash and inching gone and going I hope, See new Doctor this coming Monday. Was taking in by AMR and they got right into making me a Human pin cushing, they were treating me as if I was having a stroke, Had to tell them it was a lack of sleep, and I was hallucinating and dilutional . But Lots of test and all most all in the exceptal range. So I can really say life is good. Later.
