Well guys, Memorial Day is upon us.
It's the one day of the year we've set aside to honor those who fought and died in order to keep this country safe.
Make no mistake, we owe them a debt that can never be repaid.
Not properly anyway.
We did try.
For years we tried to honor their sacrifices by being the best we could be.
Being an American was something you could truly be proud of.
Today?
Not so much.
We've more or less allowed the so-called leaders of this country to shit on the legacy of those who fought and died for.
We've allowed communists and every kind of degenerate out there to infiltrate our government.
We did have a good run though.
I can't help but wonder if the all those young men and women who willingly lined up to fight on our behalf all those years ago had known how this country would eventually end up would have even bothered.

I wonder how our world would react to these leftest if they were trying this when we were bombed, and during those war's and at the end of those wars, with them trying their tricks. I would wager that there would be a lot of liberal left wing scum getting their ass's beat in Times Square.
ReplyDeleteWell said, my friend. I can't help thinking those men who fought and sacrificed life and limb would no doubt wonder what the hell it was for sometimes. But there's something about American men and women still that drives them to offer that sacrifice for the country they love.
ReplyDeleteThe Iraq and Afgan wars brought to us by Mr Bush prove it. It was pretty obvious at some point they were pointless wars. But still, our military was filled with volunteer soldiers who went and fought a brutal war, and sacrificed for America.
I think the men and women who join up to fight the fight don't really look at the commies and homos and perverts we have running the country today. They look at their friends and neighbors and family and they go. They know there's a bigger story than those losers.
Maybe the same reason people still sign up to be Police Officers. To hear the commie media tell it, America hates cops. And some do. But they know that there is a duty to do despite those people, and they are willing to do it.
I thank God for the men and women who still take up the fight for America, despite the terrible toll, and the voices telling them America is a horrible country. They know better. They are patriots, the finest kind there are.
My father and both my uncles signed up for WWII. They all came home damaged, from injuries and seeing things no man should have to see. But they went. It must have seemed clearer then, with the Axis to fight and the world to save. But the same spirit inhabits the men and women today who join the fight.
Thanks to them all, active, retired or however they serve. I apologize for having a commie for a commander in chief, and for the things they are enduring at his hands. Lesser men might walk away. And I wouldn't blame them. But they don't. Because they are the best we have. And today we honor them, and the ones who came before them.

Today is a day the nation has set aside to remember those Americans who were lost on battlefields around the globe. Some were lost fighting for American freedoms and to preserve liberty; many more were lost fighting needless wars for the benefit of the elites. Regardless, the loss of those military members is equally painful to their family members, who must continue on despite the loss.
