What a hell of a day it was...

My wife Linda and I stopped by the Expocentre Friday evening around 6:00 or so just to check out the preparations for Saturday's big event.

The first thing we noticed was a group of die-hard Trump supporters gathered right outside the front doors. We stopped to talk to them and found out they were all planning to spend the night in order to be the very first one's to get inside once they opened the doors at 2:00 pm Saturday afternoon.

It was a definitely a party atmosphere. They were all pumped up and excited about being there and I actually considered joining them.

But then I considered the fact that they were calling for colder temperatures and rain overnight.

Then I asked myself if I'd rather sleep on a lawn chair in the rain or in my own nice dry and warm bed at home.

Decisions, decisions.

I asked the voices in my head what Sarge might say about my idea and they decided he'd probably say something like, "sleeping in a lawn chair in the rain is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of, boy."

That ol Sarge is a lot like Trump in that respect. He pretty much calls it like he sees it.

Anyway, I came up with an alternate plan and ran it by my wife.

How about we show up at 4 o'clock tomorrow morning to make sure we're among the first to get in.

She considered it then offered up yet another plan. How about you get there at 4 o'clock tomorrow morning, save us a spot in line, and I'll join you sometime tomorrow afternoon.

And just like that the plan was put in place.

Needless to say it was a long day.

But it was worth every single minute of it.

And now I must rest.

You guys enjoy your day...

Kevin McGinty

The smear campaign Senate Democrats conducted against Brett Kavanaugh was absolutely disgusting. The left orchestrated a desperate last-minute attempt to prevent us from appointing an outstanding constitutional conservative to the Supreme Court. Thanks to our Republican Senate Majority, the far-left’s deceitful tactics were ultimately unsuccessful. Elect more Republicans who will stand with President Trump.

The actions of the left underscore the importance of the upcoming midterm elections. If the Democrats capture the majority, there will be even more obstruction, and they will try to reverse everything accomplished under President Trump’s leadership. The stakes are simply too high for conservatives to sit idly and let radical liberals take over the Senate. TC

Heard some stories from a bunch of fellas that went. Sounds like it was a great time.
Even heard about some interaction with some soy boy protestors. Hilarious.
I watched all the speeches, and I like it the most when the president goes off the cuff. Doesn't parse, just says some of the things we all want to.
    Good event for Topeka.
Good to get Justice K. after all the hullabaloo.
    Winning.
Time to start winning on the next thing.
    No time to get complacent.

    MAGA!!!!

  7. Good Job my friend, and tell Linda I always knew she was the smartest in the family. Sleeping in a lawn chair in a cold rain would have been worth about 8 negative comments, like you are not in the Army my friend with no chair but a poncho only..

  9. We watched the President's speech on TV, with our Son and Grandson. Our Grandson was pretty upset that we did not go to the rally. I was disappointed with myself that I did not plan better ahead of time, but I'm also realistic that it would not have been a very good situation for me. So glad that you and Linda were able to attend Kevin! MAGA!

  16. I was in Chicago all last week at a convention and for some reason this trip kicked my butt. While I was standing in line getting reading to pre-board the plane I suddenly I started coughing and then I threw up in my hands. Good thing there was a recycle bin right beside me and that my husband always carries a handkerchief with him. The only thing I can think of that made me ill was the constant drone of CNN on all the televisions at the airport. I was glad to get home in time to watch the Trump rally in Topeka. It made me homesick watching all the good folks in Topeka supporting our president. Thanks goes out to Kevin for sending photos of the event. I am sorry Trump didn't mention Kevin and Room 235 during his speech. I got a confirmation from The White House stating my request was received and they would take my request under consideration. Ha, ha! I received the WH confirmation early Saturday morning so I figured it was a long shot. At least I got a reply from The White House. WIBW didn't even take the time to reply back to me even though I followed up with a message asking if they received my message. I know it sounds crazy to think Trump would mention the Bunker but I figured it was worth a try. With Trump you never know what he might say. Have a good week my friends. MAGA

  17. Sarge, when you mentioned the Chiefs it made me think of the handkerchief. Why I thought my husband would want it back after I wiped my hands with it is beyound me.....as he looked at me like I was out of my mind as he was shaking his head noooooo! I'm sure his boss and his wife were very impressed with my stellar performance. And of course I am laughing the whole time so it made it even creepier. Oh well. It is not the first time they have seen me in rare form. And I'm sure it won't be the last.

  26. off topic, this rain has softened up the limbs and branches of trees.... be careful this morning when y'all go out and about. The neighbor's tree dropped 2 limbs...yes I said limbs... in our yard. I know I shouldn't have pulled them to his side of the yard but he's lazy and won't do anything about his decrepid tree. Since it's near the curb, I can call the city to come and remove it for safety reasons at no charge.

It winded me pretty good pulling those limbs, I was very careful and moved slowly when pulling them to neighbor's yard.

  27. Remember freedom sought by our founding fathers was not free; it was paid in patriot blood during the American Revolution. No matter the reason—the preservation of democracy, liberation of the oppressed, or revolution—the United States has been no stranger to the battlefield.

Through deserts, jungles, and grassy plains; in brick buildings, straw huts, and log cabins; by mountains, ditches, and the oceans, the infantry soldier has relied on one key tool to accomplish the mission: his weapon.

But, our Government, if you can call it that, blatantly defies the original laws of our country and passes law after law that threatens to take away your Constitutional rights, now Trump needs another pro gun court Judge to add just for incase Hell who knows he might get to pick two more.. 28. The guy dressed up as Abe Lincoln cracked me up. He kept getting calls on his cell phone. Each time he apologized and said he had to answer his "cordless telegraph" because it was his wife.

I almost did it but in the end I didn't have the heart to tell him his wife has been dead for something like 130 years...

$59.50 - $375.00 of course the “nose bleed” section are the cheap seats.

All I got to say is that the Hillary & sex pervert Bill must be really hard up for money.... My guess is that their donors for the failed 2016 campaign told them to pay up or else....or....they told The Hillary to fund her own campaign if she's running a 3rd time.
