Rather than waste an entire day watching what's become of today's pathetic democrat party make fools of themselves I took advantage of yesterday's cool temps and got caught up on some yard work I've been putting off.
And just exactly what did I miss out on?
Nothing.
Oh, the plans they had.
Yesterday's long awaited appearance by their white knight, Robert Mueller, who was supposed to be the final nail in Trump's coffin failed to accomplish anything but make them look like the worthless pieces of shit they've always been.
Maybe that's a little too harsh.
They did accomplish at least one worthwhile item.
They handed President Trump another win.

As Democrats continue to voice this spectacle on the American people as well as you Mr. Mueller, the American people may recall the media began first spreading this conspiracy theory in the Spring of two thousand and sixteen when Fusion GPS funded by the DNC and the Hillary Clinton Campaign started developing the Steele Dossier. A collection of outlandish accusations that Trump and his associates were Russian agents. Fusion GPS, Steele, and other confederates fed these absurdities to naive and partisan reporters and to top officials in numerous government agencies including the FBI, the Department of Justice, the State Department. Among other things, the FBI used Dossier allegations to obtain a warrant to spy on the Trump campaign. Despite of acknowledging Dossier allegations as being salacious and unverified, former FBI Director James Comey briefed those allegations to President Obama and President-elect Trump. Those briefings conveniently leaked to the press resulting in the publication of Dossier and launching thousands of false press stories based on the word of a foreign ex-spy. Top DOJ offical Bruce Ohr whose own wife worked on Fusion GPS's anti-Trump operation, fed Steele's information to the FBI even after the FBI fired Steele. The top FBI investigator and his lover, another top FBI official, constantly texted about how much they hated Trump and wanted to stop him from being elected. And the entire investigation was opened based not on five eyes intelligence but on a tip from a foreign politician about a conversation involving Joseph Misfud. He's a Maltese Diplomat who's widely portrayed as a Russian agent but seems to have far more connections with Western governments including our own FBI and our own State Department than with Russia.

Mr. Mueller was soon appointed and they said he would find the collusion. Then when no collusion was found in Mr. Mueller's indictments, the Democrats said we find it in his final report. Then when it was clear Barr wasn't hiding anything, we were told it would be revealed through a hearing with Mr. Mueller himself. Now that Mr. Mueller is here, they're claiming that the collusion has actually been in his report all along, hidden in plain sight, and they're right. There is collusion in plain sight. Collusion between Russia and the Democratic Party. The Democrats colluded with Russian sources to develop the Steele Dossier and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya colluded with the Dossier's key architect, a Fusion GPS head Glenn Simpson. The Democrats have already admitted holding interviews and through their usual anonymous statements to reporters that today's hearing in not about getting information at all, they said they want to quote: "bring the Mueller Report to life" and create a television moment through ploys like having Mr. Mueller recite passages from his own report. In other words, this hearing is political theater, it's a hail Mary attempt to convince the American people that collusion is real and it's concealed in the report. Granted that's a strange argument to make about a report that is public. It's almost like the Democrats have prepared arguments accusing Mr. Barr of hiding the report and didn't bother to update their claims once he published the entire thing. Among Congressional Democrats, the Russian Investigation was never about finding the truth, it's always been a simple media operation by their own accounts, this operation continues in this room today.

Pelosi squashes impeachment talk in wake of Mueller testimony

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called former special counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony Wednesday a watershed moment, but said it’s still too early to talk impeachment.
She said Congress still needs to gather more evidence on Mr. Trump before it can make the case for his ouster, suggesting that Mr. Mueller’s details of potential obstruction of justice didn’t go far enough to justify that case.
Instead, Mrs. Pelosi pointed to the president’s finances and other areas she said Mr. Mueller wasn’t allowed to investigate, where she predicted Democrats will find the goods to show the motives for the crimes Democrats say Mr. Trump committed.
“It means we can get the information to show the American people what the obstruction of justice was all about,” she said.
The California Democrat is under pressure from her party’s left wing, where lawmakers are increasingly agitating for the start of impeachment proceedings. Mrs. Pelosi has been reluctant, suggesting it’s a fool’s errand unless the public is more in support.
So far, polls show a majority of voters aren’t eager for Congress to take the step.
Mrs. Pelosi said Mr. Mueller’s hours of testimony should have helped dent that resistance.
“It is a crossing of a threshold in terms of public awareness of what happened and how it conforms to the law — or not,” she said.
But she also signaled it wasn’t enough.
She said the next step will be to win several looming court battles where Democrats are demanding judges order the administration to turn over information about the president’s finances.
“We are fighting the president in the courts,” she said.
Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler said they’ll sue in court later this week to try to force former White House Counsel Don McGahn to testify. Mr. Nadler said if they can win that case, it will be a rejection of the White House’s blanket objections to House inquiries.

ReplyDeleteThe biggest takeaway from Wednesday’s Congressional hearing of Robert Mueller on his report is that most likely Mueller didn’t even write the report. It became painfully obvious very quickly how unfamiliar he was with his investigative findings when asked even the easiest of questions.

Most likely Andrew Weismann probably really headed the investigation Sarge. If so, that really says something for Trump in that Weismann probably would have gone out of his way to destroy Trump. That most likely means that Trump came out smelling really clean, even for Weismann! You are right! I too think he just sold his name to give credence to the report and make a good chunk of change in the process! He was a never Trumper anyway, so why not?

Then a Chad Billings, who is a liberal through and through. I'm sure that they have been posting for a long time. Just don't know what their old blog names were! A few others, nothing like the "old days" when Room #235 was in the paper. I really don't know how they survive as a business anymore!
Once Trump is gone, I think all of these "newspapers" will go out of business pretty quickly. When all that you have to talk about are lies about our President, then he leaves, what will they have left? They have blown all credibility! Oh well.
