The Dem's Best and Brightest...

Would it too harsh to say that the dems have scraped the bottom of the barrel looking to find a suitable candidate for president this time around?

I don't think so.

They're either promising to destroy Trump's booming economy and replace it with Socialism or campaigning in Mexico.

But even in the midst of the the bottom feeders they've dredged up one candidate rises to the top.

Keep in mind just how low the bar has been set.

The one candidate often mentioned as the only one capable of beating President Trump is none other than Super Predator Crazy Uncle Joe Biden.

The other day on CNN (Communist New Network) brainiac Uncle Joe promised Russia meddling would never, ever happen during his or Barack Obama's watch.

Biden: Russia Election Interference Wouldn’t Have Happened ‘on My Watch and Barack’s Watch

Friday on CNN’s “New Day” 2020 presidential hopeful, former Vice President Joe Biden said Russia would not have gotten away with interfering in an election under his or President Barack Obama’s watch.
Biden said, “Look at what’s happening with Putin. While Putin is trying to undo our elections, he is undoing elections in Europe. Look at what’s happening in Hungary, look what’s happening in Poland, look what’s happening. You think that would happen on my watch or Barack’s watch? You can’t answer that, but I promise it wouldn’t have, and it didn’t.”

Oh, late last night, So. California had a bigger earthquake. 7.1...

First the 6.4 with the 5.0 aftershock and now the 7.1..... praying that Safe & his family are doing ok.

There's some damage out there worse than the 6.4 delivered.

    https://ktla.com/

As I was sharing this with Rick, I said if it were me, I'd be packing up family and leaving California. In all the time I lived in California, never have I seen anything like this.... 6.4, 5.0, 7.1....and close together... that's creepy.

  3. Just to let everybody know, we're all good. Quite an experience when those things go off. Scary.

Ridgecrest, where all the damage happened is about 45 miles from us. The epicenter of the quake is about the same distance. Things shook and it was pretty unnerving but no damage. Not really a huge deal so far. If this had been in LA it would have been way worse, but out here in the desert it's not so bad.

Hell, I'm a Kansas boy. Tornado sirens to me means go outside and see what's going on. Quakes are unnerving because there's no warning.

Besides, I'm not sure it was an actual earthquake. I think it might have been the collective shaking of all these commies in California after our President's great Independence Day celebration. They were all so shook up they triggered a fault line. I think they saw their future and it was too much for them.

So, Creepy Joe Biden says there was no election interference by Russia. Says it definitively. Says it couldn't have happened under his and the Marxist from Kenya's watch. So since all the alleged Russian interference was during the election, and the election happened during their watch, it didn't happen, right?
These people are a whole new level of stupid.

Anyway, our family is coming up from LA today to spend the weekend. So we're pretty excited. And earthquakes? No big thing. We'll just open another beer and ride it out. What else you gonna do?

    2. I went out there in the late 60s and lived in Lawndale, south of the LA airport. Had lots of earthquakes, only one scared me in early 1971, killed a number of people and buildings collapses- one was a hospital if I remember right.

  4. Good to hear that you & the family are doing ok Safe. *sigh of relief*

We lived in So. Cal. for several years, I was born out there in '61. We went through the Feb. 9, 1971 San Fernando earthquake but were not near the epicenter, (Sylmar, CA) but we had family who lived in Sylmar. They had several rental houses and sustained a lot of structural damage. When we drove over to check on them, I remember seeing brick apartment buildings, one of the brick apartment buildings.... half of it was standing, the other half..... rubble. Then seeing pictures on the news, the devastation. Mission San Fernando (built in colonial days) sustained damage.

Mom had a little dog and he howled eerily just moments before the quake hit.

You have the same thinking my brother Craig did... his bed was on casters and he said "if California is going into the ocean, then I'm going in comfort"....covered himself up and rode out the earthquake in bed.

Craig had an awesome sense of humor - he passed in 1982.... miss him alot.

  9. Well, no more big quakes here. But there are small aftershocks almost continually 24 hours a day. We don't feel them but they are there according to the people who track these things.

Ridgecrest, the main town that got hit was hit pretty hard. Turns out the area where the big quakes happened is considered earthquake central. Holy shit. Did not know that. So we move in 40 miles from earthquake central. Just my luck.

Guess it's just something you get used to, like tornadoes. Tornado events can go on for hours. Watches, warnings, storms passing through, maybe a tornado, maybe not. When one happens whatever is in it's path gets damaged.

Earthquakes are actually not as bad. They happen, they last a couple minutes, then it's over. Whatever was in it's path gets damaged. California has actually had pretty strong earthquake building codes for years, so the damage usually comes to older structures or people that ignored the earthquake preventions.

Of course, I'm saying all this because all I'm experiencing is some shaking. If I get wiped out all bets are off.

So keep us all in your prayers. Lots of aftershocks happening but they're small. But they are saying a big one might still come. And with the first two a lot of structures are weakened so the folks here need a break to fix stuff from the first two.

I'll keep you posted. Meantime, keep on Making America Great Again.

Christine Pelosi warns Democrats: 'Some of our faves' may be implicated in Epstein scandal

By Jeff Mordock - The Washington Times - Monday, July 8, 2019

Christine Pelosi warned Democrats that some of their favorite people could be caught up in the sex trafficking case against Jeffrey Epstein in a tweet Saturday just hours after the politically connected financier was arrested.

Ms. Pelsoi, a Democratic National Committee official and daughter of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, said members of both parties should follow the facts regardless of who was implicated.

“This Epstein case is horrific and the young women deserve justice. It is quite likely that some of our faves are implicated but we must follow the facts and let the chips fall where they may - whether on Republicans or Democrats,” she tweeted.

It is not clear if Ms. Pelsoi was referring to a specific person. Epstein has a history of mingling with well-known political figures.

In 2016, Fox News reported former President Bill Clinton flew aboard Epstein’s private jet at least 26 times, including without Secret Service protection, and President Trump had flown on the jet at least once before becoming a presidential candidate.

Epstein’s arrest has drawn scrutiny to Mr. Trump’s previous comments about the mysterious financier.

In a 2015 interview Mr. Trump told Fox News’ Sean Hannity that Epstein had “a lot of problems coming up.”

But in 2002, Mr. Trump reportedly was much more complimentary. His biographer, Tim O’Brien, tweeted an excerpt from a 2002 article about Epstein in New York Magazine. In the piece, Mr. Trump says, he’s known Epstein for years.

“Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with it. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do and many of them are on the younger side,” according to the article.

Epstein will be arraigned Monday in a New York courtroom on sex trafficking charges.

Bill Clinton issues statement on Jeffrey Epstein
By Victor Morton - The Washington Times - Monday, July 8, 2019

Former President Bill Clinton claimed in a statement Monday that he knows nothing about the pedophilia charges filed against financier Jeffrey Epstein.

A spokesman for the former president, who flew on Mr. Epstein’s Boeing 727 more than 20 times, said in a statement first reported by Fox News, that he “knows nothing” about the “terrible crimes” linked to Mr. Epstein.

The statement downplayed the extent of Mr. Clinton’s ties to the accused pedophile and said the trips had been tied to work with the Clinton Foundation.

  49. False hope breeds crippling apathy. This is what I have to think to myself when I see the news media fervor over the second arrest of billionaire Jefferey Epstein or similar events which in most cases end up fading into the background and forgotten. The public's favorite distraction has always been to watch high profile people kicked out of their castles in the clouds; but I would point out that even when the globalists sacrifice one of their own in the public eye it is usually only to satiate the masses and their hunger for justice for a very short time. The system is not designed to root out evil, it is designed to obscure it.
Epstein is a perfect example of this. He was already prosecuted on pedophilia charges over 12 years ago and received a "sweetheart" plea deal which allowed him to serve a mere 13-month sentence. How many child rapists get that kind of treatment in our court system? And what about the vast array of people (including political leaders) that were close friends and associates with Epstein during his "Lolita Express" days? Are we really to believe they knew nothing about what was going on? That they visited his island and never saw any wrongdoing?

Why didn't they come forward immediately? Why did they wait until Epstein was already being prosecuted before they publicly admonished him? Is it because they were involved in the same activities? And if so, why have they not been prosecuted as well?

    ReplyDelete
  50. What is also disgusting Sarge is that if this were an ordinary scum.... there would have been a stiffer jail sentence.

I, too, feel this is politically motivated - they do mention Trump (though this was several years before he decided to run for President). I can't help but feel that this was a new attack on President Trump but it back fired because Billy Boy sure took the spot light in this Epstein junk.

I said back in 2016 that Bill Clinton is a sex predator..... There will be more damning revelations coming out - I certainly hope that the end result is with Bill in jail and those who covered up for Bill to go to jail to for aiding and abetting.

    ReplyDelete
  51. But this is not just about Epstein Rikki as you mentioned, and as much as I would also like to see the guy hang for his crimes, I have to admit that this latest event is probably nothing more than another show meant to give the public false hope that the system is changing and that elitist criminals will be treated the same any other criminal. How often does this ever happen?

How about the Bernie Madoff scandal? Madoff runs a Ponzi scheme that devoured $65 billion in client funds and he is sentenced to 150 years in prison, but JP Morgan, the bank that helped Madoff move his stolen money, got nothing more than a fine.

In the wake of the 2008 credit crash and the exposure of the fraudulent derivatives market, many people though banker heads were going to roll, yet in the U.S. only one banker, a little-known executive at Credit Suisse named Kareem Sarageldin, actually served jail time. After admitting to fraud and inflating bond prices associated with mortgage backed securities, Sarageldin was sentenced to 30 months in prison. Fair????

    ReplyDelete
  52. you are absolutely right Sarge. Nothing is fair - corruption runs deep. If the defendant is up on charges and if they are a financial no body.... lots of jail time. If the defendant is wealthy with connections.... it's I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine kind of deal.

    Totally unfair.

Epstein should have been sent to jail for decades for his crimes.

Being he is a primary Democratic financial donor.... oh the list will be long and this is only the surface of the horrible whole story.

    ReplyDelete
  53. The corruption remains.

There are two options left; walk away peacefully from the system and build one that works on your own or with others of like mind Rikki. If we are successful, then expect the corrupt system and the elites behind it to try and stop use. When this happens, the only option left is to fight back and remove the threat. This is where we are inevitably headed, not because we want it, but because they will force the issue.

We can no longer deceive ourselves with notions of absorbing Washington D.C. or Wall Street and making them work for us. The hope that this is possible is poison, and the elites use that poison to weaken public resolve. While we sit around waiting for the system to police itself, the Earth turns and they become more powerful. Without a dramatic change in our own strategy, without direct action on our part instead of action through political middlemen, I predict our situation will only become much worse.

ANALYSIS: Second Democratic Debate to Occur Suspiciously Close to Mussolini’s Birthday
    Media turns a blind eye

    Andrew Stiles - JULY 9, 2019 12:50 PM

The second set of Democratic primary debates are scheduled to take place in suspiciously close proximity to Italian fascist dictator Benito Mussolini's birthday, a Free Beacon analysis found.

The debates, hosted by the controversial cable network CNN, will take place in Detroit over two nights on July 30-31. If Mussolini were alive today, according to the analysis, he would be getting ready to celebrate his 136th birthday on July 29. That's a difference of just one to two days.

Not surprisingly, the media has yet to report on these problematic circumstances. Maybe it's because they are too busy accusing President Donald J. Trump of being a "fascist dictator," while giving a free pass to a Democratic Party that goes out of its way to honor the memory of actual fascist dictators before our very eyes.

That's not all. The Democratic debate will also coincide with several other dark moments in history. For example, July 30 will mark the 82nd anniversary of the signing of NKVD Order No. 00447, which led to the arrest and execution of hundreds of thousands of "anti-Soviet elements" as part of Joseph Stalin's Great Purge. July 31 will mark the 58th anniversary of the first recorded "tie" in MLB All-Star Game History. A tie is an outcome, common in soccer but almost unheard of in real sports, in which neither team is declared the winner.

The media's reluctance to investigate the Democratic Party's unseemly behavior should come as no surprise. Not a single "mainstream" outlet, for example, made note of the fact that Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) unveiled her "free college" plan on April 22, which just happens to be the birthday of Communist mastermind Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, more commonly known as "Lenin."

No welfare checks, No inheritance, No free college, no free food, no free housing, etc. I'd be willing to trade even for a race card. Those seem to be way more useful and more widely accepted. The public spat between Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, and Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif, got a lot nastier on Wednesday, with the freshman congresswoman suggesting that the speaker is "singling out" her and her colleagues based on their race.

  78. Good morning back at ya! Boy, talk about a painful morning! I got up to find my television on, and on CNN! My young grandson had slept part of the night on the couch, so I don't know if he fell asleep on top of the remote or what but, when I tried to change the channel, it would not change! I changed the batteries thinking that was the problem, but still not able to change channels. The buttons on the side of the TV don't seem to work either! Thought maybe it was COX cable, but the other TV is working OK. Guess I will be watching TV in the bedroom tonight if I don't get this fixed! We shall see.
I will bet that Pelosi is starting to think about retirement! She can't seem to handle her brood! Very funny to watch! And wouldn't it be something if Chuckie Schumer and Bill Clinton went down with the Epstein thing! Wow! The thought of them with young girls sickens me! And the Trump Train rolls on!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Oh wow Gary.... that is painful.... tv being stuck on libtard CNN.... ouch.

Well, I guess you could unplug the tv from the wall.... take away the power source... :)

Pelosi has her hands full with the freshman brat brigade... there should be a limitation on Congress.... there's a limitation on the office of President, it should be likewise with Congress.... and once they're done with their term in office, no chance of bringing them back.... it was a mistake for Pelosi to be Speaker....

Epstein never should have been release from jail.... and Schumer and Clinton.... double yuk and puke!

  80. This may be the most feckless boycott ever conceived.

The people who participate in these boycotts are predominantly millennials. Millennials who would participate in anti-Trump boycotts are not do-it-yourselfers. Most of them don't know which end of a hammer to hold, much less how to actually build something (the exception being a burgeoning group of millennial women getting into crafting). They have Trump Derangement Syndrome going for them, and nothing else.

As Forbes pointed out a few years ago:

In fact, millennials are unfamiliar with a broad range of life skills. They are less likely than older generations to know how to sew, make basic home repairs, or drive manual-transmission cars. With GPS always at their fingertips, many never really learned to use physical landmarks to guide them. Some can't even imagine how people functioned before mobile IT. One Millennial wrote an article asking older people how they used to look up information, meet up with friends in public places, and handle getting lost without smartphones. A Boomer responded that he visited the library, scheduled meet-ups, and learned to read a road map.

Home Depot has nothing to worry about.

AOC's Chief: The Real Green New Deal — Socialism
Her chief of staff admits the goal is a socialist takeover of America's entire economy.

    Thomas Gallatin · Jul. 12, 2019

In a recent Washington Post story featuring Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti, he gleefully admits the real agenda behind the dubious Green New Deal. “The interesting thing about the Green New Deal,” Chakrabarti states, “is it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all.” He then adds, “Do you guys think of it as a climate thing? Because we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire economy thing.”

Chakrabarti recently met with Washington Gov. and Democrat presidential candidate Jay Inslee’s climate director, Sam Ricketts, to discuss their climate platform. He argued that Inslee’s focus on the environment was too limited. “I’ll be honest,” Chakrabarti said, “my view is, I still think you guys aren’t going big enough.”

While the revelation of AOC’s intentions behind the Green New Deal is not surprising (given the text of the bill), what is surprising is how freely her chief of staff admits to it being a guise by which to further a socialist takeover of the economy. Chakrabarti only confirms what Mark Alexander observed earlier this year: “This behemoth ‘climate change’ charade is … about the implementation of socialist economic policies. That consequence is evident in the fact that the absurd mandates of the GND (as outlined in its FAQ document, which was quickly removed from public view) would result in catastrophic worldwide economic collapse.”

AOC is an unapologetic socialist, but like all leftists, she cannot sell her socialism on its own merits, as none exist. Therefore, she co-opts a “problem” issue and proclaims socialism to be the only viable “solution,” when in fact nothing could be further from the truth. But her chief of staff let the cat out of the bag. It’s not really about the climate. It’s really about setting up a socialist totalitarian system in which the elites control everyone else.

Ilhan Omar retweets article branding all Trump supporters as racists

By Victor Morton - The Washington Times - Updated: 6:02 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2019
Rep. Ilhan Omar retweeted an article Sunday afternoon that made a flat blanket declaration that all supporters of President Trump are racists.

The Minnesota Democrat retweeted CNN contributor Wajahat Ali’s link to a Daily Beast article that declares in its headline and in the tweet Ms. Omar sent to her 1.15 million followers that “Trump Is a Racist. If You Still Support Him, So Are You.”

Ms. Omar has frequently called Mr. Trump a racist, including Sunday in the wake of his now-deleted comments on Twitter that she and other progressive freshmen House members should “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came … come back and show us how it is done.”

But she had not previously categorized all Trump supporters in the way the Daily Beast article did. If Ms. Omar did not agree with the headline she sent out, there was no obvious sign of that Sunday evening.

“The president is a racist, in his words and his actions. Before you go clutching your pearls and extolling the virtues of “civility,” let me say this: Put a sock in it,” the Daily Beast article by Goldie Taylor began.

Ms. Taylor elaborated that “every person” not talking about what she called this obvious fact “is part of the problem.”

“This is not a new revelation, nor is it something that we can continue to ignore as though it were coming from a drunk uncle at the family barbecue. … Every person talking about his clothes as he cheerfully bares his ass is part of the problem,” she claimed.

Ms. Taylor concluded that “his words Sunday were not racially ‘charged,’ ‘fueled,’ or ‘tinged.’ They were unapologetically racist. And, if you support him, so are you.”
