  5. But...but..According to the Main Stream Media the testimony was so compelling and believable! I mean like, "My brother told me that our cousin from Florida called our Mother and said that he heard one side of a phone conversation while sitting in the restaurant. He wasn't sure but he thought they were talking about the President and that he had told the Ukrainian President that if Biden wins the nomination, then he won't pay them any more funding so they had better come up with some dirt on him! Now this is just hearsay you understand, but according to one of the Dem Congressmen, hearsay evidence is even better than actual first hand evidence!

House Republicans call on ABC to explain why it spiked Jeffrey Epstein story
Letter to network expresses concern that 'ABC chose to bury the truth'
By Valerie Richardson - The Washington Times - Monday, November 18, 2019

Top House Republicans turned up the heat Sunday on ABC News, calling on the network to explain why it sat on a story about convicted sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein and whether it contacted authorities with evidence of sex-trafficking.

In a Sunday letter to ABC News President James Goldston, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and two other leading Republicans said they were concerned that the network sought to “bury the truth” about anchor Amy Robach’s reporting.

“I am deeply concerned that this victim, in search of justice, went to ABC News, provided information and an interview, and ABC chose to bury the truth,” the letter said. “This was a decision that Ms. Robach alluded was due to protecting powerful people or financial interests.”

The Republicans asked ABC to provide Congress with the interview of Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who has alleged that the late billionaire used her as a teen sex slave, and explain whether any “outside forces” were involved in spiking the story.

ABC said in a statement that the story failed to meet its standards for broadcasting after Project Veritas posted Nov. 5 an off-the-air video showing Ms. Robach venting about the network’s refusal to air her story for three years.

In a separate statement, Ms. Robach said that she was “upset that an important video I had conducted with Virginia Roberts didn’t air because we could not obtain sufficing corroborating evidence to meet ABC’s editorial standards about her allegations.”

Her initial comments on a hot-mic video came after Epstein was found dead Aug. 10 in his New York City jail cell after being charged with sex trafficking. His death was ruled a suicide.

In the leaked footage, Ms. Robach also said Prince Andrew was implicated in her interview. He denied in a BBC interview that aired Saturday having sex with Ms. Giuffre, saying he had no recollection of meeting her, and that he regretted staying at the billionaire’s Manhattan mansion in 2010.

Epstein was convicted in 2008 of prostitution of a minor in Palm Beach, Florida, serving 13 months in prison.

ABC has said it will pursue and hold accountable the person who leaked the video, but the Republicans argued that “uncovering the source of the information is incomparably less important than the possibility of exposing the source of a human trafficking operation.”

Last week, former ABC producer Ashley Bianco said in an interview with Megyn Kelly that she was fired from her new job at CBS over the Robach video, which Ms. Bianco denied leaking.

The Washington Times has reached out to ABC for comment.

The letter was also signed by Rep. Doug Collins, ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, and Rep. Michael McCaul, ranking member of the House Foreign Relations Committee.

  10. It is almost impossible to believe that Trump has not been on to this cabal's fraudulent scheme for a long time now. Adm. Mike Rogers clued him in to the Obama administration's listening in (wire-tapping) on his phones at Trump Tower in 2015. That was when he moved his campaign headquarters to New Jersey. He has known since then what they were up to, so isn't it possible that he has been setting them up for the past three years? Could he be manipulating Pelosi, Schiff, and their henchmen into a world-class implosion? It is beginning to seem this may be true. As the actual transcripts of Schiff's not-witnesses are released and when actual journalists read them, it becomes clearer and clearer that they have nothing. This attempt to impeach is all about covering up their own crimes. If this is true then Trump will have kept his ultimate and most important promise, to drain the swamp.

Supreme Court halts turn over of Trump tax returns
By Alex Swoyer - The Washington Times - Updated: 1:54 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2019

The Supreme Court temporarily halted a lower court order Monday requiring President Trump’s accounting firm to turn over his tax records to House Democrats in their impeachment probe.

Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. granted the administration’s request to stay the federal appeals court ruling against Mr. Trump until “further order” — for now — as the high court decides whether or not to hear the president’s challenge.

The president’s legal team had petitioned the high court last week asking the justices to put on hold a ruling from the lower courts siding with the Committee on Oversight and Reform, which issued a subpoena in February for eight years of the president’s tax returns in the House Democrats’ impeachment investigation.

They specifically sought financial records from Mazars USA LLP, the accounting firm for the president, dating back to 2011.

Mr. Trump’s lawyers told the justices a stay of the appeals court decision was necessary so that the justices could review a case of first impression, warning against the implications of the lower court’s move if Mr. Trump has to turn over the personal financial records at this time.

“Given the temptation to dig up dirt on political rivals, intrusive subpoenas into personal lives of presidents will become our new normal in times of divided government — no matter which party is in power. If every committee chairman is going to have this unbounded authority, this court should be the one to say so,” Mr. Trump’s lawyers argued in court papers last week.

On Monday, Douglas Letter, general counsel for the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, had sent a letter to the court, agreeing to a brief 10-day stay while the parties filed their court papers debating the need for an injunction while the case is being considered.

Norman Matoon Thomas Was a leading American socialist, pacifist, and six time presidential candidate for the socialist party of America. The socialist party for president of the U S Norman Thomas said this in a 1944 speech.

"" The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation without knowing how it happened .""
He went on to say: "I no longer need to run as a presidential candidate for the socialist party."
"The Democratic party has adopted our platform"

Let that sink in Are you paying attention yet? It was all part of their planned takeover of America If your not scared you aren't listening.

Ken Starr: Witnesses Haven’t Accused Trump of Breaking the Law
'The idea it's an impeachable offense is to me quite extreme, it's extravagant'
    Paul Crookston - NOVEMBER 19, 2019 1:35 PM

Former independent counsel Ken Starr said Tuesday that the impeachment hearings have yet to produce any compelling testimony from witnesses accusing President Donald Trump of any unlawful acts.

Starr, who conducted the investigation that led to President Bill Clinton's impeachment, said that impeaching Trump based on the evidence offered in the opening days of the hearing would be an "extravagant" move.

"What we hear is ‘improper,'" Starr said about witnesses' testimony so far. "I've never heard the suggestion ‘unlawful.' I think again the president's judgment is being called into question—whether this is wise or not, but not a crime."

Starr criticized House Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff (D., Calif.) for acting as a prosecutor rather than an evenhanded leader of his committee.

"The chairman has chosen to be chief prosecutor," Starr said. "He long ago left the idea of being the fair and balanced chair of the committee, and he uses terms such as bribery and extortion. But we're not hearing that from the witnesses."

Fox News host Bill Hemmer asked Starr about ranking Republican Devin Nunes's (Calif.) approach at the hearings. "What he's driving at is there really is no crime," Starr replied. "This is in the nature, as we've been saying, of an oversight hearing. Do we like the president's style? Was it an appropriate thing for him to do? And reasonable people can say he should not have done that. Perfectly reasonable conclusion. But the idea that this is an impeachable offense is to me quite extreme, it's extravagant."

Starr said congressional Democrats were wielding their impeachment power as a political weapon.

"It's certainly not what the founding generation intended," he said. "Here we are 11 months and a few days away from a presidential election. It's extravagant, it's political."

During Starr's independent counsel investigation, President Clinton did commit a crime by lying under oath. The GOP-controlled House impeached him for perjury and obstruction of justice, but the Democrat-led Senate did not vote to convict him. The Senate was split 50-50 on whether Clinton obstructed justice, falling short of the needed 67 votes to convict.

Starr later said he regretted how his investigation turned to Clinton's sexual relationship with then-White House intern Monica Lewinsky, although he said he still sees "no practical alternative." Clinton stridently denied the allegations but eventually admitted he had engaged in a relationship with Lewinsky.

    ReplyDelete
  38. The thing that got me about Vindman was when he said after listening to the phone call he thought it was just "wrong" what he thought President Trump was doing based on that one call but when a Republican Congressman ask for his opinion on what Biden said about holding the Billion $ from Ukraine, although he had seen the video that we have all seen, he said he could not give an opinion of whether what Biden did was "wrong" just based on the one example! Now how does that work?

  39. Hell of a note when the democrat/commie rat bastards believe they can overturn an election and remove the legally duly elected President of the United States based on what a handful of entrenched democrat commie swamp dwellers "feel". Since when does that work? Only in America.

If that was the case we should have impeached the Kenyan Marxist on day one. Several million of us felt he was a commie rat bastard. And we were correct. He was just more the Alger Hiss type instead of the Joe Stalin type. Work slowly to dismantle the system through deception and misinformation. These rat bastards today are more the go to war and blow the whole thing up types. Bothe dangerous.

The Marxist from Kenya did a lot of damage to our country that will take decades to repair. This current show trial by these Bolsheviks hiding in plain sight are running. This kind of seditious insurrection would have been unthinkable 50 years ago. Now it's running on prime time TV and being cheered by the commie rat bastard media.

What a world we're living in. Alger Hiss would be a commentator on CNN today and hailed as a here instead of tossed in prison where he belonged.

Sondland doesn't bite on Schiff's effort to put bow on impeachment
    By S.A. Miller - The Washington Times - Updated: 11:14 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2019

Rep. Adam B. Schiff labored Wednesday to put a fine point on testimony that President Trump pushed a quid pro quo deal with Ukraine, insisting that the effort was aimed at helping the president’s re-election campaign.

But Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland, who confirmed the quid pro quo, refused to connect the dots.

Mr. Schiff pressed him about the deal in which Mr. Trump offered a White House visit to Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky in exchange for investigations into 2016 election meddling and Burisma Holdings, the Ukraine energy company linked to former Vice President Joseph R. Biden.

SEE ALSO: White House sees impeachment ‘pipe dream’ losing steam

“The meeting was a quid pro quo for what the president wanted, these two investigations, and everyone knew it,” asked Mr. Schiff, the chairman of the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence conducting the impeachment probe.

    “Correct,” replied Mr. Sondland.

Mr. Schiff attempting to seal the impeachment case by describing the exchange as an “official act” of an Oval Office meeting provided for the president’s personal benefit.

“In order to perform that official act, Donald Trump wanted these two investigations that would help his re-election campaign,” he asked.

“I can’t characterize why he wanted them. All I can tell you is this is what we heard from Mr. Giuliani,” he said, referring to Mr. Trump’s private lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani.

Mr. Sondland stopped short of neatly tying a bow on Democrats’ impeachment case. But he also suggested more intrigue was taking place by saying the investigations did not have to be conducted, only announced by Mr. Zelensky.

“He had to announce the investigations, he didn’t have to actually do it, as I understood it,” said Mr. Sondland.

By Dave Boyer - The Washington Times - Updated: 11:58 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2019

President Trump said Wednesday that Ambassador to the EU Gordon Sondland’s testimony should end the impeachment effort because Mr. Sondland testified that Mr. Trump told him he didn’t want anything from Ukraine.

“This is the final word from the president of the United States: I want nothing,” Mr. Trump told reporters, reciting Mr. Sondland’s testimony from handwritten notes. “That means it’s all over.”

Mr. Trump, who did not answer reporters’ questions, said of Mr. Sondland, “I don’t know him very well.”

“I have not spoken to him much,” the president said. “This is not a man I know well. He seems like a nice guy though.”

He spoke to reporters after watching Mr. Sondland’s testimony on TV, and briefly delayed his trip to Texas to visit an Apple high-tech facility.

Mr. Trump’s helicopter, Marine One, arrived on the South Lawn near the appointed departure time of 10:45 a.m. and sat for nearly an hour, as Mr. Sondland testified on Capitol Hill.

Finally emerging, the president spoke from handwritten notes clipped to a stack of papers and punctuated his statements with a rising voice and hand gestures.

He offered a blow-by-blow of his conversations with Mr. Sondland before walking to the helicopter.

A reminder of the impeachment inquiry was apparent at a busy intersection near the White House, where a man held up a sign reading, “Honk if you think he’s guilty.”

FBI requests interview with Ukraine whistleblower
    by Daniel Chaitin & Jerry Dunleavy | November 20, 2019 02:25 PM

The FBI sought an interview with the CIA analyst whose whistleblower complaint kicked off impeachment proceedings against President Trump.

An agent from the FBI's Washington field office called one of the whistleblower's attorneys in October, but an interview has not yet been scheduled, according to multiple reports.

It is unclear what the bureau hopes to ask the whistleblower. An FBI representative declined to comment. The whistleblower's attorneys did not immediately return a request for comment.

The complaint from a CIA analyst, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, was filed in August, raising concerns about Trump improperly pressuring Ukraine to announce investigations into his political rivals. Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson deemed the complaint to be urgent and credible, and it spurred the House Democrats' impeachment effort examining whether the president abused his office.

The Justice Department received a criminal referral about a potential campaign finance violation in relation to Trump's July 25 phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, a central tenet of the whistleblower complaint, but declined to take action after conducting a review by the Criminal Division.

But FBI counterintelligence officials remained uneasy about the complaint's assertion that Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani and two of his recently indicted associates may have been manipulated by Russian interests, according to a former senior U.S. intelligence official.

“There were guys within the [intelligence community] who believe this is another Russian attempt,” the former official told Yahoo News. “People think Giuliani is being led down the primrose path.”

The CIA analyst wrote about being "concerned that these actions pose risks to U.S. national security and undermine the U.S. Government’s efforts to deter and counter foreign interference in U.S. elections" in the complaint filed on Aug. 12.

The whistleblower's legal team has offered to have their client respond to written questions in the House impeachment effort, but will not allow an in-person interview as demanded by Republicans.

"Identifying any suspected name for the whistleblower will place their family at risk of serious harm," said Andrew Bakaj and Mark Zaid, lawyers for the whistleblower.

Ties between Trump's 2016 campaign and Russia were the subject of an FBI counterintelligence investigation that was later wrapped into special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian election interference, which ended earlier this year. Mueller stated his team could not establish that Trump committed a crime, but also said the president was not exonerated.

During his July 24 testimony, one day before Trump's call with Zelensky, Mueller hinted at the existence of an ongoing FBI counterintelligence investigations stemming from his investigation.

Giuliani, a former mayor of New York City, became Trump's personal attorney in April 2018 to contend with the Mueller investigation. Witnesses in the impeachment effort have accused him of running a shadow foreign policy with Ukraine outside of normal channels.

Giuliani has said his outreach in Ukraine, seeking answers about corruption allegations against former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter and a conspiracy theory regarding CrowdStrike, stemmed from his effort to defend his client during the special counsel inquiry.
