Another swing and a miss...

Another swing and a miss.

I have a question for you, Blue.

Don't you people ever get tired of making fools of yourselves?

Seriously.

Regardless of how many times Rachel Madcow promises you otherwise there's no way in hell you're going to remove President Trump from office.

That's just a fact.

You can either accept that simple truth or not.

Makes me no difference.

But here's what I hope.

I hope this charade drags on for a few more months.

Then I hope your beloved communist loving democrats actually introduce articles of impeachment and vote to send it to the senate.

And even though there's not a chance in hell they'll vote to remove him, I hope they drag it out for another few months.

Why?

Because by law all your socialist embracing senators currently running for president will be barred from campaigning.

That'll leave the field wide open for your favorite pedophile Uncle Joe Biden to do as he pleases.

Yeah, I know, you're going to point to a whole host of fake polls showing Biden beating Trump.

You can shove those polls up your ass.

The thing you're not figuring in is how badly he'll be damaged once the American people learn more about the real quid pro quo and corruption he and his loser son Hunter were involved in.

You know, Blue, there was a time when I'd gladly accept you on the Trump Train.

Those days are over.

Once again you'll be left behind wallowing in your own shit.

Ratings fall flat as most Americans tune out impeachment spectacle
By Stephen Dinan and Valerie Richardson - The Washington Times - Wednesday, November 20, 2019

There are about 330 million Americans. According to the ratings, nearly 320 million of them aren’t watching the House impeachment proceedings against President Trump.

Despite television networks’ fervent belief that the country should be paying attention, with wall-to-wall coverage on all the cable news stations and most of the broadcast networks, the early days of hearings have drawn paltry ratings, as viewers vote with their eyes.

“It’s on constantly but I’m not paying any attention to it,” said Emily Brown, a waitress at Mandy’s, a popular breakfast and lunch spot near New Orleans.

In Omaha, Nebraska, bartenders told The Washington Times that their channels are tuned to sports, and they’ve not had patrons asking to change the channel.

On the city’s streets the spectacle drew yawns as well.

ANALYSIS: Despite Schiff’s claims, whistleblower has no 'statutory right' to anonymity
    by Jerry Dunleavy | November 21, 2019 06:00 AM

Rep. Adam Schiff has repeatedly stated in impeachment hearings in front of the House Intelligence Committee that the Ukraine whistleblower has “a statutory right to anonymity” and blocking Republican questions about him.

The problem, many legal experts say, is that the committee chairman, a California Democrat, is wrong — no specific legal requirement to shield the whistleblower’s identity from the public exists.

"“There is no language in the statute as written — or amended — that gives a whistleblower from the intelligence community the statutory right to anonymity,” Cully Stimson, a former Pentagon official and the head of the Heritage Foundation’s National Security Law Program, told the Washington Examiner. "That’s separate and distinct from whether Congress wants to make the decision to not provide the name — that’s at the discretion of the chairman.”

    Impeachment going nowhere fast
By Michael Reagan November 20, 2019

    Spoiler alert.

The Democrats’ big dream of impeaching President Trump is going nowhere.

Act I of the pathetic Trump impeachment hearings they are staging in the House for the next week was not just an obvious sham, it was a political bust that is going to backfire badly on the Democrats.

There were no fireworks, no bombshells. Just boring-as-hell TV.

The president’s bigger-than-Nixon crime, claim the Democrats and liberal media, was an alleged quid-pro-quo deal that he tried to pull off with Ukrainian President Zelensky — what the deluded Democrats now prefer to call an act of “bribery” — for his own political gain.

The president’s fictitious deal involved withholding U.S military aid to Ukraine until Zelensky publicly investigated Hunter Biden, who became a highly paid board member of a corrupt Ukrainian gas company while his father Joe just happened to be in charge of the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy.

It doesn’t matter to the Democrats that the U.S. military aid to Ukraine was not withheld, and that the investigation of the son of Trump’s potential 2020 political opponent by Zelensky’s government never happened.

Those important facts, like so many others, are irrelevant to serial liar Adam Schiff and his Housemates who are still desperately searching for an actual high crime to hang their fading Trump impeachment dream on.

The Democrats’ lead-off “star witnesses” on Wednesday were two supposedly nonpartisan State Department diplomats stationed in Ukraine.

CNN and most of the liberal media — who couldn’t stop calling them patriots — think the testimony of these bureaucrats proved beyond a doubt that Trump was close to being a war criminal.

But all we really got from the stuffy diplomatic duo were several hours of “he-said, they-said, I-heard-that, I-overhead-this” hearsay and complaints that their boss, President Trump, was not conducting foreign policy the way they wanted him to.

You’d never know it from the liberal media’s historical ignorance and biased coverage, but Trump isn’t the first president to have differences with his own state department or use non-state department personnel to perform foreign policy work.

State departments are staffed by career diplomats and bureaucrats who never leave, never seem to die and often end up working for many presidents of both parties.

All state department employees have their own opinions about what our foreign policy should or should not be, but their job is not to form it or even like it.

Their job is basically to shut up and implement the foreign policy of whatever president is elected.

For good and bad, that’s how it works and always has — the president is the chief executive and gets the final say when it comes to foreign policy.

  10. Hunter Biden knocked up the woman he was cheating on his dead brother's wife with. Now proven by paternity tests. All the while collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars for serving on the board of a corrupt oil company in order to bribe the Vice President of the United States for favored treatment. And the VP Biden demanded Ukraine fire the prosecutor who was investigating the corruption. Outrage by the left? No. Investigations by dem/commies? No. Congressional hearings to "get to the bottom of the abuse of power? No.

President Trump makes a phone call to Ukraine asking them to investigate corruption and the commie left goes apeshit.

Our President fires an ambassador, completely under the authority granted him by the consititution and the left goes insane.

Obama and hillary let an ambassador and three Seals die after being tortured at the hands of terrorists at an American embassy. Outrage from the left? Nope.

These commie rat bastards should be thrown in prison for attempting to overthrow the government. They should be arrested, marched out in cuffs and thrown in Guantamo Bay along with the other America hating terrorists who tried to destroy our country.

These people are criminals and should be treated as such.

The good news is the President's approval numbers in real polls continues to rise. The godless commie rat bastard left is lying when they say otherwise. But then they are lying pretty much every time they speak.

Americans sour on impeachment, more now oppose ousting Trump: Poll
    By S.A. Miller - The Washington Times - Thursday, November 21, 2019

A larger share of American voters now oppose the impeachment effort against President Trump, revealed a new poll released Thursday.

An Emerson College national survey found 45% of voters oppose impeachment, compared to 43% that support it.

That’s a reversal of public opinion from the same poll in October before House Democrats held public hearings to showcase their impeachment case against Mr. Trump. In October, 48% supported impeachment and 44% opposed it.

“The biggest swing is among Independents, who oppose impeachment now 49% to 34%, which is a reversal from October where they supported impeachment 48% to 39%,” said the pollsters.

Mr. Tump’s approval rating also increased to 48%, a bounce from 43% approval last month.

The impeachment hearings are being watched or followed by 69% of voters, according to the poll.

A plurality of 26% said they were getting their information from Fox News, while 24% are tuning in to either ABC, NBC or CBS. Another 16% watch CNN and 15% watch MSNBC, with 19% going somewhere else for impeachment coverage.

The poll of 1,092 registered voters was conducted Sunday through Wednesday. The survey had a 2.9% margin of error, according to Emerson Polling.

California Supreme Court strikes down law that would have required Trump to reveal tax returns
    by Ellie Bufkin | November 21, 2019 01:42 PM

The California Supreme Court ruled against a new state law that required presidential candidates to provide their personal tax returns in order to be eligible for election.

A federal judge also blocked the law from being enforced in September. U.S. District Judge Morrison C. England Jr. cited the already existing Ethics in Government Act and rejected the new law as superfluous, saying enforcement would cause "irreparable harm without temporary relief" to people seeking the office of president. Several lawsuits were filed in response to the law being enacted in July, including by President Trump.

The law rejected by the Supreme Court, SB 27, would have required any person running for president to disclose five years of income tax returns to secure a spot on the state primary ballot. Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom cited a departure from politics as usual as the reason he chose to sign the controversial measure into law. "These are extraordinary times, and states have a legal and moral duty to do everything in their power to ensure leaders seeking the highest offices meet minimal standards and to restore public confidence," he said in July.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.

Fiona Hill says 'Ukraine bet on the wrong horse' in 2016 by backing Hillary
By Gabriella Muñoz - The Washington Times - Thursday, November 21, 2019

Russia expert and former National Security Council official Fiona Hill told House lawmakers Thursday that she couldn’t blame President Trump for being upset with officials from other countries for criticizing him during the 2016 presidential election.

“Many officials from many countries, including Ukraine, bet on the wrong horse. They believed former [Secretary of State Hillary] Clinton … was going to win,” she said. “And many said some pretty disparaging and pretty hurtful things about President Trump, and I can’t blame him for feeling aggrieved about them.”

She told the House Select Permanent Committee on Intelligence that when preparing for state visits after Mr. Trump was elected, officials collected all the statements from “senior officials” from other nations, including American allies, that were harshly critical of the president.

However, she noted that Mr. Trump had a different reaction to the Ukrainians.

“The difference here, however, is that hasn’t had any major impact on his feelings towards those countries. Not that I have seen,” she said. “But I have also heard the president say … that Ukraine ‘tried to take me down.’”

In 2016, the Ukrainian ambassador to the U.S. wrote an opinion piece criticizing Mr. Trump’s comments that as president he would consider recognizing Crimea as Russian, rather than Ukrainian.

Ms. Hill on Wednesday said the column was “not an advisable thing to do.”

Republicans have argued that Mr. Trump’s suspicion of Ukraine was warranted because of critical comments made by a number of Ukrainian officials about Mr. Trump before the 2016 election.

Ms. Hill acknowledged that a handful Ukrainians were “trying to curry favor” with the Clinton team to collect information on Trump allies such as Paul Manafort. But she stressed those efforts were not part of an official government push, in stark contrast to the full-on assault from Russia.

GOP congressman accuses Schiff of abusing his power during impeachment hearings
    by John Gage | November 21, 2019 04:17 PM

Rep. Mike Conaway accused House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff of abusing his power during one of the impeachment hearings held Thursday on Capitol Hill.

Conaway, a Texas Republican, became frustrated with Schiff after the California Democrat attempted to cut him off during questioning.

"Mr. Conaway, your time is expired," Schiff told Conaway before telling the witness, David Holmes, "You were cut off when you were talking about Mr. Sondland’s indiscretion. Did you want to finish that answer?"

"Mr. Chairman, that’s patently unfair. As is this entire investigation," Conaway shot back. Schiff said Conaway had repeatedly cut off witnesses before, a comment that elicited a furious response from the Texas Republican.

"You are certainly willing to interrupt me during my five minutes. You are the only person on this dais who has unlimited time. You have absolutely unlimited time. You're the only one that has abused that power and you are continuing to do that," Conaway said. Schiff responded by telling Conaway to "cease."

The latest fight between the two congressmen came after Conaway railed against Schiff on Tuesday for concealing the whistleblower's identity. "Mr. Chairman, I would like, as a personal request, I request that you and/or one of your lawyers, one of the members of the committee, put into the record the federal statute that provides for the absolute immunity, right to immunity, that you've exerted over and over and over," Conaway said, adding he did not believe there is such a statute.

Ex-FBI lawyer reportedly under investigation for altering Russia probe document
By Jeff Mordock - The Washington Times - Thursday, November 21, 2019

A former FBI lawyer is being investigated for allegedly altering a document connected to the surveillance of Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, according to a report Thursday.

CNN reported the investigation, citing several sources briefed on the matter.

The FBI official was not identified nor is it clear exactly how the allegedly altered document influenced the investigation of Mr. Page. Sources told CNN the changes were significant enough to manipulate the document’s meaning.

The alleged changes were discovered as part of Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s probe into allegations the FBI abused its power when applying for a surveillance warrant for Mr. Page.

Mr. Horowitz gave the document to John Durham, a U.S. Attorney who is leading the investigation into the origins of the FBI’s Russia probe. The document is at least one focus of Mr. Durham’s criminal probe, CNN reported.

A witness admitted to changing the document, CNN said.

The revelation is a shot in the arm for President Trump and his allies, who have argued that the FBI’s Russia probe was a politically-motivated effort to undercut his possible election.

Mr. Horowitz’s long-awaited report will be released on Dec. 9, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham said Thursday.

Trump says he wants Schiff to testify at Senate impeachment trial

By Dave Boyer - The Washington Times - Updated: 9:24 a.m. on Friday, November 22, 2019
President Trump said Friday he wants a trial in the Senate to clear him of partisan impeachment accusations.

“I want a trial,” Mr. Trump said on “Fox & Friends.” “There should never be an impeachment. But assuming these people [House Democrats] are as sleazy as they are … I want to see Adam Schiff testify about the whistleblower, who’s a fake whistleblower. The one who I want to testify most is ‘Shifty Schiff.’ “

Mr. Schiff, California Democrat and chairman of the House intelligence committee, said his staff had contact with the whistleblower before the person filed his complaint against Mr. Trump.

But the president said he still isn’t expecting to be impeached in the House.

“I think it’s very hard for them to impeach me when they have absolutely nothing,” Mr. Trump said. “You’ve seen the polls, I’m through the roof. If you look at those swing states, I’m way up in every one of them because of this impeachment thing.”

Senior White House officials and Senate Republicans agreed on Thursday the Senate should hold a full trial if the House impeaches the president, according to people familiar with the matter, believing that a trial will show the weakness of Democrats’ case. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Kentucky Republican, has argued against a quick dismissal of the case in the GOP-led Senate.

Mr. Trump also said he wants Hunter Biden, son of former Vice President Joseph R. Biden, a 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, to be called as a witness in a Senate trial. The trial would likely be held in January.

'No crime there': Dershowitz backs Trump after impeachment hearings
    by Dominick Mastrangelo | November 22, 2019 10:56 AM

Constitutional scholar Alan Dershowitz claimed Democrats are running an illegitimate impeachment process and that President Trump does not deserve to be removed from office.

"I'm a liberal Democrat," Dershowitz said on Mark Levin's radio program Thursday. "And I'm on the side of Donald Trump on this issue."

The investigation, led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democratic leadership, centers on a July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during which Trump pressured the foreign leader to investigate a political rival.

An intelligence agency whistleblower alleged the call to have been part of a quid pro quo between the United States and Ukraine, with foreign aid being used as a bargaining chip.

"I voted for Hillary Clinton," Dershowitz said after watching four days of public impeachment hearings on the Ukraine scandal. "Because I believe in the constitution more than I believe in partisan politics."

Dershowitz said both Democrats and Republicans have misused the power of impeachment over the years, but Democrats have no case against Trump.

The Constitution dictates a high crime or misdemeanor must have taken place in order to remove a sitting president from office.

"There's no crime there," he said. "You can argue that maybe there is an abuse of the foreign policy, but there is no crime there."

Dershowitz lamented a chorus of former federal prosecutors on cable television who are interpreting the current impeachment proceedings in a politically convenient way.

"They are just partisan political operatives or spokespeople who just make the law come out the way they want it to," he said. "I've become very unpopular among my liberal friends because I'm telling it the way I've always told it."

Prince Andrew kicked out of Buckingham Palace over Jeffrey Epstein scandal
    By Ebony BowdenNovember 22, 2019 | 2:31pm

Disgraced Prince Andrew has been kicked out of his offices at Buckingham Palace.

The British royal reportedly got his marching orders and was told to clear out on Friday — just days after announcing he was formally stepping away from official duties after a “car crash” interview defending his friendship with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, the Times of London reported.

According to the report, the 59-year-old prince was told he and his staff would have to find another location to do business.

It is the latest humiliation for Andrew this week in the wake of reports suggesting the disgraced Duke of York was sacked by his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who was reportedly concerned the scandal would tarnish the rest of the famous household.

    ____

Again, not making light of Prince Andrew's involvement with Epstein.... but why isn't the brain dead media not going after Bill Clinton!! He was more deeply involved with Epstein and Bill's sex predator life style is no secret!

    On a side note:

Regarding the hyprocrisy of the monarchy.... King Edward abdicated the throne because he wasn't allowed to marry the woman he loved, Wallis Simpson.... because she was twice divorced - that forced King George VI onto the throne.

Fast forward to Charles & Diana.... I dit wasn't until after Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mum died that Charles married Camilla. Now with Charles in line for the throne, Camilla (a divorcee) will sit on the throne as queen consort. Now how hyprocritical is all that bullshit?!

Epstein had bizarre painting of Bill Clinton in dress, heels in townhouse
    By Larry Celona and Chris PerezAugust 14, 2019 | 6:28pm | Updated

    It’s certainly a conversation starter.

Jeffrey Epstein had an oil painting of Bill Clinton in a blue dress — lounging on a chair in the Oval Office — hanging up in his Manhattan townhouse, according to law enforcement sources.

“It was hanging up there prominently — as soon as you walked in — in a room to the right,” a source told The Post. “Everybody who saw it laughed and smirked.”

But the bizarre home decor didn’t stop there.

Epstein, 66, also kept a mannequin hanging from the ceiling — dressed up in a wedding gown, the source said, noting how the doll was situated above a staircase.

A woman who visited Epstein’s $56 million home confirmed the existence of the Clinton painting to the Daily Mail, but didn’t mention the mannequin. She was able to snap a picture of the painting, which was posted online Wednesday.

In it, the former president can be seen lounging on a chair in the Oval Office — pointing toward the viewer — while wearing red heels and a blue dress similar to the one Monica Lewinsky famously donned during their White House hookup.

A piece dubbed “Parsing Bill” was painted and sold by a New York-based artist named Petrina Ryan-Kleid. Saatchi Art, an online art gallery, describes it as an “oil on canvas” with dimensions of 40 W x 40 H x 2 in. The painting inside Epstein’s home appears to be the same size, and sources told The Post it was also done with oil.

Attempts to reach Ryan-Kleid were unsuccessful on Wednesday night. A relative, when reached by telephone, said he knew of the painting’s existence but was unaware of a connection to Epstein.

The Clinton camp did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

  40. I'm assuming you're already back to sleep, Sarge.

But I've thought about your question.

I think we're on page one of a brand new book titled "The Day Republicans Grew A Set Of Balls."

    This is their moment.

They either stand with the president and the American people or they fade away as a party of weak do nothing place holders.

    Time will tell...

  41. You assumed right Kevin Time will tell, but in the mean Time Trump will just have to keep on Winning...MAGA

  42. Sleepy Joe Biden is now attacking Lindsey Graham saying some kind of rubbish about going down a road he won't recover from or some other commie rat bastard talking points.

Lindsey Graham is one of those Republicans Kevin is referring to who grew a set of balls. And it's pretty ironic that a pervert crook like biden is attacking him. Biden has no chance at being President. He's leading again in the polls, mostly because the rest of the commie rat bastards have turned the crazy dial up to 11, but he has no chance. Our President has covered that crooked old criminal with so much slime he will never poke his head up.

This is the genius of Donald Trump. The commie left has used lies and fake narratives and their partners in crime in the news media to try to taint our President, to very little avail it is appearing, but they made the new rules.

So President Trump has now given biden a mantle of corruption that he can't possibly explain. This will be apparent if he becomes the dem/commie candidate. Right now the media and his rat bastard party are defending him. The President has laid the foundation now. If he runs against biden, he will light him on fire. The American people will hear every accusation over and over. Just like he did with crooked Hillary. He is so far ahead of these morons they don't stand a chance.

And the funniest part of all to me is they aren't even smart enough to see it. These dipshits still believe they are running the show but all they are doing is digging the hole deeper.

We will win in the end because our enemy is too stupid to know they are being set up for destruction. And it's going to be so much fun.

  50. I've been down in LA this week. Got out a little bit. The homeless problem can't be described. Mobs of drug addicts and mentally ill people. Was down in Santa Monica, home to multi million dollar homes, a once beautiful shopping district called the Prmomanade, and thousands of happy tourists having to step over drugged out homeless people sleeping any and everywhere they feel like. Most stores don't have bathrooms because the homeless mobs take them over. Crazy people draped in blankets walking down the street screaming at the top of their lungs. Horrible. And what is the response from this crazy state? Let's give them more money and more food stamps and let them do whatever the hell they want.

Up where i live, in Kern County, often considered the wild west of California they see things a little differently. At least some do. Sheriff Donny Youngblood, Sheriff of Kern County suggests arresting them for vagrancy and drug possesion. He says whenever they round up a few of them there are always outstanding warrants on some of them. His theory is let's get them off the street and let them know there's a price to pay for preying on our society.

He has been villified and called heartless. I support him 100%.

There's an old saying. You want more of bad behavior, reward it. You want less of it, punish it. Put up big tents with porta johns and a kitchen serving cheap food. They want to be homeless, they can live there. They don't want to live there, take your chances on the street.

Build big shelters and bigger jails. Let them choose, one or the other. Or, in the most extreme choice, get a job. There's a crazy idea. But this is California, so....

House Democrat backs down from impeachment: 'I don't see the value of kicking him out of office'
    by Tim Pearce | November 25, 2019 07:59 PM

Democratic Rep. Brenda Lawrence of Michigan now favors censuring President Trump after backing impeachment proceedings over allegations that he withheld military aid from Ukraine for his personal benefit.

Lawrence appeared on the Michigan radio show No BS News Hour with host Charlie LeDuff on Sunday to discuss the impeachment process in the House. Lawrence told LeDuff, to his surprise, that she does not support removing the president from office and that she would ask her caucus to censure him instead.

"We are so close to an election. I will tell you, sitting here knowing how divided this country is, I don't see the value of taking him out of office," Lawrence said. "I do see the value of putting down a marker saying his behavior is not acceptable."

She continued, "I want to censure. I want it on the record that the House of Representatives did their job and they told this president and any president coming behind him that this is unacceptable behavior and, under our Constitution, we will not allow it."

Lawrence also said she would have a "discussion with the party and with the caucus" to censure Trump instead of impeaching him.

Her comments stand in contrast to her Oct. 4 interview with Sirius XM host Dean Obeidallah, during which she appeared to back impeaching Trump over the allegations.

"I feel strongly that for my legacy, for my time in history, sitting here at this table with an oath of office to protect this country, to protect the democracy of the United States of America, I cannot sit silent, that I must move forward with [impeachment] because this is egregious," Lawrence said.

Lawrence represents a heavily Democratic district that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton won with a roughly 60% margin in the 2016 presidential election. The district has not been represented by a Republican since 1948.

House Democrats launched impeachment proceedings against Trump after a CIA whistleblower filed a complaint alleging that the president leveraged United States military aid to pressure Ukraine into launching investigations into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, with the intent of harming Biden’s 2020 presidential run.

Reports have suggested that the anonymous whistleblower is 33-year-old CIA analyst Eric Ciaramella but have not yet been confirmed. Ciaramella was Ukraine director on the National Security Council during the end of the Obama administration and remained there during the early months of the Trump administration when he was briefly acting senior director for European and Russian affairs.

The Washington Examiner reported that Ciaramella is now a deputy national intelligence officer for Russia and Eurasia on the National Intelligence Council, reporting to the director of national intelligence.

Lawrence's office did not immediately respond to the Washington Examiner's request for comment.

  85. Well, how's this for ironic? We go through all this to move here to California so we could spend holidays with our family. So we're living up in a valley in the mountains. Just in time for Thanksgiving a huge snow moves into the high country. Now our valley is about 3,000 ft so we won't get much if any snow, it's just rain. But the pass we have to go through is about 5,000 ft. They're getting 1-3 feet there. The locals say that might be shut down. Some say the keep it clear. We have an AWD so if they clear it we might be good. We also have a 4WD Yukon but the gas mileage kills us driving to LA.

So we don't know if we'll be able to go or not. One little pass to cross, otherwise it's mostly driving through the desert.

These mountains are beautiful to look at, covered with snow. Until you have to cross one.

So I hope everybody has a great Thanksgiving, get's to see family, eat a lot and laugh a lot. I might. We're from Kansas after all. What's a foot or so of snow to a Kansan?

If I was there I'd sure come to the get together to meet Rose. But I don't even know if I can get out of this valley.

    So happy Thanksgiving friends.

  87. Well, that's true. If I wasn't wanting to go to LA for Thanksgiving I wouldn't mind. Just got our office set up so I'm sitting at my desk in front of a window with a view of snow capped mountains. Not bad at all. It's raining here, we have a little break with some sun but it's starting back up soon.

They're saying the pass is open if you have chains. Expecting much more snow tonight so it's not looking too promising.

  95. We made it to LA. The giant snowfall expected yesterday didn't amount to as much as all that. They plowed the pass and it was dry as a bone. We drove the big 4WD Yukon just in case, but it was clear. Today is another story, they're predicting 1-2 feet at the pass and it looks like it may happen.

So we left a day early but we're here. First Thanksgiving with our Grandson since he was a baby. Daughter is already cooking a wonderful meal. Everybody is getting up and around.

We're a small family, but small or large it's all good. I would love to be in the middle of a giant gathering like Kevin has, filled with inlaws and outlaws and everybody in between. But our little gathering will be great.

Happy Thanksgiving to everybody. I hope everybody has someone to celebrate with. And give thanks for our President Donald Trump today. He and us are under siege by a group of seditious hate filled commie rat bastards who would happily overthrow our government and replace it with bread lines and tyranny.

That's all the politics from me today. We don't talk politics down here. For good reason.

So best wishes to everybody on this day. I think about you all often while living in crazy land. I miss the real folks who make this country great.

Just wanted to touch base with y'all to throw out some options. We are staying at Homewood Suites off Wannamaker. The hotel has a lounge area and they have a social time with free beer, wine and coffee from 5 -7 with light snacks. We could also meet in the afternoon in the lounge area during the afternoon and I believe they have coffee all afternoon. We could meet on Friday afternoon at any restaurant of your choice. We will take off on Sunday so Sunday is out. I will check back later this evening but for the most part I will be out of pocket until then.

Please have a safe Thanksgiving and if you are out on the road please be careful.

4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."

They are openly putting the well being of illegal aliens ahead of hard working tax paying legal citizens; If this doesn't constitute treason nothing does and the use of public hangings or the firing squad would be justified in this instance!
If we don't stand up and put a stop to this lawlessness we can sit back and watch the collapse of our country, it's that simple!

    Matthew 24; 3-13

If I remember SSAH post this a Long time ago! It is worth repeating today...

Wish I could get out and enjoy it, hopefully maybe next week, depending on the so called Medical professionals.

  118. Thank you Kevin. I know people have family's to visit and it can be a very busy time of year. We spent some time in Liberty, KS today. My husband got in touch with a friend who I have known since 7th grade and asked her and her husband to surprise me with a visit. I was shopping for quilting fabric fabric and she walked in and asked if she could help me. It was a very nice surprise. Nothing beats spending time with old friends.

    Boy, is it windy outside!!!

  119. Oh one other thing. My husband has told me for years he would never move to Topeka. Well, I have been searching for homes in the Topeka area and I found two homes in the Lake Sherwood area so I took him for a surprise drive out in that area. He actually told me he could live in that area. He wants a home with at least an acre of land and he wants a BIG workshop. My brother told us to look out north of town but we ran out of time. On our way to Kansas City he said he liked the area outside of Lawrence. I am making a little progress. LOL. But then came the wind.......
