After a Campaign Comparing Trump to Nazis, Joe Biden Calls for Unity
Joe Biden, presumed the winner of the presidential election according to mainstream media networks, issued a call for “unity” Saturday evening after a bruising campaign in which he had compared President Donald Trump to Nazis, including Adolf Hitler.
Biden, who called his campaign a “battle for the soul of our nation,” launched his campaign in April 29 with the false claim that Trump had referred to neo-Nazis as “very fine people.” (Trump in fact said that they should be “condemned totally.”)
When confronted with that fact, Biden continued to insist on his version of events, despite evidence to the contrary.
Joel B. PollakBiden referred to Trump and his supporters as racists, saying 10 to 15 percent of Americans were “not very good people.”
In the last weeks of his campaign, Biden compared Trump to Nazi propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels, a vicious antisemite who was one of Hitler’s most trusted aides. In late October, his campaign released a video recorded by the Black Eyed Peas that compared Trump to Hitler himself, and implied that his supporters were like Germans who saluted the Nazi regime.
“It’s time to put away the harsh rhetoric, see each other again, listen to each other again. And to make progress, we have to stop treating our opponents as our enemies. They are not our enemies. They are Americans,” Biden said on Saturday.
Some of his supporters — attacking effigies of President Trump — seem not to have heeded that message.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) called the Democrat Party “incompetent” for not placing progressives in top positions, warning former Vice President Joe Biden that if he does not select far-left people for top positions, the Democrats will lose big in the 2022 midterm elections.
Ocasio-Cortez told the New York Times that she sharply rejected the notion that progressive messaging around the Green New Deal and the Black Lives Matter movement led to the loss of congressional seats this election cycle.
The real problem is that she said Democrats could not run campaigns.
“There’s a reason Barack Obama built an entire national campaign apparatus outside of the Democratic National Committee,” she told the Times. “And there’s a reason that, when he didn’t activate or continue that, we lost House majorities. Because the party — in and of itself — does not have the core competencies, and no amount of money is going to fix that.”
In a Sunday interview on CNN’s State of the Union, Ocasio-Cortez said that no Democrats within her party campaigned on “socialism or defunding the police in this general election.”
Ocasio-Cortez, who defeated incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY) in the 2018 midterm elections and won re-election in her district by more than 50 points, endorsed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) over former Vice President Joe Biden in the Democrat presidential primary.

Protection from criminals is not the reason the 2nd Amendment was included in a Bill of Rights that outlines the rights all people are born with. Nor is hunting. The Founding Fathers sought to ensure there was no mistaking that Americans would always have the ability to defend themselves from a tyrannical government and that no laws could be passed that "infringed" upon that right.
ReplyDeleteBesides, in a free society, a business should be able to engage in a voluntary transaction or contract, or not, as the owner sees fit, just as the customer has the ability to choose whether to purchase a good or service from a particular business. If a business wants to refuse service to a person wielding a gun, good for it.
Likewise, if a business wants to encourage exercising existing rights, the business should have that right as well.
Years ago, in ruling in Maryland, a Federal judge struck down a State requirement that individuals prove they have a "good and substantial reason" for seeking a handgun carry permit. Judge Benson Everett Legg ruled: "A citizen may not be required to offer a 'good and substantial reason' why he should be permitted to exercise his rights. The right's existence is all the reason he needs."
I shouldn't need any reason whatsoever for supporting the 2nd Amendment. Bearing arms is my right. Further, I have had enough of the politics of "gun control" — a heinous term that purports to make it ok to limit my right to bear arms. Why not call it "gun freedom?" The gun grabbers give themselves away.

The very idea that the elected class would think terrorists are more deserving of possessing weapons than law-abiding American citizens is not just downright weird; it's criminal.
The right to own a weapon is a natural right. That right is codified in the 2nd Amendment which is only 27 words long, is written quite clearly and has stood (somewhat) for almost 223 years. If Leftists consider abortion "rights" as "settled" and established law — a law that appears nowhere in the Constitution — then it's time the gun grabbers accepted The Bill of Rights as established law and left it alone.

Technology is being developed to allow agents to funnel large crowds of people through mobile command centers so they can be questioned while computers monitor their physiology as they respond.

Trump attorney Sidney Powell said a member of President-elect Joe Biden’s transition team, Peter Neffenger, is also a member of the board of directors for a company that committed election fraud that could cause the results of the 2020 election to be overturned.
“He is president and on the board of directors of Smartmatic, and it just so happens he's on Mr. Biden’s presidential transition team that’s going to be nonexistent, because we’re fixing to overturn the results of the election in multiple states,” said Powell during an appearance on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo. “President Trump won not just hundreds of thousands of votes but by millions of votes that were shifted by this software that was designed expressly for that purpose."
Powell said Neffenger had knowledge that the software provided by Smartmatic was designed to rig elections.
“We have sworn witness testimony of why the software was designed, it was designed to rig elections,” Powell said. “He was fully briefed on it, he saw it happen in other countries, it was exported internationally for profit by the people that are behind Smartmatic and Dominion.”
“They did this on purpose, it was calculated, they’ve done it before,” Powell continued. “We have evidence from 2016 in California. We have so much evidence I feel like it’s coming in through a firehose.”
Neffenger, a retired U.S. Coast Guard admiral, joined Biden’s Agency Review team last week under the Department of Homeland Security team. Review teams help incoming presidents and vice presidents understand agency operations to ensure a smooth transition of power. He is listed on Smartmatic’s website as the chairman of the board of directors.
The comments come a day after Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani mentioned the company’s election involvement in a tweet.
“Did you know a foreign company, DOMINION, was counting our vote in Michigan, Arizona, and Georgia and other states,” Giuliani said on Twitter. “But it was a front for SMARTMATIC, who was really doing the computing.”
“Look up SMARTMATIC and tweet me what you think,” Giuliani continued. “It will all come out.”
The New York Times reported Saturday that Smartmatic’s vote-counting software was “manipulated to report a skewed tally” in Venezuela’s election, but the company said the result was an anomaly caused by a lack of election monitors.
Dominion has also denied claims its software was manipulated, citing a statement by the Department of Homeland Security that said there was “no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.” Instead, a group of officials working with the department said the election was “the most secure in American history.”
