Just a short follow up

The picture has nothing to do with my blog today, it's just funny.

So I just wanted to say don't be surprised if we seem to lose this culture war. If the Marxist godless left seems to win the fight for the soul of America. If more and more people decide the communist ideals held by the left are the way to go. If we see our civil society decline into darkness, just as the godless left has been trying to accomplish for some 60 years now. If they seem to be winning and we seem to be losing.

You may want to ask God, why would you let this happen? Why would you allow the greatest society in the history of the world, a country founded on a belief in You fall into this horror of godless communism?

Well, that's a valid question. And I don't pretend to have the answers. But I do know this. Whatever happens to us is in the hands of God. And whatever happens is part of his great plan. We are told in the bible that the world will decline until Jesus returns. And that's exactly what is happening. It may very well be that things will get much worse.

But the good news is this. Things will get much much better. Jesus will return and redeem his faithful. He will take us home to be with him while this world goes through seven years of tribulation and God's wrath being poured out on it. In the end, all those who have not been redeemed will stand before him and give an account for what they have done. They will have to explain why they murdered 60 million unborn babies he created. Why they destroyed a society that he showed his favor to. Why they persecuted and hounded his people, the Jews. Why they robbed from us to reward those who didn't contribute to our society.

But more than that, why they cursed His name and drove Him from the public square and from our society. Why they led people by the millions to turn to godless communism, rejecting God. Why they laughed and mocked His followers and persecuted us. And their only hope will be to fall to their knees and weep when they face their final judge. But it will be too late then. The time will have passed. And they will regret for all time rejecting the free offer of salvation He offered them time and time again. And it will break God's heart but God is just and he will do what he promised he would do.

Sorry if that get's a little too theological and not political which is what we normally do here. But I wanted to get that off my chest.

What I want you to do is take comfort that God is in control, even when nothing makes sense. So turn your eyes to Him and trust Him. Keep fighting, I am going to. But also know that however it turns out God is in control.

And pray for the godless left. Pray they find God and turn from their evil ways. God loves them too, even though they hate him. And it is his wish they too turn to him. Many won't but some will.

This simple passage so often heard says it all:

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

  5. I joined the United States Army well over 50 years ago!! I was prepared to fight and to die if necessary. That’s never changed! As we say, I may not be as lean nor as mean as I once was! I’ll ALWAYS be a Soldier and always stand true to the oath I voluntarily took! I was an expert rifleman then and am still an some what good with the weapons I currently own and that I’ll NEVER voluntarily turn in or let anyone take. I’m “locked and loaded” and will gladly take up arms to defend what millions have died for! There are literally millions of us vets that are armed, experts with their weapons, and we’ll show up wherever and whenever we’re needed to ensure our constitution is defended and our way of life preserved! The American hunters alone are the largest armed force in the world!! We will defend our country’s constitution and our legally elected President!! Make no mistake, we are serious, we can defend this country, and if needed we WILL defend the country, the President, and the MOST important document in the world, our constitution!! MAGA President Trump we got your back.. IN my case I am Rusty but not dead.

  14. FIVE MORE DAYS!
    The Boss!!
In just five more days 800,000 “non-essential” government workers can be legally furloughed (i.e. let go – forever). It is technically called a RIF – reduction in force. All of which begs the questions if they are non-essential why were they employed in the first place, and why have the American taxpayers been paying people who were not needed all these many years?
The truth is that many of these non-essential employees are SES members (Senior Executive Services), which are more colloquially known as members of the Deep State or Shadow Government. SES members cannot be fired, but they can be subjected to a RIF.
Trump has set a trap for the Democrats and they have walked headlong into it. If the Dems do not capitulate in the next 5 days, our government will be much more efficient and the taxpayers will no longer be financing 800,000 people who are not needed. The Dems will be forced to either fold or negotiate or else they will lose their grip on the Deep State. So if you have wondered why Trump has not already used his Executive Power to label the border crisis a National emergency, there you have it.
If I were to bet, my bet would be on the Dems folding before the 5 days expires. But then, Pelosi and Schumer are not very bright, so I wouldn’t put much money on it. If they fold, Pelosi and Schumer will be crippled going forward, but the Deep State will retain its grip on Washington. Either way Trump gains a win – he beats Pelosi and Schumer or he hamstrings the Deep State and saves taxpayers a lot of money in the process. (Note: And there are those who still think Trump is not very bright – think again.)

    1. Yes, great to see those lazy ass government workers get kicked to the curb. But who will send Kansas subsidies for its farmers, its own federal workers, meat inspectors etc. So what to expect ? Tainted meat left uninspected will start a wave of meat borne illnesses like E. coli from ground beef. Not only will you feel the pain from this, but a very big sector of the Kansas economy will suffer. There are a lot of other illnesses that you will start to see, bovine spongiform encephalitis, which can be fatal, especially for the elderly or immune compromised, two groups likely heavily represented in this blog. Fly much ? Good luck with that. TSA workers are starting to leave their jobs because... hey, they have bills, families to feed, mortgages to pay.... watch your plane blow up over god knows where.

But if that's not bad enough.... look at what Trump has created - young people filled with hate. This video is tough to watch. I don't know what sort of parents posters here had, but mine made sure I understood you respect your elders. And to think this man was a VIETNAM VET. The mocking is disgusting. Welcome to Trump world.

  18. Interesting take on the state of the union by NEWSWEEK LOL

The national polls may show more people blaming Trump for the shutdown than the Democrats. That’s probably true as he all but promised to own it if it happened. But in regular America, the places where Trump voters live and work and raise their children, the fact that life goes on while the government is shut down may reinforce their intuitive sense that too much of government doesn’t do anything important.

What Trump has figured out, and Pelosi apparently hasn’t, is the people most inconvenienced by it—in the short run at least—are members of the Democrats’ electoral constituency. Most federal workers and most big cities—where the shutdown has the greatest impact—vote Democrat. By refusing to negotiate with Trump, Pelosi is hurting her base, the very people who did so much to help put her party back in power in the House. https://www.newsweek.com/nancy-pelosis-big-shutdown-mistake-opinion-1297136

I am also thankful that on this blog I can say what I want without having my comments pulled and warnings sent to me like what happened on the liberal rag Cj.

We all know that there are liberals from Cj who come and read these blogs that Kevin and Safe post. Too bad they are too chicken shit to post anything.

  26. There could be one very good reason why President Trump is holding off on declaring a national emergency with the border wall, just my thoughts though but I feel he's strategically getting his legal ducks in a row and if this time the dummycrats do not negotiate, then it's going to be totally on them (not that it hasn't been all along). If they say no this time, it will give him what he needs to declare a national emergency and get the Military to build the wall.

Like I said, just my thoughts... I feel that he's been studiously researching all avenues to clear the way to bring in the military to build the wall so that the dummycrats can do absolutely nothing to block it.
