So this is civility?

"You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about," Clinton said in an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour. "That's why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that's when civility can start again. But until then, the only thing that the Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength."
-- Hillary Clinton Oct 2018

Evidently the dems idea of civility and the rest of the world differs somewhat.

They constantly whine and cry about Trump's divisive rhetoric yet they remain silent when their on party leaders engage in it in ways Trump's never dreamed of.

Exhibit A:

Exhibit B:

I'm not even going to address the comments of the newly elected Muslim piece of trash the people of Michigan so stupidly elected.

I will however address the comments from one of the most ignorant people ever elected to congress, Hank Johnson.

And I'll do so in his own ignorant words.

Exhibit A:

I'm not sure which is worse.

The ignorant sons of bitches who are supposedly running this country or the ignorant sons of bitches who keep electing them.

But that's the world we live in.

So be it...

Despair Not! For the Dates Reveal the Truth in the Russian Collusion Fairytale

It’s the beginning of the end! The walls are closing in on this isolated president! We could be witnessing a TURNING POINT in our democracy – the end of the Trump presidency! If you’re starting to feel browbeaten by every CNN and MSNBC panel that claims that this time they really, truly mean it and Trump is “Outta here,” take a breath. The louder the tinfoil hat collusion posse is yelling, the better the situation looks for the champ in the Oval Office.

What’s that, you say? Former Trump attorney Michael Cohen’s cell phone number pinged off a tower in Prague in 2016? And it’s being reported by McClatchy DC? Oh, boy! We’re going to have fun picking this one apart! 😂🍺

President Trump will visit the southern border Thursday to highlight national security concerns amid the partial government shutdown.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced the trip in a tweet, saying Mr. Trump will “meet with those on the frontlines of the national security and humanitarian crisis. More details will be announced soon.”

Mr. Trump and Capitol Hill Democrats remained locked in standoff over his demand for $5 billion for border security, including a barrier or wall on the southern border.

He said that he is considering declaring a national emergency to fund border barriers.

Trump to address nation Tuesday about national security crisis on border

    Print
    By S.A. Miller - The Washington Times - Updated: 2:15 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019
President Trump has announced that he will address the nation Tuesday about the national security crisis on the border.

The 9 p.m. address from the Oval Office will add the trapping of the presidency as Mr. Trump makes his case for more border security spending that is the crux of a government-shutdown standoff with Democrats.

“I am pleased to inform you that I will Address the Nation on the Humanitarian and National Security crisis on our Southern Border,” Mr. Trump tweeted Monday.

Earlier, the White House said Mr. Trump would visit the U.S.-Mexico border Thursday to highlight the national security emergency that he says he wants to fix with a wall or barrier on the border.

Mr. Trump and Capitol Hill Democrats remained locked in a standoff over his demand for more than $5 billion for border security, including a barrier or wall that was one of his top campaign promises.

He also has said that he is considering declaring a national emergency to fund border barriers.

The standoff over border security spending so far has kept the government partially shuttered for 17 days.

The president had not backed off the $5 billion figure and Democrats remained determined to deny funds for a “border wall.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said a border wall is “immoral.” Senate Democrat leader Charles E. Schumer said the shutdown was a “temper tantrum” by Mr. Trump over not getting his way.

Mr. Trump recently accepted the need for a steel bollard-style fence instead of a concrete wall, which he promised during the 2016 campaign.

The change prompted White House negotiator to up the requested border security funding from $5.6 billion to $5.7 billion.

Mr. Trump has vacillated on at the composition of the border barriers he wants to build. However, he recently acknowledged that the Department of Homeland Security does not want a solid, concrete wall on most parts of the border.

Hell, every network and cable news show will have every single democrat on to attack the president.

They'll go into great detail of how he's lying.

They'll repeatedly call him a racist.

They'll go on and on making the claim that he's mentally unstable.

    They'll call him a fraud.

They'll rerun the claim that he stole the election from them.

They'll bring up the tired and worn out Russia investigation.

Then they'll call up every Hollywood hater they can find to repeat the process.

And it'll go on 24/7 for at least the next week.

You know, because of their new found civility...

  28. The democrat/communists have had the House for a week and already they've introduced two bills for impeaching the duly elected President, basically on grounds that he hurt their poor little sensitive feelings. Not exactly the grounds defined in the constitution for impeachment, but these are democrat/communists. The constitution is not a document many of them are familiar with, also they aren't very bright as a rule.

Also, they are already debating a 70% tax rate for the top earners. This would in effect kill our economic growth we have seen since our President got elected, destroy the stock market, and eliminate millions of jobs. Exactly what the democrat/communists would love to see.

Of course, none of this will get past the Senate so it's pretty symbolic, but it does symbolize what the democrat/communist party is hoping to achieve.

    2. Wow.. hoping for a little old lady to kick the bucket. Keep it classy. I wouldn't assume the court will do the bidding. Read Slate for instance -

"But that brings us once more to the greatest and least appreciated place at which President Donald Trump is proving to be the losing-est loser of all: the courts. Because they happen so frequently, it’s almost impossible to keep track of all the massive and consequential rulings against this president and his administration that are logged every week and rarely viewed in the aggregate. But let’s try: Late Monday night, a federal judge issued a temporary restraining order blocking the president’s Nov. 9 rule that barred migrants from applying for asylum unless they made the request at a legal checkpoint. The judge’s order applies nationally. Last Friday’s decision—by a Trump-appointed judge—to side with CNN against the White House in a dispute about revoked press credentials is only the most recent iteration of a near-constant drip-drip of legal losses. Even with a bench now containing almost 1 in 6 Trump appointed judges (and these are not your President Bush–edition conservative judges), Trump mainly loses, and then loses some more." Nov 20/18.

No, I don't think democrats have any reason to "work with the president". Are you reading, watching or listening to any legitimate media sources ? His own cabinet is having a helluva hard time "working" with this clown-hence the reason for the astounding turnover. Consider comments like those of General McChrystal

" Retired four-star Gen. Stanley McChrystal did not mince words about President Donald Trump in a wide-ranging interview with ABC's "This Week," saying the president is dishonest and immoral and adding that he could not work for Trump.

“I don’t think he tells the truth,” McChrystal told ABC's Martha Raddatz who questioned the general on whether he feels Trump is a liar.

When asked if Trump is immoral, McChrystal said: "I think he is."

Polling does not favor the Trump position on the wall. DHS refutes his bizarre claim that 10 terrorists sneak across the border daily along with 100 criminals. Huckabee-Sanders tried to regurgitate that crap in an interview with Fox's Chris Wallace who proceeded to destroy her. Yeah, THAT Fox.

Polls are looking worse and worse for repubs. Keep living your fantasy.

    3. Mousy, when did any of us wish for something bad to happen to Ginsburg? She should probably step down, but instead will likely do what her friend, Scalia, did and hold out until the end.

The hateful "I wish X would die" rhetoric mostly emanates from the port side of the ship.

And, no, I don't think terrorists come over the southern border. Criminals, however, often do.

  32. I love the videos up top talking about Hank Johnson! And he is calling Trump supporters poorly educated while fretting that Guam might TIP OVER if it gets too many people on one side of it!! I applaud Admiral Willard for not laughing in Johnson's face and calling him out for what a stupid idiot he is, when he was being questioned about it, "I don't anticipate that", he said while Johnson was asking about Guam tipping over, in all seriousness!
Then we have the new congresswoman, as you call her Safe, Alexandria Occasional -Cortez, and her 70% tax! We, and especially the Republicans should not laugh it off without having real simple, smart responses to this idea, because what is going to happen is, the Fake News, being what it is will start pushing this agenda just to get the real "uneducated" ones that follow them, to get on board with this idea. If so, the Republicans, doing what they usually do, will not know how to respond to this correctly, and will come off looking like fools as they try to fight this with numbers, and not emotion! You may have heard her say, that those who are speaking out against her are simply trying to point out what she says wrong rather than what is in her opinion "right"! Using "emotion" over "facts" will win an argument every time in the Liberal World! And knowing what dumbass'es Republicans can be when it comes to a war of words in politics, it would not be a good look no matter how factual they are!
I saw on Fox comments about our old "sleepy eyed" Chuck Todd from "Meet the Press" a week ago. He devoted the whole show to "Climate Change". Said it was a done deal. All of science had concurred that it was real and they would basically no longer be putting "deniers" on the show. The show was basically a campaign show for Michael Blumberg who will be running for President with his major campaign issue being Climate Change. What a joke for a "news" show!
    Man, the shit never ends!
