President Trump puts the NFL on notice...

"Wouldn't you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, get that son of a bitch off the field right now! He's fired! He's fired!!!"  President Trump

Trump gets it.

He understands all too well what's at play here.

He understands that this is yet another attempt by the America hating left to weaken and undermine our country and destroy our culture.

And he's not gonna put up with it.

As usual, his comments were straight forward, to the point and timely.

The response from the America hating left?

Once again they went into full meltdown mode.

Social media blew up.

Left-wing talking heads slobbered all over themselves in (FAKE) righteous indignation.

And NFL commissioner Roger Goodell who had the power and authority to put a stop to this whole thing last year when it all started but chose not to put out a statement.

"The NFL and our players are at our best when we help create a sense of unity in our country and our culture."

"Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players, and a failure to understand the overwhelming force for good our clubs and players represent in our communities."   NFL commissioner Roger Goodell

Seriously, that's what he said.

A sense of unity and a lack of respect?

You mean the way you allow your employees to spit in the face of millions of Americans who just want to watch a friggin football game without having a bunch of left-wing crap shoved down their throats?

And you want to talk about a failure to understand?

I don't know whether you're just too much of a coward to put a stop to it or you're a true believer and full blown participant in helping to destroy yet another American institution.

I'll let this guy explain it to you.

Roger, you're going to do what you're going to do.

Nothing I can do about that.

What I can and will do is join the millions of my fellow Americans and boycott your ass.

Here's the deal, Roger.

In order to continue living you privileged life, you need us.

In order to continue paying for the mulit-million dollar contracts your America hating employees demand, you need us.

In order to attract and retain investors and advertisers, you need us.

We can easily find other ways to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Much like Barack Hussein Obama's legacy of overseeing the demise of the once proud democrat party you'll always be remembered for destroying one of the greatest American institutions there ever was.

One more thing before I get out of here, Roger.

In the last year the left, the Trump hating media, the Trump hating democrats, the Trump hating republicans, Hollywood actors and actresses, college professors and assorted snowflakes, Black Lives Matter and Antifa terrorist groups, and Hillary Clinton have all tried taking us on and they've all failed miserably.

And you think you're going to win this one?

Good luck with that.

You're gonna need it...

Here is a perfect example: Democrats are now falling for all NFL players to kneel during the national anthem.

Yep, that’s right. They are calling for an all out disrespectful act from sport’s players, which is a slap in the face to every single man and woman who have fought for this country.

Legally, they can do what they want. It is covered under their 1st amendment right. However, they are not protected from sitting the bench, being fired, or all their fans completely boycotting the lunacy. Sports are supposed to be fun. Why bring politics into the mix? Not a smart move. What a bunch of lead fools.

All of this is because Trump said that he wishes NFL owners would fire players who try to pull that trash. Trump said, “Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a b—- off the field right now,'” he continued, “‘He is fired.'”

Trump added, “When people like yourselves turn on television and you see those people taking the knee when they are playing our great national anthem – the only thing you could do better is if you see it, even if it’s one player, leave the stadium,” he concluded, “I guarantee things will stop.”

    I completely agree! Don’t you??

Yep...if they goad the teams into doing it, it's definitely no more NFL for me. Not even the Chiefs. Anyone at work or anywhere else starts talking NFL, I will politely excuse myself from the conversation by saying "Sorry, I don't wish to discuss a bunch of whiny-ass millionaires who are disrespecting our flag, our military, our country, and our citizens".

  6. The 1st Amendment applies to ONLY the "government" not having a right to restrict free speech. It does NOT apply to private businesses, who have every right to set a code of conduct, and fire anyone who violates it.

It is a restriction on "government oppression", and nothing else. Liberals have it all backwards.

They want to restrict God from schools and government places, and have absolutely NO right to do so. Then, they claim 1st Amendment "rights" within private businesses (like the NFL), where they ALSO have no "right" to do so.

The NFL and owners who allow this disrespect can, therefore, only be seen as condoning and encouraging it, themselves, since they actually DO have every "right" to NOT allow it!

    So...FU NFL!😠

  7. Actually cats, the fight's not necessarily about football per say.

To me anyway, it's about the left trying to destroy everything good about this country.

  8. Yes I said "fighting over football" because imho that's what it is...the NFL has been losing fans and money for some time over this kneeling crap because many of their fans don't like it and because they don't like politics in their sports be it players or politicians of any stripe.
In addition, it's nothing but a game of 3-card Monte...Trump is having twitter fights with Gaddell etc while Rome is burning is my point.

  11. Goodell, in 2015 voluntarily gave up the NFL's tax-exempt status which had stood for some 70 years. They never should have had it in the first place. But: they still have their anti-trust exemption...why not yank that too? On grounds that they are, politically now, part of the democratic machine? I am sure that all those astute legal minds could come up with the bill to do so. Believe Chaffetz tried that in 2015 but not on those grounds.
The beauty of ethical capitalism vs crony corporatism is this: in the end, the people and their money will decide and things ain't lookin' good for big money sports these days...
Donald Trump should be looking at who he's surrounding himself with and stopping this refugee importation insanity rather than twitter fights of this nature because if the backdoor end runs around our sovereignty continue, that flag and what it stands for will be nothing but a memory in a crazy old cat lady's journal. My message applies to Congress as well, not just on refugees but every damn other example of corruption and lawbreaking that is continuing unabated...

  18. My friends, unless you've been under a rock for the past six months, you're aware that Alabama is once again the site of a civil war. This time it is a fight for the soul of the Republican Party, and it is being played out in the run-off primary election between conservative jurist Roy Moore and scandal-plagued Washington lobbyist Luther Strange.

It's a war between the corrupt old guard of the party controlled by Mitch McConnell and his ilk, and the conservative voters who SHOULD be in control of the party.

The voters who time after time vote for politicians who campaign as conservatives, then govern as gutless liberals, breaking every promise they ever made, offering one excuse after another for why they didn't do what they said they would, whether that is repeal Obamacare, build the Wall, or defund Planned Parenthood. I know I said I would stay out of this because I can't vote there, but at least Trump has come out and said he would support Moore if he wins, that's good for me.

In Judge Roy Moore, those conservative voters finally have a candidate who they know won't compromise his values to save his job, because he has already twice lost his job for refusing to compromise his values.

  20. Sports to me has always been a fun distraction to get away from the more serious issues that plague us.
Politicizing sports only isolates the fans that fund them.
Not the best way to make money...

That being said, I also have very little respect for athletes or celebs that merely pay lipservice to some fake noble cause, and never pay any dues to the real issue on the street.
And as Rose points out, never making any attempt to help the real black on black violence taking place in Chicago or Detroit.
It's not bringing awareness to a fake issue, it instead detracts from solutions by lying about causation.
    Pretty simple imho...

What makes me the most anxious, is the fact that the left muddies the waters, and perhaps dangerously ignores the snakes that enter.

They can applaud faux nobility and solidarity on some ball field, but your whole life will turned upside down if NK launches on American soil.
Because meanwhile, while you watch a silly game and clamour for all athletes to band together for the injustices blacks do unto each other, NK prepares to launch. Their(NK) exact wording is "inevitable".

And yet the left squawks about presidential words. Demands no American solidarity or sovereignty, or even safety in light of all of this.
Faux and insincere considerations will likely lead to your game being played in fallout.
And oh my, the very same folks you protest for and yet refuse to help in those very poor and violent cities? Yes, they will suffer greatly.
But hey, at least you can take a knee when the ICBM's you chose to ignore are inbound.
And I bet their solidarity lasts only a millisecond when the fight for survival begins.
And that my friends, won't be a game.

  23. People are STILL citing "1st Amendment rights", in that they are so ignorant of the Constitution that they don'r realize that the entire Constitution is ONLY constraints on the federal government, and the 1st Amendment does NOT apply to private businesses. The NFL could demand the players show respect, or get canned.

There are absolutely NO "1st Amendment" considerations in this matter.

The left knows this, but is banking on the ignorance of millions of Americans of the Constitution, to keep pushing that BS.

The NFL and owners, by endorsing this "solidarity" against America, has just shoved a collective giant one-finger salute to millions of Americans, and America, itself.

    Well...NFL...(pardon my language)...FUCK YOU!!😬

    ReplyDelete
  24. It's the blind leading the blind. America is a strange country. Big mass of relatively uninformed, uneducated people who are easily persuaded to almost anything.

Ever wonder how Adolf Hitler persuaded millions of Germans to go along with world domination and the murder of six million Jews? Who in their rational mind would think any of that was right? The same basic people who are today in America persuaded President Donald Trump is Hitler himself. Who believe we are all fascists and white supremacists. Who believe themselves to be the "resistance" to something they don't even understand.

So is it a surprise that there are people who think this is a first amendment issue? No. Are there people who think refusing service to President Donald Trump supporters in a restaurant is a wonderful idea but have a meltdown when a baker doesn't want to bake a cake celebrating sexual perverts? Of course.

When Tim Tebow took a knee to honor God the left went crazy. The NFL pretty much ran him out. We heard that was no place for personal expression of faith. Now the exact same people are hailing a bunch of anti-American hate filled commies as heroes for this nonsense.

I guess the NFL has drawn a line in the sand. I guess they can stand to lose a few million viewers. That's a pretty good position for a business to be in, if indeed that is the case. There will still be plenty of people who will watch. Who consider them showing disrespect to our flag, our veterans and our country to be secondary to a football game.

By the way, if you didn't know. Sunday, Sept 24 was Gold Star Mother's Day. The day we honor those mothers who lost a child in the ultimate sacrifice fighting for our freedom.

And those cretins who took a knee during the flag presentation were telling those mothers exactly how they felt about them. Mothers whose sons died to defend the freedom of a bunch of mouth breathing hate filled thugs to dishonor their country on a national stage. Bit of a paradox, no?

  26. The great Kurt Schlichter has this to say today about the current state of what passes for Conservative today:

"Conservatism has become a racket, and everything happening now is a result of its members hoping to wait out Trump and the demand for change he represents. Maybe if they do nothing, but say all the right things, we normals will get tired and go back to our jobs and keep providing those votes and renting those cruise cabins. But that’s not happening. We aren’t going away; business as usual is over. We aren’t just giving up, tossing away our country, and submitting to the ruling caste. We were nice with the Tea Party. Trump’s not as nice. What’s coming after is going to be much, much less nice.

What’s coming after is militant normalacy, the not-so-polite demand that the lackwits and failures who style themselves as our betters stop dumping on us normal Americans who work hard and play by the rules (Gosh that sounds familiar, like it used to be a winning electoral recipe, if only I could remember where I heard it before).

Who are the normals? The Americans who built this country, and defended it. When you eat, it’s because a normal grew the food and another normal trucked it to you. When you aren’t murdered in the street or don’t speak German, it’s because a normal with a gun made those things not happen. We normals don’t want to rule over others. We don’t obsess about how you live your life, but also we don’t want to be compelled to signal our approval or pick up the tab.

"We’ll fight this fight ourselves, thanks. Sometimes we’ll fight it by rediscovering the joy of a late evening without hack TV comics lecturing us about health care (Hey, Jimmy Kimmel had a sick son, and that unusual and unique experience means he has unusual and unique insights!). Sometimes we’ll hit the remote and spend our Sunday not watching future vegetables hating on our country when they aren’t smashing into each other. Sometimes we’ll mock these idiots mercilessly. We may even launch a Conservative Insurgency. And if they keep pushing, getting violent and trying to strip us of our sacred rights, we might get even more frisky, and then it’ll get ugly.

  32. What is wrong with this story????

Two dead in Sunday incident at S.W. 8th and Polk; man booked in connection with murder

Campillo-Echevarria killed Pedro Machado, 34, who had also left Cuba in the boatlift, in April 1981 in Topeka. Police said a long-standing feud between the two ended when he shot Machado twice with a pistol in the 1500 block of S. Kansas Avenue.

Campillo-Echevarria was sentenced to life imprisonment for first-degree murder, and remained in prison until he was paroled in 2000.

He was returned to prison for a parole violation and additional criminal convictions — including two counts of aggravated assault — after a 2004 incident in which he drove his vehicle into a southeast Topeka apartment while attempting to hide from police.

Campillo-Echevarria was then paroled on Dec. 24, 2014, according to Kansas Department of Corrections records.

Sunday evening’s slayings left Topeka inching closer to its record for the number of homicides in a single year.

The deaths brought the city’s 2017 homicide count to 21, with more than three months remaining in the year.

The city’s all-time record of 28 homicides was set in 1994 and tied last year.

Personnel from the Topeka police and fire departments, along with the Kansas Highway Patrol, responded about 6:15 p.m. Sunday to the Capitol Corner Apartments building after receiving a report of a stabbing and fire.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. A male victim died a short time later after being taken by American Medical Response ambulance to a Topeka hospital.

Campillo-Echevarria, whose address was listed by jail officials as being at the same apartment complex where the incident occurred, was located on foot in the area and was transported to the Law Enforcement Center, where he was questioned. He was then booked into jail.

The double-homicide marks at least the third time in 2017 that Topeka has seen multiple slayings in the same incident. In two other cases, three people were killed in incidents in North Topeka and in southwest Topeka.

I'm really getting tired of that word.

What's "divisive" is a bunch of godless left wing commies insulting the United States of America by refusing to show respect to our national symbol and our national anthem. That's the very definition of divisive. Saying to the majority of America fuck you and everything you stand for is pretty damn divisive.

Our President calling them out for the seditious America hating assholes they are is called unifying. He's giving all of us everyday working stiffs a voice we don't have. He hasn't said a single thing most of us don't agree with wholeheartedly. And most of us would say a lot more if we had the microphone.

This President was elected because the pond scum in Washington DC has completely ignored the average working guy for years. And they better figure out we aren't going to be ignored any longer. Next, the NFL will have even fewer viewers than this week. By a large amount. And more boos at the games. And smaller attendance.

Next, the owners and the TV networks, who will lose hundreds of millions in revenue will have a change of heart and try to find some way to salvage this disaster they allowed to happen.

Next it will get worse before it gets better. More money lost. Sponsors pulling out. Fans walking away.

Then, the plantation owners will break out the whips and get their trained monkey back on the organ grinders. When this thing starts costing them real money and they realize it's not going to end well, things will change. I don't know what they'll do, but it wouldn't surprise me if they just stop the National Anthem and presenting the flag. And that will go over like a turd in a punch bowl.

The commie news networks will try to cover it all up and pretend everything is great, everybody supports the godless knee planters. But the owners start losing money and everything changes.

There is no happy ending for the godless left on this one. We will crush them like the worthless cockroaches they are.

At least that's how I hope it goes. We shall see.

  54. And as for the obamacare repeal bill, I don't mind a bit that it didn't go anywhere. It was a pasty lukewarm small modification of a piece of shit legislation anyway. But it was a start....

So now just let it go. It's falling apart daily. Imagine by this time next year, when more exchanges collapse, more people are losing their plans, people are paying double what they were with $12,000 deductibles. By another year they will have felt the impact. More jobs lost or cut to part time. It will only get worse, friends.

And the Republicans can say the same thing over and over. "We tried to fix it but the democrats wouldn't support it. Not a single one". Blame them for everything. Remind the voters the democrats gave them this thing without a single Republican vote.

And by 2020 Americans will be begging for this thing to go away. And all the democrats will have done is make it worse.

We win in the end, one way or another.

  55. On Tuesday, DirectTV offered subscribers a refund of their 300-dollar NFL season package with no questions asked following the kneeling controversy. Many individuals got their money back.

    But it didn’t stopped there.

The Palmetto Alehouse in South Carolina has chosen to stop showing NFL games on Sunday. The restaurant is sending a message to the NFL: They need us, but we don’t need them. I totally understand the feeling. People should be angry. Enough is enough. The problem here is the NFL just keeps digging the hole bigger and bigger. It would be great if people would stay home, and turn off the television in a big way, but some people are so football crazy they’ll keep watching anyway.

My favorite are those who say they will just watch college ball. Apparently, they haven’t been paying attention. This protest will soon spread to that sport too.

I think the real fear is that people truly don’t know what to do with the added free time they will have absent football. For years football has claimed their lives, time, and wallets. I laugh when I go into the grocery store and see big cardboard displays about getting ready for the game. I can eat snacks without a game.

It would be great if people would stay in the parking lot and tailgate as Americans while the players play to an empty arena, but that won’t happen.

Outside of Trump winning, just for once I would like to see America united over something – just one thing – to stick it to these snowflakes. But I know that is asking for too much.
