We thought once we had control of the House, the Senate, and finally The White House we could finally start undoing at least some of the damage 8 years of Obama rule had caused this great country of ours.
Turns out a lot of you so-called republicans were just as much of the problem as he ever was.
And now?
Well, from here on out, one by one, you and your fellow weak-kneed republican swamp dwellers will either see the writing on the wall (think Bob Corker) and retire or be voted out of office and hopefully replaced by someone who'll actually put America's interests first and foremost.
I guess we'll see how it goes from here.
But like I said, your not the only one who doesn't understand the mood of the country today.

ReplyDeleteCouple of predictions here from ole Safe. First, next weeks round of the anti-American NFL games there will be hundreds more dropping to their knees, and probably crowds of President Trump hating godless commie liberals demonstrating in some form or another.
Next, the NFL will have even fewer viewers than this week. By a large amount. And more boos at the games. And smaller attendance.
Next, the owners and the TV networks, who will lose hundreds of millions in revenue will have a change of heart and try to find some way to salvage this disaster they allowed to happen.
Next it will get worse before it gets better. More money lost. Sponsors pulling out. Fans walking away.
Then, the plantation owners will break out the whips and get their trained monkey back on the organ grinders. When this thing starts costing them real money and they realize it's not going to end well, things will change. I don't know what they'll do, but it wouldn't surprise me if they just stop the National Anthem and presenting the flag. And that will go over like a turd in a punch bowl.
The commie news networks will try to cover it all up and pretend everything is great, everybody supports the godless knee planters. But the owners start losing money and everything changes.
There is no happy ending for the godless left on this one. We will crush them like the worthless cockroaches they are.
At least that's how I hope it goes. We shall see.

So now just let it go. It's falling apart daily. Imagine by this time next year, when more exchanges collapse, more people are losing their plans, people are paying double what they were with $12,000 deductibles. By another year they will have felt the impact. More jobs lost or cut to part time. It will only get worse, friends.
And the Republicans can say the same thing over and over. "We tried to fix it but the democrats wouldn't support it. Not a single one". Blame them for everything. Remind the voters the democrats gave them this thing without a single Republican vote.
And by 2020 Americans will be begging for this thing to go away. And all the democrats will have done is make it worse.
We win in the end, one way or another.

DeleteKevin, tell Linda she's in great company...Denver son is putting in new oak flooring throughout their home, replacing the cheap stuff that was in it when they bought it. Got to visit via text with them last night and she's really tired of "living in the basement"...doing all the work themselves after work and weekends. Sent me pics and I told them to keep in mind that their new floors will be beautiful when all done...yours will too!

We still get mortgage interest, that helps the younger families and workers. The bread and butter of our consumer based economy.
But I can understand medical write offs hurting some, but you must be in bad shape or no insurance to have enough to write off every year. I wish I had money to put in charitable, but we don't have that kinda skrilla to dump to get itemization on long form.
Still, I can see how it could suck for ya Dive. But you do better than me to have those liabilities! I'd look into paying as you go a little more. But my goodness, I sincerely congratulate you on your success! You had to of done good in your career.
But my solution is simpler.
Absolutely no write offs for anyone. No deductions, no nothing.
We need a flat tax. The rich pay the same as the poor. Everyone should have skin in the fight. It may sound weird, but I don't like the rich necessarily paying more. Punishing success doesn't seem very capitalistic. Flat tax filled out on a post card, and drastic reduction of the IRS would benefit us all.
Anyhow, no judgments from me. Just my thoughts. And I'm only a middle class, hard ass working guy with a wife and two kids.
So take it for what it's worth.
Why would you think I had to have $12,000 in personal property tax to claim it, that isn't the case. Schedule A line 7, I can claim all PP tax. Also, in same section real estate, sales tax or income tax. Then you add Med insurance premiums that wife and I pay, then add LTC annual premiums to that you have one hell of a medical deduction. No problem getting over the .075 of AGI. Don't even hardly have any actual medical bills, maybe a couple hundred dollars, but how can you go without insurance? We don't have one of those great plans like some of my Goodyear friends have, but it is what it is. So no not in bad shape, medical insure poor is more accurate. Then we give 10% of income to charity.
DeleteThen my tax program prints out the averages for the country, I am below average in all those deductions except charities.
Now I could go for a flat tax on everyone, and I mean everyone, all income levels and all corporations.
Just to add to my comments above, for any out here and I am not directing anything to anyone person, But There has been No Tax bill past yet, so we don't know what the bottom line is. Now the ones that think they do is pretty much is talking threw their ass in my opinion. Lets not go off until we get a good fair look at it. After all most of us are not Liberals. Body cam will come out soon enough, and another agency is handling the investigation, so the protocol is in place to allow justice to be served, although it already has been doled out.
The scene was a madhouse of people just trying to push a narrative, and it didn't work.
This situation was different than most.
Cops responded to shots fired, knew a gun was present, found an individual, visually verified that weapon, struggle ensued, perp ran and reached.
All that equals dead man. And two officers that have to live with it, because of someone else being very stupid.
If anything happened today, and thankfully it didn't, you could actually thank cj who so professionally relied on some wonderful individuals that witnessed it (supposedly). Entities like cj are the ones who are responsible for things like "hands up, don't shoot"...
As for the victim?
I guess he can ask Michael Brown personally how it worked out for him, in hell.
As for that neighborhood?
Put up a fence around it, and let the culling take place.
