Just messing around Monday...

Time is short and since you guys already know the news of the day I thought I'd just share a couple of quick videos I came across the other day that cracked me up.

The first one pretty well sums up what it's like arguing with some of these assholes on Facebook.

And the second one, let's just call it a review of one of my all time favorite movies. Tombstone.

Enjoy your day, guys...

  3. Turning my attention off of the issue I'm having with facebook..... an article on the Washington Times caught my eye - though it was published yesterday, I saw it this morning.

"'Horrible': Clinton loyalists exploited Obama's FBI to spread Russia conspiracy stories about Trump"

By Rowan Scarborough - The Washington Times - Sunday, April 14, 2019

Hillary Clinton loyalists fed the FBI’s upper echelon an assortment of anti-Donald Trump criminal accusations during the 2016 campaign and his presidency, according to a string of interview transcripts released in recent weeks.

James A. Baker, former FBI general counsel who participated on the receiving end, testified that the situation was “horrible” and “highly unusual.”

At least 10 of Mrs. Clinton’s supporters directly or via middlemen told the bureau tales about Russia-Trump conspiracies. It appears to be an unprecedented effort by a presidential campaign and the party in power to count on the FBI to knock out the other party’s candidate and president.

The transcripts create the picture of an FBI not always following expected norms as it activated an unofficial conveyor belt to make sure the allegations reached the counterintelligence division. It opened an investigation into the Trump campaign on July 31, 2016. In October, it began wiretapping at least one Republican while dispatching possibly multiple undercover sources to spy.

In the end, the Democratic Party-financed charges fell flat. Special counsel Robert Mueller reported last month that his 22-month investigation failed to establish a Trump-Russia conspiracy to interfere in the election by computer hacking and social media trolling.

Attorney General William P. Barr testified to Congress that he personally is reviewing how the FBI began the Trump investigation. He said that Obama officials spied on the Republican’s campaign and that he is trying to determine whether it was justified.

That's only the first part of the article...... we all know this stuff already, it's nothing new.

Conspiracy, treason, corruption, ....we all know about this.....

What I want to see is indictments, prison time for all who started this junk..... from the low people on the totem pole all the way up to Obama himself! Just wishing it would happen sooner than later..... but I guess with something of this magnitude that AG Barr will need to go deep beyond the surface before he gift wraps these "enemies of the United States" and sends them to jail.

  6. Hey y'all, here's something to add to the good stories about Trump winning....

'Democrats calling on donors to catch up to Trump's big fundraising haul'

By Dave Boyer - The Washington Times - Monday, April 15, 2019
Democrats raised the alarm Monday about President Trump’s massive first-quarter fundraising haul for reelection, warning liberal donors that the president’s campaign war chest could leave Democratic challengers “in the dust.”

“Now that we’ve seen how much cash the GOP has stockpiled, we’ve got to take things up a notch,” said a fundraising email from the campaign of Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts.

Her campaign noted that Mr. Trump’s reelection campaign raised $30.3 million in the first quarter of 2019, more than his two top Democratic rivals combined. The total brings the Trump campaign’s cash on hand to $40.8 million, far more than President Obama had raised by this point in 2011.

“The Trump campaign now has approximately 21 times more cash on hand than the Obama campaign had at this point in the reelection cycle,” the president’s campaign said Monday.

It said nearly 99 percent of its donations were of $200 or less, with an average donation of $34.26. The Republican National Committee, which brought in $45.8 million in the first quarter, had its best non-election year total ever.

The joint fundraising committees have enlisted 100,000 new small donors in 2019, the campaign said.

“The president is in a vastly stronger position at this point than any previous incumbent president running for reelection, and only continues to build momentum,” said Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale.

Combined, the president’s reelection campaign and the RNC reported $82 million in the bank. That total has Democrats scrambling to catch up.

“The GOP is already spending money on ads to get their message out,” Ms. Warren’s campaign letter warned. “Democrats can’t let the far right have a monopoly on what voters are hearing this year — and we need resources right now to keep building our movement to win in 2020.

The Warren campaign said it is “back on track to hit our April fundraising goal.”

In the Democratic field, Sen. Bernard Sanders of Vermont has raised about $18.2 million, followed by Sen. Kamala D. Harris of California at $12 million and former Rep. Beto O’Rourke of Texas at $9.4 million.

Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden, who is near the top of most Democratic polls, has yet to join the race officially."

  7. Did y'all catch this in the article?

"“The Trump campaign now has approximately 21 times more cash on hand than the Obama campaign had at this point in the reelection cycle,” the president’s campaign said Monday."

Maybe it's just me, but remembering back to Secretariat and Penny Chenery Tweedy.... they had a lot of opposition on all sides but they perservered and came out winners. There's been no one like them before or since..... much like Donald Trump - he's been battling more junk than any other president and he's proven to be resilient and he is still standing his ground and he's ahead!

As for this Notre Dame on fire. A while back they went hard left and even though they are supposed to be a Catholic school, they endorsed abortion and the homo lifestyle. Not saying God is rewarding them for their apostacy, but....

  20. I have wondered, for a long time, just what it would be like to take a few days off, just to do some fun things, and no work or projects! Seems like every day I take off, it has to be for a specific reason, then I burn up all of my vacation time before I have a chance to do something for me, myself, and I! Cry me a river, Right? :) Oh well, life is good, and I'm just jealous of all of you "really retired" people! You all continue to work your ass off because you kind of want to, not because someone else is calling the shots! Choices are good in life! Someone should tell the Millennials that, and all of those "Socialist Democrats"! And since Bernie is now a true Capitalist and a Millionaire, ("Sell a best selling book, and you can be a Millionaire too"-Bernie Sanders), maybe someone should tell that hypocrite that too!
