Your thoughts?

Don't get me wrong here. I am profoundly grateful for these senators, especially Roger Marshall (good to see a Kansas politician with some balls for a change) for at least trying to make a stand.

I just don't think it's going to amount to much of anything other than, hey we tried.

Your thoughts?

GOP Senators Including Cruz, Blackburn to ‘Reject the Electors from Disputed States’ January 6

GOP senators, including Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Steve Daines (R-MT), John Kennedy (R-LA), and Mike Braun (R-IN), are joining Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) in objecting to electoral college votes on January 6, they announced on Saturday in a joint statement alongside four senators-elect.

The senators and incoming lawmakers — including Sens.-elect Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), Roger Marshall (R-KS), Bill Hagerty (R-TN), and Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) — released a joint statement on Saturday, expressing their intent to “reject the electors from disputed states” on January 6, explaining that the 2020 presidential election featured “unprecedented allegations of voter fraud, violations and lax enforcement of election law, and other voting irregularities.”

“And those allegations are not believed just by one individual candidate. Instead, they are widespread,” the lawmakers said, citing a Reuters/Ipsos poll showing that over one-third of Americans, or 39 percent, believe the election was “rigged.”

“That belief is held by Republicans (67%), Democrats (17%), and Independents (31%),” the Republicans said, noting that some members of Congress disagree, “as do many members of the media.”

“But, whether or not our elected officials or journalists believe it, that deep distrust of our democratic processes will not magically disappear. It should concern us all. And it poses an ongoing threat to the legitimacy of any subsequent administrations,” they continued, explaining that, in an ideal world, the courts “would have heard evidence and resolved these claims of serious election fraud.”

The Supreme Court, however, declined to do so on two occasions, they argued.

“On January 6, it is incumbent on Congress to vote on whether to certify the 2020 election results. That vote is the lone constitutional power remaining to consider and force resolution of the multiple allegations of serious voter fraud,” they said, explaining the “long precedent of  Democratic Members of Congress raising objections to presidential election results, as they did in 1969, 2001, 2005, and 2017.”

They wrote:

And, in both 1969 and 2005, a Democratic Senator joined with a Democratic House Member in forcing votes in both houses on whether to accept the presidential electors being challenged.

The most direct precedent on this question arose in 1877, following serious allegations of fraud and illegal conduct in the Hayes-Tilden presidential race. Specifically, the elections in three states—Florida, Louisiana, and South Carolina—were alleged to have been conducted illegally.

In 1877, Congress did not ignore those allegations, nor did the media simply dismiss those raising them as radicals trying to undermine democracy. Instead, Congress appointed an Electoral Commission—consisting of five Senators, five House Members, and five Supreme Court Justices—to consider and resolve the disputed returns.

We should follow that precedent. To wit, Congress should immediately appoint an Electoral Commission, with full investigatory and fact-finding authority, to conduct an emergency 10-day audit of the election returns in the disputed states. Once completed, individual states would evaluate the Commission’s findings and could convene a special legislative session to certify a change in their vote, if needed.

“Accordingly, we intend to vote on January 6 to reject the electors from disputed states as not ‘regularly given’ and ‘lawfully certified’ (the statutory requisite), unless and until that emergency 10-day audit is completed,” they announced.

The GOP lawmakers contended that support of election integrity should “not be a partisan issue” and called for a “fair and credible audit” completed prior to inauguration day, expressing the belief that such would “dramatically improve Americans’ faith in our electoral process and would significantly enhance the legitimacy of whoever becomes our next President.”

“We owe that to the People,” they continued:

These are matters worthy of the Congress, and entrusted to us to defend. We do not take this action lightly. We are acting not to thwart the democratic process, but rather to protect it. And every one of us should act together to ensure that the election was lawfully conducted under the Constitution and to do everything we can to restore faith in our Democracy.

The senators’ announcement puts them alongside Hawley, the first GOP senator to announce his intention to object to the electoral college votes in key states.

In a Wednesday release, the Missouri lawmaker explained that he could not vote to certify the results “without raising the fact that some states, particularly Pennsylvania, failed to follow their own state election laws.” He also said he could not do so “without pointing out the unprecedented effort of mega corporations, including Facebook and Twitter, to interfere in this election, in support of Joe Biden.”

He, too, called on Congress to investigate allegations of voter fraud and adopt election security measures. At this point, Hawley added, Congress failed to properly act on the matter.

“For these reasons, I will follow the same practice Democrat members of Congress have in years past and object during the certification process on January 6 to raise these critical issues,” he said.

At least 140 House Republicans are expected to object to an immediate certification of a Joe Biden victory, as Breitbart News detailed. The action from both members of the House and Senate will trigger debates in both chambers.

The new Congress will be sworn in on Sunday, three days prior to January 6.

  2. It's just optics. Going through the motions.

They don't have the votes to sustain the objections Cruz is bringong to the floor in the Senate.

This is only solidifying who the candidates will be in 2024. Until the GOP decides to work for the American people and not the cabal, it will continue.

These people won't do what's right for the American people, because it would require using their moral set that would impede in their ability to participate in the good ol boy deep state games that exist in DC.

I'm a peaceful person by nature. Hate violence. But the pickle here is, I don't believe there is a way back to America without a heated discussion.

Yea, and it's probably time for that. Just my opinion.

  3. I agree with Hammer. It's all just theatre at this point. We don't stand a chance of overturning this sham of an election. Right or wrong, doesn't matter. The swamp runs deep.

This won't stop it. It's a chance for people to show their support so when 2024 comes around we'll have a little bit of knowledge about who is who. Or who is pretending to be who, anyway.

It's all about Georgia now. And we are fighting uphill. They have the local government in their pocket. They have that gap toothed she gorilla running the democrat/communist side of things. They have the voting process so contaminated at this point it's looking like a banana republic down there. And they have the commie rat bastards in the media deep in their pocket.

If we lose that, we lose it all. That's not hyperbole, that's fact. And that's why every commie in the country is down there, and sending money. The Marxist from Kenya is there and the whole politboro with him. Hollywood is pouring commies and money in. And you know China is funneling million in through the democrat/chinese communist party.

It's going to be ugly, and I'm afraid Hammer is right. It's going to get wet out on the streets. If we lose this, patriotic people know their last possible hope is gone and the only way to stop this commie takeover is going to be up to them.

This country was born of revolution. 1776 wasn't a fight against foreign invaders. It was a fight against our own government. And our founders left us the way out for the next time. And it hinges on the second and first amendments to the Constitution. The second wasn't to protect duck hunters and target shooter. Remember that. It was for a time the founders hoped would never happen.

Something called enemies foreign and domestic. And especially when they are working together.

  4. Our biggest threat is the DOMESTIC enemies. We are fighting against the left and the RINO's Both in the swamp together. Hard to fight one side when you have people on your back stabbing you from behind claiming to be on your side.

  5. Read 1984. It's all there.

Those who love America and want to save her are now called seditious. Those who want to destroy her and remake her into a Marxist paradise are called patriots.

People who riot in the streets, burning, looting and murdering are called heroes, and are held up in glory. Those who would stop them are vilified and called racists and worse.

Orwell had it right. God also told us. In the end times, right would be wrong and wrong right. Evil would be good and good evil.

  6. 14 Million doses of the chinese flu vaccine have been distributed to the states. 4 million people have been vaccinated. Whose to blame?

Why of course, President Trump. He got a vaccine produced, in fact multiple vaccines, in months. A process that at its best has always taken years. He got it in motion, being distributed as fast as the manufacturers can make it. The states have it. They are responsible for administering it.

But instead of looking at their own state governments and asking what the fuck is going on, they blame the guy that made it even possible to have the vaccine.

America has gone insane, on a mass level. They are being led by a corrupt and communist run media that is lying to them on virtually everything they say. The inmates are truly running the asylum.

  7. What frightens me about it?

Once upon a time we would cross a frozen river, under dressed and starving, on Christmas, in the dark, to kill you for our freedom. Today, it seems to me most people couldn't put their smart phone or latte down long enough to close the bolt...

Because of that, I'm not sure there will be a first shot Sarge.
Because I hate socialism/communism, love my independence and country amongst these young virtue signaling metro sexual skinny jean wearing social-minded weak faggots?

Yea, my patriotic ass will be merely relegated to a FEMA camp to be worked to death or taken on a walk to look at some pretty flowers.

Scares the shit out of me, but I'm good with it. Still better than licking any boot...

  8. Not saying that I would agree with some of the things that the way out so called patriots would do but I am really surprised we haven't seen some mass killings or bombings of the libtards. I have been all over this country and I guarantee you there are some of them out there. I have ran into them at truck stops and on the CB going across country. Some of these skin heads are just crazy enough to try it. remember Ok City? You know what that was over?

  10. To think that Orwell wrote the book "1984" in the year 1949 and had forseen basically all of what is now going on now in 2020-2021, basing it then on Stalinist Russia, is to me, so incredible and frightening! To think that people now, don't actually see what is happening, or don't care, or actually want it to happen, is even more incredible! God, help us all!

  16. One of the truly frightening things the commies have used the chinese virus to implement is suspending rent payments. Many democrat/communist run cities put in place bans on evictions and suspended rent payments. This is an absolute breach of our entire free enterprise system. The government has no place inserting itself in private contracts between two parties.

Many landlords are sole proprietors and individuals who own rental property. For many the rent on the property is their only income. When the government steps in and allows people to stop paying rent these people are left holding the bag with no relief in sight.

This is a typical commie move. Under the pretense of "fairness" and "compassion" they are punishing one group of people by taking from them and giving to another more favored group of people.

If this is allowed to stand, without landlords being made whole again somehow it will be a major blow to our free enterprise system, which is the goal of the democrat/communist party. This is just another blow against America and most people are unaware it is even happening. Which is the perfect situation for the advancement of the democrat/communist agenda.

  17. Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, who pretends to be a Christian Pastor ended a prayer with the following:

"We ask it in the name of the monotheistic god, Brahma, and god known by many names by many different faiths,” Cleaver concluded. “Amen. … and A-woman.”

Former Mayor of Kansas City and pretend Christian who like many commies claims Christian affiliation to help hide their true godless atheistic communist beliefs.

You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44

  18. New York is sitting on 2/3 of its chinese virus vaccine it has received. Why would they do that?

Well, the democrat/communist playbook says do anything that will hurt President Trump and the Republicans. Vote in Georgia coming up. One that will either secure the commie takover or thwart it partly. So...keep as many people sick a possible.

Hold back the vaccine from the people, all the while screeching and lying about how the President had handled the vaccine rollout poorly. A bald faced lie.

These people are devious, butt also transparent. It's easy to see what they are up to, but sadly, most people aren't looking.

  19. The more myths, lies and deception that we believe, the more dependent human beings we are. Therefore, the fewer myths, lies and deception we believe, the more wealthy and healthy we become.

Myths, lies and deception we call propaganda dehumanizes us and twists our beliefs against us and our best interest.

Propaganda is the science of persuasion and mind control which has as its purpose to forge allegiance to a political order or to consumption of the products of big business and big pharma. Propaganda victimizes the public by changing and controlling its belief system against the public itself for the benefit of political power and monetary gain.

I have learned very well the power of propaganda. I have observed that very intelligent people with good minds can be manipulated against their best interest with propaganda. Organized and sophisticated propaganda seems to operate above the threshold of intelligence. This is to say that without some imperative to trigger inquiry, very intelligent people are sold myths the very same as the general population.

The esoteric purpose of propaganda is to extract wealth and labor illegally as concealed involuntary servitude. The people who use propaganda to persuade the people against their best interest create myths and sell them as benefits.

  20. Nobody knows how long the present fascist system, euphemistically called American democracy, will last. It is totally corrupt, and the breakdown of the rule of law is all but complete. Oh, yes, we still have the national symbols of liberty — but in name only. We have widespread corporate corruption as well as the corporate corruption of government and politics.

The American people are under siege, but precious few are aware. People who were obsessed with their materialism are now obsessed with what other people are and aren’t wearing on their faces, and who they are or aren’t coming within six feet of.

The United States has more political prisoners than any nation in the world because most are in a prison of the mind, created for them by the "American system."

I used to wonder, will government and its politicians awaken in time for reform with economic sobriety? The answer is categorically no! Nobody will give up the power they have grabbed to control people’s lives.

In the final collapse, government always attacks the private sector and the people rather than admit that government itself caused the decline and fall of America, if not all of Western civilization.

True to this, we now have people lamenting "one of the most difficult and horrible times America has ever gone through," and yet it was government that created the horrible conditions we have now of rising prices, a collapsing economy, and despair.

The question, as always, is: What does the prudent person do in the face of all this?

  21. Since we are now well aware that we and our U.S. dollar assets are buying less and less, what must we do? Shall we wait for impoverishment or take action before the crowd rushes for the exits? No, it is not too late!

    1. Buy gold and silver to store. I myself always favor junk silver coins pre-1964 U.S. 90 percent silver.

    2. Store basic storable foods now before prices skyrocket even higher. This has always been an important long-term theme of for a long time as I always say Be Prepared.. The public does not understand this vital concept — do it quietly. If you talk, fools scoff. We have enough of those fools...
