How much longer can this last? I really wonder. This full on, fascist totalitarian attack from the radical left commies. Attacking our President. Slandering him. Libeling him. Silencing him. And the same to us. The constant, relentless narrative that we are unredeemable seditionist white supremacists. That everything we say is hate speech so that justifies the fascism of silencing us. Of reeducating us. Of deprogramming us.
I hate to sound cliche, but this is very reminiscent of Nazi Germany. And of the infamous Saul Alinski, radical communist leader and mentor to obama, clinton and the progressive left of today. Isolate a target. Focus the hatred on them. Blame then for the ills everyone is experiencing. Then turn the nation against them. Justify the hatred. The anger. And the retribution. After all, everything wrong is their fault, right?
But how long can this go on? They're going really far already. Now they are aiming at the voting process. They want to incorporate all the things they used to steal the election into law. No voter ID. Mail in ballots with no verification. No checks, no balances. And since the only people who oppose these "progressive" ideas are all white supremacists who tried to violently take over the government, they need not be listened to, right?
But how long can this last? Turning brother against brother. Family against family. A nation against itself. The Bible and Abraham Lincoln both warned us, a house divided cannot stand. And we are living in a house divided.
I really wonder what the commies imagine the end game to be. Will they eventually wear us down to the point we just surrender? Give up the fight and let them rule over us? Is there something that makes them think that could happen? What will happen?
Lots of talk about Civil War and such. I don't see that, not like 1861. It will look very different. But something will happen. Look what has already happened. The left spent the last six months rioting and looting and burning without anybody stopping them. They had no specific grievance, just a big list of things they don't like. They destroyed neighborhoods, full of middle class and working class people, leaving them with smoldering heaps that were their businesses they spent their lives creating. Thousands of cops injured. At least 36 dead, directly from the riots. Billions in damage. And what happened from it? Not much. Still going on. Now they're turning on joebama.
On the other hand, a bunch of our side decided to follow suit. They didn't burn anything, or loot, or riot in the street. They marched to the Capital and walked in like they owned the place. (Which they actually do). And what happened? All hell broke loose. The left went absolutely apeshit.
The commie riots got a big yawn for a response. Our side got their attention.
I'm not endorsing anything here, but making an observation. Our side, when they finally have had their fill will respond in a way that will get their attention. It's inevitable. They can't stop it now. They created this monster. Like the famous quote from the Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto after the attack on Pearl Harbor: "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."
They don't see it. But they will, if they keep this up. You can only push a man so far, an American man that is. We bend, but we don't break.
I live up here in God's country. Surrounded by mountains. Small unincorporated towns. Descendants of miner, cowboys and hard people. They used to hunt mountain lions for sport. Everybody here owns guns. Lots of guns. Hell, my pastor carries a piece. Our head of security at our church is a guy who lost his legs in battle after he joined the Rhodesian army. That was the only fight he could find. Then later he rode a Harley Davidson across Russia by himself, with artificial legs.
My point is, these are who America is. Not the kale eating Starbucks sipping millennials who hide behind their keyboards and think that how fights are won. And these are the people who have just about had all this they can take.

Article I, Section 3, Clause 6:
"The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments. When sitting for that Purpose, they shall be on Oath or Affirmation. When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside: And no Person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two thirds of the Members present."
Got that? When the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES is tried... Roberts is simply saying they are not trying the president, but a FORMER president and now private citizen, and therefore he has no constitutional duty to preside over that trial.
A view which is defensible, and which ought to be shared by everyone involved in attempting this trial. Trump is not president, and therefore this trial is unconstitutional.

Senate GOP signals acquittal looming for Trump

Senators voted Tuesday to proceed with an impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump — though more than a third of them dissented, in a vote that Republicans said shows Mr. Trump will ultimately be acquitted.
Minutes after senators were sworn in as jurors for the trial, Sen. Rand Paul demanded a vote on whether the proceedings were constitutional, since Mr. Trump is no longer president.
His motion was tabled on a 55-45 vote, but those 45 Republicans would be more than enough to acquit the president at the end of a trial.
Mr. Paul, heading into the vote, had said he’d hoped for at least 40 Republicans, saying that would prove that “the whole thing’s dead on arrival.”
“It’s almost as if they have no ability to exist except in opposition to Donald Trump,” Mr. Paul said.
While the vote on Mr. Paul’s motion isn’t a guarantee of the outcome, Republicans said it was highly suggestive.
Democrats insisted trying a former official is both legal and justified, particularly in this case where Mr. Trump is accused of inciting insurrection with the Jan. 6 attack on Congress.
“The history and precedent is clear. The Senate has the power to try former officials,” said Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer, New York Democrat.
He called Mr. Trump’s actions “the gravest offense ever committed by a president of the United States.”
The Constitution allows two punishments for impeachment — removal from office and a bar on future holding of office.
At issue is whether those can be applied once someone is no longer in office.
Five Republicans voted with Democrats Tuesday, signaling they believe a trial is in order — though they said that does not presage their opinion of Mr. Trump’s guilt.
Those Republicans were Sens. Mitt Romney of Utah, Ben Sasse of Nebraska, Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania, Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.
I do not know why the Republican Senators would even show up for a fake impeachment trial in the Senate chambers! This whole thing should have been brought before the Supreme Court to determine whether a FORMER President can be tried for impeachment. It is ridiculous to even suggest that it could even happen, or be Constitutional yet these bozos have it going on and no one has the balls or intelligence to stop it! It certainly proves that a person does not have to be smart to get elected, and it certainly proves that those who know it is wrong and still do or say nothing to stop it, are scared to death of losing they cushy jobs if they make any noise about it!

Walter Duranty was a writer for the commie newspaper the New York Times. Many were executed in his purge, but many died from starvation because Russia was in the grips of a horrible famine. The famine was caused by the communists taking over agricultural production, using communist central planning. They basically starved millions of people to death. Central planning is what the democrat/communist party wishes to impose on us. The government runs everything. How much money you make. How much property you own. How much you work. How much you get paid. Whether you can own guns. Etc.
America would have helped Russia during the famine, but Stalin refused to let the world know what was happening because it would expose the inherent failures of communism. And Duranty and the NY Times helped by printing lies. That was almost 90 years ago, so yeah, they've been at this a long time. And had conspirators in America for just as long.
Back then they did their devious work underground. Hiding in plain sight, but hiding none the less. Today they do it openly. They make no secret of their plans, their wish to destroy our Free Market system and our very civil society.
Now they work with the Chinese communists as well as the Russian communists, because they have common goals. Destroy America and rebuild her as a communist governed nation.
And that's where we are in 2021.

Sen. Rand Paul said the impeachment of former President Donald Trump in the Senate is “dead on arrival” after 45 Republicans voted against holding the trial.
“We had 45 people, 45 Republican senators say that the whole charade is unconstitutional. So, what does that mean? It means ... the trial is dead on arrival. There will be a show. There will be a parade of partisanship, but the Democrats really will not be able to win. They will be able to play a partisan game that they wish to play. But it’s all over,” Paul said Tuesday evening on Fox News Primetime with Maria Bartiromo.
The Kentucky senator called for a motion on stopping the trial because Trump is no longer in office, and thus, Paul said, the impeachment is “unconstitutional.”
Five Republican senators voted in support of putting Trump on trial for allegedly inciting an insurrection on Jan. 6, including Susan Collins, Ben Sasse, Lisa Murkowski, Pat Toomey, and Mitt Romney. It would require a supermajority vote in the Senate to convict Trump, meaning 17 Republicans would need to vote that the former president is guilty of the charge.
Paul added in his interview with Bartiromo that there is a “double standard” among Democrats in regards to inciting violence.
"One of Bernie Sanders's supporters came to the ballfield, nearly killed Steve Scalise ... but nobody talked about impeaching Bernie Sanders. Maxine Waters has said, 'Get up in their face.' So has Cory Booker. 'Become a mob. We want you to mob them at restaurants and cause mayhem.' That sounds like an incitement to violence, but nobody's talking about impeaching Maxine Waters. Nobody's talking about impeaching Bernie Sanders or Cory Booker for saying, 'Get up in their face,’” he said.
"So, it's a significant hypocrisy and double standard that they're putting forward, and they should be called out on it. We should not be shy about calling them out about their hypocrisy."
Paul’s interview comes after he delivered a floor speech on Tuesday arguing that the impeachment would only further “divide the country” while noting that Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts won’t preside over the trial.
"If we are about to try to impeach a president, where is the chief justice?" Paul asked. "If the accused is no longer president, where is the constitutional power to impeach him?"
"Impeachment is for removal from office, and the accused here has already left office,” Paul said. "Hyperpartisan Democrats are about to drag our great country down into the gutter of rancor and vitriol, the likes of which has never been seen in our nation's history."

Delete"Shorts" is a dirtier game. Shorts, that's when you borrow stock and immediately sell it. Meanwhile when you pay the stock back, it's dropped so you don't owe as much money back or "short".
Today, you saw a small group of people refuse to run and sell their stock based on speculation. They held the line, some for a few days some for a few months. The stock skyrocketed, so what stock was borrowed to sell, had to be paid back anywhere from 300%-1200%. That's why Wallstreet is crying, and some MSM is covering for them. They lost a gamble, because rebel kids said "fuck you" to billionaire hedge funds. Made them pay this time. Its great!
Wallstreet is crooked.
Problem is, just a few assholes can open their mouth and move or manipulate the market. In the "long" or "short" game.
Also, people should never be frozen out of their account allowing them to buy, sell, or trade while Wallstreet continues on, like what happened yesterday and today. Ever. Free market.
And be prepared, she will be a bearish volatile ride next year or so. Gains in bloated tech, will pop soon enough.

Buying and selling on shorts, and gambling on a company's stock going down is the play. But when people buy in, and hold no matter what? The fund never drops, and the gains have to be paid back to the investors.
It is a lot easier to invest in gold at least it was when it was around $200 bucks a once fuck the stock market. But what the hell do I know????
ReplyDeleteI moved 90% of my investments into money market and stepped my McD's to mature at 3 month, 6 month, yearly and so on. Pull some cash out of savings just to hold onto. I purchased silver rounds and Some gold and stashing those into safety deposit boxes. Next move might be to buy large cases of cigarettes, cigars and booze, not for my consumption but for bartering if need be. LOL. I got burned in the 80's and I learned my lesson. I don't care if if don't make much in money markets, I feel it is safe for me make less money than to have it taken from me.
