You want to see some actual disgusting lines of questioning just tune in to the upcoming Kavanaugh confirmation hearings.
We all know Peter Strozk is a lying piece of shit.
And we all know along with the support of his superiors he did everything he could to keep Trump from winning the election.
That's just a fact.
But the problem is that the DC Swamp really hates it anytime the truth starts being exposed and is more than willing to do whatever it takes to shut it down.
They couldn't have the American people going into the weekend hearing and thinking about the damning testimony we all just watched.
They needed a distraction and they needed it quick.
Out of nowhere along comes another bullshit 12 count indictment of Russian officials.
You know it's all bullshit because it's meaningless, it'll never go anywhere, and it has nothing what so ever to do with President Trump or any member of his campaign staff.
But it keeps the Russian narrative alive.
It changes the conversation away from Peter Strozk.
And as an added bonus it attempts to undermine tomorrow's meeting between Trump and Putin.
It gives the democrats and Never Trumpers (John McCain) another excuse to attack Trump.
The hysteria has already begun.
They're demanding the meeting be cancelled.
He's doing Putin's bidding, they chant.
Proceeding with this meeting borders on treason, they cry.
They all scared to death that Trump and Putin might actually find they can work together and begin to fix some of the problems facing the world.
Hang on to your asses, boys and girls, we still have 3 and a half months to go till the Mid-Term elections.
A damaged and exposed Swamp is dangerous and they're more than willing to do and say whatever it takes to hold on to their power.
Make no mistake, they're just getting started.

Interesting to me that since the 1930s the communists have been planting misleading information in the media. Misdirecting and disrupting wherever they could. ReplyDeleteI was visiting with Kevin on fb.... we have bigger problems with the AC - fearing the worst and the repairmen are full up and won't be out til tomorrow. it's near 90 in the house and hubby n' me ain't doing well. Over night last night the house got real hot, so Rick and I went out to check on the unit outside. The unit itself was hot to the touch so we cut the power to it so it wouldn't cause electrical fire. Nope....not a good situation.

ReplyDeleteDid you see the news articles last week about the University of Kansas flying an American flag that had been blotted with black paint? While KU has taken down the flag they still have it displayed in a campus museum. They only took the flag down after public pressure and think they can get away with putting it in a museum.
Desecrating our national flag is an insult to our country and should not have a place on our public university campus.
Yup heard it and seen it, really suck what is going on in this country.

I differ a little, though. Art, music, speech etc... is all protected under 1A. Inside the museum I guess I really don't have a problem with it. But flying it outside the building? That's a whole different story.
KU wasn't the only university doing it either. There were a whole bunch. But look at it this way, the provost and chancellor immediately stepped in. That didn't happen everywhere. Common sense still abounds here, in little ol Kansas for now.

Rikki must be the season. Our main water pipe broke today and soaked our basement. The plumber couldn’t shut off the main because only the water dept has the key to do that. Water gushed in for 15 minutes until they got there.

Now tomorrow they are replacing the water line from the meter to the house.
So no water but no AC is way worse.

It took them a crew about 1 day to clear out the basement and plug in the large floor fans. They came with their own boxes and bags and what you want tossed, they'll take it away and what you want saved they'll put it where you want it put.

SO.. there's that. The report contained any number of caveats regarding anything that appeared to be a solid "conclusion". However, most Senators were briefed on the CIA docs, and to think the report did not bear the fingerprints of Cheney and the other neo-cons is naive at best. In any case, it gave Bush the power to go to war, and he did so, emphasizing the intelligence that supported the neo-con contentions, and minimizing the extensive warnings.
So here we are the better part of a century enjoying the safety of a geo-political order that America constructed, that has prevented another world war, and raised the standard of living across the globe. Trump, the man - child is questioning those institutions that have given the West the upper hand and preserved the continuation of the so called "American Century". All in all it has been a good thing.
And yet over and over, posters here swallow the Trump line, the FBI, CIA, NSA, Dept. of Justice... these are BAD. The EU is bad ( WTF ? ), NATO is bad. The world hasn't been fair to us. Well, you are about to find out how wrong that is. Watch your commodities' markets take a hit in Kansas because of Trump's brilliance.
