Iraqi Cleric Muqtada al-Sadr Tells Shiite Militia ‘The Crisis Is Over’
Muqtada al-Sadr, perhaps the second most influential Shiite leader in Iraq after Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, on Thursday urged Shiite militia forces to be “patient” and stand down because the “crisis is over” between the U.S. and Iran.

Envoy: Iran Done Attacking U.S., ‘We Are Not Seeking Nuclear Weapons’
https://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2020/01/09/envoy-iran-done-attacking-u-s-we-are-not-seeking-nuclear-weapons/
Do I think this will be the end of hostilities out of Iran?
No, not at all.
What I do think is that they've decided to wait and see if America is stupid enough to elect another president in November.
They'll be looking for us to elect one of the weak democrats who've already sided with them at every turn.
Truth is, they want nothing to do with an American president who's willing to stand up to them.
Hang on to your asses, boys and girls.
2020 has arrived...

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Y'all :)
Got some interesting info to pass along to y'all. In the book written by Ronald Kessler "In The President's Secret Service behind the scenes with agents in the line of fire and the presidents they protect" are these quotes by the Secret Service who served throughout the decades:
Very interesting, but not surprising. Scroll down to read what Kessler thinks of the presidents he served. And now, you'll know the rest of the story. Interesting snippets from Ronald Kessler's book about our presidents.
JOHN & JACQUELINE KENNEDY
He was a philanderer of the highest order. She ordered the kitchen help to save all the left-over wine from State dinners, mixed it with fresh wine and served again during the next White House occasion.
LYNDON & LADYBIRD JOHNSON
LBJ was as crude as the day is long. Both JFK and LBJ kept a lot of women in the White House for extramarital affairs and both had set up early warning systems to alert them if/when their wives were nearby. Both were promiscuous and oversexed men. She was either naive or just pretended to not know about her husband's many liaisons.
RICHARD & PAT NIXON
A "moral" man, but very odd, weird, paranoid. He had a horrible relationship with his family and was almost a recluse. She was quiet most of the time.
Part 2 of ??
ReplyDeleteSPIRO AGNEW
Nice, decent man. Everyone in the Secret Service was surprised by his downfall.
GERALD & BETTY FORD
A true gentlemen who treated the Secret Service with respect and dignity
He had a great sense of humor. She drank a lot !!
JIMMY & ROSALYN CARTER
A complete phony who would portray one picture of himself to public and very different in private, e.g. would be shown carrying his own luggage, but the suitcases were always empty. He kept empty ones just for photo ops. He wanted people to see him as pious and a non-drinker, but he and his family drank alcohol a lot !! He had disdain for the Secret Service and was very irresponsible with the football" with the nuclear codes. He didn't think it was a big deal and would keep military aides at a great distance. Often did not acknowledge the presence of Secret Service personnel assigned to serve him. She mostly did her own thing.
RONALD & NANCY REAGAN
The real deal, moral, honest, respectful and dignified. They treated Secret Service and everyone else with respect and honor. Thanked everyone all the time. He took the time to know everyone on a personal level. One favorite story was early in his Presidency when he came out of his room with a pistol tucked on his hip. The agent in charge asked: "Why the pistol, Mr. President ??" He replied, "In case you boys can't get the job done, I can help." It was common for him to carry a pistol. When he met with Gorbachev, he had a pistol in his briefcase. She was very nice, but very protective of the President, and the Secret Service was often caught in the middle. She tried hard to control what he ate. He would say to the agent, "Come on, you gotta help me out." The Reagan's drank wine during State dinners and special occasions only, otherwise they shunned alcohol. The Secret Service could count on one hand the times they were served wine during family dinner. For all the fake bluster of the Carters, the Reagan's were the ones who lived life as genuinely moral people.
GEORGE W. & LAURA BUSH
The Secret Service loved him and Laura Bush. He was also the most physically in shape who had a very strict workout regimen. The Bushes made sure their entire administrative and household staff understood that they were to respect and be considerate of the Secret Service. She was one of the nicest First Ladies, if not the nicest. She never had any harsh word to say about anyone.
BILL & HILLARY CLINTON
Presidency was one giant party. Not trustworthy. He was nice mainly because he wanted everyone to like him, but to him life is just one big game and party. Everyone knows about his sexuality. She is another phony. Her personality would change the instant cameras were near. She hated, with open disdain the military and Secret Service. She was another who felt people were there to serve her. She was always trying to keep tabs on Bill Clinton.
Part 3 of 3
ReplyDeleteALBERT GORE
An egotistical ass who once overheard by his Secret Service detail lecturing his son that he needed to do better in school or he would end up like these guys, pointing to the agents.
GEORGE H. & BARBARA BUSH
Extremely kind and considerate, always respectful. Took great care in making sure the agents' comforts were taken care of. They even brought them meals. One time she brought warm clothes to agents standing outside at Kennebunkport. One was given a warm hat and, when he tried to say "no thanks" even though he was obviously freezing, the President said "Son, don't argue with the First Lady. Put the hat on." He was the most prompt of the Presidents. He ran the White House like a well-oiled machine. She ruled the house and spoke her mind.
BARACK & MICHELLE OBAMA
Clinton all over again - - hates the military and looks down on the Secret Service. He is egotistical and cunning. He looks you in the eye and appears to agree with you but turns around and does the opposite. He has temper tantrums. She is a complete bitch who basically hates anybody who is not black, hates the military, and looks at the Secret Service as servants.
A 'TRUE STORY ABOUT' General McChrystal's resignation in Obama's office from General McChrystal's book !! NEVER STAND IN LINE AGAIN. Some men carry and handle their diplomacy better than others. When former U.S. Military commander in Afghanistan, General McChrystal, was called into the Oval Office by Barack Obama, he knew things weren't going to go well when the President accused him of not supporting him in his political role as President. "It's not my job to support you as a politician, Mr President, it's my job to support you as Commander-in-Chief," McChrystal replied, and he handed Obama his resignation. Not satisfied with accepting McChrystal's resignation, the President made a cheap parting shot. "I'll bet when I die you'll be happy to piss on my grave." The General saluted and said, "Mr. President, I always told myself after leaving the Army I'd never stand in line again.
Fits with how I viewed them. Wonder how the agents feel about Obama v Trump.
ReplyDeletethe email I got didn't go into President Trump.
ReplyDeleteShould have waited for part 3.
ReplyDeleteOne court just handed Donald Trump the win he waited his whole Presidency for
ReplyDeleteDonald Trump spent nearly three years fighting off frivolous legal challenges by the Left to his agenda.
The President finally got some good news on that front.
And that’s because this one court just handed Donald Trump the win he waited his whole Presidency for. He got the Money for our wall, Keep on winning...KAG
great news indeed Sarge :)
Deleteis ok Thomas :)
ReplyDeleteI especially like the ending quote regarding parting General McChrystal when he tendered his resignation to Obama:

and I re-iterate the General's reply to Obama's cheap shot....for the mentally challenged libtards and demoNcrats:

ReplyDeleteFellow Democrats are losing patience with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over her refusal to contribute to the party's House campaign organization
ReplyDeleteRep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has already topped the fundraising charts in her short time in Congress, but the liberal darling won’t donate a cent of her millions to Democrats' House campaign organization -- a position that has rankled some of her colleagues, Fox News has learned. Instead, Ocasio-Cortez is building her own fundraising operation for fellow progressive candidates to bypass the official Democratic Party infrastructure. Already, she's actively funding primary challengers to oust fellow democrats,The Haunting starts, hahahahahha
I seriously doubt if she'll get re-elected.

All I can say is people have enough notice of bad weather where they can plan to stay off the roads.
ReplyDeleteThe more that I think about it, I think the President had an excellent plan in how to handle Iran. With the lack of income coming in due to the lack of oil moving out of Iran, the sanctions that have been imposed on them, the unrest and protests going on by it's citizens, Iran has put themselves in a box and they really cannot control the outcome unless they start playing a little nicer. They really can't afford to get into a major conflict with the US that would most likely totally destroy them,if the US chose to do so. Solemani being taken out while in Iraq was perfect. Then, them shooting off missiles in "retaliation" for his killing was just for show, trying to save face with their people, knowing that if they killed any Americans, Trump would probably bury them! Trump let them have their minute of retaliation and backed off, not doing anymore. If Iran is smart, which I'm not sure that they are, it would be a good time to start negotiating a new peace deal. But most likely, they will wait until after our election, hoping that one of the worthless wimpy Democrats will beat him so that they can manipulate one of them in future deals. Once again, Trump has come out looking very intelligent in his foreign affairs, although the MSM will never give him the credit nor will the Democrats! Trumps "war", according to them, lasted how many hours? Why anyone would vote for any of those imposters on the Democratic side is beyond me! To use the words of Peter Strzok, Trump should win this election 100,000,000 to 0!

Pelosi folds, articles of impeachment to be transmitted to Senate next week
By Gabriella Muñoz and Alex Swoyer - The Washington Times - Updated: 12:15 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2020
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Friday that the articles of impeachment against President Trump will be transmitted to the Senate next week, backing down from the unprecedented standoff with the Senate without winning concessions Democrats demanded from the GOP-controlled upper chamber.
Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler is tasked with preparing a resolution naming impeachment managers and send the articles over to the other chamber, which the House will vote on sometime next week.
Mrs. Pelosi refused to send over the articles of impeachment after the House impeached Mr. Trump on abuse of power and obstruction of Congress on December 18.
The charges stem from allegations the president leveraged military aid and the prospect of an official White House visit to pressure Ukraine into opening investigations into political rival Joseph R. Biden.
In a press conference on Thursday, Mrs. Pelosi said the Republicans hadn’t made clear what the process will be for the trial.
“I said from the start, we need to see the arena in which we are sending our managers. Is that too much to ask?” the California Democrat said.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced his week that he secured the votes to move ahead with a process like that in the Clinton trial.
In that 1999 proceeding, House prosecutors and a White House defense team presented their cases and answered questions from Senators before the chamber decided whether or not to hear from additional witnesses. Those rules were decided on unanimously.
A handful of Republican senators, while on board with Mr. McConnell’s “phase one” approach, are also interested in hearing from key witnesses like former National Security Advisor John Bolton.
House Democrats have been arguing the Republicans aren’t actually honoring the Clinton model in this situation because the Democratic president was investigated by special counsel for over a year, whereas some officials they called for their investigation did not cooperate.
In her letter to her members, Mrs. Pelosi highlighted a number of new developments in the Ukraine case
Despite the three week standoff, Democrats are folding without getting a guarantee that witnesses and additional evidence will be included in the Senate proceedings.
“For weeks now, Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell has been engaged in tactics of delay in presenting transparency, disregard for the American people’s interest for a fair trial and dismissal of the facts,” Mrs. Pelosi wrote in her letter to Democrats. “In an impeachment trial, every Senator takes an oath to ‘do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws.’ Every Senator now faces a choice: to be loyal to the President or the Constitution.”
She also slammed Mr. McConnell for signing on to a resolution, introduced by Sen. Josh Hawley, that would have dismissed the trial altogether if the articles weren’t submitted by Friday — 25 days from the impeachment vote.
“A dismissal is a cover-up and deprives the American people of the truth. Leader McConnell’s tactics are a clear indication of the fear that he and President Trump have regarding the facts of the President’s violations for which he was impeached,” she wrote.
The Washington Times has the article now.

ReplyDeleteWell Kevin last month they said I was low On iron, so I bought a bottle of pills, this month they say I am okay on iron but I need B-12 so I ordered a bottle of b-12. And the Doc says I have arthritis and said he could set me up for shots in my hips knee's and ankles and back, I told him that is not going to happen, so he ordered me pills to see how they will work. Hell man I am becoming a walling drug store and a pin cushion, Hell to get old... OH and I hope you are doing well with your minor pulled Muscle. Lol
ReplyDeleteMinor pulled muscle my ass.

Hell, I was pretty sure I was either gonna die or go into a coma...
Oh I thought you said it was Minor, Now I fell bad...
ReplyDeleteLol... I might be exaggerating just a little...

ReplyDeleteIt's mostly all better.
Finally tossed the crutches aside and started trying to walk on it Thursday afternoon. It hurt like hell but that's getting better.
Had to go back to have it looked at yesterday. They gave me a clean bill health and released me to go back to work Monday morning.
Damn the bad luck...😎
Come on Kevin. This is America 2020. You should be able to ride that injury to a lifetime disability payment, along with all the benefits that accompany it.
ReplyDeleteOh, sorry. I guess that's only for drug addicts, not working people.
Where I live, there is a community that is overrun with drug addicts, criminals on the run from the law and various other dregs of society. It's a ways from my little community, so we don't see them here but when we go to town for groceries they are like cockroaches swarming the streets. The pass time between crimes by panhandling. Most people I know refuse to give them money, me included. They are a disease on society. Everytime the police pick up one of these idiots, they have multiple outstanding warrants on them. They come up here to hide, since we have no local police department, only the Kern County Sheriff and the California Highway Patrol to police our area.
And these morons in California passed a referendum four years ago making any theft less than $950 a misdemeanor instead of a felony. And drug possession is virtually not a crime. So shoplifting is now rampant, because there is virtually no prosecution and stores don't risk stopping the criminals because of liability if a fight breaks out. And these idiots in California voted for this referendum on the ballot four years ago. It's up for another vote, to repeal it this November, but I bet it doesn't get repealed. These people are a whole new level of stupid. They are the very definition of Useful Idiots. They vote for their own destruction. This place is pretty amazing.
But, no snow for me. Sorry about your weather back there. It's mid fifties here. I don't own a snow shovel, I left it in Kansas. Winter here is cold nights, fairly warm days for a couple of months, then summer comes. I don't miss the snow.
Well Safe when summer comes there be prepared when the wind blows You may get that stink from down below. :):)
