They got him this time.
Fer real.
Thanks to mental giant Adam Schiff and his "oh so compelling, and indisputable proof President Trump may as well start packing his bags.
It's over, boys and girls.
Adam Schiff Cites Washington Post Editorial Against Trump in Senate Trial
Lead House impeachment manager Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) used an opinion article by the editorial board of the Washington Post in an attempt to prove the facts of his case against President Donald Trump in opening arguments in the Senate impeachment trial Wednesday evening.
Schiff cited the editorial board, which has taken a staunch anti-Trump line since the 2015-6 election, as if its opinion ought to be considered compelling evidence by the Senate.
He said:
On September 25th [sic], the Washington Post editorial board reported concerns that President Trump was withholding military assistance for Ukraine, and a White House meeting, in order to force President Zelensky to announce investigations of Vice President Biden and purported Ukrainian interference in the U.S. election. The Post editorial board wrote: “[W]e are reliably told that the president has a second and more venal agenda. He is attempting to force Mr. Zelensky to intervene in the 2020 presidential election by launching an investigation of the leading Democratic candidate, Joe Biden. Mr. Trump is not just soliciting Ukraine’s help with his presidential campaign; he is using military aid the country desperately needs in an attempt to extort it.
The editorial in question, clearly marked “Opinion,” was published Sep. 5 and bore the title: “Trump tries to force Ukraine to meddle in the 2020 election.”
It is unclear who “reliably told” the Post what the president’s agenda was, though Schiff himself is widely suspected of having leaked information from the House Intelligence Committee investigation, or allowing such leaks to occur.

This is a pdf format letter - it should be easier to use / open the link on a computer rather than cell phone because it's 14 pages long.
I found it on the Great Falls Tribune newspaper weblink
https://www.greatfallstribune.com/story/news/2020/01/22/montana-ag-asks-senate-reject-impeachment/4548595002/
Here are the first two paragraphs of the article
"Montana’s Tim Fox was among 21 Republican state attorneys general who sent a letter to the Senate on Wednesday outlining the legal flaws in the effort to impeach President Donald Trump.
“In short, the articles lack any reasonable evidentiary basis & are fundamentally flawed as a matter of constitutional law,” Fox said on Twitter."
Also in the article is these powerful paragraphs:
ReplyDelete"Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge agreed, saying "What the House of Representatives has done is tear down and rip apart the threads of our democracy."
"We cannot allow one party to be so frustrated with the outcome of an election that they will undo our Constitution," she said.
I applaud Attorney General Derek Schmidt for getting on board with the other Attorneys General in outlining the flaws in this impeachment proceeding against President Trump.
ReplyDeleteThe idiot demoNcrats have taken our country into uncharted waters that they are ripping apart the very meaning of democracy.
Re: the letter sent to the US Senate by the 21 Attorneys General
ReplyDeleteThe conclusion in this letter...
Because the legal theories underlying both Articles I and II are both legally flawed and factually insufficient, are inherently destructive of separation of powers, and are contrary to the Framer's vision of the impeachment power, the Senate should explicitly reject them. Even more importantly, it should reject them to protect the institution of the Presidency and the Constitution from such a dangerous precedent for future generations. The Senate should not adopt the specious and legally vacuous theories of "corrupt motives" and "unilateral control." Both theories present the same destructive seed of thought: that a President may be removed from office for exercising his lawful privilege and authority.
This partisan political effort undermines the democratic process, both now and in the future. The House unilaterally re-writes the constitution, without the people's consent to amend it. It weaponizes a process that should only be initiated in exceedingly rare circumstances and never for partisan purposes. This purely partisan attack on President Trump will damage democracy in America in the worst possible way: it will forever weaken the separation of powers - the very edifice upon which our democracy stands.
If the Senate does not reject this politically-motivated, manufactured theories upon which the impeachment articles are based, the House will be emboldened to base future impeachment efforts upon the same vague, boundless, and destructive theories. Indeed, because congressional precedents establishing the contours of impeachable conduct are wholly insulated from judicial review, it is imperative that the Senate's basis for rejecting the articles against President Trump be clear for future generations. We, therefore, urge the Senate to reject the Articles of Impeachment.

What the minion supporters of the Democrats do not realize is that if the House Democrats get their way in this impeachment that even their voices will be silenced.... but then to idiots like Blue and his alternate logins - they have empty cavities where their brains should be!!!!

ReplyDeleteSenate GOP unmoved by Dems' impeachment message: 'Not changing our opinion'
By Alex Swoyer - The Washington Times - Thursday, January 23, 2020
Sen. Joni Ernst said the chamber’s Republicans are wondering when the House impeachment managers will get around to presenting the “overwhelming evidence” they promised.
Ms. Ernst, an Iowa Republican up for reelection this year, said the impeachment trial against President Trump so far has been “a lot of the same.”
The senators, who are the jury for the impeachment trial, often chat during their breaks and many feel they aren’t hearing any new information after hearing roughly 15 hours of arguments by the House Democrats who are serving as prosecutors.
“I’m looking for a bombshell, I just haven’t heard it,” he said.
Mr. Trump is on trial for two articles of impeachment, abuse of power for asking Ukraine to investigate political rival former Vice President Joseph R. Biden and obstruction of Congress for not cooperating with the House impeachment inquiry.
Ms. Ernst went on to tell reporters the House managers keep showing the same clips during their presentation, suggesting senators are ready to see something fresh.
“We are getting the same little clips over and over and over again. One clip — you will see it three times, maybe we will see it five more times today. It’s not really changing our opinion,” she told The Washington Times.
Rep. Adam Schiff, California Democrat and one of the House impeachment managers, has worked video clips of the president during press conferences and some sound bites from witnesses that appeared at House hearings, which were televised for the public last year, into his arguments as he tries to convince the upper chamber that the president abused his power and obstructed Congress.
The impeachment charges stem from a July 25 phone call where President Trump requested the Ukrainian president look into conduct linked to a political rival, former Vice President Joseph R. Biden.
Democrats argue the president’s administration withheld military aid to Ukraine in exchange for the investigation.
An investigation was never announced by Ukrainian officials, but the aid was released in September.
catching bits and pieces of the House dems.... in their presenting their fake charges.... I have the urge to tell them to STFU!
ReplyDeleteHey did y'all open the pdf link to the 14 page letter from the 21 Attorneys General to the US Senate?
I can't even watch most of the memes and vidyas sent to me.
ReplyDeleteOl pencilneck is hard to stomach. His charade is sad, and the media slurping it right up? Grossly disgusting on many levels.
Useful idiot. By definition.
But, that's the price of winning. I'm sure the tactics will change, and be no more nobler in the future.
It's 2020, after all.

DeleteAn excerpt from my 1600 Daily email this morning:
ReplyDeleteIt’s official: Americans have stopped listening to the Swamp
It’s day 3 of the Senate impeachment trial, and Americans have already tuned out.
Fewer than 12 million people watched the trial’s opening day on Tuesday, compared with about 13 million who viewed the first day of impeachment hearings back in November. That was already a low bar to cross: Day 1 of those hearings drew 32 percent lower ratings than even James Comey’s uneventful Senate testimony in 2017.

Good Morning y'all :)
Looks like a good day to just sit back and relax...
ReplyDeleteThis non-stop impeachment bullshit is so tiring! According to all of the praises from the MSM dumbshits, you would think that Schiff head just gave the Gettysburg Address!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see or hear Lt. Col. Vindman I am reminded of the sorry ass REMF's I had the displeasure to encounter in the Army. He has the expression and voice that begs to be punched.

ReplyDeleteat least we are done listening to Adam Schitthead and his minions..... now it's the Senate's turn and things will go swiftly from there.
ReplyDeleteIt'll be entertaining to see the Adam Schitthead, et al sit and be quiet as the Republicans pound their flimsy farce of an impeachment into the ground.... resulting in a total acquittal of President Trump, then the icing on the cake... Nov. 2.... President Trump is re-elected to office....
ReplyDeleteget plenty of popcorn y'all.
Yup I can see pencil Neck scrumming in his chair now...
ReplyDeleteg'morning again. no flavored coffee this morning, just regular :)
ReplyDeleteI, too, would love to see him (Schitthead) with his mouth shut and his eyes bugged out in anger!
If it's not pencil neck and his charade bugging the shit out of me, then it's the Twitter beef involving Pat Mahomes.
ReplyDeleteIt's a sad day when a young man tweets about a situation, and years in the future it can haunt.
I stand with my QB. Even if he possibly supported Zimmerman and the law enforcement community. I know it can be infuriating that he didn't have many good things to say about Travon...
Give people two weeks to wait for a game, and this happens I guess.....
Gonna have to stay offline today. Certain things in this country have just been destroyed. Nothing sacred, nothing immune.
Have a great day folks.
Been watching the Senate opening statements - they're awesome! just wished they'd have an inset picture of what Shitthead and his minions faces!
ReplyDeleteOur great President attended the March for Life. The first President to do so.
ReplyDeleteHe spoke of every unborn child being formed in the image of God. True. What a change from our previous president who believed unborn children should be killed up to and even after birth.
Our President acknowledged God and his authority over our lives. The democrat party boos and hisses the name of God when spoken at their convention, and voted to remove his name from mention in their platform.
And the godless commie rat bastard media continues to be puzzled at the support for our President by the evangelical community. They continue to try to explain to actual Christians what Christians should believe. That one always amazes me. People who reject my faith, but are happy to explain to me what I should believe based on what their father Satan has told them.
So save it, you heathen apostate leftwing commie rat bastards. You're children of the devil, and as such are unworthy of discussing anything related to God.
“Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces." Matthew 7:6

Hell in two hours they destroy Adam Shitt.
ReplyDeleteWell hell might as well just say good night.
ReplyDeleteGood morning room 235...
