No commentary needed...

Good Thursday morning boys and girls.

I'm going to make today's edition of Room 235 (The Underground Bunker) short, sweet, and directly  to the point.

And that, my friends pretty much covers it all...

  2. I'm getting a little nervous here. I love this President but his comments on gun control are making me nervous.

This idea that if "someone", whoever that might be decides someone is mentally challenged in some way you take their guns, then go to court is so over the top I am concerned that he would even say it.

Especially in the light of how the left is continually caterwalling about him being "mentally unfit" for the Presidency. And not just the godless left wing riff raff, but their national news media.

So if the standard is that low, you can imagine your liberal neighbor that doesn't like that you have guns calling the gestapo on you, telling them some lies, which is their native language anyway and they come knocking at your door wanting your weapons.

Do I need to paint a picture of how that's going to go? I think not. But it's the godless left's dream come true. And things will get wet in a hurry.

  3. Those enhanced background checks and medical records bothers me, too. There is so much that could go off the rails with that.
And what of people who were charged with a crime or crimes but never convicted of same? Maybe prone to violence but maybe not...

And I know Sessions is controversial but an attorney general is not supposed to do a president's bidding. It's the purpose of the separation of powers thing. If Trump wants him gone, then stop humiliating the man on the national stage and call him into the Oval and fire him. That tweet yesterday was a bit much.

    1. Yup agree was a bit much, also I wasn't happy when he said don't be afraid of the NRA, I say be very afraid, because that is us, plus millions of other that voted for him, don't mess with us and the Constitution.

    2. The current NICS works well with diligent reporting. But thats the problem, the reporting. More NICS won't help agency laziness.

And just to state a fact, currently even being charged with domestic battery/violence disqualifies you from purchase. Very messy to clear your name even if not convicted. Specific box to check on the form. Just wanted to add that, not trying to step on toes...

  4. Sarge, good point.
I think people need to understand that that the NRA is the people that back them, not just some agency. American people, and the will of the people.
    They should be very careful...

  5. Yes, have heard that on the domestic violence business. Then you have the out-of-control teens who call police and yell "abuse" if a parent dares to lay a hand on them in discipline. Cops get called, reports get made, sometimes dcf gets in on the act...and somewhere in the mess the truth goes missing. I see these types of calls and reports quite frequently on the local scanner pages; you can bet they are nationwide.
Big can of worms, just sitting on the cabinet and waiting for the opener. And the corruption potential? Enormous. Broward County as example.

  6. Will try this post again.

Glad I am not the only one concerned about comments from President Trump, sometimes I wonder if I think things through too much. Thinking thing through and all the possibilities is why I was good at my job, which was software development.

Watch out, they are smart enough to just nibble around the edges until you are caught off guard.

  8. The non stop attacks from the media, the democrats, the Never Trump republicans, Drug infested Hollywood actors, communist college professor, and other assorted riff raff haven't made a dent in their attempts to destroy him.

    Why?

Because his base is unwavering and rock solid.

And there are only two things that can change that.

    Surrendering on immigration.

And joining ranks with the gun grabbers.

I hope he understands the potential consequences as he moves forward...

  9. Keep in mind this man is also an expert at the art of war.

Make your enemy believe you are near when you are far.

Make you enemy believe you are far when you are near.

It's possible he is just creating diversions here. Remember, just because he says something doesn't mean he intends to do it. It's possible he's just drawing them out in the open.

This man is far smarter than his opponents. And he has outmaneuvered them at every turn so far. He tweets things just to get them to turn into whirling dervishes and make fools of themselves.

Remember, he did this with DACA. Told them bring him a bill and he'd sign it even if he didn't like it. He didn't sign anything, did he?

I'm concerned, but I'll wait and see what happens. This President so far has driven the godless left insane. I'm trusting he has a plan.

But if not, and he does actually take the gun control path then that's a different story. But he knows that's a foolish thing to do, so I suspect there's something else afoot here.

  10. SSAH, I am leaning that way myself, I think he has a plan and playing with them for now, than he will go by the Book by the Boom.

  11. I'm right there with you guys.

All we can do at this point is wait and see how thing plays out.

Just remember, Donald Trump is the only thing standing between us and a complete take over by the left.

If we lose Trump we'll lose it all..

  15. For the past 90 years, the good people of Bladensburg, Maryland have remembered 49 local veterans who lost their lives during World War I with a 40-foot cross.

But that beloved cross could be torn down thanks to a shocking ruling from the Fourth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.

Judge Paul Niemeyer, echoed First Liberty Institute’s concerns in his dissenting opinion — warning that “it also needlessly puts at risk hundreds of other monuments with similar symbols standing on public grounds across the country.”

Judge Niemeyer specifically cited Arlington National Cemetery, “where crosses of comparable size stand in commemoration of fallen soldiers.”
