  6. Read yesterday where some Illinois legislator was intimidated by the rifles at the rally ( referred to them as assault weapons). Technically any weapon is an assault weapon, but I digress. She said she was glad or envious some of her fellow legislators had bullet proof vests. Don't think she is aware most rifle rounds will easily pierce a vest. Ignorance is bliss.

  8. The Michigan protest is a bellwether of what is to come. Americans don't like tyrants. Now the MI governor extended the internment for another month just out of spite. The legislature opposes it. Look for a court fight.

But the point is, this is happening all over. And these protestors are sending a clear message to their overlords. We ain't gonna take it. The left is responding with the usual hyperbolic nonsense, labeling them "terrorists".

Remember something. I've talked about this before. The American Revolution was supported by about a third of the colonists. The rest just wanted to be left alone, or supported the Brits. But the small minority prevailed. They led the insurrection against the government and the country followed.

And remember also. While John Adams was making speeches and forming a structure to start the whole thing, his brother Samuel was busy with the Sons of Liberty, doing all kinds of mischief and provoking the British government. They were called terrorists. The tyrannical Brits hated them. And they were carrying around weapons openly, and protesting and marching. Kind of like the patriots we are seeing today.

We are under assault by elements of our own government, drunk on their power and becoming the tyrannical totalitarians they actually are. Thank God there are American patriots who are willing to tell them what to expect if they continue down this road.

We declared our independence from Britain, they had the chance to grant it and go on. They were convinced a bunch of ragtag farmers and fishermen didn't stand a chance against the greatest military power on earth. They found out differently. Things are going to get hairy soon. Things may get wet. Hopefully not, but it could go either way.

Refuses to release his Senate records. Then says any complaint filed against him would be in the National Archives.

    Check there.

Not so fast, says the National Archives Administrator stayed those records would never have been in the archives.

That's something that would be in his Senate records.

Supposedly these are his working papers, speeches, etc. Supposedly, she was interviewed by the DC Police and they may check both storage areas.

Gee, Biden used same defense as dear leader.

You all know how I love New Mexico. My beautiful Mom is from there. New Mexico will always have a special place in my heart. Every now and then I look at their news papers from various cities.

    This from the Gallup Sun

    http://gallupsun.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=13891:gallup-weekend-restrictions&catid=150:sun-news&Itemid=600

Gallup gets a three-day lock down

Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham invoked the New Mexico Riot Control Act, which authorized her to enact temporary restrictions to mitigate the uninhibited spread of COVID-19 in the City of Gallup.
The Riot Control Act authorizes the governor to, for the temporary existence of a state of emergency, prohibit persons being on public streets and the use of certain streets and highways, among other broad emergency restrictions.
The act states in Section 12-10-17 – Proclamation of emergency that “Upon request of the mayor of a municipality or the sheriff of a county or a majority of the members of the governing body of the municipality or county having jurisdiction and after finding that a public disorder, disaster or emergency which affects life or property exists in the state, the governor may proclaim a state of emergency in the area affected. The proclamation becomes effective immediately upon its signing by the governor.”
In Section 12-10-18 – Emergency restrictions: It lists that the governor may prohibit by proclamation any person being on public streets, parks or locations during specific hours; gatherings; the sale or purchase of or dispensing of alcoholic beverages; the use of certain streets and other activities to help maintain life, property or the public peace.
WHAT IT MEANS FOR PEOPLE IN GALLUP

Under the Riot Control Act, anyone who fails to comply with restrictions imposed under the act is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction of a second or subsequent offense is guilty of a fourth-degree felony.
In his letter to the governor, Gallup Mayor Louis Bonaguidi acknowledged the need to craft restrictions to address the crisis.
“Further,” he said “we recognize that an emergency declaration under the Riot Control Act expires after three days, and that additional requests will need to be made if the situation warrants your continued exercise of authority.”
These Gallup restrictions will automatically expire on the third day after they become effective, unless terminated sooner by proclamation of the governor. The Gallup emergency is effective immediately and will expire at 12 pm May 4.
State Sen. George Muñoz, D-Gallup talked about the importance of getting back to normalcy in McKinley County.
“Thus, we are restricting travel in and out of the county, establishing a quarantine, for the next three days. We will assess each day afterwards until the spread of the virus is reducing,” he said.
The modified public health order for the state, announced by the governor during an online conference on April 30, will not apply to McKinley, Cibola and San Juan Counties. The new order calls for modified re-opening of some businesses.
McKinley County as of April 30, had reported 1,027 positive cases of COVID-19, more than 30 percent of the state’s total positive COVID-19 cases and the most positive cases in the entire state, outstripping even far more populous counties. Its infection trend has shown no sign of flattening.

  35. So how long do these anti-science leftists want the country shut down for? For months, years? An immunization is one to two years away. It could be years before this runs its course without one. Do we just stay under the control of anti-constitutional tyrants who are issuing illegal orders in defiance of everything America has stood for since its founding?

Are these people driven by irrational fear or a desire to collapse the American economy so they can rebuild it in their communist image? I suspect that's the true answer. That's why this reopen issue is breaking down as a right vs left issue. The left couldn't stop us from growing this economy by making brilliant economic moves, and they couldn't stand that we had proven their commie policies were massive failures. They knew they were going to get wiped out in the election this year. So when this virus came along, they manipulated the narrative and caused this economic collapse so they could blame Trump. 30 million unemployed. The government spending beyond out of control. Leftist commie policies getting rammed through on every bill. They're winning this one friends. And the Republicans let them.

This is what they do. They are good at it. And they control the media so they have the power to persuade the American people. Totalitarian fascists always use their control of the media to spread their commie agenda.

But America is getting tired of it. We are seeing the protests. And they won't go away. They won't get less.

"I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him." Revelation 6:8

  36. Don't let the political class, the media and the cognoscenti convince you that "qualified people" of one race or another, of one sex or another, or of one color or another are getting passed over.

Kamala Harris wasn't "a brilliant woman of color" who was passed over or told to wait her turn. She ran for president. She just didn't get enough votes. No one wanted her in office. "Mayor Pete" Buttigieg wasn't passed over. He didn't get enough votes. People don't want him as president. That's not getting passed over, that's losing. Those two are losers. What's more, those same people who tell you "people are getting passed over" conveniently forget Tulsi Gabbard. She doesn't exist to them, yet she is still a woman of color running for president in their own Party.

It's more of the fake "candidate is qualified" nonsense. Naturally, when it comes to passing out favors and pandering, they all forget about qualifications because the next candidate "must be a woman," or "must be a woman of color" or "must be non-binary." Biden guarantees it will be a woman on his ticket. No qualifications needed, then, Joe? For these people, none are needed. Like any good socialist, the rules are for thee and not for me.

  37. This is why I've often said that it is an insult to our intelligence to think that writing to, or complaining to, our Senators and congressweasels will do anything. Establishment Democrats and Republicans in elected office are the same. They owe everything to the government and they sell their souls to government.

The only exception to that in my mind was Ron Paul, and there may be another one or two today, but they are ostracized, like Justin Amash. Just remember that our so-called congressmen and senators are paid by the Federal Government, which is controlled by 147 "super entities" — and that is now who they work for, not the people.

These "super entities" have become the fourth branch of government, dictating what you can say, what you can sell, what you can buy and even tracking what you do with your own private time in your own private residence.

They would like you to "stay at home" — they have ordered you to do so, unconstitutionally — so that you keep your head down, rely on the government, and do so until it's time for the deathcare system to take you, and taxes to finish off your memory like you never existed except to enrich the state. As SSAH says we can see it coming right now.

  38. Another thing you must not fall for false phrases like "elected officials," "leaders" and "those in authority." You are the authority. You are in the position of power. You are not one of the fools.

The fathers of the U.S. Constitution believed in limited government and maximum individual liberty. They provided for us a republic where we had the right to privacy, to vote, to free speech and a free press. The politicians are trying to take these things away from us is in full force, now. We have to stand for our rights what ever it takes very soon, I see it starting, Be prepared it is going to get as Ugly as Maxine Waters, Good Grief.

It just might work in today's climate. I just hope we didn't wait to long. But I am to old to do anything now, but I can still be a good supporter...

    By 76 percent to 15 percent, Americans believe you should be legally in the United States to get government services;
    By 57 percent to 36 percent, Americans want to keep the Hyde amendment which blocks using taxpayer money for abortions;
    Only 13 percent of Americans believe abortion should be legal even up to the date of birth;
    Only 15 percent of Americans favor allowing prisoners convicted of any crime to vote in prison;
Only 26 percent of Americans favor paying reparations to descendants of slavery while 68 percent oppose.

Trump rips George W. Bush's call to end partisanship amid coronavirus
'He was nowhere to be found in speaking up against the greatest Hoax in American history!'

By Ryan Lovelace - The Washington Times - Sunday, May 3, 2020

President Trump criticized former President George W. Bush’s call to put aside partisanship amid coronavirus but not during the impeachment proceedings of Mr. Trump.

Mr. Bush published a video message on Saturday urging unity amid the coronavirus’ outbreak, which received 4 million views on Twitter as of Sunday morning.

“.@PeteHegseth “Oh bye the way, I appreciate the message from former President Bush, but where was he during Impeachment calling for putting partisanship aside. @foxandfriends He was nowhere to be found in speaking up against the greatest Hoax in American history!” Mr. Trump tweeted.

Mr. Bush’s message called for people to ignore partisanship to better protect the most vulnerable to the coronavirus and to assist those who have become unemployed.

“[L]et us remember how small our differences are in the face of this shared threat,” Mr. Bush said. “In the final analysis we are not partisan combatants, we are human beings equally vulnerable and equally wonderful in the sight of God. We rise or fall together, and we are determined to rise.”

Mr. Trump’s jab at Mr. Bush paled in comparison to other targets. Mr. Trump reserved his harshest Twitter criticism early on Sunday for the media, which he labeled “totally CORRUPT, the Enemy of the People!” for allegedly failing to show “real polls.”
    ___

    1. GW hasn't really been a fan of Donald Trump, neither were the other "Bush's".
    2. Iffen GW was gonna speak up about partisanship, he should have spoke up at the beginning 2016 and carried through to present time - he kept silent about the antics of the DEMONcrats.

DNC chair compares Biden documents to Clinton email scandal

By Ryan Lovelace - The Washington Times - Updated: 10:31 a.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2020

Democratic National Committee chair Tom Perez said Sunday he views potential documentation of sexual assault allegations against former Vice President Joseph R. Biden as comparable to concerns raised about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails during her failed 2016 presidential campaign.

Mr. Perez told ABC’s “This Week” that the University of Delaware’s collection of Mr. Biden’s Senate records involves such things as policy documents and speeches, not personnel records.

Asked why the documents could not be searched for former Senate aide Tara Reade’s name to learn whether her alleged complaint about Mr. Biden’s alleged sexual misconduct is included in the archive, Mr. Perez grew frustrated.

“This is like the Hillary emails,” Mr. Perez told ABC. “Because there was nothing there. … And so when you ask the University of Delaware to take a look at something, you’re asking them to look for something that doesn’t exist, and the fact of the matter is that the president of the United States, the former president, Barack Obama, conducted an exhaustive search [for a vice president]. Joe Biden was an open book.”

Ms. Reade has alleged Mr. Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993. The University of Delaware’s curation of Mr. Biden’s archive reportedly will not be ready until the spring of 2021 despite previous indications that the university hoped to make his records available before the November election.

Mrs. Clinton’s use of a private email while managing the State Department dogged her 2016 presidential campaign and led to an investigation by the FBI. Former FBI director James Comey, who was later fired by President Trump, said in July 2016 that the investigation did not discover that Mrs. Clinton intended to violate the laws regarding the handling of classified information but it did determine that Mrs. Clinton and her colleagues were “extremely careless.”
    _____

i.e. The Democrats are doing to Tara Reade what they are best known for...devouring their own. Tara Reade is a Democrat, she supported Hillary in 2016. I actually believe her story about Biden - the dude is super creepy! But the Democrats are going to devour her if she pursues this - I hope she does pursue it, Biden needs to be grilled and charbroiled!

SANTA FE, N.M. — A city that is a modern-day trading post on the southern outskirts of the Navajo Nation was on lockdown over the weekend under the watch of National Guard troops and state police to discourage nonessential travel and commerce as local coronavirus infections soar.

Invoking provisions of the state Riot Control Act, New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham ordered residents of Gallup to remain home except for emergencies and blocked roads leading in and out of town to nonessential travel and any vehicles carrying more than two people.

The restrictions were welcomed by local and state officials who have watched COVID-19 infections spread to nursing homes and homeless populations as well as overwhelm hospital intensive care units, leading coronavirus patients to be transferred to Albuquerque.

Some visitors were caught off guard as they traveled from the Navajo Nation to stack up on supplies, only to find entire sections of the Gallup Walmart cordoned off as sales were restricted to food and other essential commodities.

“They didn’t tell us on the radio or anything,” said Patrick Sandoval of Ganado, Arizona, who came in search of food, games, baby wipes and other items for his family and neighbors. “You don’t find out until you get in there that it’s just essential items.”

Despite restrictions, lines of shoppers outside Walmart stretched for hundreds of yards (meters) on Friday afternoon. Stores have been ordered to close under emergency provisions that expire at noon Monday and can be extended by order of the governor.

Gallup is a hub for basic household supplies, liquor sales and water-container refills for people living in remote stretches of the Navajo Nation - often without full indoor plumbing - and indigenous Zuni Pueblo. The Navajo Nation has imposed evening and weekend curfews on the reservation spanning parts of New Mexico, Arizona and Utah.

  64. Part 2 of 2:

State Sen. George Munoz, D-Gallup, said the flow of visitors had gotten out of hand with little regard to state social distancing mandates, as federal stimulus checks arrived in March. He believes the crackdown had strong public support in Gallup.

COVID-19 infections in Gallup and surrounding McKinley County surpassed 1,110 confirmed cases as of Saturday account for 30% of cases stateside, surpassing infections in much larger communities such as Albuquerque. In all, more than 3,730 cases have been reported in New Mexico as of Saturday, with at least 139 deaths.

Federal health officials have linked the severity of the problem in Gallup to an early outbreak at a detox center that was followed by infections among homeless people and nursing homes.

Homeless residents who contracted COVID-19 were being offered temporary shelter at four motels at the expense of the state to isolate them and slow the spread of the virus.

Lujan Grisham is holding fast to business restrictions and social distancing mandates until at least May 15 in the northwest of the state, including large portions of the Navajo Nation, where infections are surging.

She eased some restrictions Friday on nonessential businesses that can provide curbside service and allowed the reopening of gun shops and veterinary offices. Elective surgeries and procedures were reinstated at hospitals that resorted to furloughs and staff reductions as income from traditional sources plummeted.

City officials in Gallup requested the new state of emergency under the riot act that can prohibit people from walking the streets and using certain roads. Violations are punishable as misdemeanors on a first offense and as a felony on the second offense. Emergency declarations under the act expire after three days and can be renewed.

Gallup officials were correct to ask the governor to lock down the city because the influx of shoppers from the surrounding region makes it difficult to enforce social distancing, said David Conejo, CEO of Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services, which operates a Gallup hospital.

Gallup’s hospitals send COVID-19 patients to Albuquerque hospitals to keep beds available locally for new patients, Conejo said.

“We’re transferring and coordinating with them daily,” he said. “There’s a very structured system to address the COVID epidemic.”

In addition to the Rehoboth McKinley’s hospital, the Indian Health Service has a hospital in Gallup where the Army Corps of Engineers recently set up a hospital in a closed Gallup high school.

To the east, a pawn shop in Grants has been notified of a possible $60,000 fine for remaining open in defiance of a statewide public health order that restricted nonessential business operations.

That city of 9,000 has become a flashpoint of political conflict after Mayor Martin Hicks urged all businesses to reopen against the governor’s orders and advice from nearby Acoma Pueblo.

After this dumb mass hysteria pandemic pandemonium is over then the good people must ensure that petty tyrants everywhere are frustrated and under control, and that the ones that have arisen are punished with great prejudice.

That assumes facts not yet in evidence, that the hysteria will end, and the tyrants know that their emergency powers require an on-going emergency - the new normal. Waiting ... waiting ... waiting for nothing to happen.
