Wasserman Schultz on Impeachment: Trump Will ‘Cower in a Corner’ Due to His Guilt

On Sunday, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) predicted on CNN that President Donald Trump was “going to cower in the corner” because of his guilt, referring to the so-called impeachment inquiry.

Wasserman Schultz said, “What came to my mind when I heard that he again refused to participate in his own defense is that the innocent defend themselves vigorously and vociferously, the guilty hide, obstruct, lie and obfuscate. It’s very clear that President Trump is going to cower in the corner because he is absolutely guilty of all of those— of an abuse of power, of obstructing Congress, of trying to get a foreign power to interfere in our elections for his own personal and political benefit and withheld vital foreign aid that was appropriations law.”

“And if those aren’t impeachable offenses, then as one of the constitutional scholars said last week, nothing is,” she continued. “The Founding Fathers intended for us to not allow any president to be above the law, and that’s what we’re proceeding with this week, so that we can make sure that the American people can have confidence in their elected officials that we’ll uphold our oath that we swore to defend the Constitution which the president has violated.”

The Department of Justice’s sweeping review into the origins of its Trump-Russia probe has evolved into a criminal investigation, according to the New York Times.

The launch of a criminal probe allows U.S. Attorney John Durham, the prosecutor tapped by Attorney General William Barr to lead the review, to subpoena witnesses for testimony and documents. The move also authorizes Durham to impanel a grand jury and file charges.

“If true, this shows Bill Barr is doing EXACTLY his job: following the facts Those who damaged America and broke the law to spread this hoax are about to face accountability,” Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) tweeted in response to the Times’ report.

The development comes after an NBC report revealed Barr recently expanded his agency’s review, noting that Durham has “found something significant and critics should be careful.” As part of the inquiry, Durham has sought interviews with CIA analysts who assessed Russia’s activities during the 2016 presidential election, prompting some of them to hire lawyers, NBC News stated.

Durham has been tasked with determining whether the Justice Department, FBI and intelligence authorities improperly surveilled the 2016 Trump campaign as part of their investigation into now-debunked coordination with Russia during the last presidential election. Special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation found insufficient evidence of a criminal conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia.

The hard-nosed U.S. attorney has reportedly received briefings on the “four corners” of the FBI’s use of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants as part of its controversial counterintelligence operation into the Trump campaign. “Durham is specifically reviewing the FISA warrant obtained by the FBI to surveil former Trump aide Carter Page, as well as general issues relating to surveillance during the 2016 campaign and matters flowing from the FISA process,” Fox News reported.

The FBI used the Steele dossier to obtain a FISA warrant to surveil Carter Page, but did not disclose to the FISA court that Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign or the Democrat National Committee (DNC) funded the dossier, despite indicating that the dossier was compiled as opposition research. Barr has described the dossier as “opposition research” with “clear mistakes.”

Testifying before Congress in May, Barr told lawmakers he believed “spying did occur” on the Trump campaign, but stopped short of saying whether it was done improperly.

“I think spying on a political campaign is a big deal,” he told the Senate Appropriations Committee, before adding, “I am not suggesting that those rules were violated, but I think it’s important to look at them.”

President Trump has repeatedly said his campaign was illegally surveilled and has even accused officials of treason. “My Campaign for President was conclusively spied on,” the president wrote on Twitter in May.  “Nothing like this has ever happened in American Politics. A really bad situation. TREASON means long jail sentences, and this was TREASON!”

The Justice Department declined to comment on the Times’ report.

A post turned into a blog.

I started to post on Kevin's last blog and it kept running on so I thought I'd just post it as a blog. So here we go...

The democrat/communists have been up to this shit since the sixties when they merged with the American Communist Party. Using tried and true communist apparatus tactics. Lie, strike fast, repeat and repeat. Don't debate the facts, just repeat the lies. Don't wait for the fallout, just keep hammering. They're doing the same things they falsely accuse President Trump of doing? They know that. They ignore that. This is the same kind of propaganda based disinformation the communists have mastered after a half a decade of practice. This is how they have convinced half of America to become useful idiots and support communism over free market capitalism.

Communism is just greed amplified. It appeals to one of the worst base instincts of humankind, the idea that you have more than I do and dammit, that's just not fair. So I should get some of yours. Communism depends on greed and envy, with a fair amount of sociopath thrown in for good measure. No morality. No religion. Just greed and envy.

It is said that Christianity is the antidote to communism. They can't exist in the same country. That's why the dem/coms have worked so vigorously to expel Christianity from the public spaces. That's why they elected a Marxist muslim from Kenya to the presidency last time around. That's why they never rest in their drive to diminish and remove Christianity. That's why the name of God draws boos and hisses at their conventions. They hate God, which puts them squarely on the side of Satan.

All this stuff we are seeing, this "whistleblower", the Russia nonsense and everything else these commie bastards excrete is only the visible symptoms of the disease. The disease is communism, and it's spreading like a modern day cancer.

And my friends, if we don't get this disease out of the American bloodstream, we are doomed as a free nation. I don't know how we do that. Human nature makes these people want what isn't theirs. What others have worked to earn. And they have been indoctrinated by sixty years of commie infiltrated public education to believe this godless doctrine.

We gave them this. We let them infiltrate our schools and universities. We never saw it coming. And they were quietly and incrementally implementing a plan birthed in the bowels of Soviet Russia. And they did it. And now we are reaping the consequences.

And let this be a lesson. They are doing the exact same thing with gun control. Incrementally and silently. They look to win small battles, one at a time. We look to fight the big fight. They are winning that one too. Commies are patient. They know people will swallow almost anything in small bites until they have fed them the whole enchilada. Then it's too late.

I think it's time for the Republicans, who I have about 60% confidence in these days to fight back. Get just as dirty. Build campaigns on whatever, true or not. Run commercials of Joe Biden and his Ukraine blackmail. Is there another side to that story? I don't know. And I don't care. Run it, showing his words and make a direct connection to his corrupt family and his crooked cokehead son.

Take the fight to them. Don't take the high road. Don't try to be the "better" party. Turn President Donald Trump loose and hide and watch Republicans. He has more political instincts than all of you put together. He's proven that. No more of this "I like him but I wish he wouldn't tweet or say mean things" bullshit. He knows what he's doing. Let him do it.

So, what does one do when the world finally loses it's shit and goes full blown batshit crazy?

What do you do when the miserable excuse of a mainstream American media launches yet another attack on Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh?

What do you do when the communists threaten to take your guns away?

Pretty much any Sunday morning, afternoon, or evening works for me.

"Since I am a bad mood this morning, here is my rant. Social Justice is a thinly veiled means to bring communism into our nation, and sadly millions of Christians have fallen for this evil trap.

Social justice, on every level and issue, is built on the founding principle of redistribution of resources and advantages (money, property, healthcare, admission into college, special rates and requirements for loans for minority groups, etc.). This is also the founding principle of Marxism, the foundation of communism. Social justice uses the State to impose this redistribution on all people groups, unless you happen to be an "oppressed" group (and all oppressed groups are defined by the followers of social justice and only by the followers of social justice).

In the overwhelming majority of the mainstream churches in the West social justice has replaced Jesus Christ as Lord. It does not matter what God says about justice, it only matters how liberal man defines justice. Illegal immigration is just one example. Social justice disciples believe "Any means may be used to advance a greater good." This is a direct quote by Karl Marx and I have heard this or a version of this from literally 100's of ELCA pastors. These men and women, who think they are the shepherds of God's flock, justify their support of social justice by quoting this verse, Micah 6:8 "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?"

Their flaw is that they then ignore what God teaches about justice, and replace it with their vision of justice. They ignore what God says about abortion, and make abortion a "good and holy" thing, but making it about the "justness" of a woman having "control" of her body, and stating that it is "an outdated patriarchal oppressive" culture seeking to control women that denies abortion. Thus turning a sin, murder of an innocent child, into a righteous act. And making the righteous act of defending life into a sin filled act of oppression of women.

Social justice is a Trojan horse used to manipulate an ignorant population into enslaving itself to a select group of politicians. Sadly many who call themselves Christian have lost Jesus Christ and are instead following a secular vision of Christ built upon the lies of social justice."

A little something to think about...

We all know about the loons running San Francisco declaring the NRA a domestic terror organization, right?

When I first heard about it I just kind of laughed it off.

But once you get to thinking about it you might realize this is a well though out and obvious next step for those who dream of disarming the American people.

You've all heard of the so-called "Red Flag laws" the gun grabbers are pushing, right?

On the surface, the way it's being sold makes perfectly good sense.

None of us want unstable and even deranged people running around loose with a gun of any kind.

But it's not that simple and we all know it.

First off, by declaring the NRA a terrorist organization they've effectively declared it's 5 million members terrorists as well.

If this thing gains traction how long do you think it'll take for them to start using their new found power these so-called "Red Flag Laws" provide to come after your guns?

Because after all no one wants a terrorist having a gun.
